Baelfire watched the shadow of the wolf and stared in wonder. He took a small step forward before taking to the air and landing in a tree right on the territory line.

Echo noticed the wolf had moved to a tree on the territory line, which happened to be right across from the tree she was hiding in. This wolf was definitely like her, maybe if she talked they would go away. "Can I...help you?" She asked, still not moving from her spot.

Baelfire jumped and almost fell out of his tree. It's a she wolf. Quick say something. "Uhh.Your like me." Really thats all you got. You shouldn't even be talking to her she is in the other pack. Baelfire straightened up and thought about heading back to his pack.

Echo hesitated for a few moments before answering, surprised to hear that it was a male wolf. Say something that doesn't sound weird She chuckled nervously "Y-yeah...I notic-ced...it's why I fell out of the tree"

Baelfire nodded. Well are you going to say anything else or are you just going to act like an idiot in front of her."My name is Baelfire. What's yours?" Great.First you give her your name and then you ask for hers like she's going to give it to you. She's the enemy her pack killed your mom. Yeah but she didn't.Baelfire shook his head to clear his thoughts.

Baelfire, that's a nice name Echo thought for a few moments before snapping back to attention. "My name is Echo" She answered, wondering what her father would think of her talking to an enemy wolf right now. She then realized that she would have to go soon before her parents got suspicious.

Baelfires ears pricked as he heard his father howl. "I have to go but we can meet here again tomorrow night if you want." He said glancing in the direction of the howl. Now why would she want to do that.

"Sure, we can meet again tomorrow night," Echo said, which probably surprised Baelfires. Honestly, she didn't do much on her nights out besides hunt. So a meeting was someone who was like her would be interesting, even if he was from a rival pack.

"Cool. See you tomorrow night then." Baelfire hoped from his tree to the ground and started back towards his pack. He showed up panting for breath and earned a quizical look fromhis dad when he walked into the den without arguing.

Echo smiled and headed back to the camp. She knew she was gonna be asked about her paw but Echo was just gonna be honest about that. Thankfully, her parents were asleep so she was able to slip inside the den and curl up in her nest.
