F & M | Scout & Hunter | Raven Pack | Mentions: Night, Anya [Ind.]
Despite still digesting the fact that the friend he had been looking for was right here with his pack, Rowan did his best to concentrate on Night. At the very least he was able to put a neutral face on, knowing if he missed anything Talia would fill him in. She, on the other, hand, was looking at Night intently, listening to every word. His sister, in all his life, had always taken pack matters seriously, giving them her full attention.
The female's ears twitched and then fell back for a moment at the mention of the loss of two of their pack members, though she silently wished them the best. Her ears came back up though at the mention of Bardou's promotion and she nodded inwardly at herself, she was knew but Bardou seemed like a wolf who could do the role as Beta very well.
At the mention of the foxes, though, Talia felt her lip twitch for a fraction of a second. Neither of the pair were fond of foxes, but they were loyal, if the order was not to attack the foxes, none would come to harm from them. "Understood. Foxes are apart of Shadow's Pack, and will be treated as such," at her words Rowan nodded the affirmative, so that Night would know she spoke for them both.
Her ears perked forward when the Alpha continued, talking about how Laan and Bardou went with the other Alpha to secure a pact with the pack of Dogs. Laan was one of her fellow Scouts and one of the wolves she had been able to build a mild friendship with prior to her and her brother's mission. Truthfully, Talia was excited to be back with the pack and continue building relationships with the wolves in it.
"Is there anything you need or would like us to do? Or," she glanced at Rowan, knowing he'd want to go and spend time with Anya, "even just me? I know my brother has just been reunited with a friend he's been looking for awhile, but I'm free and able bodied, and happy to help where ever." Talia, as always, was trying to ensure her brother was happy and willing to take on a work load herself.
Finally, Rowan spoke up. "Anya.. is she apart of this pack? Or Shadow's pack?" The confusion on his face showed he was worried she was apart of his own pack and he had been so negligent he hadn't notice. A soft frown appeared on Talia's face, seeing the coming guilt that Rowan no doubt was going to feel, believing he hadn't looked hard enough for her if she had been in the vacinity this entire time. |

River | F | Lead Hunter | Raven | M: The pack(ind), Astro, NPC's (turned characters), Ash(ind), Sundown River finally made it to the steep path up to camp before turning back to wait for the patrol to catch up to her. Shiva had finally stopped barking at the others except for the occasional, "One direction, not that direction!" The group finally caught up to them and from the look on Shiva's face, River held back a chuckle. Shiva gave her a glare before sighing, "I've been in the queen's den too long and Aquila was soft on them." River finally let out the chuckle before nodding, "She pretty much let us do our own thing and form our own groups."
Shiva rolled her eyes before barking, "Okay, listen up! I want to in front and two behind. Each of you grab a leg. I will grab the horns. It is going to be simple. We will brush our pelts on the cliff wall when we go up and pull it along with us. If it goes over the edge too far to pull up, let it go and we'll try it again." Once everyone nodded, Shiva grabbed the horns and waited for them to get into position. River quickly started up the trail so she wouldn't get in their way. Following the path up, she listened to the dragging behind her before getting to the top. Sniffing the air, she found that Ash's scent did go to Sundown's den but also two new ones on the air.
Ah yes, Talia and Rowan. The newest siblings to join the pack, well, before Ash that is. River expected their patrol to have similar aspects to her own experience today. Meanwhile, while she was in her thoughts, Shiva got her patrol up the trail with no glitches. Pulling the yak to the center of the clearing where the food pile was, they set it down next to it before Shiva announced, "We are going to eat well tonight!" Nodding her head, she headed over to River before saying er--demanding more likely, "You need to go see Sundown. The sooner your better, the sooner we can go fishing."
River flattened her ears at her before rolling her eyes in a playful manner. "Alright alright. Don't get in trouble while I'm in there." River said, turning to head towards the medic's den. "Me? Trouble? I seem to only be in trouble when your around." Shiva called after her and River looked back to see her sit down by the entrance to the hunter's den. Shaking her head, she slipped into the medic's den and sat down next to Sundown before saying quietly, "I just need a poppy seed so I can get some rest. I got thrown by a yak so my back hurts a bit." She looked past him for Ore, but found her nowhere in the den and her scent was stale. She must be out foraging for herbs, but River hadn't seen her on her hunt. |

