Starfire heard her accent fade as she switched back to American. "Scotland is beautiful. I wish I could return home. I miss my siblings and my nieces and nephews, and my animal companions I had. But one thing I miss a lot is the Highland Games! I had so much fun in the Highland Games, of course a lot has changed since the first few years of the Highland Games. But it is still so much fun!" Starfire smiled before sitting back down. His arm was almost healed now which meant more questions. His leg on the other hand. . . .now that was a whole different matter. "What was the Highland Games?" He asked, so she wouldn't start thinking about changing the bandages.

Ayesha returns to her seat. Her eyes lighting up at her questions. "The Highland Games? Oh! They were incredible!" She loved the Highland games, so much! "They are in the spring and summer usually, and can last for at least a week at minumum. Everyone comes and gathers, setting up tents to stay in. Everyone eats together in one big tent, and has fun, making friends. You compete in different events that celebrate and honor Scottish and Celtic traditions. You can bring horses and stuff. I usually participate in the horse stuff, or archery. It's held every year, no matter what. They always find a way to hold it."

Starfire smiled sadly, "It sounds like fun, a big gathering." There is no more of those in my world. Too many shifters in one place draws hunters. He thought to himself before leaning back in his seat. The Highland Games sounded a lot like the shifter games but of course, the shifters had different games and food. He missed those times, but these days hunters were always sending out two to three teams of hunters to capture and kill shifters. He rolled his shoulders, feeling that his wound on his shoulder was halfway healed and didn't hurt to move anymore.

The smile and light fades from her eyes,"They were. They are." Ayesha glances out the window,"So do you think that whatever after you is gone now?" In other words, she was asking if he was safe. Because Ayesha needed to run into town for some more supplies. But if he wasn't safe, she didn't want to leave him here by himself. Not wounded at least. Though she could let him have the gun and just tell him to stay on high alert. Or something like that.

"They were. They are." She said, her smile fading. She glanced out the window before asking, "So do you think that whatever after you is gone now?" Starfire hid a wince, Nope. Wolfhounds will track for days at a time before giving up. There is still an injured one out in the woods that I hadn't been able to kill. He thought to himself before saying to Ash, "It should be gone by now." Oh, I know it's still there. . .most likely getting reinforcements. He thought to himself, leaning back. He was still trying to pick his words carefully but that was hard to do around this woman.

"Alright, well I need to run for some supplies. Would you like to lay low here, or come with?" Ayesha asks as she glances back towards Starfire. In her bedroom, she could hear her phone going off repeatingly. But she just ignores it, let the texts and calls of whoever it was go to voicemail. She didn't care, she needed to find a way to block him. Perhaps it was time to call the cops on him, get the officer force involved.

"Alright, well I need to run for some supplies. Would you like to lay low here, or come with?" Ash asked, glancing at him. He forced himself not to let out a relieved sigh. He could heal his wing while she was gone. "I will stay here and rest, better for the leg anyway." He said to her, leaning back in the chair. And most likely will be half-healed by the time you get back. He thought to himself before looking over at Ash again.

Ayesha bobs her head as she gets up,"Alright. I'll be back as soon as I can." She glances around. "If you're scared those hounds will come back. My gun is still on the counter where I left it last night, and just keep the lights off and don't open the door for anyone." She had keys, so she could lock and unlock the door. Ayesha nods at Starfire before heading to her room to snag her keys and phone. "I'll be back." She calls before disappearing out the house, locking the door behind her as she gets in the car and pulls out. Headed for town

Starfire listened to Ash as she said, "Alright. I'll be back as soon as I can. If you're scared those hounds will come back. My gun is still on the counter where I left it last night, and just keep the lights off and don't open the door for anyone." I think you should be more worried about the hounds. He thought as she went out the door. He heard the car in the driveway before the sound slowly faded.
He let out a sigh, he was alone finally. He stretched his wings out, wincing slightly at the still open bullet hole. He relaxed as it started healing. He had no idea what to do about the girl. He knew he would have to leave when she wasn't looking but. .she most likely had a ton of questions. Questions you can't answer truthfully. He thought, before realizing that he didn't want to leave without saying goodbye or something. He closed his eyes, allowing his full healing to go over his wing and shoulder.

Ayesha hums to herself as she drives. Quietly singing along to the radio as she pulls into the town. Turning to the grocery store. Where she parks near the front. She shuts the car off, and gets out. Ayesha shuts her car door behind her before locking the door. Ayesha tucks her keys in her pocket as she heads inside. Snagging a basket as she begins to shop. Going up and down every asile grabbing whatever she needed, and leaving whatever she didn't need.
