Icicle | F | Fox | Shadow Forest | M: Anya Icicle's ears twitched before she unwrapped herself to look at Anya as the female finished, "We will always be friends! I don't let go of friends very easily." She went silent for a moment before saying quietly, "Just because you learn how to fight doesn't mean you have to use it. Same goes with hunting. But what you do need to figure out is which is more scary." Icicle sat up before moving Bri closer to her mother.
"When your hunting, which is more important? The deer's life, or your pack's well-being? Without food, a pack will starve and in winter, the river ices over making it impossible to fish." Icicle said before lowering her voice into a quiet whisper, "And when your fighting, which is more important? Your opponent's well-being or your own? Without you, what about Bri? None of us have milk to give her and she's nowhere near changing to regular food. In a fight, you don't have to kill the creature, you just have drive them away from your pack."
Icicle then perked up, "Why do you think us foxes set traps? We don't like fighting ourselves. With traps, it gives us that extra layer of defense that we don't have to do ourselves. So yes, learn how to fight. It doesn't mean you have to." Icicle then looked away, mumbling mainly to herself, "Besides, that's what we have Shadow for." |

River | F | Lead Hunter | Raven | M: Sundown, Ash(ind) River waited patiently as Sundown ignored Ash and pushed over a poppy seed for her. She gave Ash a pointed look before hearing Sundown's question. River turned back to him before answering, "Well, it's like about as big as a moose and covered with long hair. If you want to take a look, it's right outside. I think it also has more meat than a moose too. It also has big horns instead of antlers." She tried to explain it before shaking her head. She grabbed the poppy seed, swallowing it quickly before moving outside, beckoning Sundown to follow before nodding towards the prey pile. "That's a yak." She said, holding back a chuckle. It looked even bigger now that it was in the light. |

Ash | M | Apprentice | Raven | M: Sundown and River After Tailia had left, Ash turned his attention back to Sundown. He didn't need any help, thank you. Nevertheless, he ate the poppy seed. At River's look, Ash sighed and mumbled, "Thank you...and im sorry," before getting up. He heard Sundown's question but knew there was no point in answering, for the male obviously was ignoring him. With a nod towards River, Ash limped out of the den. He exited the medic's den just in time to see two wolves play. He wasn't sure what their names were, but it seemed like alot of fun. Of course he was in no condition to play, and why would he play with strangers anyway? . Once the two were laying down, Ash turned away from them and sniffed the air. It seemed Anya was in a den with a pup, the fox and the elder. The pup smelled strangely like Anya, but that would be impossible. He shook his head, trying to rid the thoughts. Ash then limped over to the hunters den and walked in. He walked into the corner and layed down. He wasn't taking Sundown's advice, he was just...tired. Anya | F | Member | SFP | M: Icicle Anya was secretly releaved she hadn't messed things up as Icicle responded. She listened intently, trying to find out what she meant. However, she did break focus for a second to wrap Brielle up. The pup began drinking as Anya refocused on Icicle. When Icicle explained, Anya suddenly felt alot better. The fox was right, she had to choose. She had no idea why that made her feel better, but it did. The pack is more important. Anya answered silently. Shadow has been so kind to spare my life, Flame's been amazing to help me and Icicle, well she's my forever friend, they are more important. . Brielle is definitely more important. Anya answered silently again. And maybe im important too...Im probably important to Rowan anyway. Anya then listened to Icicle, nodding. "That makes sense." She did hear what Icicle mumbled to herself but didn't know what to say so she acted like she didn't. After a minute of silence, Anya smiled. "Hey! Im supposed to be helping you, not the other way around." Anya said playfully, pawing Icicle's shoulder gently. |

Shiva | F | Hunter | Raven | M: Noctus & Arashi(ind), Astronomy Shiva watched the two hunters play with a neutral face. She was surprised they had energy after pulling the yak back, considering those two were the only ones to really help her. The other hunters disappeared somewhere and Shiva shook her head. Astro came over to sit next to her and they sat in silence for a bit before Astro broke the silence. At the question, she gave a look at him before giving a contented sigh.
"It's much better than that stuffy cave. I'd rather be out hunting, even if it is cold and wet than inside a den." Shiva said, keeping it short and sweet. She then raised an eyebrow at Astro, "Would you rather be stuck in a den for two weeks or outside getting in trouble?" Shiva teased him, knowing full well he would rather be getting into trouble than stuck in a den. |

