Loki | M | Scavenger | Strays United | M: Makena Loki grinned at the fox beside him before his ears flattened at her compliment. "Well uh, I would if the other dogs understood me like Frost and you foxes do." Loki finally said after a moment before shrugging, "The dogs in my pack are soft and 'care' for each other. You could say the only reason I stay is because I have a crush on the alpha. That special someone." He got dreamy eyes for maybe half a second before his eyes narrowed. "If I can get that tuff of fur out of my way." He muttered to himself, thinking about Harry before shaking his head. "You know what a wolf is like right? Think of a puppy in a grown up form. That's pretty much a dog. At least, that's what my pack is." He said, his tone edging towards sharp and irritated.
Loki then looked back at Makena as if realizing he was talking to a fox. "You probably think of me as a human pet gone rogue hm? That's what most of the dogs in my pack are. Strays, hence the name. Not me. I started on the streets and I'd rather die on them than in human paws." Loki said, flicking his ears. "What was the question again?" He then asked quietly, scrunching one of his eyes closed as he realized once more that he had gotten off topic. "Oh right. Friends." He remembered and his eyes narrowed in an annoyed way. "No friends for me. Other than Frost, you can call be a friendless stray. I doubt the others have even realized I disappeared." Loki finished, rolling his eyes. |

Shadow | M | Alpha | Shadow Forest | M: Alha's Pack(ind), Laan, Bardou, Killjoy Shadow watched Killjoy go off to talk to one of the brother's before turning to Bardou and Laan. "You two can head back to the camp. I'm going to take Alpha Killjoy to start on defenses with the foxes. You can report back to Alpha Night that the pact went well and the meadow is up for hunting from all the packs." He said to Bardou, dipping his head respectfully before turning to Alha. "I believe there was one of your pack that wished to join us in the defenses? Where might he be?" Shadow asked, looking around for the male he had seen the day before.
Alha rolled her eyes, "You would know better than I would. I think he went off with a fox earlier though." She said, nodding towards the town's direction. Shadow nodded, "Mist or Frost must have picked him up then. I'm meeting the foxes at my camp." Alha dipped her head to Bardou and Laan before getting up to walk over to her sister. Shalah nodded to Shadow as he headed towards the edge of the clearing. He looked back to call to Killjoy, "Alpha Killjoy! We must leave now if we are to meet the foxes at my camp." |

The multicolored female watched as her brother's dark form retreated from her view, a worried look flickering through her eyes before transforming back to the normal impassive state. Wordlessly she followed after Night, nodding gently as he spoke along the way. Her ears flicked a bit as he spoke, taking in his words while quietly taking turns studying him and the surrounding terrain.
"It is unlikely she will return then?" It was both a question and a statement, not wanting to be blunt and point out the obvious bad news. However, a wolf missing without a trace wasn't exactly good news. She observed the way his ears laid flat against his head, but, aside from them, the male didn't seem outwardly bothered by anything. Though, Talia assumed being an Alpha he wouldn't visibly appeared concerned about things as to not worry the rest of his pack. Best not to pry too much.
He ears flicked up fully and she glanced at him as he directed the conversation onto her and she half heartedly shrugged a shoulder in response. "It's different. Before it was just my family. Mom. Dad. Siblings. Most of my litter, the ones who survived, dispersed shortly after turning two, there were no prospects of any mates in a family pack. But I stayed, I wanted to help my parents and my siblings," Talia stopped for a moment, rerouting herself to stop rambling and better answer his question. "But I'm doing okay. I'm happy we found your pack, it seems like the right place for me. I'm sure Rowan feels the same way, he's just in his feelings right now and confused." It wasn't unusual for Talia to turn the conversation away from herself, not being a she-wolf who was comfortable talking about herself, even with the Alpha himself.
"And you? I imagine not everyone thinks to ask the Alpha how he's doing. So, how are you, Night?" |

Wary eyes scanned the forest as delicate paws picked their way carefully through the forest of dogwood trees. The familiar gurgle of a river was music to her ears as it joined the chorus of birds and bugs singing their song around her. The greyscaled female was a new sight in the forest, and the nervousness of a new place was evident in the stiff way she moved close to the river. She was thirsty, that much was clear, but she had scented multiple packs in the surrounding areas, and wasn't sure how likely it was for her presence to be discovered. However, her need for water was worth the risk.
Slowly she exited the cover of the dogwood, ears flicking back nervously against her head as she took hesitant step after hesitant step forward til she reached the river's edge. Flicking her ears to listen for any sign of threat, nose twitching on her snout, she let out the barest of whines before lowering her muzzle. Quickly she lapped at the cool liquid, letting it calm the dry anger in her throat, her shoulders visibly relaxing as she drank.
Flicking her tail, the petite she-wolf lowered herself to her haunches as she pulled her head up and looked around. Sighing softly she set to grooming her coat gently. There was twigs and leaves trying to hitch hike in her coat, and she was making quick work of removing them. Lone wolf or not, Larkspur would not allow herself to look disheveled, no sir. That just would not do.

