Shiva | F | Hunter | Raven | M: Rowan, Anya Shiva would have chuckled at Rowan's response if he didn't have such a deep look of thought on his face. The female that had been with River, Anya she believed, came over to join as well. Shiva hadn't seen her that morning much but she did smell strong of fox. Oh well, as long as the foxes behaved themselves, it would be fine. At her question, Shiva responded, "Going fishing in the river. Your brother joined us earlier." At her enthusiastic response, Shiva chuckled, giving her a small smile, "You bet you can. Three should bring home a good bit of fish. Not that we really need it."
Shiva shot the yak a look before nodding towards Rowan, "I'm not the best teacher when it comes to fishing but I learned from the best. When you get better at the basic fishing I know, then maybe River can teach you how to get the harder fish." Once both of them were ready, she nodded before taking off down the steep slope. She didn't want to take the medic's path to that river, too likely right now to run into dogs.
So she made sure they were heading towards the river that marked the border between them and the Eastern pack. She dodged through the trees, sometimes yipping at the others, teasing them to try to keep up. When one would pass her or she fell behind a bit, she would yip at them to slow down. Her tone stayed playful the whole way. She loved running so it was just one of those things.
When they made it to the river, Shiva slowed down before sitting next to the shore. Once the other two came down to sit next to her, she said, "Anya, I believe you had a fishing lesson last night with River correct?" When she got her answer, she nodded. "Then you can go ahead and start fishing. Rowan," She turned to the male before pointing with her nose at the water, "The first step to fishing is patience. When you see a fish come near, wait for it to get close before scooping it out of the water. Kinda like your digging in front of you." She tried to explain before waiting for a fish to come.
A salmon started to swim towards her and once it was in range, Shiva lunged forward, her paw scooping and throwing the fish out of the water before snapping its back when it flopped on the shore. She grinned at Rowan, "Your turn!" While Rowan started to look for his fish, Shiva turned slightly to see how Anya was doing. |

Shadow | M | Alpha | SFP | M: Killjoy Shadow kept his pace even, there was no reason to tire themselves out on the way. Plus, the foxes were probably going to meet them there. His forest made him more relaxed than most did although there was a certain scent on the air. Lone wolf? Down here though? He listened to Killjoy behind him before the male caught up beside him. At the question, Shadow flicked an ear at him as he nodded down at the ground. The path was still dirt but several pebbles were intermixed with the soil.
It was probably the first things he did with the foxes for the new camp. Putting the small rocks into trails throughout his camp and down to the river for Flame made it easier for her to get around on her own. Shadow actually thought she preferred it at times too. He would not like to be lead everywhere he went so he wouldn't fall or something. In case Killjoy didn't get the message, Shadow said, "We're almost there. These are Flame's paths. Helps her get around easier." He kept it short like normal but he did stop in the bushes outside of camp and stepped in front of Killjoy so he would do the same.
Shadow could smell the female quite well now and his head lowered. His ears flattened onto his head as he crept out of the bushes, letting a small growl out and showing his fangs to the den he had smelled the female. The female returned the growl a moment later, walking out although her snarl faded as she spotted Killjoy first. She probably didn't know he was here although she did look she knew Killjoy. "What are you doing here?" He heard her ask before Shadow snarled, "I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing in my camp?" She whipped around, freezing in place as she saw him. Shadow knew that he was towering over her, she was a bit small for a full grown wolf. Or maybe it was because he was also baring his fangs at her. |

