Taylbakus, in my notes, is a kingdom that's also closed off, but not as much as Garjiang. Really, one of the main reasons why they're so... not willing to put up with the other kingdoms is more because of their geography and less because of politics. They're literally in this world's version of the Arctic. It's a massive country, too, so, like, this place is just... pretty much in the middle of nowhere with a shit-ton of uninhabited land that's just lying around. The only reason why Taylbakus actually interacts with other kingdoms is for trade 'cause they're known for their sunflower seeds and alcohol. They've also had beef with Girmaon for a decade or so because they share ownership over a large strip of land. This land used to be under rule of a powerful kingdom, but both Girmaon and Taylbakus hated the kingdom for not "dealing with magic-users appropriately," so they allied together and overthrew said kingdom under a contract where they'd share whatever resources that kingdom's land had to offer. But Girmaon fucked up, broke their contract, and said that only they owned that strip of land. Taylbakus was rightfully pissed and spitefully used the land anyway. Girmaon impulsively declared war and actually managed to conquer several parts of Taylbakus, but the infamous Taylbakan winter set in and Girmaon was forced to flee with their tails frozen to the back of their legs. Taylbakus and Girmaon are still... pretty pissed with each other. They're gradually getting even more pissed with each other because Girmaon recently built a tall-ass wall around the perimeter of that strip of land they share, but that wall only faces Taylbakus. Taylbakus can still use the land, but still, it's insulting. Girmaon also considers them to be magic-user-sympathizers (even though Taylbakus literally has fighting rings of magic-users and brutalizes them) because they were allied with Majia, so that only pisses Taylbakus off even more. They're pretty much on the verge of war. Strangely, though, the young generations of Taylbakus and Girmaon are A+++ with each other; young Taylbakans are obsessed with Girmaon fashion, as inspired by the obsession Russians have with Adidas. I'm not so sure about Girmaon's architecture, but it's an amalgamation of medieval England architecture and architecture of other countries, possibly even Egyptian, Indian, and the like. Girmaon overthrew a lot of kingdoms near Kipokl even before Majia's fall, so they have yet to truly mold everything to their will colonialism-style. Taylbakus is, like, heavily inspired by Russia, so a lot of its architecture is based on traditional Russian architecture, but since they also overthrew a few kingdoms back in the day (hence why they have so much land), it's gonna have some elements of... other architecture or something. I dunno. I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to architecture— Edited at September 18, 2021 08:50 PM by ASomeonePerson

Considering Girmaon's current state, it was probably a conquest-based state lauded for its weaponry and army before it bit off too much than it can chew. Its government is probably spread thin and most of its people doesn't like it because, you know, all of these territories were gained in conquest and they don't have a big enough army to shut all of them down. Girmaon as it is is probably a pretty new thing, too (which would definitely add to the chaos but that's not the point) -- maybe they'd only recently changed name to what it is now or something. Either way, currently, their only redeeming quality is state of the art weaponry and probably armor by proxy, though they haven't had the chance to mass produce it yet. Before they took too much than they can handle, they were probably feared but well respected (not liked, most certainly not liked, but respected) -- real strong and had a great say in things because of it. Their word was likely one of the strongest when it came to the decision to get rid of all the magic users, and they probably played a big hand in the execution of that order, too, which only boosted their respect and intimidation. As for architecture, I don't fucking know LMAO

I like your neurons. Let's go with all of that.
I think Girmaon's architecture will just... not be acknowledged for now B)

Don't worry about it! Even pulling shit out of your ass is useful -- doesn't have to make all that much sense, seeing as it's just a roleplay, so don't stress out too much. (It does still make sense though, don't worry;. It's pretty useful and detailed information, and it doesn't read as word vomit at all to me.) Yeah, sounds good, LMFAO. I doubt we'll be describing the buildings in that much detail, anyway. ASomeonePerson said: I like your neurons. Let's go with all of that.

And, yeah, we're probably just gonna be, like, "Roofs have this oblong shape thing. Okay. Done." And then just focus on traumatizing our characters— ThisIsAPackName said: Yeah, sounds good, LMFAO. Speaking of characters, do we have an idea of what our protagonists' relationship will be?

Aye, s'pose it depends? My character would definitely be wary of him if he found out his alter ego before anything else, but he'd also see him as kind of his only chance to escape life as a child king (probably in his early 20s but that's still super young) shunned by all those around him, so? I don't know what relationship beyond htat would be because I don't know Irving's personality well enough, but I'd imagine that you'd have a better grasp on that because I'm going to end up making a new character for this and you seem to have him pretty thought out. I can give you an outline of what I've thought of for him so far if you want to make a decision now, or I could write out my whole bio and see what you have for him and we can decide together.
