"I will." Bae said before running off in the forest in the direction of his pack. Pack mates were running about acting as if they have never seen a change of alphas before. Some of them havent but the elders definately had and yet theyare acting like pups. Baelfire shook his head in disappointment. A juvenile female, one of the ones that were part of the group that continuously watch him, came up to him. "Would you like some help training for the tests?" She asked in a sweet shy voice. "I've already chosen a mate and that will be announced three days after I become alpha. And I don't need to train. I have trained my whole life. Now it is time to have confidence and take over." Bae half growled before turning to his den and laying in the shadows at the far back.

"Dad..." Echo said as they entered their camp in silence, she had a question to ask. She wanted to know what would happen after the switch of alpha's in Baelfire's pack, it was most likely going to be announced that they were secret mates and were going to stop the war between the two packs. "I-" Her dad cut her off.
"Once the switch of alphas is made, you will be living with Baelfire yes," Stone answered, already seeming to know what his daughter was asking. "And with you two helping to stop our packs from battling you will always be allowed back to visit the territory and us," He said, watching Echo wag her tail and smile.

Lyric padded up to his son. "You should be training." He said in a calm tone. "I've been training my whole life." Baelfire said to his father. "Yes but not specifically for this." His father said. "I know. I will be starting on training tomorrow."

The rest of the day went by faster than Baelfire had expected, and soon it was a new day. The sunlight pooled into the pack's camp, some wolves were already out and about setting up things for the trials Baelfire was supposed to do and complete in order to show that he would be a good pack alpha. The whole pack would be pitching it for this, though most were still clueless about his secret mate.

Baelfire got up and started walking around the pack. Most of the challenges, he already knew about and was ready. The true tests he wouldnt know about til the day of.