Anya | F | Member | SFP | M: Rowan and Shiva As it usually was, Anya's tail wagged as Rowan said it was fine. The young female turned her gaze to Shiva, hope written it all over her expression. When Shiva said she could, she did a little jump with a excited yip mixed in. She had fished just this morning, but she would definitely be up for more. "I can fish almost as good as mom, Rowan." Anya added after Shiva stopped talking to him. The young female then followed after Shiva and Rowan, her belly swinging slightly. Anya let her gaze wonder as they made it out of camp from a different way besides the medic's path. "So this where the main entrace leads." She whispered to herself. . When Shiva started running, Anya was a bit hesitant to follow and a bit confused. Nevertheless, she picked up a run. After a while of running Anya finally relaxed and began to have actual fun. She brushed up against Rowan, a huge smile on her face and her tongue lolling out. "Catch me if you can." She said playfully, though she was going her full speed and couldn't go any faster. She never had caught up to Shiva but she was happy nonetheless. She had played with her friend! It felt so good. Anya followed Shiva to the river side and sat down. "Yeah. I had so much fun." She answered, her tail once again wagging. . Anya nodded and turned her focus onto the water. At the same time Shiva was explaining, Anya did the steps and caught a fish. It took all her strength not to laugh at the timing. She then decided to pause her fishing and turned her gaze onto Rowan. "You got this." She whispered, watching intently. If he didn't get the fish she would say, "It's alright Rowan. I didn't get it my first try either." But if he did get the fish, she would paw him playfully saying, "Goodjob! You were always a fast learner." In that moment, nothing held her focus except for Rowan. She didn't even realize Shiva was watching her. |

Cuentista-Female-Wolf-Eastern: M: Eastern Pack (Ind) Cougar (Dir) ~ Cuentista padded her way through the forest, limping on three legs. The pain hasn't suceeded from her leg yet, and keeps sending shocks through the muscle. Had she dislocated it? No, maybe it's just a sprain? Could be, but it would be the worst sprain she's ever had. Rustling came from the bushes, causing the elder to pick her head up and turn towards the sound, her ears swiveling around to catch the sound easier. "...Kestrel?" She guessed, her tail lashing from panic. Maybe it was only the wind! She thought and turned around, limping through the forest faster. A hiss came from behind her and she recognized the sound. The way her mother had described it. Cougar! She whipped her head around and then was knocked to the ground with a loud yelp that escaped her jaw when her cranium smacked hard onto the woodlands floor. She rolled onto her belly to kick the cat away, but all she got was a nice, close up look at an angry cougars' face as it's jaws snapped onto her throat. "Kestrel! Anyone! Help!" She howled and screamed at the top of her lungs before blood began to spill from her mouth as her vision faded. This is the end... And everything darkened for a final time. |

|Killjoy|M|Alpha|Eastern|M:Silver, Shadow| Killjoy picked up his pace, a neck's length ahead of Shadow. He was eager to get to Silver, if she was around still, knowing what Shadow could do. . His pace a steady, but forward. He seemed to glide over the ground, in an almost stalking position. His ear flicked back to let Shadow know that he'd heard him. His nose twitched, his whiskers moved slighly with it. . He slowed, and let Shadow lead the way out of the bushes. He was looking behind, scanning the area for Silver. He turned around, and saw Shadow stalking towards a den. Crap! He thought, following behind in a trot. He was about to say something when Shadow growled. . Much to his delight and horror, Silver stepped out of the den, matching Shadow's growl with her own snarl. His tail was low, but it still wagged slowly. On one hand, he was glad that it was just Silver, but he was worried that a fight would break out. . He met her eyes as she spoke. "What are you doing here?" He wanted to warn her, but Shadow got words out before him. "I could ask you the same thing." Killjoy watched Silver spin around, a scared look on her face. . He liked Shadow, respected him a ton, but he also liked Silver. He hesitated for a minute, trying to figure out what to do. He noticed the size difference. He wasn't much smaller then Shadow, but next to Silver, she didn't seem that small... . He made up his mind, and jumped between Shadow and Silver. His body was horizontal between the two wolves, but was turned more towards Shadow. "No need for a fight. Shadow, this is Silver. She is just passing by," He looked over at her, "We met on my territory. I don't think she means any harm." His gave Shadow a hopeful look. . He then glanced at Silver. What are you doing here? I knew that you were heading this way, but stay in the dens? As he thought, he gazed at the ground for a minute before looking back at Shadow, waiting for him to lash out. |

