"Everyone can be good at hiding, sometimes it just takes a life threatening situation. Alright. We can set off soon. But we may want some stuff." Ash said and Starfire got up. Oh dear, she is totally serious. Oh well. He thought as he listened to her say, "If we enter the woods at all we will want protection from any kinds of creatures. Not to mention those dogs that attacked you, they probably had a reason for attacking you, so they may come back. And I assume that we won't want to travel back to the house for anything while we are looking for your brother, so clothes and food and water."

He nodded to her before saying, "Food, bottled water, clothes. We can travel light with the food and water, I have a cache close near where I last saw him." Hunters and hikers kept caches for long hunts but that's also why the shifters did too. The shifters needed to go places at a split second to escape from the hunters. When someone found a cache, they usually left it alone thinking it was a hunters. Letting out a sigh, he walked inside to start packing his stuff.

"Alright." Came the simple response, before she turns and heads inside. Not even waiting for Starfire, though she left the door open. Ayesha was a hurricane moving through the house as she gathers things. Bags to store things in, clothes, water, food, and anything she felt that they would need. Flashlights, batteries for the flashlights. Some stuff for the cold if it got too cold. Ayesha finally pauses, to take a look around. Wondering if she was missing anything.

Starfire finished with his own packing before going back outside. He had food, water, a few clothes and his handy pocket knife. He knew that he could stop at his old home to get anything else that he needed. He put the pack onto his back before taking out his compass. Once he got south pointed out, he put it away before looking around for Ash.

Once happy with all of her things, she slings the pack on his back before going around and shutting stuff down to save money. Assuming she would be gone for at least two days, lights off. Unplugging things, fans off, etc. Then finally she heads outside, joining Starfire. Glancing around, before looking at Starfire. "Ready?" She asks.

Starfire nodded to Ash as she asked, "Ready?" He looked to the south before saying, "The place is south but we turn east at an old statue." She would see soon enough that that statue was a huge obelisk. "We can either walk or stop at a corral that is along the way. Two horses would do us well with the terrain we will be going through." He said, starting forward. Due to moving around a lot when hunters found them, he set off at a steady pace that he could stay at for hours. The corral was a mile down their path but that was okay. He needed to walk anyway, even if he did still have the slight limp.

"Alright." Came the response, Ayesha could ride horses in fact she had a horse back in Scotland. Setting off beside Starfire she nods,"Do you have an idea of where your brother is?"

(Sorry it's short had a bit of a writer's block with this one and honestly wasn't sure how to lengethen it!)

Starfire looked away thinking. "Sortof. We better check this place out first and then check his hiding spots." Which happen to be all over the state we are in. He thought to himself before turning his head back towards Ash, "He is a wanderer sometimes but always seems to know where he is going."

Ayesha nods as she follows alongside Starfire, her gaze roaming their surroundings. Since she had moved to the States she mainly stayed inside, scared that somehow her family or ex would find out where she lived. So this was one of the first times she had actually been outside her house, besides when she had gone shopping or something else important like buying a car or a house. Or something like that.

Starfire walked along before seeing the path split off into two paths. Hmm. . .Right or Left? He thought looking down each path. A nearby whiny answered him. He chuckled before taking the left path. Making it out of the trees, he saw the corral. It was run by one of his mother's old human friends. The man spotted them and did a double take. "Well, lookie who it is! I didn't think you were in this area." He said, coming down off his porch. "Yes, neither did I. I have some. .news." Starfire said hesitantly. He immediately nodded before turning his attention to the female behind Starfire.

"The horses are in the barn right now. Choose your pick from any of those in the stables. Starfire's stallion is in the field at the moment, which I will fetch shortly." He said, dipping his head before going inside. Starfire started off behind him before turning back to Ash, "He's an old friend of my mothers. I need to tell him the news on my mother. The barn is near the small corral to the left there. Saddles and reins are in the right corner of the barn. You can do western or eastern." Starfire explained before pointing out the direction. "I'll meet you in the barn in a couple minutes." Starfire said before following the man inside.

Ayesha pauses at the crossway, glancing at Starfire who then proceeds to turn left. A barn and corral soon came into sight and after the man and Starfire chit chatted a bit, Ayesha was directed towards the barn being informed to pick whatever horse she wants and that there was tack in there too. Ayesha bobs her head as she enters the barn, glancing around. There were many colored horses, but one caught her gaze. A gelding, she could tell.

But the gelding looked exactly like her horse at home, except for the fact her horse at home was a stallion. Ayesha smiles as she brings the horse out. The gelding was a blood bay color with white stockings and dark brown mane and tail. He was a tall and broad gelding, and he was very friendly. Ayesha grooms him, brushes his mane and tail, and picks his hooves before tacking the gelding up. Going for western riding. Then taking Ayesha just waits there, petting the gelding.
