Sindri Mendel
Male | Dragon Rider | Mentions: Orva, Riders, Dragons

The boy could only stare in wonder at everything that was happening around him. Dragons were coming out of the forest, almost in waves. A light dragon and a water dragon came out, attached at the hip, only for them to separate. He watched the water dragon bowl a boy over, but left the other unharmed. Perhaps he was the rider of the gorgeous aquatic reptile? He would have to be, if the dragon was knocking another human aside but not touching him.

Air dragons dropped in from the sky, fire dragons came from the air and from the forest, picking up riders and carrying them off. They were wonderful to see, and it was truly an honour to witness the greatness of bonds forming between humans and reptiles. He, being Sindri, did not expect a bond himself. He was... well, he was just Sindri. Why would a dragon want to bond with him?

He did not expect, at all, to turn his head and see the pale form of a dragon making its way towards him.

The slim boy grew very, very still. If it were going to go past him, he would rather not get in its way. But... it didn't. It stopped. In front of him. It was in front of him and staring at him and oh god was he bonded with a light dragon? He was practically shaking, but not out of fear, when the dragon bared her teeth. He should have felt threatened.

He didn't.

He heard her voice inside his skull, and his eyes widened even further. This was his dragon. He didn't even have time to answer her first sentence, too captived by the voice in his head, and he almost missed the object that got shoved into his chest.

His hands rose to catch it, mouth hanging open at what he saw. A crystal. It was beautiful. So was the dragon. Everything was so... surprising. He hadn't expected this. At all.

Hello, he said through the bond, looking back up at the powerful creature. I am Sindri. Sindri Mendel. Should he have used his full name? Did the dragon care for surnames? Likely not. I- uh- I have a gift for you, too? It sounded more like a question than a statement, but, still, out of his pocket, he fished two bands of gold, holding them up slightly. I'm sorry it's not something more.

Holy crap this was actually happening.

|| Sezyryn ||

|| Air Dragon || Male || Mentions: Orva, Mircea, Nirmala, Tyrus

Bugs, they were all bugs. But he felt it, the bond, it tugged at his soul and clouded his mind. His bug was in the large gathering somewhere. Sezyryn’s thought were halted when he felt the heat on the sun disappear from his back. On the ground at his feet a large shadow cast itself over him.

“Do it again.” A soft spoken voice requested from behind him.

Quickly Sezyryn’s head turned to look over his shoulder, to see who stood so close to him. His eyes looked up to meet those of an captivating luminosity. The light dragon. Caught off guard by her sudden presence, Sezyryn found himself at a loss for words. He watched her eyes widen, and break contact. She searched the crowd. Without another word, she moved, and Sezyryn couldn’t help but watch. He saw the exact moment she found her human. Would that be what its like when I find mine? He mused.

He felt the bond strengthen and weaken, his bug was moving through the crowd. Though many humans began to scatter as more dragons began to bond with their humans. Sezyryn knew that if he focused he could find his rider easily. But that was something he was reluctant to do.

To his right Sezyryn noticed the Water dragon advance, standing before two humans, knocking one to the ground with her leg. He wanted to laugh but when the human hit the ground, fire burned with in the air dragon. His midnight pupils constricted, and he stared at the male. Watching the human stand, and his mouth move, Sezyryn stilled. All he could hear was the sound of his blood thrumming through his veins. When the human walked away from the water dragon and her bonded human, he felt the fiery feeling slightly fade. His eyes tracked the boys every movement, like a predator watched its prey.

The boy walked over to another, one who smelt of fear.

His legs stepped forward on their own, completely drawn to the boy in a way he’d never felt before. Sezyryn moved quietly, hardly making a sound. The humans back was towards him when he approached. Like his mind was no longer his own, Sezyryn’s right wing outstreatched, moving over the boys. The light grey leathery membrane hovered just above their heads, while keeping out of reach.

In a instant two minds became one, linked by an invisible force. This was his rider.

“Bug,” His words heald a hint of a growl as he spoke through the mind link.

