Echo flew back to her camp and sneaked into the den and curled up in her nest. She curled up and closed her eyes, she reflected on what happened before having a dream. Echo was happy that Bae's dad didn't attack her, or seem shocked that she had wings too. She sighed and then focused on having a good dream.

Baelfire went to sleep exhuasted when he was in his place. He dreamt about what had happened wondering how his dad knew exactly where he was and why he wasn't surprised Echo had wings as well.

The next morning, Echo was rudely awoken by her parents. She was still tired, so she yawned and opened her eyes. "yes?"
"Echo darling, did anything happen while you were last night?" Her mother asked
"No...it was peaceful and quiet...why?" Echo asked
"The dawn patrol caught the scent of the other pack right on the border, and some scent on our side too," Her father said " We just wanted to make your alright.
"I am" Echo muttered and went back to sleep. She would worry about it later after she was awake.

Baelfire woke up. This time it was because he wanted to not because his dad made him. He padded out of the den and inhaled deeply. Something about last night bothered him. He headed towards his friends den hoping he was still there.

Lyric watched as Baelfire crossed the clearing to Lanthes den.

Lanthe was still sleeping in his den.

Echo woke up fully about a few minutes later. She always found it hard to fall back asleep whenever someone woke her from a deep sleep. She got up and went to eat a rabbit from the prey pile, a few of the young ones coming over to talk with her as she did.

Baelfire tried to wake Lanthe. When that failed, he left the den and came back with a bowl of water. He dumped it on Lanthe's head causing the wolf to jolt awake.

"What was that for?" Lanthe asked a little annoyed.

"I had to wake you some how." Bae said as he started out of the den to take the bowl back to the healer. "Don't go back to bed."

"They said some wolves were on our territory!" One of the young ones said "Did you see them Echo? Did you? Did you?"
Echo swallowed the piece of meat she was chewing on. " I didn't see anything when I was out last night. So you guys don't have to worry about anything"

once he took the bowl back to the healer, he went back into Lanthes den. Lanthe was there awake but he was yawning. "Good your up."

"Yeah I'm up you dumped water on me." Lanthe complained.

"Well we need to talk and it couldnt wait"

"What's there to talk about?" Lanthe cocked his head to the side.

"Awww, so something may have happened and no one will know what" The young one pouted

Echo chuckled "Sorry Young one, but maybe something interesting not relating to the other pack will happen. Now, why don't you all run along and let me finish my breakfast" She suggested

"Ok Echo!" They ran off

"What's there to talk about?" Baelfire said in a mimic angered tone. "Lets talk about the fact that your a traitor!" He said angrily. He remained standing as he stared down at Lanthe.

"What do you mean by I'm a traitor?" Lanthe was starting to get mad. he didnt like to be accused of things.

"You told my dad about Echo. You also told him our exact location last night. And thanks to you my dad and I got into a fight. Why would you do something like that?"

"I didnt... I wouldnt... your dad made me. Hes the alpha I can't diobey my alpha."

"Even if it means hurting your best friend?" Bae asked. He studied Lanthes face for a moment before turning around and leaving.
