Kiache nearly dove into their seemingly tiny home. It opened up in an underground cave, though, and there.. there were her siblings. Kiache was tackled, each one wanted to be sure she was really there. The first one Kiache saw was Toru. Oh, seas, how she missed them. How she missed her home, and her family. The water around the siblings was becoming murky with red, all of them crying as they saw Kiache, and as Kiache saw them. Edited at June 17, 2019 09:01 PM by bumblebee

Ripley was doing their best to get home quickly but they had gone quite far in their scouting. It wasn't helping that the ocean was being very wild today. Although it was always untamable, today it was just angry. This slowed Ripley down considerably faster than normal. So they wouldn't be able to get to Kiache fast enough to be part of the main reunion.
Jack watched this happen with a rather soft expression. The last time he had hugged his sister like Kiache was doing so easily had been years ago. Before the incident which had made the whole perfect son and control of powers thing disappear in a snap. Before he'd scared his little sister so bad that she wanted absolutely nothing to do with her older brother.

KIache's book was unchanged in all the years she'd been gone. Each shell she collected, and sculptures she made remained in the little crevice of the wall. Her bed was an anemone, soft and plush, and as Kiache had sat back down on it, her body had instantly relaxed. Now, Jack, Quinn, and Kiache were all seated on the bed, and she was explaining the basics of Mer culture.

Jack listened intently, trying his best to figure this out. At the same time, he was looking around Kiache's nook. A small smile on his face. maybe this place would be better for him. Ripley was so, so close to home. She was able to see the town now. And would be able to see Kiache soon.

"Tides above!" Kiache cursed, suddenly leaping from her bed. While she conversed with Quinn and Jack, Kiache couldn't help but reach out with her mind. The Mer had a very impressive reach, and could feel the edge of someone very familiar. Someone good.

Jack startled but realized that Kiache didn't look scared or anything. She just looked sort of happy. Which internally, made Jack happy. Though he wouldn't ever say that. Ripley swam into town with a pump of their fin. They were tired and a mess but Kiache was here and they deserved an apology from Ripley. For not keeping them safe.
(Reminder that Ripley doesn't know that Kiache goes by she))

Kiache didn't know what to do. She spun in a little circle and did a flip, having no other way to show her excitement and get out her energy. While doing this, Kiache reached out to the guards and told them to let them through once they arrived, to which the guards agreed.

Ripley said hello to the guard and asked for entry. Their newer shark skin armor much like the guards'. From there, they swam fast and hard towards Kiache's home. Reaching out with their mind to try and find Kiache.