|Harry|M|Guard|SUP|M: Alha, Wolves (Ind.) Harry watched Alha closly, his eyes narrowed at he eyed the wolves, giving all of them a cold glare. He met Alha's stare with his own, and followed her. . His brown-black tail was out behind him in a curl. He let out a big sigh when Alha sat down by the river. "I know you do not like the wolves, but we will have to work with them. Just until our life is back to normal. You don't have to trust them, but I trust Alpha Killjoy to keep the pact. I do not know the Raven pack so you can stay wary of them. I'm not sure why they sent a scout to help with the pact but Alpha Shadow is staying with the Raven pack so we will have to deal with it for now." Harry looked at her. She sounded so professional. . He wagged his tail as he sat down next to her. "Anything for you." He teased, mimicing Loki. He did note that when the wolves left, she relaxed a ton. He tilted his head slightly. "You don't feel at ease with the wolves either?" He asked, his brown eyes watching her closely. . Wolves thinking we are useless? How rude... We have plently of talents! He tried to think of the 'talents' that the dogs in the pack had... He could only come up with Loki being annoying, Shalha healing, and the brothers getting into trouble. "I can hunt chickens, does that count?" He asked, knowing very well that his clumsy paws couldn't get anything much quicker nor swifter. . He was watching her out of the corner of his eye, and saw her tail flick. His turned his large head to face her. "Hey, I'm sure we'll be fine. No need to worry." He said, getting a slight bit closer. "We will figure something out, we always do." He said, smiling at her. |

