Quinn sold no wares, and had no way to make money, but she would never stoop to begging on the street sides for money. Even when He was in town, basically throwing Credits everywhere, Quinn never approached, never made eye contact, and never acted like she needed anything from anyone. As she passed by one of the better-off merchants, Quinn snuck out deft fingers and slipped some iron figure into her pocket. She would be able to trade it for a meal somewhere, hopefully.

The market wasn't colorful like the ones inside the gates. Probably because merchants didn't need to draw people over with bright colors here, just having a shop up gathered more people. So Jack stayed off to the sides while clumps of people passed till he made it to one of the poorer merchants. She was the person who had helped him out when he first came to the Outskirts. For a nice sum of money of course. "Hey Little Robin," that was her nickname for him. He acted like he absolutely hated it but it was sometimes nice to have someone who was kind to him. "Hello Madison," he replied simply. The woman was in her late 30s and had two little children of her own. Their father had been killed in a riot. Now she was a single mother who sold whatever she could find for money. "So anything catch your eye? Tell you what, I'll make you pay 10 credits more for anything since you are practically made of them." She laughed lightly and the corners of Jack's mouth twitched. "Hmm, someone's in a good mood huh Little Robin?" Jack sighed which was basically a yes. "Here, I'm gonna take this. How much is it?" Jack pointed at a potted tree, it was small, meaning it was an indoor one.

Quinn crossed the crowded market, head down, hood up, like always. She kept her hands on her things, for she certainly wasn't the only thief there. Speaking of theft.. she looked around with a quick gaze, seeing if there was another opportunity to steal.
Maybe Jack gets attacked or whatever or cornered cuz someone wants his money and Quinn helps and thats how they meet?

Oh yas. And he refuses to use his power in public. Yaaaaass)
After a long moment, Madison replied. "Interesting choice, how about.. hmm 30 credits? It was hard to steal." Jack nodded and clicked a small button on his wristband. A small holographic screen pulled up in front of him asking if Madison Lawyers was the person he wanted to transact with. After tapping yes, he quickly said the amount and sent it over. A small ding escaped Madison's own wristband and she smiled. "Thank you very much Little Robin. Come again soon." She smiled and waved at him as he teleported the tree back home followed by walking away. A shift in the air around him alerted him to the tension that had suddenly made itself evident. Looking over his shoulder, a group of seemingly homeless people were following him. After confirming that they were following him he turned around. "Is there a problem men?" Jack asked, a bored look on his face. Slowly they inched forwards and Jack still did nothing. Most people would've activated their powers by now but Jack refused. Meanwhile, the men in front of him had begun powering up. No way was Jack going to use his powers here. That would mean death or worse.

Quinn noticed how people's attention was suddenly anywhere... but on the East side of the market. This made her curious, and if curiosity killed the cat.... well honestly it might be a relief from whatever half-life she was living.

"Is there something you want other than to prove that you're strong or something?" Jack asked this with a slight hint of anger. "All the credits in your account now or else." The biggest man said this with an intimidating look. Jack began to chuckle, which led to a full on laugh. "No I'm good thanks. I only give away credits to the humble and the ones who are actually in need. Now, how about you get away from me or else." The others powered up and one sent themselves straight at Jack. The young boy moved as quick as lightning and moved out of the way before kicking out his leg and sending a hard blow into the guys side. The man roared in pain as he fell to the floor and with the 4 others powering up, it was only a matter of time before Jack would be required to power up instead of using his own strength.

Quinn, with a gusty sigh to rival the best of her storms, flashed over. "Bullies," she scoffed, "waste of my time." And with that, she clubbed one over the head, kicked the back of ones knee, and glared at another. She made her way to rich boys side, and made it obvious any further attacks on their part would result in bruises.

Jack looked over to the girl who had just strutted in. A slightly confused expression on his face. By the time she had gotten over, he had taken out 3 of them without powering up, though it had been hard not to. His natural instincts were to freeze them but he knew that he'd probably pass out. "Uh thank," he said this quietly to the girl who had suddenly appeared. The other men began to back away, a few knew who this girl was it seemed and were afraid.

She narrowed her eyes, and slowly rolled up her sleeves, showing scars and bruises, "Go. Now." Each word dropped like an axe, ready to slice and kill.

Jack looked slightly startled but slowly nodded, backing away quickly. "Thank you again." He said quietly as the crowd moved a bit so he could get through.
