Starfire told the news of his mother to the man. He just sat there before standing up, "Well sonny, I am so sorry for your loss. Moonlight was definitely a good woman. Your stallion is in the field, I shall get him for you now." Starfire thanked him before going out to the barn. Sam, who was the man helping them, came in with Starfire's usual horse. Starfire could see Ash patting a beautiful gelding while waiting for him.
His stallion was an Appaloosa, with a pure black pelt and silver dots along it's flanks. Tacking up in western style, Starfire led the horse out where he called to Ash, "Okay, we can go!" He got onto his horse before looking over his shoulder at Sam. "Good luck Sam and thank you for all your help." Starfire said gently. Sam waved at him, "Be safe my boy! It's a dangerous world out there." How true that is. Starfire thought before clicking his tongue for the stallion to go into a smooth trot.

Soon Starfire and the man came into sight. Starfire leading a beautiful appaloosa. Ayesha leads her gelding out of the barn, before easily swinging on board. Once Starfire had bid farewell to his mother's friend. The two were off. Ayesha tapping her gelding's sides to have it speed up to a smooth trot. The gelding was pretty laid back and seemed friendly enough. But Ayesha was going to find out if she had picked a good steed or not.

Starfire slowed his stallion down a tad so that him and Ash were riding next to each other. "That one seems a bit new but I haven't been around the farm for a while so they all seem to be a bit new. Where did you learn to ride?" Starfire wasn't the best at small talk as he preferred silence but he could still try.

Ayesha shrugs as she leans down to pat the gelding, who had one ear pointed back towards Ayesha. She could tell the gelding wasn't pinning his ears, he was just listening to his rider. Ayesha replies,"My family owns a lot of land and they have always been known for their horses-" Well that and their clan name. Ayesha thinks to herself before continuing. "-I was taught how to ride before I was taught how to walk. And those Highland Games I mentioned? I've rode in plently of those."

Starfire nodded, listening to her. "Those Highland Games sound like some of my community gatherings. We haven't had them for a couple years due to the hosts taking serious sickness." He stopped there, not sure what to say if she asked what sickness it was. He wasn't too intuned to most human diseases as they affected shifters differently. He rode in silence for a couple moments before saying, "I learned how to ride when I was 5 when my mom decided that we needed a better mode of transportation without polluting the earth. Yep, my family for you, environmentalists we are." He joked the last sentence.

Ayesha nods as she listens. Before replying. "There were many times that the Highland Games should have been cancelled that year. Hosts being sick, a deadly outbreak, bad weather. But there were only a few times that the Highland Games were actually cancelled. Because it was a big big thing. All eldigibe people of Scotland particapted. Even people from Ireland, England. Well people from all over the world who are old enough and healthy enough, come to participate in the Games." Ayesha chuckles. "Sounds like a wise women." At Scotland, the family barely left the estate except a grocery run every other month. Everything they needed was on the estate . Most of their food was grown on the estate, they had horses, dogs, cats, sheeps, etc

Images flashed before his eyes but he pushed them away as he said, "My community would stretch over the mountains and sh-people would come from all over to have fun and talk. My community was mostly cousins and family that would come, but there was so many of us." I consider every shifter family as there is so few of us now. He thought to himself.

Ayesha bobs her head. "Sounds fun." Came the response. Family....She had lost that by leaving Scotland. But in certain ways it had been worth it to leave and never return home. Ayesha shakes her head, thinking to herself. Will I be able to return home, one day? Ayesha glances up as she allows her gaze to roam the area. Ayesha leans down to pat her steed's shoulder as she straightens back up. "I hope that you find your brother."

Starfire looked over at her, "Me too. He's the last family I have." He slowed his horse as they came to a trail path. Now, most smart humans would follow the trail. However, so did hunters. The last thing they needed was hunters. Starfire clicked his tongue, having the stallion go into the woods, following an old overgrown path. Once it got wide enough, he had him slow down so that him and Ash were side by side again. "Not usually the path I go, but we are coming from a different direction." Starfire said, watching the path for brambles ahead of them.

Ayesha bobs her head, she couldn't exactly say the same. Since the only one in her family she really disliked was her mother. But it wasn't like she could just turn around and walk back to her house and boom there was her family. As Starfire slows his steed, Ayesha slows her's down as well. Her gaze swinging around, wondering where they were going now. Turning her gelding to follow Starfire as they go on a path that narrowed to the point that Starfire and Ayesha couldn't walk side by side. The path finally widening out enough, Starfire had slowed his steed to walk beside Ayesha. Ayesha bobs her head,"Whatever works best I guess."