Night | M | Alpha | Raven | M: Talia Night flicked an ear at her statement, which was a combination of a question as well. He sighed, closing his eyes before giving a slight nod. Yes, Ore was gone. To disappear like nothing was ever there was disturbing. Perhaps Laan or Flame would have heard something going on. He knew Laan heard quite well even with his small ears and Flame, well, that elder had better hearing than himself. Night knew she had to in order to make up for her sight but it still made him want to learn a bit of it.
At her response, he listened to her quietly before nodding, "I am glad you are doing well in the pack. Rowan will have time to sort out his feelings and River will put him in order." He said, tilting his head back towards her at her next question. His eyes met hers, holding them for a moment before he looked away. "At this point, I believe only you and Alpha Shadow know that I am not at my best. In short terms, no." Night said, gazing out at the trees as his eyes lost focus. "I have lost not one but three of my top ranking wolves, unsure of another and still processing that humans are pressing into our territories. Not only that, but we have lost yet another batch of pups. I believe we only have two pups till the spring comes." Night said, frowning before wincing slightly.
"Don't bring it up with Shiva. She would bite my head off for just mentioning it." Night said with a slight tease before shaking his head. "I am glad that two of my pack is back home safely, although I do not know how long it will stay that way." Night said quietly before shaking his head. "However, for the good of the pack, I must stay strong. The last thing they need is a leader that is as nervous as they are." He finished before flicking his tail to invite Talia to join him in a walk. He was walking towards the lake at an easy pace, keeping the conversation up between them instead of creating an awkward silence. Which he seemed to do good at making in between him and Shadow.
"I can not remember if you remember Brute, our beta. The last place I scouted him was on the other side of the lake. I fear that losing another pack member might be a breaking point for the pack if something is not done. Aquila and Fallon leaving was a surprise but after a talk with both Ore and Brute last night, they were not anywhere near leaving." Night said, his frown deepening slightly. He was unsure of what was going on but he did not like the changes that was happening. |

Makena | F | fox | M: Loki Oop, that was the wrong compliment. Well, atleast he didn't get too upset. He could easily turn and attack. A shiver ran down Makena's spine as thoughts flooded her mind. No, things-that-look-like-wolves haven't proven to be bad. They might actually be okay. Well, as okay as a thing-that-looks-like-wolves can be anyway. Her mind then turned to Muli when Loki spoke about his crush. I hope he's okay. We haven't been apart this long before... . Makena mentally shook herself, getting rid of her thoughts before turning back to Loki. A wolf is alot of things of which aren't good. But you could describe them as a killer canine who dosent show mercy, Makena thought but instead just nodded. She guessed their young wasn't that bad though, so maybe dogs were cool. With Loki's next words, Makena accidentally snorted. That's not what she thought at all. When he finished talking, she nodded, as if thinking what to say. And that was exactly what she was doing. "First of all, i didn't mean to get on a topic that wasn't very pleasant for you, but that is not my first impression of you at all." She said finally. . Makena then eyed Loki for a second, again thinking about what to say. "You seem like someone who belongs out here." She said, telling the truth. "That may only be because you look similar to a wolf and a fox, but still. Honestly, i wasn't even thinking about you being a stray until you said something. And even then, you dont look like a stay." Makena said before looking down and pursing her lips. Why was she being so honest? Was she getting soft and forgetting everything that happened? Makena huffed before jumping onto a tree branch. She wasn't going to be weak. She then countinued to walk by Loki, just above and not beside. |

Icicle & Shiva | F | Fox & Hunter | SFP & Raven | M: Anya, Rowan, Astro(ind) Icicle giggled with Anya before shaking out her fur at her question. Her face did not show anything except for happiness even though Anya was going somewhere. "Yeah, it is like a superpower. We could probably do it too with time and patience, which I don't have much patience for this kind of stuff." Icicle whispered, giggling before Flame interrupted them, "Why don't you go find out? It's almost sunhigh so Icicle will be taking her nap soon, so she will watch Bri. I will probably take a walk myself in a bit." Icicle looked up at her, peering over the edge before poking Anya with a paw, "What she said. Also, I think that answers your question." She pointed with her nose down to where Rowan was starting to wander towards the hunters.
Icicle nodded to Anya before giving her a nuzzle, "I'll be here when you get back!" She said perkily before curling around Bri, getting some extra snuggles in while she settled down for a nap. She always took a pre-afternoon nap although she was a tad surprised that Flame picked up on it. Usually the elder went for a walk in mid-morning and came back after sun high.
Shiva watched as Talia and Night went off towards the border. She knew that Night didn't want anyone to be alone when going out but she was a tad annoyed that he took a rookie scout. Granted, she might have a bit more experience than Shiva would give her credit for especially being sent on a patrol and er--coming back. Shiva did not understand why packmates were not coming back from patrol, but she did not want anyone else to go.
Shiva flicked her ear as River and Sundown came out of the medic's den, one excited and one tired. River disappeared into the hunter's den with a nod to them before Shiva noticed Rowan wondering. She spoke quietly to Astro, "If you want to stay with the patrol, you can if you would like. If you would rather like River to teach you how to fish, then you can stay here. I'm going to take Rowan out fishing. It would be good experience for him, especially since we'll be fishing a good bit before the river ices over."
Getting up, she made her way over to Rowan, her tail swishing behind her slightly. She came up beside him before saying, "I'm heading over to the river to fish, would you care to join me? River is resting from a hunting accident so it will just be me, you and maybe one more wolf." Shiva waited close by, waiting for his answer and if anyone joined them. |