Daingean

|| Earth Dragon || Female || Mentions: Tyrus

The dark female stood slowly, stretching out the length of her lithe form. The intensity of her stretch caused her form to shiver a bit, and she stuck her tail in the air while lowering her front end to the ground, the way a dog would. Her liquid brown eyes closed slowly in pleasure. She felt a tug in her core, pulling her to move. Oh, that's right, she thought, as bitterly as she could while repressing the inevitable excitement, I'm going to find my rider today.

Jean stood, shaking her earth-laden scales and turned towards one of the rock walls surrounding her. She begun clawing through one of the more uneven walls, which she had packed in after entering the previous evening after a long day of flying towards her destination. Pushing through the earth with her long claws, she plowed through the wall head-first once it was thin enough. She then jumped off the ledge, gliding down the mountain to a ledge that was about half way up.

The sound of people and dragons in the trees and meadow below drifted up to her. Excitement burned through her veins as she felt the tug once more, pulling he rtowards her rider and towards the connection her instincts longed to make. She shook out her frame once more, pushed off from the cliff face, and drifted towards where the tug was strongest, landing about 30 feet from a group of people.

Bristling, the female dragon saw an air dragon standing near to where she felt the tug. Perhaps it wasn't his fault, as his human would be in the group as well, most likely. However, she couldn't help the anger she felt as she looked upon him so near to her human, whichever figure that may be.

She decided to quell her reaction and walked over to the group, following the invisible line. She looked towards the source. She saw a pale man shaking and crouching down low to the ground. He was mumbling to himself in a fashion that had her convinced she might have recieved a dud. She stalked over, picking up the shivering man by the collar with a grunt towards the group, and set him down a good distance away. As she felt the connection between the two of them forming, she wondered what it felt like for him, and hoped it wasn't too intense.

She stepped away, eyeing him. In a tone that was polite and curious, she said: Hello, my name is Daingean, and I suppose I'll be your bonded dragon. You look like a mess, but I think you're rather intriguing. She realized too late that she perhaps should have left the last part off. But she was forward, and he would have figured it out eventually.

Breathnóir

|| Earth Dragon || Male || Mentions: Alexa

Noir stalked through the forest alongside the meadow, made uncomfortable by all the noise he heard coming from the meadow. He stopped while he was still hidden within the trees, his green eyes scanning the meadow. He felt the tug that had refused to let up. However, he stayed put. When the invisible line, pulled him harder, he grit his teeth and started digging down into the ground.

He felt bad as he unearthed two trees in his way, but he was quickly made comfortable when he had tunneled a good 10 feet underground, continuing to dig his way towards the tug. However, he was still a bit uncomfortable. He had seen a large group of people near an air dragon, and this is where the tugging had wanted to lead him. However, he knew that he would become rather territorial if he had to stand so near to that air dragon while attempting to make his bond with his rider.

Thinking of his rider, he started to wonder what they were like. He hadn't tought much about it. He had spent the past few days following the pull and sleeping. There had been few breaks to eat or drink or bathe himself. Merely following his instincs and stopping only when he was too exhausted to continue. Now, he was here, and he wasn't prepared.

He stopped suddenly, realizing the tug was pulling him upwards now. He went just a few feet further, not wishing to squish anybody in his attempts to reach the surface. Then, he dug straight up, launching himself with his powerful back legs up through the eath. He flung dirt around him, and made a large crater that was his exit point. He turned around to fill it back in, leaving only a bare patch of dirt.

He looked towards the source of the pull, finding a brunette with light blue eyes looking around. He growled lightly at the air dragon nearby, who may or may not have caught his slight aggression. Noir then pushed the girl away from the group with his muzzle, forcefully herding her until they were a decent distance away from the group.

He felt the connection, and tried out their new form of communication. Hey, my name's Noir. Sorry about my initial rudeness, but I didn't like you so near to the air dragon. He apologized sheepishly. He laid down, settling himself in the grass while keeping his watchful green eyes on her. What's your name? I suppose I should know if we are to be bonded. He released a low huff, the equivalent of a chuckle.

Aeolus
Air Dragon | Male | Mentions: Troy Droit, Breathnóir

The male couldn't feel nothing but happiness as looked at his Rider. This was his human! Once whom he would have grand adventures with, and great fun. His eyes just sparkled at the thought of it. He straightened his posture to find that most dragons were quickly finding their humans, and he smiled at this. Every dragon deserved a human and every human deserved a dragon. He felt the spikes around his around fan out in an alarmed matter at the feeling of the earth rumbling.