Apollo | M | Scavenger | SUP | M: SUP, Patrol, Killjoy. Apollo glanced over at Comanche who was calmly acting as a sentinel for the queen. He admired his brother, he'd been the braver of the twins always, just less outgoing. He tilted his head toward the wolves. Killjoy was certainly welcoming! That put him more at ease, was he comin- He looked at Killjoy, his ears laid back slightly. "It's been a long time since my brother or I have needed to hunt, The streets don't give much for prey other than a bird or mouse." He hesitated, visibly thinking back. "When we got loose from our human before we found the town we got pretty good at hunting rabbits. But a deer was a bit daunting to us. I'm Apollo by the way." He said with a cheerful tone, his tail wagging. "What all do you guys hunt in the valley?" He was genuinely curious of their new surroundings, his head tilting again. |

Noctus | M | Hunter | Raven | M: Arashi, Shiva, NPCs. Noctus was very unappreciative of the ease she took when dodging his attack. He'd definitely have to change up his strategy. He narrowed his eyes at her tease. "I'm not tired. You're tired." He looked a little offended and sat up to glance around the placid camp. Snow on the air. It was quite comforting to be here. Thankfully no longer hauling the yak. He rolled his eyes at her complaint, as expected. He stretched his front legs. "It didn't help that Shiva was telling us to go the wrong way a lot," He grinned, Shiva was great and it was hilarious and frustrating at the same time. "Maybe they weren't slacking and we are just so strong we carried the whole thing!" He chuckled, rolling over to reach out and kick Arashi without standing up, enciting play. "You look, so strong." He said in a charming tone, scrambling to his feet with his tail wagging as if it was the first thing he'd done ever. He glanced around. "I wanna hunt but we probably won't need any food for a day or two. What fun things can we do?" He spoke probably way too fast but Arashi was probably way too used to it by now. She'd had to grow up around his excited, puppylike behaviour anyway. He playbowed, and stared her down, trying to come up with some kind of plan that didn't involve disturbing anyone or breaking something. Or hunting or leaving camp. |

Arashi | F | Hunter | Raven | M: Noctus "Sure." Was all Arashi said to answer Noctus' 'comeback'. When she saw his slightly offended expression, she sighed. Sometimes she wasn't the greatest at knowing when to keep her trap shut. Unless she's with others that aren't her friends, then she's always quiet. Or maybe it wasn't the tease at all, maybe he was a bit upset at how easily she dodged him. Whatever it was, Arashi was glad when Noctus moved on and didn't seem offended anymore. Even though she didn't act like it, she hated hurting/upsetting Noctus. "You roll your eyes but then you say it didn't help that Shiva was telling us to go the wrong way?" Arashi said, raising an eyebrow. She couldn't help though but have a playful grin. . Arashi then chuckled as Noctus made a joke before trying to kick her. She leaned in slightly, but he still couldn't reach her. When he began to try and flirt Arashi stopped leaning and just rolled her eyes, keeping her face neutral. Inside though, she liked the compliment. "We definitely dont need to hunt." Arashi replied, thinking, and glad to be off the flirting topic. "Besides, even if we did, i dont think i have enough energy to hunt something. We could take a nap, since im tired." She then grinned, "But i understand if you dont want too." Arashi was used to her friend's fast speech. Since she grew up with it, she could understand him quite easily. And she's pretty good at understanding muffled and quiet talk. All thanks to Noctus. . Arashi then got to her feet and returned Noctus' playbow. She jumped at him but at the last second, jumped away, hopefully faking him out. She grinned at him, wagging her tail. She then did it again, but this time she nipped his ear and sprinted down the path out of camp. "Catch me if you can!" She barked, her tail held high. It had been a while since she raced him, but she was pretty sure she could beat him. |

The pair listened quietly as their Alpha spoke taking in his words. While Talia remained visibly neutral, seemingly unbothered by his words as she took them in. On the other hand, Rowan kept the emotion of his feelings off his face, but he couldn't keep it from his ears.
As Night graciously answered his question about Anya, Rowan at first visibly relaxed, before tensing again at the mention of her recently being with pup. His ears fell a bit once more and he nodded in response as he tried to understand what he had been told. Anya had a pup? So she had a mate. He hadn't been expecting that, but it was the way of wolves. They found mates and settled down within a pack.
Talia, wanting to take any attention off of her brother quickly spoke up in agreement. "A patrol sounds great. It'll let me get caught up and refamiliarize with the territory," she nodded, and rose to her feet, giving her brother a gentle nudge from him to start exiting the den. "I'm sure my brother will sort himself out, don't worry about him," she offered, successfully leading her brother out of the den with gentle guidance. "I imagine a hunt would do him some good," she said, and pointedly looked at Rowan.
"A hunt? Oh yes. Of course. I'll get in touch with River or Shiva. See if i can be a help to either of them," he answered, his eyes refocusing as he inhaled the fresh air now that they were out of the den. "I'll see you later, Tal," he offered and then trotted off to find one of the females in question. |