Shadow | M | Alpha | Shadow Forest | M: Killjoy, Silver Silver | F | Loner | M: Killjoy, Shadow Silver was frozen in place, she barely heard anything happening around her. The large male practically towered over her and that other male was there. . .her skull was behind her. He hadn't seen it yet.
Shadow was staring hard at the female, seeing more of shock and surprise on her face than fear. Odd. He was surprised though when Killjoy jumped in front of her, positioning himself where he could see both of him. Smart, considering Shadow was close to attacking. Something about the female was familiar although Shadow couldn't place it. Which made him wary. At Killjoy's words, Shadow narrowed his eyes at the other male before the female retreated back a few steps.
Silver was breathing heavily but Killjoy's words floated over her like nothing. She looked as if she was ignoring him completely as she retreated a few steps back to hide her skull in her paws. All she could hear was her mother's words in her head. They repeated endlessly before Silver shook her head, picking up her skull and pushing past Killjoy. Before Shadow could growl anything, she rolled the raven skull over to his paws.
Shadow saw the female push past Killjoy and was just about to growl when she rolled something over to his paws. She took a step back afterwards, sitting down quietly. He looked down at the item before going still. A skull. No. A raven's skull. He sat down as he felt dizzy, his eyes squeezing shut and his ears flattening as a memory drifted to his mind. One that he had not thought about for years. . .
Shadow stalked forward, keeping his paws silent and his tail still as he crept forward. He knew at his age, he could never take down this old bull by himself but he was determined to try. He was hungry. He had just asked the foxes to go back home. They deserved a break. After all, they helped him kill a pack of rogues. Night owed him big time for that. However, somehow he knew he would never ask that of his friend. Besides, it's what he did best anyway it seemed. Well, as the foxes said, it all comes with the reputation. He flattened his ears as he heard Frost in his head. Yeah yeah, whatever.
Shadow flicked an ear, pulling himself out of his thoughts. Right --dinner. He had decided to explore the valley while Night gathered his pack together. It would take a while for them to become an actual pack again and even more time to heal. But that was up to Night now. Shadow wasn't much of a pack wolf. His stomach growled softly. Ah, enough thinking more hunting. Shadow crept downwind before wondering how he was going to take down this elk. Yes, it was old but it looked to still have fight in it. Shadow was tired of rabbit though and this was the only elk away from the herd.
Suddenly, movement from the other side caught his attention. A reddish-white wolf emerged from the grass, apparently thinking the same thing about the elk. A moment later, their eyes met. At first, they held each other's gaze before the female nodded. Shadow understood in an instant. He gave her a nod before she burst out of her spot, snapping at the elk. It reared and Shadow lunged forward, snapping at it's legs. She jumped up, her jaws closing on it's throat as Shadow held down one of the flying legs. Soon though, the elk stopped struggling and fell, dying as it hit the ground. Both of them panted for a bit before the female started laughing, "Never knew a lone wolf would come across my territory and help me catch something."
Shadow paused before laughing with her. "I didn't realize this was your territory." She grinned at him before winking, "Let's dig in!" They both ate their fill before laying down. They talked for a bit before a sharp wind hit them. Shadow groaned, he should have been back in the mountains by now! Who knows what Frost was thinking right now. Hopefully not worrying. Or plotting against Night. Shadow could smell the blizzard on the air, and the snow coming down from the mountains. "This way!" The female yipped at him and he followed her down the slope for a ways before they got to the den.
They must have gotten there just in time too as it started snowing hard. They watched it for a while, talking and getting to know each other. Her name was Crystal and she had been a lone wolf in this territory since her father passed. Shadow listened to her, noting with contentment as she said she was a fast learner and that hunter's in the area would have to walk across the moon before they caught her. They laughed and talked for a while more, two lone wolves snowed in from a blizzard. They played a few guessing games as well and questions. Only one had stuck with him. "Okay, here's a blizzard of a question," Crystal teased him and he gave a lopsided grin. "Hit me with it." He yipped at her before being stunned with it. "What is the first name that comes to mind if you ever had pups?"
Shadow blinked twice before saying, "Silver." Crystal crinkled her nose before looking at him with a confused look. "Why Silver? I would be going over every possible name in my head before choosing." She asked, blinking at him. He answered with a small smile, "Because there is silver everywhere. Silver in the clouds, silver in the moon, silver in the river water." He then said slyly, "Silver is the color of your spirit." If a wolf could blush, she would have been as red as a tomato. They bantered for a bit after that, throwing out random questions.
It was, however, getting cold. Shadow realized that Crystal was shivering as she laid down near the back of the den. Shadow got up to lay down behind her, curling around her to warm her up. She tensed at first before smiling and relaxing to cuddle up with him. They shared each other's heat throughout the night. As light filtered into the den the next morning, they got up before she said, "I know you need to go. I'm sure you have friends that are waiting for you. But if you ever come back, bring a raven skull. Everyone in the area will know your here to visit me." Shadow nodded before saying, "And the same to you. Bring a raven skull and I'll recognize it, as will my foxes. Be well Crystal." She ran with him one last time that day and they split with twin howls that matched each other perfectly.
The memory only took a minute but it seemed like a lifetime in Shadow's eyes. Little did he know that he would have met Lean and forget all about the lone female in the valley. Shadow opened his eyes to lift them to meet the female's. She matched them with eyes of blue, just like his. He looked closer at her pelt and his posture softened as he realized how little of her mother she looked like. When she spoke though, it was like looking in a mirror. "My name is Silver, like the clouds in the sky and the full moon. Every ripple of water has my name within. And my spirit will always be myself." She said, repeating her mother's words. The words that she had been told night after night.
Shadow stayed frozen in his sitting position as she started to walk slowly towards him. "My mother was Crystal. And this is her last gift to you," She said softly before nudging the skull with one paw, "I have been looking for my father. The wolf that got snowed in with my mother after a hunt. The same wolf that shares his pack with foxes and wolves. And the same wolf that will fight anything and risk everything for his friends." She finally stopped barely a foot from where Shadow was standing.
Shadow was speechless. His jaw opened and closed a few times before he snapped it closed. He had lost another. Crystal. A long lost lover. Shadow wavered before standing up. He had. . .a daughter. He had a daughter. Shadow closed the distance between them and touched noses with a sniffling Silver. She accepted his scent as he did hers before she nuzzled his chest, breathing heavily as she sobbed. She was home. She was never going to leave his side. She had left her mother's side for only a moment and she had died. Never again.
Shadow placed his head on hers before whispering, "I have a daughter. I have. .a daughter." She chuckled into his chest before turning to stand by his side. Her tail was now wagging eagerly as she looked at him, "I'm not leaving your side. Never again." She said before he licked her ear gently, "I'm not going to let you leave my side." He had a soft look in his eyes, one that he hadn't used since Lean. Both then realized that Killjoy was still there and looked over his way. "Awkward," Silver threw out with a sly grin not unlike Frost's, looking at Killjoy. "By the way, you still haven't told me what your doing here." She said, trying to lighten the situation. Even though her tail was still going wildly. She did notice that her father's --so odd to think now-- tail was swaying slightly but maybe that was his normal sweep. Oh she had so much to learn from him! Shadow was simply watching Killjoy with a calm expression even though he just wanted to jump around like a pup. He had a daughter! |