Earth Dragons? Aeolus mused. He then caught two Earth Dragons looking at him heatedly. He frowned at this, it wasn't his fault humans decided to bunch up together. If anything they should just mind their own buisness. He then used his wing to shield his human from any flying debris. His eyes grew sharp at this, couldn't they be more careful with flinging the dirt around. He even heard one have the audacity to growl at him.

Aeolus was not happy. This male Earth Dragon had the nerve to growl at him. When he wasn't even in his way. And then put his human in danger with flying debris. Aeolus was thumping his tail in an agitated manner against the ground, tempted to hit the dragon for being so goddamned rude. Instead he beared his own fangs, and gave an icy hiss towards the dragon. The misty vapor coming from his mouth as a warning.

He wasn't one to aggressive nor territorial towards another dragon, but this male was pushing his buttons. "Mind where you're flinging dirt around." he rumbled lowly towards the male Earth Dragon as he removed his wing from around Troy. He flapped it a bit getting any remaining debris off. He then again softened his gaze when he saw his human.

You love thrills? Then you shall enjoy flying with me! I love zooming through the clouds and free-diving from mountains at the highest point! It's such a thrill. he spoke through the link absolutely beaming. The necklace is a good look for you. And he rumbled his approval as he watched Troy put his necklace on. Do you have any friends here?

Marcella

Female || Dragon rider || M: NPC girl.

[ind.] Nurzhan, other riders & dragons

Marcella was shocked at the number of dragons that had appeared. Her jaw was slightly dropped as she witnessed more and more dragons seemingly claiming their riders, maybe some had even bonded. Some were quite territorial, either picking up their rider and moving them, or shoving others out of the way to reach theirs. A lot of the others that had come here, hoping for a chance to bond with a dragon were in awe, though a fair amount were also scared out of their wits. She witnessed the appearance of two earth dragons, and then another air dragon.

The next thing she noticed was a boy on the ground, an earth dragon had approached him and she was excited to see what the dragon would do next. Marcella was distracted by a girl a few feet back, who seemed even more terrified. Her mouth was open and her eyes wide, just standing in shock. Without warning, she took off running, running away from the dragons, away from the crowd, and off into the forest. Marcella didn’t think too much of it until she remembered seeing the faint black smog leaking out of the trees from earlier. What if there was a dragon back there? And the terrified girl was running straight towards it.

The girl warily looked behind her, and Marcella thought she recognized who it was. Julie, she had grown up in her neighborhood but moved away a few years back, she hadn’t seen her since. But if whatever was back there was spooked by the frantic girl, both could be injured. A part of her longed to stay here and see if another dragon would appear so she would have a chance to bond with one but made up her mind to follow the girl. Her conscience wouldn’t rest if Julie got lost or hurt herself, and she was the one who saw her run off initially and did nothing to stop it. She released an audible grumble and set off at a brisk jog after her.

Marcella didn’t want to yell and startle her, but as she approached she could hardly see the girl’s figure ahead. Picking up the pace she held up a hand to shield herself from the small branches sticking out from the trees around her. Eventually, she couldn’t see Julie and slowed to a walk, looking down at her arms she found little red scratches on them from whatever she had brushed against on her run over here.

It was only then that she realized how far from the group she was. She heard a slight panting up ahead and moved to walk towards it, Marcella tensed as she stepped on a small branch, the dry wood snapping underfoot. “Julie, is that you?” she spoke, doing her best not to raise her voice and startle the frightened girl. Her eyes narrowed and she strained to hear a response, but all she got was the whistling of the wind.

Tyrus Rafferty
Male || Rider || Mentions: Mircea, Sezyryn, Daingean
Indirectly Mentions: Dragons

He sat, head buried between his hands until a voice called him. Releasing a sigh, Tyrus raised his eyes to meet Mircea, his face still pale. It only grew more so when he mentioned him getting his own dragon. All Tyrus could do was shake his head, waving Mircea away. "I don't want a dragon. I've never wanted one." Huffing, the man looked around, still seeing dragons surrounding him before releasing groan. "How many are left? How many still need to choose their riders?" He wanted this to be over with already. He wanted to go home.

