Pilvi
Team One || Team Dog || Mentions: Kavik, Open
When Pilvi saw that there was no one to really talk to she just sat for a little bit next to her stall door. She didn't mind it actually. The piebald loved to be alone sometimes, just to take a moment to herself and think about things. She watched as the others chattered about the race which made her even more excited. She loved to run with her team, it was so much fun! The Seppala knew that this would be her longest race yet and that's what made her even more happy about it. Her thought felt like a drought so she went back in her stall to lap the water bowl a few times. With that the drought was now more like wetlands. The she was still deep in her thoughts when Kavik spoke. The humans were about to come, that meant it was time to get ready for the race! Her tail began to wag as she nudged the door open before making her way to the older male. "Hey Kavik." The female greeted rather brightly and excitedly before sitting down by him, the humans seemed loved to see them sit so why not?

<div style="text-align: center;">Kiko <div style="text-align: center;"> Team 1 | Lead Dog | Mentions: Kavik, Dakota <div style="text-align: center;"> <div style="text-align: center;">Kiko watched as Dakota combed the knot out with her paws and looked up at him with the face she always uses. He suppresed a smile before returning his gaze to Kavik. Kiko wondered if he saw what had just happened. Anyway, it didn't really matter. He was just happy to have the knot out.<div style="text-align: center;"> <div style="text-align: center;">Kiko nodded at Dakota as he stood back up, looking at the sun. "I'ts about time, think we should wake everyone?" He said, looking at Kiko. Without a response from him, he gave Dakota a nuzzle on the shoulder and padded away to the barn, letting out barks to try and wake all the dogs up. He really didn't want to go in their stalls.<div style="text-align: center;"> <div style="text-align: center;">Kiko trotted from den to den, scratching the barn walls. "Time to wake up. It's race day!" He yowled before returning to his own food bowl, making sure it was empty before he left. 'Time to make John proud.' Kiko thought to himself. The day wpuld go as planned. They would do the best they ever did, they would win, they would come home and have a feast. Simple.<div style="text-align: center;"> <div style="text-align: center;">Suddenly, he heard footsteps getting closer to the barn. He perked his ears and let his tongue come out before letting out a yip of happiness. He loved it when the humans came and got them ready for the race. It was the best! He sat still, waiting for the people to put his harness on and take him outside.

Sorry, couldn't reply last night due to my computer having like 70 updates))
Marble-Team 1-Team dog-m:Nevada, others
The Aussie Samoyed mix's facial expression lightened up as the lead damsel spoke of how the dogs here wouldn't do such things to him. He was still naive to how he wasn't having a play fight, but was being harmed for his mistake, and yet he felt more content as Nevada spoke to him. He nods, his half tail wagging as he looked at her with bright eyes. 'Yeah.. you're right! Everyone here likes one another, so I have nothing to fear of!' he barks happily as he gave off a goofy smile. He pranced in a little circle, feeling more giddy by the minute, as he wanted to just start moving and running. He had that kinda vibe that something exciting was gonna come from this race, and he sure as hell couldn't contain his excitement.
When the swing damsel Dakota mentioned how the humans were coming, Marble felt ecstatic. Looking at Nevada as she asked if he was ready, the team dog barked back in a confident and childish reply. 'Ready as I'll ever be!' he yips as he got into a playful bow, his tail wagging like mad. The bicolored Samoyed Aussie mix got up once more as he began to head towards where the other dogs were, looking back to see if Nevada was on her way as well
Ugh short))

Duck said: Recap please?}
Sure ^^ I don't think there's a whole lot going on. Team One is getting ready to prepare for the morning, most, if not all, of the dogs are in the barn since the humans have come outside to get ready. Team two is still at their kennels for the morning. Kayuh and Tapeesa are having a conversation, but other than that not much. I know that's a really simple summary, but there isn't really a lot going on. Feel free to Pm me if you have any questions or anything. :) ))

<div style="text-align: center;">Kavik Team One | Team Dog | Mentions: Pilvi, etc.
<div style="text-align: center;">The male had sat down at some point sat down and excitedly awaited for the men to entire the barn. His ears flicked as his name was stated along with a greeting, and ice colored eyes drifted over to see Pilvi, one of the other Team Dog's, approaching him. "Good morning, Pilvi," he greeted her happily, his tail wagging happily behind him. "Are you excited for today?" He asked, quite comfortable around the female dog. She would be running alongside him today, something they had done plenty of times in the past. He he was grateful to know his running partner, if you didn't it could definitely make things awkward. His attention flicked back to the barn as the doors were pushed open and too men stood in the entry. One was John, though he looked a bit pale and had a slump to his stance. The other man had features quite similar to John's, though there were some minor differences. He was shorter for one, and just a bit stockier. His hair was longer by several interests, and he sported a heavy beard around his jaw. "Steave, meet the Team. Team, this is Steve, my brother," John breathed out as he shuffled in, harnesses hanging over his arm. "I'll give you the harness and tell you the dogs name. You call them, and they'll come to you. You'll put it on them," John instructed to Steve, handing them the first harness and murmuring a name. "Kiko," the other mane, Steve, said, looking around for the dog who belonged to the name.

