Baelfire roared like a bear for the pup's amusement. After a little bit, he allowed the pups to tackle him to the ground. He pretended he was dead and the pups all were happy. "Another round?" One of the pups asked. "I'm gonna go get some water. But Lanthe will play with you." Baelfire walked out of the den leaving his friend with the pups. He went into the forest towards the lake. Once in the cover of the trees, he turned towards where the boarders connect hoping that by some chance, she was there. |

The patrol had gotten to the border and were now marking it thoroughly. Echo was sitting behind two other wolves cause they didn't want her to be seen while they marked. One of the wolves growled. "Someone has passed through here. Not deep into the territory, but they definitely crossed the border, I knew something smelled off about the owl tree we passed." the wolf muttered Echo tensed up, were they smelling Baelfire's scent? The lead wolf growled and looked to the side" Well, were in luck. One of their patrols is coming this way so we'll give them a warning. " They said |

Baelfire broke through the trees and was now on the border. He saw the patrol and winced knowing he was now in trouble. A growl formed in his throat as he started to back away. Unconsciously he spread out his wings ready to get away fast if he needed to. |

The patrol's stopped and growled at each other, The two wolves guarding Echo stood up and continued to hide her.
"Hey! We need to have a chat." The lead wolf growled, walking up to the patrol. "One of your wolves have crossed our borders. So you better talk to your alpha about this and tell him that if we catch the wolf, there will be consequences." The wolf who leading the patrol from Baelfire's pack growled back. "Well. I can assure you that it's not one of the wolves in this patrol right now, but. I will bring your warning to our alpha. If that is all we'll be on our way" The patrols stared at each other for a couple of seconds before going their separate ways. Baelfire noticed, that Echo was there with her pack's patrol. |

Baelfire silently pleaded Echo would give hint he was there as he backed into the trees to hide from his patrol since he was supposed to be watching the pups. He jumped to the lower branches of a tree and waited for his patrol to leave. |

Baelfire's patrol left after a few moments of muttering about something Baelfire couldn't quite hear. Echo had a feeling and looked back, she couldn't check anything if she was constantly being guarded. She sighed and just looked off in that direction until her patrol disappeared into the bushes. |

Baelfire jumped from his tree and landed on the border. A twig snapped and he winced at the noise thinking his patrol might return. Then he would be in big trouble. |

Echo's ears perked up at the noise, That might be him She thought and wracked her brain for an idea to get away from the patrol. "Excuse me, I need to make dirt," She said
The lead wolf looked back at her and nodded "Alright, be quick with it" Echo nodded and left her patrol and headed to the tree quietly. "Baelfire?" She whispered |

Baelfire sighed in relief when he heard echos voice instead of someone else's. He padded up to the very edge without crossing. He didn't need to get his pack into more trouble. His tail wagged when he saw her. |