"Alright," he mumbled as Mircea suggested that they find a quieter space. "Any place is better than here," he added on. Tyrus acted quieter now, the presence of the dragons making his personality die down severely. He wasn't sure why he feared them, but he felt as if he needed a reason to justify it. Everybody loved the dragons, yet he couldn't stand them. All Tyrus knew was that near them, an alarm went off within him that screamed danger, though the reason why was unknown.

Kicking at a pebble on the ground, Tyrus latched himself near Mircea. Sure, the guy was shorter than him, but did that stop him from using him as a shield? No, no it did not.

Brushing himself off, the boy's movements slowed when a sudden shadow passed over him. Odd, the forecast was predicted to be sunny all day and-

A breeze blew at his neck.. Like somebody breathing.

Blinking, Tyrus halted all movements and froze like a rabbit. Slowly, so slowly, his eyes turned upwards, seeing a grey material atop of him and Mircea. It reminded him of an umbrella. If only that's what it was.

Heart quickening, Tyrus soon felt it pounding against his chest, his hand suddenly reaching out to Mircea's arm and gripping it tightly. "What is it?" He whispered, too afraid to turn around himself. He felt as if he made any sudden movements, he would regret it. Tyrus was too afraid to turn around, was too afraid to move. He feared the dragon was here for him, but when he glanced at Mircea, a wave of relief overwashed him, but not completely. He could tell this dragon wasn't for him, and that offered him some ease. Some.

"Mir? Mir, I want to leave," he whispered once more, tugging on his friend's arm like a toddler, his back still to the dragon. "Please. I want to go." Almost whining, Tyrus suddenly released Mircea and felt himself being lifted by his shirt collar.

"Mircea?" He scrambled frantically. "Mircea, help!" Legs danging in the air, Tyrus released a small sob. This was it. This was where he'd die. This is the day that-

Oh.

He was on the ground again.

Pausing as he stood on his legs, Tyrus suddenly felt an odd.. feeling within him. He couldn't explain it, but it was this feeling of a sudden tension, as if an invisible line was drawing him towards something. It felt similar to desire or a need. Whatever it was, he didn't like it.

Wobbling slightly, he slowly turned around, espying not only an air dragon, but an earth dragon before him. Tyrus simply stared, taking in both of them, though his eyes stood mainly upon the closer dragon, which was the earth. Her scales were a mahogany brown with green in certain areas, and her eyes were most peculiar.

That still didn't stop him from opening his mouth and releasing a scream.

"Get away from me!" He hissed, beginning to back away, only to stumble over his own feet and fall onto his rump. Shielding his face with his hands, he looked away, shutting his eyes. "Don't kill me! I promise I'm a good person!" Well, maybe that last part wasn't very true, but Tyrus would do anything if it meant he wouldn't be killed at that very moment. "I'll.. I'll do anything you want! I'll.." Trailing off, he felt an odd click in his brain before a voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

Hands falling to his side, Tyrus soon covered his ears with them. Why was she in his head? God, it felt like a parasite! Nothing was wrong, yet the boy slapped his hand against his ear, as if trying to get water out of them before realizing that this must be the mind link most spoke about. That meant..

"No." Speaking in monotone, Tyrus raised his eyes to the earth dragon. "Find somebody else to bond with. I'm not interested." He knew that it wasn't how it worked, but he still had to try. Still upon the ground, Tyrus glanced around at everybody watching before the dragon's words sunk in.

I'm not the right person for you, he continued, only he didn't say it. He.. mentally said it? How'd I do that? Pausing, he realized he had done it again. This is stupid. No, wait, sorry, I didn't mean to share that. How do I shut this off? Whacking his head with his hand once more, Tyrus paused once more when the crowd looked at him oddly. Glaring at a few individuals, he turned to Mircea before crawling behind him and picking himself up, using him as a shield once more.

He stood silent for a few moments, staring at the dragon who spoke her name. Daingean? What an odd name. He had never heard of it before, though he didn't expect to. What dragon would share a name with a human? Of course it must be unique. She seemed rather.. friendly? Almost bold or forwards in a sense, and she had called him intriguing. Was that a compliment? He wasn't sure entirely, but he'd take it.

