"Your limp is better. I guess you are feeling better then?" Ash asked, watching him. He nodded slightly before hearing, "I suppose you'll be leaving soon?" He paused before saying half playfully, "Yes, shortly I will get out of your hair and you can go back to your normal life." At that moment, his phone rang and he jerked. He had completely forgotten about his phone as he didn't use it often. Only in emergencies. "Hold on a moment." He said politely to Ash before limping to the hallway. "Hello?" He began as anyone would. "Moonless night, storming clouds."

Starfire froze, horror writing over his features. The code message that was sent to every shifter when hunters caught one. Two was caught this time. Every shifter had a code name if this happened. Starfire's was 'Fire in the Stars'. His fathers had been 'Thundering Lightning'. He dreaded thinking about it but knew it must be true. 'Moonless Night' was his mothers Moonlight. It meant that the moon had been put down. She was confirmed to be dead. 'Storming Clouds' was his younger brother's Thunder Storm. It meant that he was nowhere to be found. Better than dead.

Starfire turned his phone off before leaning up against the wall. "Where do I go now?" He thought out loud to himself. The path wouldn't be safe to go see if he could find his brother at Lightning Spruce. Not that his brother would be there if he was smart, which he was. Most likely he was on the run. He closed his eyes, sadness rolling through him as it sunk in. Only one more of his family was alive. He thought for a moment about going to the safe haven the shifters had made, way in the mountains where humans couldn't live or breathe.

Ayesha shrugs,"Honestly my normal life is boring." Chuckling slightly, before glancing at his phone as it went off. Just as Starfire left the room, her own phone went off. Growling under her breath, she snatches her phone up. Not even looking at the caller ID. "What?" Came the low growl. Only for a familiar and playful tone to answer her. "Is that anyway to greet your favorite brother?" Ayesha relaxes a bit,"Theo. For one you are technically my only brother brother. And for two even if I included the brother-in-laws, I don't have a favorite brother." There was a chuckle.

"Ouch, sis. I really woulda thought I was your favorite." Ayesha rolls her eyes amused as she leans against the counter. "Oh whatever, silly." Theo laughs before growing serious,"I know you don't like when we call you. But something happened I thought you should know." Ayesha's eyes narrow,"Go on." Theo sighs before continuing.

"Jacob came over today."

Ayesha stiffens,"No. Way." Theo grunts,"Yes way. He just showed up on our doorstep, and Mom let him in. The basis of the conversation is that Jacob was looking for you, and Mom was willing to give him your address. But she told him that she didn't know where you lived, just that you lived somewhere in the States." Ayesha growls,"What. The. Hell." Theo sighs,"I know. That's what's our sisters and I said. But apparently Mom's defense was that she was hoping that Jacob would be able to convince you to come home."

"Doesn't she know what he did to me?"

Another sigh escapes Ayesha's older brother's mouth. "Yes, but she refuses to believe it. She keeps saying that you are just using that as an excuse to leave Scotland, and live in the States. She told us that you lied about that and Jacob was the sweetest boy ever and she treats him like her son." Ayesha growls once again, before sighing. "This is why I didn't tell anyone what my address was."

Starfire sighed before going into the kitchen slowly. Seeing Ash on the phone, he walked outside before leaning against a tree. He didn't know how to react now nor could he keep the sadness off his features. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair looking out to the woods. The dogs had moved away from this area most likely to go after his brother. Wherever he was. Starfire looked to the sky before closing his eyes, wanting to go find his brother but couldn't. Not yet at least.

Theo grunts,"We will try and keep Mom and Jacob here as long as we can. But no promises." Ayesha sighs again,"Thanks." Theo replies,"No problem. We'll let you know if they do head towards the States." Ayesha grimaces,"Thanks. I'll talk to you later. Bye." Theo bids his goodbye before hanging up. Ayesha had watched Starfire exit the house, so she allows herself to let her shields down. She lays her phone down before laying her head on the counter, her shoulders slumping.