Cascade ~ Team 1 ~ Swing Dog ~ M: Open
As soon as the Seppala dog heard the doors of the barn open, she jumped up. Cascade wagged her tail but then stopped for a moment when she saw another person with John. Steve? Wait-- John has a brother? Oh well. The dog guessed that the new guy would be their musher, seeing as John looked sickly. She walked out of her stall a bit, and sat down. Her eyes were fixed on the new Male before she heard a name called. Kiko. Cascade looked directly to the male dog with a small head tilt. She never really interacted with him. The thing is, she knew who everyone was. Even though she never did anything with them besides run with them. Out there, this whole team was one. It was like they were family, all of them pulling one sled. Cascade looked back to Steve with an unreadable expression on her features.
Cascade was antsy and wanted to feel the wind in her fur and snow between her toes already. The Seppala dog sent an icy glare to no one in particular, her eyes just wandering around the barn. It was small but cozy, and she was glad each dog had their own little space. If she had to share with someone, either of them would be dead by now. This dog liked to fight, whether it be a play match or a fight to the death. She only fled or submitted when she knew if she kept going, she would be the one to die.

<div style="text-align: center;">Dakota || Dame || Swing Dog || Team 1 || Mentions: Kavik, Kiko, Others <div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">Just like most of the other canines on the team, Dakota made her way over towards the entrance and exit of the barn. With a swift movement, she sat down next to Kavik and Kiko, her eyes resting on the humans that were about to enter. The dame eyed John, her gaze scanning his entire body to see if he seemed better. Then, she turned to the other man, who looked rather similar to their human. <div style="text-align: left;"> <div style="text-align: left;">Her automatic guess was that they were related. They both had fairly similar features, though, of course, a few were different. Automatically, Dakota wasn't sure what to make of him, but soon decided upon trusting this man, considering John did. As their human began to speak, she listened intently to his wording. From what she heard, she found that the mans name was Steve, he was John's brother, and he was their musher for the race. The race in which they will win. <div style="text-align: left;"> <div style="text-align: left;">She sat patiently, and when Kiko's name was echoed throughout the barn. With a bright expression, she turned to him and smiled. "You're up." She murmured, nudging him gently before glancing back to Steve. Dakota wrapped her long banner around her paws elegantly as she waited for her name, and the others to be called.

Pilvi
Team One || Team Dog || Mentions: Kavik
Another friendly smile grew on the Seppala's face as Kavik greeted her in return. How excited was she? It was hard to describe but she managed to."Very." She replied, her answer might of been short but her excitement in her tone was very noticeable. "Are you?" She knew the answer would most likely be yes but it would hurt to return the question.
The female knew she would be racing alongside Kavik, he was her usual race buddy after all. Pilvi doubted that John would change her partner right before the race. Besides it would be weird to have someone else, she was used to racing with the other male, John always put them together. If the sled dog raced with someone else, it wouldn't be one of her better races. That was for sure.
Pilvi's ears twitched as she heard chattering outside of the barn. She recognized one of them. It was John! The piebald female watched as the light shined through the barn door once they creaked open. She saw two tall men walk into the barn, one of them was of course John. Her mouth opened, revealing a salmon pink tongue, her tail going bonkers. The female was surprised that she didn't run over to see them and was glad about that. Sometimes she got too excited and jumped on John, she didn't mean to, her excitement took over at times but no this time.
When John introduced Steve she had a feeling that John wouldn't race this time. I mean he gave the new guy that harnesses and let him call the names. It was kind of obvious. She was a bit disappointed but Steve seemed like a nice guy. When one of the lead dogs was called her eyes darted over to the male with the name of Kiko. That was when she got even more excited. She couldn't wait to be called!

Ferox | Team 2 | Swing Dog | Male | 3 Years Old | M: Open Wintery blue eyes peek out from the shelter resting atop the snow-covered ground at the sound of soft voices. Yawning broadly the red and blue Malamute stretches his taut muscles, teeth glimmering in the light reflected off the snow. His blue brindled pelt rippled with power as he shook his fur out, reveling in the warmth shielding him from the cold winter air. Shaking the last dredges of sleep from his mind he walked out into the opening, chain dragging behind him slowly. Ferox's broad paws crunched against the snow, their size promising a few more inches of growth to his already powerful frame. The Swing dog gazed around in obvious excitement and interest as he spotted one of their lead dogs, Tapeesa, and Kayuh, their Wheel dog. Bounding to the end of his chain he barked at them happily. ""Morning Tapeesa, Kayuh. What are you guys doing?"" He asked, bushy red tail swinging over his back as he forced his paws to cease their exited pawing.