Night | M | Alpha | Raven | M: Rowan(ind), Talia, Astro(ind) Night watched Rowan's reaction, flicking an ear curiously at his response but staying quiet. At Talia's words, he nodded before heading towards the entrance of his den. He turned back to listen to Rowan before nodding. Shiva would be easy to find, if you knew what she looked like that was, as she was sitting with Astro in front of the hunter's den. River, on the other hand, had just emerged from the medic's den.
Night watched Rowan walk off before turning back to walk towards the exit. Once Talia came to walk with him, he said, "We'll start with the western border. I do not believe you met our medic Ore but she left sometime after the hunt to forage and has yet to come back." Once down the steep cliff, he paused before taking off towards the western border. He ran for a bit, weaving through the trees for a bit before sliding to a halt as they reached the border. He paused, flicking his tail as he looked down the ridge. The valley opened up below him which is where all the new prey would be coming from.
He frowned though, sniffing around the border and the air. He hadn't smelled Ore at all. He sat down to rest for a bit, letting Talia rest nearby as well. Night closed his eyes, his ears flat against his head, the only sign that he was distressed. The only upside of the situation and his thoughts was that Shadow was not here. Sometimes, the other alpha could see right through him. He frowned even deeper at the thought before sighing to himself. Now that his thoughts were on Shadow, he had been noticing that even though Shadow had accepted his role as alpha, there was something underlaying him. Something Night had not seen since a year ago. He only hoped that it wasn't because of Shadow's lost loved ones this time.
Which brought him to another matter, with prey had to come predators. They might not just have a human problem, but a predator problem. Night finally shook himself out of his thoughts before turning his attention to Talia, "How are you doing? And I don't mean how was your trip, but how are you? Coming back into the pack with so many different factors that you are not used to can be stressful." He asked, watching her and waiting for her reply. |

Frost & Loki | M | Fox & Dog | M: Makena, Humans(ind) Loki came to a halt before flicking his tail. Frost tapped Makena on the shoulder before placing his bundle down by a tree. "Put the flowers down here. We'll use them on the other beehives when we meet up with Shadow." Frost said quietly before making his way over to Loki. Loki flicked his ears, so he wouldn't bother his load, towards the structure they were now in front of. "Okay, we're going to need a distraction. Mist, do you think--" Frost started, turning towards Mist to find her gone.
A loud crash made him jump and whirl only to see Mist in a tree, cackling down at the humans. The humans that were in the structure rushed out and Frost pinned himself to the ground so he wouldn't be seen. Loki hid behind a tree before poking his head back out. Frost nodded to the male before grabbing a few branches. Loki snuck inside the structure before jumping onto a desk. Reaching up, he placed the bees nest that was starting to hum into the roof panel before Frost jumped onto his back to place the sticks. The sticks would ensure that the bees nest would not fall off the small ledge and keep it steady.
Loki quickly jumped down, slipping outside but Frost did not follow. Instead, he let out a loud scream that sounded much like one of the female humans. Only a fox, he would laugh to see one of the others humans try it. The bees, now coming awake started buzzing above him. Frost pushed open a window before jumping down, meeting up with Loki in the bushes. Looking around for Makena, he yipped to Mist who was still taunting the humans before grabbing the bundle of thorns. Mist grabbed the flowers gently before scampering ahead of the group.
Instead of following, Frost waited until the humans were inside the structure again. Then he flung the leaf up and the bundle came undone. The thorns, now free from the leaf, scattered around the construction site. They would hear pained shouts soon once it got busier. Frost then turned, catching up to Mist to catch her up on what they were doing.
Loki came up beside Makena before saying quietly, "I'm Loki, I don't believe we have met. How do you know Frost?" He looked curious but also kept a slow stride in his pace to keep with the group. He knew they would be meeting Shadow and whatever other wolf came with him at the camp which was a bit aways from where they were. Enough time to start a friendly chat. |
