At the sound of his name being called, Alastor quickly turned his attention to the blonde. She quickly told him off for bothering the little belle and gave him a solid warning to back off and leave everyone be unless they needed help. Then made it clear that she wouldn't allow to let it slide if his behavior slipped again. He couldn't help but allow his eyes to narrow slightly at this, but he managed to maintain his usual lazy smirk as he shouted back. "My apologies but...incase you haven't noticed, none of you have really properly introduced yourselves. I swear that I meant no harm to the little darling, I was simply trying to find out her name. You can ask her yourself, she will likely tell you that I did nothing to try and hurt her!" His voice held confidence. He had nothing to worry about nor hide. The only way he could possibly get into any trouble was if little Elara lied about what had truly happened. He just hoped that someone would have seen and choose to back him up on his side of the story. Edited at May 15, 2021 09:40 PM by The Rift Seekers

"i think we will be ok" Tristan whispered to Iris. "just stay close and i will make sure you dont get hurt" he offered gently as he held his hand out to her. he was hoping that she would trust him and that they could make it to safety together. he knew that he would get hurt himself before he would allow her to get hurt.

Elara perked up at the sound of Amara yelling at Alastor. She felt a small smile creep up onto her lips knowing that at least someone else had noticed his annoying behavior. Sadly her hope dropped when Alastor mentioned that he hadn't hurt her in any way, and even went as far as to tell Amara that she could even vouch for him. Which was true, he hadn't hurt her in anyway, despite the fact that his comment had shaken her up a bit, he had no clue that it would, which meant he would not be at fault for it. She cursed under her breath as she shot a glare at the male. There was no way of getting him in trouble for it unless she lied about what happened, and she didn't like the thought of lying to Amara. Because she didn't deserved to be lied to, especially with all the stress of leading that she already had on her shoulders, plus she would likely find out eventually, and that would just get Elara into trouble. Although... that didn't mean she couldn't tell her own version of the story. Alastor had been exermely annoying, at least to her he was. Maybe she could get him into a little trouble for that.... a small smile grew on her face of the thought of Alastor being put in some sort of time out in the corner of the camp, and maybe if she was lucky, he wouldn't be allowed breakfast, which meant one less mouth to feed that morning....

Amara looked over, ignoring what Alastor said, and saw James walking back, once again in a bad mood. "GROUP MEETING" Amara called, glaring at James as she called out. She moved over to a rock and stood on it. "It's time I make good on my promise. Many times over I've told you all if you cannot help out, you will be exiled. It has been going on too long that James here has not only been lazy, but has also been rude to all of us at some point. From here on out, James, you are exiled from the group!" She narrowed her eyes and watched the shocked look appear on his face. Iris and Killian were both rather shocked as well to hear this.

Alex did not know what to say, and she hoped that Jame's actions would not result in herself being punished. she knew that he was not very helpful, but she didnt know if her being assigned to be with him would reflect badly on her. she hoped that the fact that she tried to help him, and brought back some supplies, would be enough to prove that she was a team player_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Tristan watched Iris closely. he didnt know why, but he wanted to protect her. he felt like he could help her feel safe if nothing else. so he tried his best to stay close to her so he could step in if he needed to.

Alastor stood their, quite surprised at the sudden exile. But by the sounds of it, this must have gone on for quite sometime. While he was now slightly worried about the possibility of being outcasted, he couldn't help but feel a hint of amusement from the looks on the young mans face. Although he knew better than to show it, he didn't want to risk being thrown out along with him when he had only just got here. So, he kept a straight face and watched on in silence.

Arya She was doing small tasks around the camp, mostly taking stock of the current supplies and figuring out how things would need to be rationed, especially with another mouth to feed. She was curious of the stranger, that Alastor. Arya was practically eyeing the man like a Christmas present. It wasn't everyday you meet someone new, especially now and days, so this was a rare treat! While she'd rather be speaking with the stranger he seemed rather content annoying Elara which, to Arya's utter amusement wasn't going to end soon. She pitied Alastor though, it was like poking a bear with a stick. All that could come of someone as cold as Elara was migraines. So Arya decided to make herself useful and while silently observing Alastor make his rounds, she took note of rations and supplies. Oh how if her Algebra Teachers from high school could see her now. Still not using what they taught her... It was at that thought that the group meeting was called. James was exiled. "No", was all she said in a hollow voice. She was silent for a few moments before speaking up again this time with a sense of righteous fury. "WE aren't sending James away... YOU are...While you are this group's leader what authority do you have to make a call like this?!? This is a human life we are discussing here!".

Amara looked at Arya. "Yes, I'm sending him away. But he has done NOTHING to help the group! I will not have us wasting our time or resources on someone not willing to help out. He's taking advantage of us and his attitude is not helping anything. This was something you all agreed to when joining and he hasnt kept his promise. It's time for him to leave." She glared at James again who rolled his eyes. "Whatever. You all are pathetic anyway" he said before he turned to leave, not bothering to even thank Arya for standing up for him.

Arya She glared at Amara, ready to begin arguing for James' case. 'He is a human life we are discussing here, even if we swore an oath we can't just throw him to the wolves', she thought. While yes the group had elected Amara leader, she shouldn't have been allowed to make these types of choices alone... To dictate the choices that could potentially result in death and suffering. She wasn't the confrontational type, but the silent challenge was noticeable. Ayra wouldn't stand for this. Amara and Elara, they were the obvious higher-ups in the groups pecking order and seeing as Amara's choice was to remove James, Elara would most likely follow suit. The others seemed to be conflicted, so maybe she could convince them to side with her... Maybe? "Whatever. You all are pathetic anyway". No, that maybe is a no. Her glare shifted to a deadpan with obvious hints of confusion and fury. What the hell was that idiot doing? 'Did he know he could potentially be throwing his life away?', she pondered. She simply stared at the man in silent questioning, confused about his choice to leave.

Elara nearly growled as she stood, and called out. "No Arya! WE are sending him away! YOU are just to naive to see that he is nothing but a damned burden! We all knew EXACTLY what the fuck we all signed up for, and he choose to not listen while the rest of us do everything, and we're all sick of it! Amara is just voicing what the rest of us have been thinking about, and I don't see anyone but your trying to get in the way of it! So you either listen, or you go with him! Take your damn pick!!!" Elara's eyes held anger within them. Arya was a nuisance, and her attempting to interfere with something so serious was not something that the group needed. She wasn't going to let that girl get away with it. So she gave her a choice, and now, she would have to live with either abandoning everyone for one life, or letting that one life die to remain with the others. A single thought ran through her head at that moment 'We must sacrifice the few to save the many...' Edited at May 18, 2021 09:16 PM by Day R Survivors
