Alastor couldn't help but smile a little at the thought that they were all getting so riled up because of one person. Sure, from a distance his size could appear intimidating but what was he going to do to multiple people? Many of them had there weapons drawn while a few others were being woken up by the same figure he had spotted earlier. Letting a smirk form on his face, he steadily began to walk forward. His stride held confidence as he kept his hands folded behind his back. As he drew closer her playfully called out. "Is that anyway to greet someone? It may be the end times but that gives you lot no reason to be rude."

Hope had followed them back, although a bit behind, and now had her bow drawn, aiming at the older male. She growled "You never know who's friend or foe." she said, going over and standing protectively over Lukas, who woke up at that moment. "What's goin on?" he asked groggily as he saw her with her bow drawn, then saw the male and his eyes widened, and he quickly went over ot the others, staying low to the ground. "Who are you?" Hope called, looking at the over confident male. Edited at May 7, 2021 09:05 AM by Lightning Chasers

Elara gently shook Max awake, putting her finger ti her lips in a shushing motion before he could say anything. She could hear male saying something about greeting people and being rude. At this she steadily grabbed her bow and notched one of her arrows as she moved to silently stand beside Amara. Steadily drawing her bow back, she aimed point blank at the male's chest as he was walking toward them. Hope called out, asking who he was, but at that moment, his name was not her concern, she needed him to stop getting closer. Steadying out any shakiness that may have been in her voice, she called out. "Not another step!" Edited at May 7, 2021 09:51 AM by Day R Survivors

Alastor "Who are you?" One of the woman shouted. He was about to answer when another voice ordered that he didn't take another step. Considering that he had multiple people pointing some sort of long range weapon at him, and others looking ready to charge, he decided to listen as he halted in his movements. His eyes searched for the source of the command and they landed once more on the young looking female he had seen earlier. "Well you're quite demanding for such a little thing now aren't you?" He stated as his smirk grew slightly. Turning back to the one who had asked who he was, he responded. "My name is Alastor darling, and I would say it's lovely to meet all of you, if not for all the sharp objects pointed at me." Then he turned back to the bright haired belle who had ordered him to stop. "And I'm here to join your little group of misfits!"

Oh this guy was REALLY starting to piss her off now. First off, she was not little! That comment alone got him strike one in her book. Second, that stupid smirk on his face. Anyone with a facial expression like that just seemed flat out shady, which made for the second strike in her book. Lastly, something about him just felt wrong, he was too confident for someone in the end times, which made that three strikes...he was out... She lived by a few rules and one of them was... 'For those behind you, protect them. For those beside you, respect them. For those in front of you, defeat them.' While Elara may have never said it before, she respected Amara, so she held back her urge to shoot the man right then and there. Everyone stood waiting, and something told her she knew what they were waiting for, so she silently muttered to Amara. "It's your decision... we wait for your command...." Amara listened to the man as he spoke, not moving, though she was proud of the group for getting their weapons ready as quickly as they did. Her eyes were locked onto the male as she spoke. "With the world in chaos, and random people coming up to us, it's hard to know who to trust." She wasnt going to admit it, but she still had trust issues towards James due to him being rather lazy. "And walking up to our camp, isnt the smartest move to make" she added on coldly. "Tell me, what could you possibly add to the group to be helpful" she asked. While Amara usually allowed others in, it wasnt without some sort of trust test. She wouldnt add another mouth to feed if they couldnt help out the group in some way, it just wasnt fair to the others.

Alastor chuckled slightly, as he pulled his eyes off of the fiesty, bright haired woman and turned his attention to the blonde that now spoke to him. "In my defense, you lot are threatening me. I have yet to pull out any sort of weapon, and here you all are with yours acting like I'm the threat." He responded, a hint of ammusment in his tone. "Although.... if you really must have a reason..." Alastor stated as he took another slow stride forward. His eyes flicked to the fiesty bright haired belle again, then back to the blonde as he slowly took unclasped his hands from behind his back. He felt like the group tensed as he kept his movements slow and obvious, as he reached for the black hilt of his hunting knife. Slowly pulling it out of it's sheath, he let the tinted red blade gleam slightly in what little amount of light made it through the ash. "By the looks of it you could use something to help skin and chop up that meal of yours...." He started as he again took another, large slow stride closer. "But it may be better if you also had someone who actually knew how to use it..." Edited at May 7, 2021 01:03 PM by The Rift Seekers

(Rift, you mentioning the entire group tensing up is slight characfter control when they are not yours to control. And we have talked about your character already) / Amara kept her eyes narrowed as she prepared to let her arrow fly. "I suggest you stay back" she said, her voice cold as ice. "YOU came to OUR camp. We have a right to defend it. We dont know you, so we have a right to be ready to attack." She wasnt liking this male's attitude, and she wasnt sure if she could trust him with the way he was acting. *I wont put this group in danger, not when they need a proper leader* she thought as her blue eyes remained on him.

(Sorry, The character control there was unitentional and I appologise for that! I meant it more like it felt like the groups was tense not that they actually were, I can fix that in a moment if you would like. And yes I know, but don't worry, he's not crazy or anything, more like an overconfident pup that has yet to find his place in the pack. If you want I can dial it back a bit.) Alastor quickly halted his movements for a moment. This seemed like quite the skittish group. Slowly, not wishing to get shot he swung his arm and gave the blade a soft underhand throw so that it landed a few feet away from the blonde. He then slowly removed his satchel and under hand tossed a few feet infront of her as well. Carefully taking three large stride back away, he slowly raised his hands above his head. "I only wish to help... if you don't beleive be, go ahead and check my bag, you won't find anything of ill-intent." He said. All he had in his bag were a few strings to make traps for small game, a thin blanket, and a few books on plants and tracking that he had managed to salvage. In this state, he was defenseless and at their mercy. Edited at May 7, 2021 01:04 PM by The Rift Seekers

Elara simply glares at the male, ready to release her arrow if need be. Just because his hands were up and he threw his belongings infront of them, didn't mean they could trust him. She didn't like the way he had kept glancing at her either. Amara had yet to give the an order to attack or stand down, but at that moment, she was really hoping for attack, because this guy was making her mad on all sorts of different levels. She leaned a little closer to Amara and whispered so that that man couldn't hear. "Can I shoot him?"