Icicle | F | Fox | Shadow Forest | M: Anya, Bri, Talia & Rowan(ind) Icicle was almost asleep when she scented Anya and felt her curl up around her. At her words, Icicle lifted her head so she wouldn't disturb the sleeping pup before shaking it quickly. "No, no, I'm not mad at you. It's. . .just me." She said before going silent. After a few moments, she sniffled before saying quietly, "Your just so happy with your own kind and I'm happy that you are but it also just makes me sad since I can't be that way with my own kind."
Without really knowing it, she started to ramble, sniffing every so often, "Wolves are pack species, you feel happier with each other and in large groups. Foxes are lone creatures and aren't the most sociable. I grew up around Shadow and foxes, so the only thing I know is groups which makes me awkward around foxes because even though we're the same species, I feel so different. Frost likes being alone, I hate it. Mist likes traps and hurting others, I like traps but not the ones that hurts anyone. I guess you could call them pranks to that extent. Any fox I've met is willing to leave a dying animal to die. I can't. And when I try to make friends, I get left behind because I'm. . .a fox. And a fox shouldn't be trusted."
Icicle went silent again, her ears flattening against her head where they almost looked invisible. She was almost pure white now so they had no trouble blending in with the rest of her fur. She carefully unwrapped herself from Bri so she could curl into a ball without hurting the pup. Her biggest secret had just been told and she wasn't quite sure how to respond to it. |

Noctus | M | Hunter | Raven | M: River, Shiva, Arashi, Sundown, NPCs. Noctus and the patrol who'd been sent to help haul a yak back to camp swept down to the carcass, immediately greeted by Shiva's friendly tone to River tone. He brushed against Arashi, mostly because he could, a slight nip on her shoulder playfully as they kinda lined up while Shiva was preparing what he assumed was a commanding speech, though River was the new lead hunter. He had no issue though, Shiva was very capable of leading patrols and disciplining. He alertly stiffened, his attention turned to Shiva's commands now. I'm more of a front puller. Probably. Whatever that is. He thought to himself, moving off to grab a front leg without hesitation. He waited till everyone was ready before he started pulling. His full weight in this. He realized he might slip, distributing his weight differently after that realization. He used his claws more, rubbing against the wall as they worked together to drag a huge yak up to camp. Yak! What even is it! There was so much hair everywhere it'd be like a twenty deer hides all together by the looks of it. The leg barely fit well in his maw but that just meant he had no room to complain about it. He felt a little ache in his back shortly before camp but tried not to let it hinder his work. Watching all the faces around, then the yak, then the faces, then at the view. He was beginning to get bored. But luckily camp was waiting for him just up this ledge. They collectively brought it to kind of the center of camp. He stepped back to finally gaze at how damn huge it was. He'd never seen one in person before. Let alone not actively trying to make him an ancestor. He stretched, trying to get the hitch out of his back. He chose a spot on the ground to rub off the yak's scent because it was quite overpowering. Pushing his muzzle around on the grass and doing an awkward dance to get it all off. He didn't get it all, but enough to scent that Talia and Rowan were back in one piece! He hoped they had a good eventful trip. Why were they gone? He couldn't tell ya a thing of what they might've done right then. He hopped away- literally it was a bit ridiculous- and quickly pit-stopped in more grass to throw himself around on it for a minute. He got to his feet and zeroed in on Arashi, casually walking over. He leaned his muzzle down to eye her weirdly as he passed. He wanted to play. He turned around in an immediate playbow and jumped at her, wrestling her over and kinda rolling right over her and left himself vulnerable. He scurried off, looking rather offended. Or winded. Or both. He plopped down, panting lightly. |

Night | M | Alpha | Raven | M: Talia, Rowan, Hunting Patrol(ind) At Talia's words, Night paused to think before Rowan spoke up. He listened to the question before giving a shake of the head, "Anya is not one of our pack. She recently joined Alpha Shadow's pack and in good timing too." He stopped for a moment before continuing softly, "I would be a bit gentle with her too. Not only has she gone through the transition of joining a pack and then coming here to find lost loved ones, but she is now a mother. She was recently with a pup so I would not directly go up to the den. The foxes are a bit protective as well."
He turned back to Talia before saying, "I would like you to come with me on patrol. It will be just me and you. I have a nagging feeling on something else, but I need to figure it out. You can tell me about the ups and downs of your journey along the way if you want, or..." Night gave her a small smile, "you can ask questions about the packs as you are still new to all of this. There has indeed been big changes and Shadow's pack works a bit differently than ours does. As for you Rowan," He turned to the male, giving him a nod, "You can go see Anya for a while before seeing if River needs you for anything. She is the new Lead Hunter so I'm sure she has something for you all to do."
He looked past the two as said wolf disappeared into the medic's den. Shiva and the patrol dragged a huge creature, a bit bulkier than a moose into the center of the clearing. Shiva had sat down next to the yak, clearly waiting. "Or you can go hunting with Shiva after bit. I doubt you have seen much of her as she has been in and out of the queen's den." Night suggested before flicking his tail, waiting for their responses. |