|Killjoy|M|Alpha|Eastern|M: Silver, Shadow| Killjoy's head turned to watch Silver take a stride or two back. His ears flicked back, listening behind him as he watched. He seemed worried. What are you doing Silver? Do you want to die? He thought in an harsh tone. He was about to speak when Silver pushed past him. . It suprised him, and showed on his face. How bold! Taking a step forwards, he paused, paw frozen in the air as she rolled the raven skull in front of him. When Silver stepped back and sat down, he followed, giving the two their space. He didn't dare take his eyes off of the two though. . Killjoy watched Shadow shut his eyes, and pin his ears. Here it comes. Killjoy thought, his own ears going back, the fur along his back starting to rise; but that wasn't needed. His eyes narrowed as Shadow just sat there, Silver in front. He felt... almost like... a third wheel. How disgusting. . He wrinkled his nose at the thought, rolled his eyes, and slightly stuck his tongue out as he rolled his eyes. That left a bitter taste.... He turned as Shadow opened his eyes. When she spoke about her mother, and the last gift, Killjoy's blood ran blue. But.. but.. I saw Lean's body. I saw his pups... His head was spinning. It must have been from a while ago. His face had a twisted expression on it, and his ears were back. He wasn't sure if it was from fear, excitment, or if he was just confused. Most likely option C. . Killjoy's face softened as they shared each other's scents. A sight to be seen. He thought of what he would do if he ever saw his own father again... not that it would ever happen; Shadow had burried him himself. . He watched, a weird smile on his face as Shadow began to lick Silver's ears. That was new, he'd never seen Shadow so happy, nor this much affection. He saw both pairs of eyes turn towards himself, and his tail wagged slowly. . "Awkward" Silver said, throwing him a sly smile "Hi. Umm... Quite the moment.. I'm here with Shadow to..." He gave Shadow a confused look, "I've forgotten why I'm here." He said, standing up. "I know that we were making a pact with the dog pack...." He thought a bit, "Oh! Right, traps." He said, laughing at himself. . He stood up, and shook out his short fur. He was unsure why and how Shadow had a calm look on his face. Killjoy shot him a teasing look, and stalked up to him. "If you want to celebrate, I'll step away." He whispered into his ear, giving him a smirk as he stepped away, the friendly gaze settled back onto his face. . He turned back to Silver, his tail wagging. "I'm happy you found your father! I would have never guessed it was him." He said, his mind flashing to Lean and her pups. He turned his head towards Shadow. "And congratulations to you." He said, panting happily. It seemed that all this moment was missing was River to tell the father-daughter pair how cute they looked together. He was sure that when they got back to Raven pack, she would. |

Noctus | M | Hunter | Raven | M: Arashi. Noctus grinned when she retorted after his comment. He watched her lean into a more even, a softer pace, slower. He slowed down, too early to crush the fun. He watched her for a moment, she seemed so at ease. He felt a little spark in his chest. Now was not the time. He narrowed his eyes, would she even hear if he said something? Turns out she would. As she sped up, so did he. He leaned in, gaining on her till she pulled up a halt that he was way unprepared for. He skidded a few feet behind her and then half onto his chest. He shook himself off as he bounced to his paws. Arashi hadn't noticed his fall. Good. He flicked an ear and followed her still gaze. His breath was mildly taken back. Deja vu crossing his mind. This wasn't his first time here but he barely remembered the first time. He'd been a lot smaller, and if he remembered correctly, it'd been Arashi by his side then too. With their mentors anxiously nearby watching them. Though he remembered the town being just a little further away.. or was that his imagination? His tail wagged at her comment about the view. "Its not the only view here." He flirted cheekily, gazing back at the trees and grass of the meadow below without much further thought. His ears wedged forward. |

Aster | F | Hunter | EMP | M: Veracious, Storm, Sorrel, Marbled. Aster narrowed her eyes at them, Storm looked anxious. But she knew where they were. She grinned slightly as they slipped under a branch. Her ears turned as she heard Marbled's voice. Her and Sorrel had made it first! Youngsters. She grinned as they slipped into camp from a different side. She maneuvered the deer toward the kill-pile. She stretched out a bit after they'd let go. She stretched her jaw too. "Good job you two.. I'm Aster by the way, welcome to the pack." She said sweetly and nimbly wandered off, into a den it seemed, her eyes on the look out for someone in charge. She hadn't seen Hondo, Killjoy or Rags since the night before! Right? She hoped they would be alright. |