Anya | F | Member | SFP | M: Icicle, Flame, Shiva and Rowan "That would be cool if i could do that." Anya whispered back to Icicle before Flame interrupted. She was a bit hesitant, especially because she didn't want to make Icicle sad, but she finally nodded when Icicle herself told her to go. Anya then peered out the den when Icicle pointed. Her tail instantly began to wag as she got up. She leaned into Icicle's nuzzle for a second before focusing back on Rowan. "Okay. Have a good walk and nap, Flame and Icicle." She said before trotting out of the den. Anya was so overwhelmingly happy as she padded towards the two wolves. She did briefly stop to look at the huge unknown creature, her curiosity taking the reins for a bit. However, she quickly focused back on Rowan and Shiva, her excitement coming back. . "I didn't disappear!" Anya said as she reached the two wolves. She was mostly talking to Rowan, but she guessed it didn't hurt that Shiva knew she hadn't disappeared either. Especially since everyone seemed to be disappearing. Were the humans taking them? She wondered. She shivered at the thought before focusing her icy blue eyes on Rowan, meeting his gaze. She gave him a smile before asking, "Where are you going?" Again, she was mostly asking Rowan but Shiva could answer and she wouldn't mind. When one of the wolves answered, a big smiled crossed her lips. "Oohh i love fishing! Can i come?..As long as it's okay with both of you." Anya said, a brief look of worry crossing her face. She hated getting left behind, but she also knew sometimes Rowan just had to think. As quickly as the worried look came, it was replaced with one of Anya's winning smiles. However, if anyone would have saw it, it was probably Rowan. |

|Harry|M|Guard|SUP|M: Laan, Bardou, Killjoy, Alha| Harry heard a howl near by, and stood up. His long, brown fur stood on end, ears perked, and growling slightly. He knew that these wolves most likely meant no harm, but he couldn't trust them... execpt Shadow; he saved Harry's life. . Harry walked over to Alha, nodding to her. He stood in his german shepard-like confermation, alerting towards where the wolves were coming from. "So, wolves are coming huh?" He asked. . A snarled escaped Harry's mouth as the wolves bursted through the bushes. All were fairly large, but so was Harry, weighting nearly 130 pounds with all of his fur. He gave the outsides a hard glare, his bottom lip quivering slightly with hatred. . Harry sat down, his black-tipped tail wrapped around his black claws. He gave Shadow a slight smile, but the other Alpha a nasty glare. He was met with a confused look. I don't trust any of you. He thought, his sisters death flashed into mind. . He stood up, and allowed the Alpha's to talk without him overhearing, after all, if he were in Alpha, he would want his talks in private. He stood not too far away, but far enough to not listen in. . Alha and Shadow turned and walked away, and Harry approched the three left behind. He didn't interact with them, but he wanted to be close in case something happened. . When Shadow came back, the male jumped up, wagging his tail. The sudden movement made Harry flinch, and recoil backwards, before stopping himself from launching at the wolf. He knew it would look back, and luckily he had self control. Shadow introduced the male; Killjoy. What kind of name is Killjoy? Harry thought, wrinkling his nose. . Once Shadow had stopping talking, Harry walked over to sit next to Shadow, and Alha. He didn't speak, nor did he want to speak; he just wanted to bask in the silence next to the only wolf he trusted. . He listened to Shadow and Alha speak about Loki, his ear flicked back in slight manner. He turned his large head to face Alha, and blinked at her before turning back to watch the pack like a spinx. His floppy ear blew back in the wind slightly, and his standing ear tried, but it was too short to get far. |

"I'm ready when you are, lead the way." His tail wagged slightly, and he saw the glare from the large brown dog. He gave a smile before turning to Alha. "It was nice to see you again. I'll see you around." He said, nodding his head to female Alpha. |
