Oh? Well that was certainly quite rude. While he was not only getting glares and suspicious looks from the other two, she had now completely turned away from him and was sitting next to the young man. The little spitfire was certainly a difficult one to get the attention of. She also seemed to get increasingly agravated and stubourn. But he wasn't willing to give up just yet. He was going to get her name one way or another. So with slow, quiet steps, he made his way around to where she could see him again, and moved slightly closer before finally speaking. "Darling you do realise it's considered rude to ignore someone who is trying to have a conversation with you..." He started with a smirk before finishing. "...don't you?"

Elara's blood was boiling at this point. He just couldn't take a hint now could he? She finally looked him in the eyes and glared at him. He had only been here for less than an hour and he was already managing to piss her off. Standing up abruptly, she dropped the rod and walked right up to him till she was practically in his face. Or at least as close as she could get due to the large height difference. "I'm being rude....IM BEING RUDE?!" Elara shouted, finally having the last straw with this guy already. "You're the one who just walked right up like you owned the place assuming we would let you in, and now you have the AUDACITY to say that I'm being rude?!" She was not going to let this newcomer walk all over her thinking he could just accuse her of being the rude one when his behavior proved otherwise. "Alright then, let's have a god damn conversation! What the fuck could you possibly be so determined to talk to me about, when we don't even know each other?!" Elara was not by any means a hot head, and she normally wasn't so short tempered, but guys like him always managed to piss her off in one way or another. So she simply stood there fuming, and lord help him if his next words weren't the ones she was looking for.

Amara looked over when she heard Elara yelling and watched, ready to step in if she needed to. Her eyes were narrowed slightly before she looked at James and Alex again. "If yall dont head out now, both of you will be forced to skip breakfast. This is the second time I'm telling you to head out and scout. Now go!" She saw James getting antsy as he waited for Alex.

Alastor couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the short little thing that was yelling at him. She looked so angry but the sheer height difference made it all the more amusing to him. He was well aware that there was likely others watching now, but he didn't really care if they were or not. At that moment, he had her full attention, which made now to be just about the perfect moment to finally get her name. So, he slowly leaned down, so that their faces were closer together. He could see her mismatched eyes more clearly now, as well as the fire that seemed to burn within them. For a long moment he simply stayed like that, staring into her eyes with a smirk on his face until he finally spoke in a smooth, even, and calm voice. "No need to cause such a scene darling..." He practically purred out the little pet name in an attempt to get a small reaction from her before continuing. "All I wanted to ask for was your name."

He laughed.... he laughed at her!?!?!? Did he really find it that funny?! As he leaned down, and their faces came closer together, she couldn't help but feel slighlty akward. She didn't like the proximity, but she refused to back down to him of all people. Then there was that stupid little pet name again. His voice was smooth, as he said it, causing her body to betray her slightly as a light dusting of pink covered her cheeks. She just prayed that in the dim light it wouldn't be noticable. Then, after a moment, he finally asked for her name. "My name.... If I tell you my name, you can not bother me for the rest of the morning... got it?!" She practically snarled. Elara didn't even bother to wait before responding. "Elara... my name is Elara..." Edited at May 13, 2021 08:39 AM by Day R Survivors

Hope watched, hand gripping her knife tightly. If the man made a move, he may find a new deformation in his arm, or he may not find his arm at all. Luke watched carefully as well. The young man was stronger than he looked when he wanted to be. He usually had a more quiet, passive approach, but if he needed to fight, he did it well. Hope handed him one of the throwing knives. "Not unless necessary." she said, and he nodded, even though he looked like he wanted to throw it at the man right at that second. Hope turned back and watched their interactions, eyes narrowing at the man.

Elara.... so that was the name of the fiesty little thing fuming infront of him. Her name certainly seemed to fit her, at least in his opinion it did. The light pink in her cheeks was slightly evident despite the faint lighting. There seemed to be a tensness in the air as he simply stood there with her. Finally, after a few moments of silence, his smirk finally broke into a large wolfish smile. "Well it's been a pleasure speaking with you Elara... I do hope that we get to speak with each other again soon." He said smoothly, but before he straightend himself back to his full height, he couldn't help but get the slight urge to rile her up just a tad bit more. So, he leaned forward slightly and whispered lowly in her ear almost purring. "And might I say you look adorable when you're blushing..." With that, he straightened himself back up, not waiting for a response as he turned and went to go sit down somewhere within the camp.

Lukas was watching carefully, and his keen ears picked up on the man's words. He got up once the man was going towards the camp, glaring daggers at his back, before going over to Elara. "You okay?" he asked softly, his electric blue eyes showing his concern. Hope walked back into the camp, sitting down and sharpening her knives, while keeping an eye on the man. 'What the hell does he want?' she thought, eying the man warily. 'He can't just walk in like he owns the place! He'll be trouble.' she added in her head, occasionally glancing around the camp to see who was still there. She hadn't gotten to know the people in the group extremely well yet, but she could recognize most of them by voice now.

Elara stood there for a moment, simply dumbfounded by what he had said. The blush only seemed to grow as his words sunk in. "You okay?" She heard Luke say as he came up beside her. Elara simply looked at him, her mouth partially open out of shock from what the newcomer had said. "He just..... I wasn't...." She stumbled over her words trying to get a grip of exactly what the newcomer had just said. It wasn't easy to get her this flustered. For a few moments she just kept looking at where the male had walked off and then back at Luke as she pointed slightly to where the male had walked off while slightly muttering slight nonsense. Mostly about how 'he couldn't'... and 'I wasn't just...'. Finally she looked back at Luke again, her mismatched eyes filled with confusion and slight worry as she for once had no idea what to do. So out of impulse, she wrapped her arms around him, not bothering to see whether or not he would hug her back, because at that moment, she just needed to hold something and Luke was the closest thing she had at that moment. She needed an achor to keep herself from being blown away in the whirlwind of thoughts as quietly, her voice slightly shaky, and almost inaudiable, she whispered. "Not again...."

Luke nodded, listening to her, even thought it was mostly just half formed sentences. When she got up and hugged him, he stumbled bit, surprised, then hugged her back. He hadn't hugged someone in a long time, much less someone had hugged him. He heard her whisper "Not again...." and wondered what she meant by that. He thought back to how the male and she were acting. Maybe she had met someone like that before, with the same attitude and such. He let out a soft sigh, not with any particular emotion but content. He wanted to help Elara but he couldn't quite figure out specifically how, so for now, he'd just be there for her. Hope had finished sharpening her knives and was now testing them against a tree, throwing them into the bark repeatedly, practicing. She didn't want another thing to happen like how those two racoons had gotten away earlier. Edited at May 13, 2021 02:23 PM by Lightning Chasers
