Tristan put his arm lightly around Iris as the walked along. he was trying to protect her more than anything, and the tension in the air made him a bit nervous for her safety. he watched closely as they made their way through the breakfast line and eventually to a place to eat. he made sure to get quite small portions for himself, while giving slightly more to Iris. he was also careful to try not to limp as he walked.________________________________________________________________ Alex was as close to the back of the line as possible, only ahead of those who were instructed to eat last. she would also only take small portions of whatever was there. she was sure she didnt need as much food as the others would. (ps, was iris's name changed or was it a typo?) Edited at May 18, 2021 06:40 PM by Peace Bringers

(My phone is being stupid with it's changes. Its Iris still) / Killian smiled at Arya. "You're welcome" he said as he sat down near her, though still giving her her space. "I dont really have plans unless Amara sends me out again" he replied. "Though I wouldnt mind going out again." He gave a small shrug, not really understanding what Arya was asking. He ate slowly, savoring every bite. While it wasnt the high class food he had here and there before the Ring of Fire, Elara sure knew how to cook. / Iris sat quietly as she looked around. She didnt understand why others took smaller portions when there seemed to be enough food going about. Her green eyes watched each person, wondering what all would happen now that James was gone. She remembered how he wanted to leave her behind, and it had scared her, making it hard to know who she could trust.

(ok thanks) Tristan looked around as well. he was watching to make sure no one got out of line again. he knew it wasnt his job to punish anyone who misbehaved, but he also considered it his job to protect Iris now, and anyone else he felt needed it. he ate slowly, looking to Iris occasionally to make sure she was eating too. he was not that hungry, but he was trying to make everyone think he was fine. he assumed that he would be fine sooner or later, but he also had no time to worry or think about that. he needed to do his job to keep the others safe and alive. _______________________________________________________________________ When Alex got her food, she found an area to sit and eat alone. she didnt like having people watch her eat. she wanted to get done quickly as well, so she could get back to whatever job was next. having brought back the supplies she did, she felt a little better about their situation for now, but she knew that feeling could not last long. she just put her head down and ate her food, hoping to be left alone for the time being.

Arya Arya began eating what Killian offered to her, it was good despite her best wishes. She wanted to not like is... Elara made it after all... "Now that is petty, Arya", she grumbled to herself. It's not like Elara would poison it, she'd have poisoned the whole camp. She felt a twinge of happiness build in her when Killian said he was free for the day. Killian deserved it, he was always awful busy these past few days with Amara trying to find a new place to set up. Sometimes it just didn't feel fair with him being away and in danger all the time, but he was one of the most physically fit members of the group... It was his responsibility to the group she supposed, to be a provider. "... You don't suppose next time you go scouting or anything I could come along, if you don't mind that is?", she said slowly as if testing out the words. Arya nodded surely to herself. If her anger revealed anything to her, it was that she was weak. She would grow stronger by becoming a provider, being like Killian and making it her responsibility to make sure everyone is fed and safe. Besides, Killian could use someone to keep an eye on him. If he was going to put himself in danger all the time it was the least she could do.

Elara was silently thankful that Luke didn't push more for an answer as he helped her hand out food. As they did, she noticed how Amara's portion was slightly smaller again. Perhaps she was doing something much like how she was and eating less so the others had more. It wouldn't surprise her, although she was glad that Amara was still eating at least. Soon everyone had their meals as Elara handed one of the last portions to Luke, and then carefully scooped up the last of it for the newcomer. No breakfast for her today, but for her that wasn't unusual. Her loose flannel hid her thinning form well, as she simply gave a nod of thanks to Luke, and called out. "Aye! Newbie! It's your damn turn!" She then placed the peice of flat metal with his food on it, on one of the rocks and finally moved off to one of the taller piles of rubble. Carefully scaling up it, she sat onto and allowed her eyes to scan over the camp. She was more then content to keep watch while everyone ate as well as wait for her next orders from Amara. It was one of the few things she could do to keep her mind off of her past.

Killian looked at Arya as his plate was nearly finished. "Well, we can check with Amara to see whaty she thinks. I wouldnt be against it at all" he replied with a small smile. He looked towards Amara who looked like she was trying to think of something. He turned back to Arya. "Do you want to ask her now, or wait" he asked as he set down his epmty plate. He figured he would let Arya choose since she seemed to be having a rough morning. / Iris gave a small smile to Tristan. "Thank you" she said as she slowly started to eat. Her bright red hair fell into her face often, but she hadnt been able to fine hair ties strong enough to pull it back and usually just gave up trying after a while. Her green eyes glanced around before she looked at her feet again, feeling useless in helping since she hadnt been able to help that day.

Hope looked up, hearing that the others were about to go scouting. She looked down at her empty plate and then got up, walking over to the two (Killian and Arya). "You guys going to go scouting? Mind if I come?" she asked hopefully. She had to get out of this camp. She tended to feel more comfortable out scouting or hunting than in the camp, especially when tensions were running as high as they were at the moment. Luke took the food, then climbed up the tower after Elara. He was worried that she wasn't eating, and he frowned slightly. She needed to keep her strength up, and this would not help. He let out another soft sigh, before starting to eat. Edited at May 18, 2021 09:37 PM by Lightning Chasers

"no problem" Tristan offered. he was glad that things seemed to be a little calmer for the moment. he hoped that feeling would last, but knew it was not likely. "how are you doing right now" he asked as his arm went around her. he didnt know if it was a problem or not, but if so, he would move it. he just wanted to feel like she would be safe as long as he was there with her. she seemed a bit upset, but he hoped it wasnt anything too serious. he listened closely, hoping she would be honest with him.__________________________________________________________________Alex rolled her eyes as she looked around at all the people socializing with each other. she didnt understand why they would do that. she didnt understand why anyone would open themselves up to lose another person. but maybe they were just naive and didnt know yet that all relationships end in loss.

Arya Arys finished her plate and set it to the side, atop of Killian's own. While she wanted to help out, she wasn't keen on talking with Amara at the moment. Arya narrowed her eyes for a moment on consideration, before slowly agreeing. Amara was the less of two evils in her book. Either Amara and her over control systems or Elara and her literal ticking time bomb attitude. Amara is WAY less likely to try to hurt her... Physically at least. "We can ask now if you'd like, get it out of the way and then leave whenever your ready?", she suggested with a playful glint in her eye. It was obvious that Arya was excited. It wasn't much if a secret that she hadn't been far from camp since she joined the group. Arya was mostly maintaining the place. This would be the first time she left for quite a while.

Alastor perked up slightly as he heard Elara call out to him, although he was slightly disappointed that she didn't use his name. As me moved toward where the food was made, he watched as she set the metal peice with food on it, onto a nearby stone, as she then walked off toward one of the larger piles of rubble before he could reach her. Once he made it to the spot she had left his meal he couldn't help but think back on while he was watching her. He hadn't seen her dish up any for herself, or even take a few bites while she was handing food out. Had she not eaten at all? It wasn't healthy for someone to go without eating, especially in the mornings, that was when one was supposed to get their fuel for the day. Well he certainly couldn't let that slide now could he? Despite the fact that she had told him to leave her alone for the morning he was determined to not let her go hungry for the morning. So he grabbed his food and began to make his way towards the tall pile of ruble that she was pearched upon along with that other cursed young man. Alastor veered off slightly so that he sat at the base of another pile near the one that the two sat on. He silently watched as he didn't bother to touch his food yet. If he didn't see her eat, then he would give her his, he had eaten plenty last night anyways. He didn't care if he had to call her out infront of the others, she would eat that morning, one way or another, whether the food be from someone else or him, he would ensure that she ate.
