Starfire watched her leave before hearing the door slam. Yikes, she isn't too happy with someone. He thought, shaking his head. Better to not get on her bad side. He chuckled before quickly flipping the omelet, not realizing it had almost burned. Placing it on another plate, he set it down on the table before pouring some milk for himself. He slowly sat in his chair before focusing his healing back on his shoulder. It had wandered as he lost his concentration due to Ash being there.

Ayesha hisses back,"I told you never to call me again! You did this to us, not me. Now-" Ayesha cuts herself off before she goes to far, hanging the phone up and flinging it on the bed. Opening the door and storming back to the kitchen. Pausing just out of sight, taking a deep breath and calming herself. Before entering the kitchen again. "Thank you for the omelet." Taking the one that was for her as well as snagging her glass of milk, joining Starfire at the table.

Starfire noted the quick footsteps in the hallway before a pause. Hmm...she is definitely mad. But it's not my place to say anything. He thought, deciding not to get into her personal stuff as she might get mad. "Thank you for the omelet." She said, entering the kitchen and joining him at the table. "Least I could do. Tell me if I should add more or less spices next time." He said slightly playfully, looking at her.

Despite the playful look shot at her, Ayesha was too ticked off to care. Ayesha couldn't believe him after everything he did. Ayesha tries to settle her breathing, forcing a smile. "No, it's perfectly fine just the way it is." As she takes a bite, being a little more aggressive then was needed. But sometimes she just had to take out her anger, and she didn't know how else to without just screaming. Now if Starfire wasn't there she would just scream.

Starfire sensed something in her voice, maybe anger. He couldn't tell for sure, but she definitely seemed a bit aggresive. "Everything okay? You look like someone just locked you in hell." He said gently, a look in his eyes of knowing too well if something was going on. He knew that girl's could be a bit sensitive but this was the first he actually tried to understand.

Ayesha takes a deep breath, admitting the truth. "No, not really. I got a call from...someone I had hoped never to hear from again." She takes another bite, this time less aggressive. Her voice softer,"But don't worry about it, I'll figure it out." She flashes a small smile, this one less forced. Ayesha continues to eat,"No, I escaped my hell two years ago, by moving here." She glances around her house,"Best decision of my life, I don't regret it."

Besides," he smiled slightly, "If you hadn't moved, then I wouldn't have met such a fine nice woman. Your accent. .it's Russian am I correct?"

Another smile flickers across her face,"Russian? I wish. No, Scottish." The accent had stuck with her from the moment she moved, and it was beginning to fade into American. But she could still easily do a heavy Scottish accent. Switching into a heavier Scottish accent she continues. "I am a native of Edinburgh Scotland, lived there my whole life until something happened that made me hate my homelands." A wistful look enters her gaze,"But Scotland is a truly beautiful place."

She said, a wistful look entering her eyes. I wonder why she left then. He thought to himself before finishing up his omelet. Getting up, he placed the dish into the sink before saying, "Scotland must be beautiful, I've never been. Stayed on the northern side of the mountains mostly."

Ayesha allowed the accent to fade away, making her sound more American. More native to the place she had been living in for two years. "Scotland is beautiful. I wish I could return home. I miss my siblings and my nieces and nephews, and my animal companions I had. But one thing I miss a lot is the Highland Games!" Ayesha finishes her omelet, getting up to put her own dish in the sink. "I had so much fun in the Highland Games, of course a lot has changed since the first few years of the Highland Games. But it is still so much fun!"