Starfire ran a hand through his hair before sitting down against the tree. He didn't exactly want to go inside or shift for that matter. He wanted so many things at the moment but they were all out of his grasp. He didn't realize it but silent tears had started running down his face. He wiped them away at first but more just kept coming. He let them come for a couple moments before wiping them away. Pulling out a small pocket notebook, he started to write a poem for his deceased mother. In his notebook, there was also his sister, older brother and father. Now to add to the list was his mother.

Sighing quietly to herself, she allows herself a few more minutes of whatever she was doing. Before Ayesha straightens up, pulling a shield back up, before beginning to clean the house. The house wasn't super messy, but she cleaned it every week. Only to pause by the window as she looked outside and saw Starfire sitting outside. Frowning, she noticed he seemed....Sad? So with a soft sigh to herself, she stops cleaning and heads outside. Calling out. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Hey, are you okay?" Ash said and Starfire looked away for a moment, putting the notebook away. "Yeah, fine." He said at first before sighing, "No, not really. I just. . .got a call saying that my mother died." He said, not looking at Ash. "The only one I have left is my younger brother, but I don't know where he is at the moment." He explained before pulling out a picture, handing it to her.

All of them were in their human forms, his mother with her flowing white hair in the right corner. His father with pure black hair with amber streaks running through it was in the left corner with his older brother with a roughish blonde hairdo. His young brother had brown hair standing next to a slightly younger version of Starfire. His sister stood next to them, her amber colored hair flowing down her shoulder. Starfire pointed to his mother first, "That was my mother Moonlight, my father Stormfire, my older brother Lightning Bolt, and my sister Amber Lily. That in the middle is me and my younger brother Thunder Storm. A wildfire took away my father, older brother and sister. Now, an unknown cause took away my mother." Most of it was true other than keeping the shifter hunters out.

At first Starfire told her, he was fine. Though as Ayesha goes to point out that it was obvious he was lying, Starfire just admits to the fact he wasn't fine. Causing Ayesha to close her mouth as she joins him, sitting down nearby. As Starfire explains. "My condolences." Came her gentle response, knowing better to say I'm sorry for you loss. As why apologize for something that wasn't your fault? It just felt weird. As Starfire hands her a picture, Ayesha gentle takes it.

Her blue eyes studying it as Starfire explains how the rest of his family passed. Ayesha nods as she looks back up and hands the picture back,"I could help you find your brother if you want?" She wasn't the best detective, but she wasn't half bad. Then in an attempt to cheer him up she jokes,"I like your family's names, they are bold and different." She liked bold and different, Ayesha hated seeing people act the same way every day all the time.

Starfire chuckled as she joked, "I like your family's names, they are bold and different." He waved his hand, "Well, we are much different than usual Americans." Yep, considering we are not considered humans. He thought to himself before thinking about what she had said before that. Did he really want a human to be looking for a shifter that she didn't know was a shifter? Finally, he shrugged, "We can try to find him, but he can be pretty good at hiding when he wants to be." The opposite of me. Starfire thought to himself, a small memory coming to him.

"Now remember what I said about hiding, blend in." His mother said before changing into a tree frog onto a tree. His brother shifted into a squirrel and Starfire? Well, he turned into a wolf. Moonlight shook her head, "Hiding, not standing out." "But I don't want to hide, I want to stand out." Starfire responded, flattening his ears. "It's going to get you in trouble sometime Starfire." His brother said, shifting back into human form.

Starfire smiled at the memory before looking back at Ash, "We can try to find him. The first place we can start is where I last saw him." He paused before saying, "He has this special kind of shoe that looks like a pawprint when walking, says it's for secrecy but everyone can hear when he's coming. Most of the time." He mixed the lie in with the truth so she couldn't tell.

Ayesha nods,"Everyone can be good at hiding, sometimes it just takes a life threatening situation." She sighs before standing up. "Alright. We can set off soon. But we may want some stuff." She glances towards the woods. "If we enter the woods at all we will want protection from any kinds of creatures. Not to mention those dogs that attacked you, they probably had a reason for attacking you, so they may come back." Ayesha glances towards her house,"And I assume that we won't want to travel back to the house for anything while we are looking for your brother, so clothes and food and water."
