Baelfire smiled at the thought of things getting serious. "Well whenever your ready, I'm ready." He said taking a deep breath. His heart still racing at the inevitable. He knew sooner or later he would have to meet them and that sooner was most likely better than later. "Besides it can't go as badly as meeting my father." He said with a slight chuckle hoping to lighten the mood.

(Stone is the father)

Echo nodded and went to retrieve her parents, her wings were shaking a little. She was hoping for a somewhat good reaction, She told her parents to follow her and brought them to Baelfire.

Her father, Stone, growled at Baelfire. Wondering what in the world an enemy wolf was doing on their territory, was he trying to steal Echo from them? He wasn't going to let that happen. Her mother just seemed beyond shocked.

Echo stepped in front of her father and spread her wings "Father stop!" She said "I brought you to show you my mate...and yes, it's Baelfire" She said firmly.

Baelfire shuffled uneasily. Unconsciously, he rustled his wings making himself bigger. "This was a mistake echo. We should have waited." He took a deep breath and looked between echo and her parents. A howl in the distance is his father calling him home. "Oh and my dad has wonderful timing. He can wait this is more important." He whispered under his breath.

Stone stopped in his tracks when Echo jumped in front of him, he was about to tell her to move when she had said that this wolf, the enemy was her mate. "W-what..?" That was all he could say.

Echo's mother walked up beside Stone and sat down beside him and nuzzled him to calm him down. "Please...uh, explain this to us, sweetie," She said in a calm but surprised tone.

Once Echo was sure her father wasn't going to murder Baelfire, she lowered her wings and stood beside Baelfire. "How do you think we should start this?"

Baelfire whatched Echos parents cautiously. He nuzzled her when she stood by him. "From the begining i guess." He looked at her before looking at her parents. "You want me to explain or would you like to?" Bae asked in a whisper to her.

"I can start it off..." Echo said as she took a deep breath and looked up at her parents. "One night, I saw Baelfire at the border. I stayed hidden but when I saw he had wings like me I saw him and fell out of a tree" She said. "I started to talk with him"

"We talked about how this fight between our packs needed to stop." Baelfire chimed in. "We weren't expecting to fall in love. we just needed someone like ourselves to talk to." He looked at Echos parents. "You have a wonderful daughter and I love her and she loves me. This fighting between the two packs won't allow us to be together, but you can help stop the fighting." He said looking back at Echo for approval.

Echo nodded to what Baelfire continued on with, she did look away slightly when he complimented her. She lifted her head back up and looked over at her parents, waiting for their reaction to what they had said. She was ready to protect Baelfire in case of a bad reaction, but not sure how she would react to a good reaction.

Stone was quiet, looking at his daughter and at Baelfire. He wasn't deaf to the howl he heard before the two started talking but he had to focus his thoughts on what was in front of him. It was obvious why Echo was so happy to find someone like her and then the two both unexpectedly falling in love. Stone looked up at the sky and sighed, there was a way out of this long war possibly due to the two pairing up together. Looking back at the pair he took a deep breath and let it out, "I don't approve of him yet for obvious reasons but.." He looked over at his mate.

Echo's mother looked back at Stone and nodded to him, "At least let us see how it goes" She said to him. "We have a chance to put an end to this, and it's obvious they love each other deeply so why not give it a try?" She gave Stone a small smile, and then turned and smiled at Echo and Baelfire.

Stone looked over at Baelfire and Echo after listening to his mate. " Since you two do seem to love each other...we will support you in trying to stop the endless fighting."

Lyric was tierd of waiting for Baelfire. He ran through the forest expecting him to be on the border like he had been every night for a while now. He broke through the bushes to see his son, the she wolf from the other night, and two others he didn't recognize. He did recognize their scent however, and this caused a growl to rise in his throat.

Baelfire looked shocked at Echos parents reaction. He was greatful though. "So now we just have to get my dad on the same page." He said. When he heard the growl, he jumped and faced his father. His own growl erupting from his esophagus. He stood in front of his dad growling. "Dad stop. Their Echo's parents. They had a right to know about Echo and me as well."

Echo jumped in surprise when someone bursted through the bushes, turing around to see Bael's dad. She remembered him from the other night and she was scared of him, but did her best not to show that in front of her parents. "At least we don't have to spend time finding your dad..."She didn't want to be attacked by Baelfire's dad, since he looked ready for a fight.

Stone quickly stood in front of his mate when a wolf bursted through the bushes. From Baelfire's response, this seemed to be his dad, who was the alpha of the other pack. Echo was too far away for him to stand in front and protect her, but he would jump in if a fight broke out.