Anya | F | Member | SFP | M: Icicle and Rowan(ind) Anya listened to Icicle, every once in a while flicking her ears forward to make sure Rowan wasn't coming. They hadn't seen eachother for a while, but she was pretty sure he wasn't very fond of foxes. Plus, there was still the fact of Brielle. When she realized she was pregnant she basically just distanced herself from her family and him. It hurt, but she was too scared at the time to tell the truth. Anya knew she could trust him, but she was just too scared. Then the humans came, and what she thought would only be a little time apart, became alot of time apart. She always wondered what Rowan thought while she was away, but it seemed she would find out. But she also would have to give answers too. He deserved answers, so Anya intended to give them to him, even if it scares her to death. . Once Icicle stopped talking, Anya glanced at Flame. She didn't know how to make her friend feel better and wished she had some help. After a minute of thinking Anya finally decided on what to do. It mighy not make her feel better, but she would tell the truth and hope that it would. "Honestly, even though i pretend, i sometimes dont feel like i fit in. Im super scared for my lesson with Shadow because i dont like hurting anyone when others kill for food almost every day. Even if it is for food, or protection i still dont really like it. Moss balls and fish are one thing, but once it comes down to the actual killing, i wont want to do it. And im used to fish because my mother always fished, but anyways, yeah. And like i told Flame when we first met, i like smaller groups. I grew up in a small pack, and even if i think big packs are magical, they can be overwhelming." . She paused for a second, taking a minute to catch her breath before continuing. "The reason why i ran up here is because my pup-hood friend is somehow here. Ive missed him very much, and im pretty sure he missed me. He's kinda like me, he dosent like to fight and so we get along well...atleast we did. I dont know about now. But anyways, that's why i got all excited. I may not be a fox, but i will always want to be your friend. Your kind, and funny, and a good friend, anyone who doesn't see that is a weirdo." She said, finishing with a smile. But even with her smile, she still felt bad. Anya felt like it was her fault Icicle was upset, even if she didn't say it. |

Arashi | F | Hunter | Raven | M: Shiva(ind), NPC's(ind) and Noctus Arashi countinued to pull the yak as the time seemed to drag on. Even if she didn't show it, she was getting quite annoyed at Shiva and the other hunters. The other hunters, besides Noctus, kept messing up, and Shiva kept barking out commands, louder and louder. After a while Arashi decided to use all her strength to try to keep the yak on track. That helped a bit, but not as much as she would have liked. It was mostly just wearing Arashi out more, but she didn't dare stop and fall into Shiva's wrath. About halfway there, the female wolf glanced at Noctus. He seemed bored, which didn't surprise her. Arashi was getting a bit bored too. But of course, she just kept quiet and countinued on with her duty. . After what seemed like hours, they finally made it back to the base of camp. Now all they had to do was get it up to camp. Arashi let go of the yak for a second, catching her breath while Shiva and River talked. By the end of this trip, it seemed her and Noctus was doing all the work. Arashi didn't mind much though, it kept Shiva mostly quiet. Arashi completely ignored her friends antics before she flicked her gaze upon Shiva who was again barking orders. She couldn't fully blame her though, rhe other hunters were acting like babies. Arashi nodded before taking her spot up in the front by Noctus. She brushed up against his pelt lightly before using all her strength to pull the yak up the path. Were the other hunters even trying now? . Despite Arashi's growing annoyance, they got the yak up to camp without any problems. While Noctus stepped back to gaze at the huge creature, Arashi just stepped a few feet away before laying down and catching her breath. She had spaced out for a second, but the sound of a bigish wolf rolling around like a crazy person pulled her to reality. She looked around for the source of the sound and soon her gaze fell upon her weirdo friend. Even though she was quite amused, Arashi just stared at him like he was crazy. Which he was, but only she could call him that. Once he decided he was done acting like a goofball and headed toward Arashi, she got to her feet. She knew Noctus good enough to know what was next. When the male eyed her weirdly, Arashi just glared at him. Though, it wasn't really a glare, more like a look that said, 'Your too predictable. Get it done with already.' . Just like Arashi guessed, Noctus turned around and playbowed. Then he jumped at her. However, Arashi was ready and she twisted in a way that made him basically roll over her. As Arashi got up with a smirk, Noctus scurried away. He then plopped down, panting lightly. Arashi, now in a slightly playful mood, went over to him. She nipped his ear before jumping away. "Tired already, eh?" She asked playfully as she layed down infront of him. She was far enough away he had to get up to do anything, but still could probably pin her...maybe. "Those hunters were slacking very much, im pretty sure we did all the work." She said with a sigh, glancing over at the yak. |