Daingea? He asked her through the link, asking her if he pronounced it correctly. I'm Tyrus.. he began, and I don't want to be a rider. In fact, I didn't even want to come here. Could she sense his fear? See it in his eyes? What was he to do? Was there any way out of this?

That was when he saw a boy similar in age near the light dragon, offering her a gift.

A gift.

He didn't bring one.

He needed one! What if he was eaten or killed because he had forgotten one? Hands slapping around his body, Tyrus patted himself down. What was on him that he could offer her? Patting around, he found himself gripping the necklace her wore around his neck and yanking it off.

I didn't bring.. I didn't prepare a proper gift, but I have this necklace..

It was a typical thing. A simple shark tooth wrapped around a long black string. It was an item found in the market one day, and Tyrus had taken a liking to it. He felt bitter about leaving it behind, but he'd sacrifice many if it meant that Daingea wouldn't kill him. So, slowly, the boy inched out from behind Mircea, necklace in hand as he crept slightly closer, hand outstretched to show her the necklace.

See? I could put it around your neck, or perhaps your tail. If you don't like it, you can have.. Glancing around him, Tyrus begun to panic before looking back at her. You can have my shirt! Or my pants! You want my pants? I'll give you my pants! He was glad nobody could hear his humiliating words besides the dragon, though he wasn't sure if that was better or worse.

All he knew was that today was quite possibly the worst day of his life.

Orva
Light Dragon || Feminine || Mentions: Nirmala, Sindri, Julien
Indirectly Mentions: Aeolus, Sezyryn, Nurzhan

A deep, amused rumble sounded within Orva's throat when her person's voice washed through her mind. Her tail slammed against the ground repeatedly, almost as if equivalent to the human version of a clap. What an adorable human she had! To think, he was her very own!

The light dragon found her tail soon brushing his head, as if petting him. She patted and stroked his hair before she paused, head appearing right before him. What an odd mixture of colours! And oh! You have stars upon your face! Freckles. She was referring to freckles. Fascinated, Orva began to count them, her excitement similar to that of a child within a candy store.

Her rider wasn't like any other rider, she concluded. He was unique.

And his name was Sindri! What a pretty name to speak! Sindri.. Sindri.. Sindri, it rolled off the tongue effortlessly! Sindri Mendel, she repeated through the link, her scales glowing with amusement. You may call me Orva. Suddenly, she wished she had a surname. A name sounded so complete with one. Perhaps she'd think of one later. She didn't ponder about the thought for long, her attention consumed over the announcement of a gift.

For me? She chirped, eyes widening as Sindri began to rummage through his pocket. With curiosity, she stared at his hands, wanting to see what he pulled out. To say she was surprised was an understatement. The glow between her scales lit up brighter, evidence of her happiness upon the sight of two golden bands. They were shiny! Orva adored shiny! Nirmala would love to see this! Aeolus, too.

Nothing more? Why, these are perfect.

Lowering her head to Sindri, it was an invitation for him to place them on her horns. When he did so, Orva raised her eyes to look at them before pausing.

Without a further word, the light dragon bent, her head falling to the ground and scooping Sindri up onto her neck. She spoke nothing as she did so, beginning to move among the people once more, shoving many aside as she searched for Nirmala at a rapid pace. Her claws dug into the ground as she moved, creating large thumping noises that only halted when she stood behind the water dragon, who was currently near her human.

"What do you think?" She purred to Nirmala, tilting her head so that her oldest friend could see. It was then when she remembered Sindri upon her. Lowering her head once more, she slid him onto the ground before observing Nirmala. "I found him," she added on before glancing down, "And I see you have found your human, too. Mine is called Sindri, and yours?" A gentle look crossed her face as she watched her friend before glancing back to Sindri.

Nirmala, she spoke to him. My oldest companion of the sea. A pause. Do you know her human? She asked, glancing down to a boy with glasses. That wasn't all who caught her attention, for near her stood an earth dragon, and the air dragon from earlier. The one who made the sky rain diamonds. He never did respond to her, and she felt a deep desire to ask him once more to see the sparkling rain. She would do so later.

