"Why are you watching him?" Steven's neck fur bristled with Rage, "Explain yourself!" Steven demanded, the female shrunk back in fear. Steven sighed, forcing himself to soften his tone, "Why are you watching him, I need a valid explanation" Steven's neck fur still bristled, but the female seemed to stop crying for a few seconds.

Oak glanced sideways at Steven, slightly surprised at his blunt and demanding manner.

"I- I think that he . . . that he might be my-" She said softly, before being cut off by another voice.

"Mother? Who is this?" Beku pushed through the bushes and looked at the female, then Oak, then Steven, and back to the female. The female turned towards Beku and examined him.

Steven let out a low, intimidating growl, "You have no right to claim him, if he's in any relation to you, tough luck, you let him go when he was younger, you're not getting him back. If you want him back, you're gonna have to go through me" He snarled. "Beku, get behind your mother, We don't know who this is"

Beku did as he was told, but stared at the female. Cocking his head, he tried to think, but his mind was muddled.

"Why do I feel like a I know you . . ." He murmured under his breath. Oak narrowed her eyes at the female. She was shaking her head slightly, tears shining in her eyes.

"But I just found him. Its... been years. I-I-I just thought he." She looked back to Beku, her confusion, fear, and sadness showing through. Beku shook his head as. if ridding it of a burden, then pushed past Oak and Steven.

"Beku, carefull" Steven murmered, worridly. "Oak, what do we do?" He whispered, "I'm not sure we should let her stick around" he growled slightly.

"I don't. I have a weird feeling about her. I think she should leave." Oak whispered back, watching the two the wary eyes.

Beku went over to the female and sniffed her, then looked into her blue eyes.

"Your scent . . . I reckognize part of it . . . from a long time ago." He said, his brow furrowing. Then suddenly his face lit up and he ran behind her. The female, still confused as to what he was doing, stood stock still.

"Beku is acting strangely" Steven noted, his tone hushed in a whisper. He tilted his head to one side.

Beku rushed back in front of her.

"Genni?" The female gasped, taking a step back and sitting down. "I thought you wouldn't-" She turned her gaze back to Oak and Steven.

"Are these your parents?"
