Starfire waited until she was on his back comfortably before shifting his weight. "Okay, um. I'm ready whenever you are." She said with a slight excited voice. He yawned before stretching his wings to the sides. He took a couple steps before going into a loping run. He went a couple paces before jumping, flapping his wings down sharply shooting upwards into the sky. He flapped hard until they got to the clouds. He flew right under it for a moment before flying up into the cloud. It felt like dew.
Flying above the clouds, he flapped once before changing his direction slightly to the north. He tilted his head before asking, "How are you doing back there?"

Ayesha couldn't help but wobble slightly with the first few steps, but then she found a rythm. Finding that it was kind of like riding a horse. A smile crosses her face as they shot up in the air. She felt the temptation to let go and just throw her arms out, but she didn't. As they got higher, Ayesha's grip got just a bit tighter, she wasn't afraid to admit that she was scared of heights. Then they went through a cloud, and Ayesha laughs in shock. Then they were above the clouds.
"How are you doing back there?"
Ayesha's gaze flickers around, she didn't dare lean over to look below her. "Um. Not going to lie, I'm scared of heights. But besides that, I'm doing pretty good."

"Um. Not going to lie, I'm scared of heights. But besides that, I'm doing pretty good." Ash said on his back and he could feel her grip in his fur. Starfire chuckled before saying, "Well, even if you do fall I can simply catch you." Starfire flew a bit higher to avoid a plane before looking west. "Looky there." Starfire said flicking his ears at Ash. The sun was slowly going down, the perfect sunset.

Her face flushes red,"I would prefer not to fall. Because I would scream like a little girl." Then she could hear and slightly see a plane before Starfire rose away from it. Then Starfire draws her attention towards the sunset. Ayesha smiles,"It's pretty. It's actually really pretty. It reminds me of the sunsets at home. If you are at the perfect place, it is a beautiful stunning sunset. And if you are up early enough, the sunrise is just as stunning."

Starfire chuckled, "A free fall is better than a controlled fall. More thrill." He soared higher as the sun disappeared from the sky. Now that dusk was there, he could use the pre's. The shifters called them pre-jetstreams and wingbreakers. If you didn't know the secret to get out of a wingbreaker, you were dead. Flapping up, he entered the pre's, the current making him go faster. Humans call it where planes travel in. Jets go through, guess, jetstreams.
Starfire soared through the currents for a bit before saying to Ash, "Hang on!" Tucking one wing, he rolled out of the currents. Tucking his other wing, he plunged a couple hundred feet before spreading his wings to gain speed. The cloud cover gave out as he pulled out of his dive. Underneath of him was a mountain with a ragged cliff and on top was a large rock in the shape of a skull.

Ayesha snorts, half amused. "Um. I'll just do my best and try not to fall." Her grip tightening just a bit more as she dares to take a peak over the side. Quietly glupping as she sees how high they were. Then suddenly they were going faster, Starfire was riding the currents. The jetstreams. Then after a little bit, Starfire called back a warning. Ayesha leans closer to Starfire, clutching to his fur for dear life as he dives. For a second, Ayesha thought they were going to free fall all the way down, then the wings were out again. Slightly shaken, Ayesha didn't loosen her grip until Starfire came out of the dive. Barely spotting a mountain below them

Starfire leveled out, going into a hover at the view of the mountain before dropping a bit lower. He could see the rock perfectly now as well as the mountain itself but it looked abandoned. He circled it before landing on top of the skull. He turned slightly before letting himself fall off the rock and pulling up and into a cave on the side of the sheer cliff. He extended a wing so Ash could hop off. "Here we are. Not much to see really. It's just a resting place for many of us shifters." Starfire said, looking around the dreary place. There was a few mats and beds but that was pretty much it. The scent of his brother however was not the freshest either.

Ayesha glances over as they get lower and lower, soon at the cliff. Then Starfire enters a cave, and Ayesha slides off. Glancing around, it wasn't the most homely cave, but it was better then nothing. She shrugs,"I've seen and been in worse." As she streches, a bit sore. She yawns slightly as she glances around. Allowing the pack to fall too the ground before she glances at Starfire,"Are you hungry?" She questions, her gaze going to the pack before returning to Starfire. She couldn't cook anything, but she still had some food in her pack. Some water as well.

Starfire shook his head, "I can catch something. Save the food for yourself. I could probably find a bird or something out here." He said before stretching. Sniffing around, he finally let himself fall of the ledge catching himself with his wings half way down. Hovering in place for a moment, he dropped down on a rabbit close to the ground. Killing it instantly, he ate it before covering up the bones. Finding a small stream, he cleaned off his bloody muzzle and paws before flying back up the cliff. Finding the cave, he landed before saying, "Since his scent is a bit old, that means he has a bigger headstart than I thought. We are going to have to be careful from now on."

Ayesha nods as she settles down, opening the pack to pull out some food and a bottle fo water. She watches Starfire leave before she begins to dig in. She didn't eat too much, before she reseals everything and tucks it back in the pack. Ayesha moves to rest her back on a wall while she waits for Starfire's return. It didn't take too long and soon the winged wolf was back. Ayesha nods as she takes in his words,"Alright." She stifles a yawn as she glances around, wondering how many shifters this cave could fit.
