Still looking rather conflicted, Jack looked at Kiache again, this time rather serious. "Are you sure? I wouldn't want to leave you alone again if you weren't okay with it." He seemed very genuine, his blue hair moving with the soft breeze in the room. His nose a light pink due to the cold that always surrounded him though it seemed better today.

Kiache
Kiache shrugged, "Alone and I know one another quite well. Go. Don't let myself be the reason you do not have fun."

Jack almost looked excited, well as excited as he could look since he wasn't smiling. "Thank you Kiache, and I'll be back as soon as I can. Promise. And uh, while I'm out, is there anything I can get for you? Like, food wise or something to make the tanks better?" He looked at her intently, his credits were practically unlimited so getting Kiache things wouldn't be hard at all.

Kiache shrugged, "A leaf," she requested simply. "From any tree of any size. Don't hurt the tree, though..." and with those words Kiache did a little wave, then dove down into the tank and settled herself on a ledge.

A small bit of confusion reached Jack's gaze but he quickly shook it off. Knowing that she could hear him under the water, he spoke even after she was gone. "Okay, I'll get the leaf. I'll be back soon." For a moment he almost sounded happy and then he was gone, out the door. Speedily running to the large front door and out into the world. What met him was the tall, spiriling buildings made of glass and metal. The sky covered by a thick layer of smog made from the growth of the population. Clicking a button on his band, his hover board appeared in front of him and he quickly hopped on. Taking off quickly, relisishing his freedom.

That's nice))
Speeding over to the huge gates; Jack slowly lowered the speed then came to a stop in front of the gate guard. Touching a button on his wristband the hover board disappeared quickly. "What's your business?" The guard asked like she always did. Though she already knew what he wanted, Jack had the feeling she really didn't like him. "I'm just going into the Outskirts, per usual ma'am." Jack said this simply and she quietly opened the gate a tad to let him through. The smell of smoke and sweat reached Jack's nose and it seemed to be much warmer here than in the City. Which was to be expected. Walking though the crowded streets with even breaths, he made his way to the market where people knew him well.

Quinn wore her ripped jeans, and grey hoodie. The rips and tears and worn spots in her clothes was not a fashion statement, or something of choice, but rather the signs of use and age.
Along with the signs of fights she has been in.
Her hood was up, hiding her face from people who might know her, who were there that night two years ago. She was still embarrassed and angry about it. She always would be, as long as they empty, empty hole in her soul was there. And unless the impossible happened, it would never be back.
Quinn tried to shake off her dark clouds, but no matter how she tried, they never left.

People in the Outskirts knew Jack as the kid who would spend credits freely. Who helped the poorest folks with a nice sum of credits in their account. Everyone had a bracelet, so everyone had an account, it was really that simple. The bracelets were placed on as soon as a person was born, they grew with you. So yes, everyone had one, they were impossible to take off. Walking through the relatively crowded streets, Jack kept his hands tucked inside his jeans, not wanting to accidentally freeze someone or something. It was fall and getting relatively chilly, which meant it was freezing for Jack. Keeping his head down, he started heading towards the market avoiding bumping into others. He stood out against the crowd, sure his clothes were ripped but just his jeans and they weren't dirty. His head was covered by a beanie and his jacket was clean and his light blue hair was just it's regular mess. He wasn't like these people, and everyone knew it. But no one would mess with him either. Considering the fact that not only did he buy items from he poorer class, he also helped he homeless. Plus, his powers weren't exactly obvious but the air around him was pure cold. Meaning his power must be something more powerful than most.
