Echo opened her wings and flew up onto the branch next to Baelfire. Relived that his father would leave them alone for now, her ears perked up when He asked about meeting her parents. "O-oh...well, I don't know...They're already paranoid and protective so I'm not sure how they'll act"

"I'm sure it can't be worse then the way my father acted. Besides, we'll never be able to be together if we don't tell your parents about us." Baelfire said looking down at the ground far below. "Our packs will continue to fight and they will get nowhere. Unless we step in. We can stop the war that has been going on. You and me." He said before licking her cheeck.

"Us? Stop this war?" Echo was a little shocked that they could possibly stop this war that had been going on since they were pups. She took a deep breath and looked up at the stars "ok, I'll introduce you to them...in the afternoon"

Baelfire was taken aback a little when Echo seemed shock. He clmed down though and licked her nose. "Ok. I'll have to sneak out, but..." He trailed off leaving her to finish his sentence. He nuzzled her affectionately.

She smiled and nuzzled him back "It's alright if you can't" Echo said "I'm just worried about my parent's reaction but you'll need to meet them eventually"

"Ok." Baelfire said. A howl from his father told him it was time to go home. "I'll see you tomorrow" He said spreading his wings. He licked her again before he flew home. He landed on the ground padding into his den. He laid down in the back and closed his eyes.

Echo smiled a bit and sighed after he flew off. She was going to introduce Baelfire to her parents tomorrow. Echo spread her wings and flew back to camp and walked into the den and laid down in her nest while her mind raced. Wondering how everything was going to go, and if this would actually fix the war.

Baelfire didn't sleep but let his mind wander. He moved his head slightly to glance at his father. His father was already asleep in his usual spot where his mother used to lay. Baelfires heart ached for his mother.