|Killjoy|M|Alpha|Eastern|M: SUP, Shadow, Laan, Bardou| Killjoy silently walked next to Shadow. He was thinking about what he would have to say to the Stray's pack. I wonder how much it's grown... He thought, glancing at the Beta and Scout that had went with him. Should he have brought his own Beta or Scout? He then realized that he hadn't seen Rags in a while... Should he assume her dead? . He paused as Shadow howled. They were getting close... His ears perked as they saw the first dogs. He let Shadow do the talking, not really wanting to mix things up with the other Alpha. . He sat down, his brown and black tail wrapped around his black paws. He looked around the pack, it seemed to have grown. His blue gaze found two dogs that looked like they could be brothers, in fact, they most likely were.. . Once his gaze had swept around the pack, and watched Shadow and Alha leave. His looked at the only other familier face in the crowd; Shalha. He gave her a friendly smile, before turning back to where Shadow and Alha were talking. . Soon enough, they came back, and he stood up, tail wagging slightly. His ears were perked, and his eyes were shinning. Once Shadow had introduced the three wolves to the pack, he smiled, and nodded his head. "It's very nice to meet you all. I hope that everyone gets along." He glanced at Shadow, expecting him to be disapointed. . His gaze turned back towards the pack, looking around. They don't seem like they would be very good hunters, but I could be wrong. He thought, looking for any hunter type dogs. He saw one of the two brothers walk over to an assummed Queen, and lay down. How sweet. . Once Shadow was done talking, he walked over to the other brother. "Hello! How are your hunting skills?" He asked, his face relaxed, hoping that he didn't come off a rude. |

|Sundown|M|Medic|Raven|M: Ash, River| Sundown listened to Ash, very closely. "Hmm, so you hurt your leg?" He said, stepping closer to get a look. If he can walk on it, then it shouldn't be broken.. He thought, looking up and down it. It wasn't at a weird angle, nor seemed to be swelling too much. . After a bit, he stepped back. "It appears that you just sprang your leg. Here's a poppy seed. You need to rest-" He was cut off by the younger male. He gave him a glare. "Well. If you want to cut me off like that, you clearly don't want my help." He said, standing up, and nosing a poppy seed towards him. . He then turned his rump away, before turning back, hearing River come in. "Sure." He said, pushing one towards her. "Nice and easy." He said, glancing over at Ash. . "Um.. What's a Yak?" He asked, ignoring the male that had spoke over him. |

|Astronomy|M|Hunter|Raven|M: River, Shiva| Astro was nervous for his packmates to haul the beast up the path. He could see someone falling off, and getting hurt. He then rolled his eyes. He was getting soft. Since when was he worried about his packmates?
His ears flattened slightly, and he scowled. He stopped, and turned around, giving them all a nasty glare before walking on. . Once they arrived back to camp, he glared around, looking for something to do while River went to the Medic's den. He sat down outside of his den, and watched Shiva's group pull the Yak into camp. Ha, they all look so dumb. He thought, but in the back of his mind, he knew he would look the same way. . He watched the two other Hunters play. He gave them an annoyed look, and stood up. He scoffed and walked over to sit next to Shiva. I wish I could play like that without getting judged. I am far too old to be acting the way I do. He thought, his eyes narrowed, gaze spaced out, staring at nothing. . He shook his head from one side to the other, clearing all of the thoughts running through his head. He turned to Shiva. "So, how is it being out of the Queen's den?" He asked. He wanted to say how sorry he was for her loosing her pups, how hard it must be, and that he was glad to see her doing better, but something in him kept him from doing it. He wasn't sure if it was him not wanting to bring up painfull memories, or him trying to be cold. . He turned to watch her as she spoke. His face was soft, and he nodded. |