Orva took a moment to study the crowd, counting the dragons before her eyes narrowed. She knew many, but one familiar face not among the crowd was Nurzhan, a dragon opposite of herself, yet her friend. Was he still seeking shelter within the forest? She felt the need to seek him out, though she wouldn't do so until later. Orva would give him more time. If she felt he needed a push, she would go, but for now, she would wait.

Instead, she focused back onto the group before her, especially her human. She wasn't truly possessive over him. She didn't mind who crowded him or spoke to him, so long as they were respectful. Though she knew other dragons may not feel the same, even Nirmala. So, Orva made sure to keep a few feet away, waiting for her friend's invitation to come closer if she wished.

In the meantime, she stared at Sindri and the necklace. Put it on, she urged. Her tone wasn't demanding. It was more curious than anything, wanting to see how the necklace looked on him.

Your thoughts?

Nurzhan
Male | Dark Dragon | Mentions: NPC Girl, Marcella

To say Nurzhan was quite content observing from his safe distance was an understatement. He knew, base on the tug in his chest, that he needed to venture out soon and claim the human that would be his rider. But ever fiber of his being said no, and it was hard to ignore decades of instinct.

Movement near the edge of the forest caught his keen eye, spying the vague shape of a girl standing there. He couldnt tell from his angle if she was looking in or out, but it intrigued him that some part of her was drawn to the forest. Could this be the one?

Loud rustling, the sound of branches snagging and footfalls crashing into the earth snapped his focus to the side as another form sprinted into the forest. Unfortunately, directly towards him. Instinctively he hissed and parted his jaws, a plume of thick smog erupted from his jaws as she slithered around some trees and hid within the fog coating the forest floor.

Coiled like a snake, Nurzhan waited as the sound panting breath and fearful whimpers grew closer. The sound of someone following her dawned on him, but it didn't really register at that moment either. What did was the frightened girl coming into view. He could smell the fear on her, the tears staining her face, and she was close enough for him to see them too.

Hissing lowly, he clenched his front claws, lifting a foot off the ground as if ready to attack. His jaws parted in a menacing growling hiss, his eyes locked on her face, pupils contracted into dangerous slits.

A terrified scream ripped from her as she laid eyes on the coiled beast. Immediately she turned and bolted the other way, back towards the edge the forest. This allowed him to focus on the other human who had followed her in, something about this one pulling him towards her slowly. He used the shadows to cloak his appearance as he neared, tail mere inches off the ground as he manuevered around trees.

He vaguely remembered her saying something moments before the girl ran away screaming, though he hadn't been sure what it was. Once he was at a good angle, and he could see her face, something in him just... clicked. He couldn't explain it, but he knew immediately this was his human. His rider.

"It does not do well to roam the dark shadows of the forest unaccompanied, small one," his voice was hoarse and a little reptillian like, even through the mental link. Right around then, the male stepped forward, allowing a wash of light to bathe over him, dark scales shifting in color beneath it. His eyes locked on the girl as he stared down at her critically. This was her.

Her human was a certainly a... strange thing. Glasses, reddish-blond hair, pale features, and, if she looked close enough, she could have sworn that he had eyes of a dark brown. He seemed tall, thin and lanky, not a creature built of brute strength. He suited her, and her species', lifestyle well in that regard, if her assumptions were correct.

I will not eat your friend, she said slowly, regarding the flower he presented to her. Her blinks were just as slow, studying it. It was bright, coral and gold, contrasting against the hues that were across her body. Keep it for now. She said, leaning down closer to study it more, breath making the petals move a little bit. I have nowhere safe to put it just yet.

The water dragon flexed the muscles in her tongue, rolling the object trapped beneath it out, and allowed it to fall out from between her teeth, landing in the palm of one of her paws. It was a pearl, one of a deep blue shade. She extended it to him, waiting for him to take it before she put her foot back on the ground.

That is my gift to you. She said, lowering her head further, until it was almost on the ground, and she could be completely eye-level with the human.

I am Nirmala. What is your name, human?

The dragon's head snapped upwards at the sound of approaching steps, ones heavy enough to signify another dragon approaching. Something between a growl and a hiss escaped her mouth, jutting forward to trap her human between her body and the ground, spine arching like a cat ready to attack.

She whipped her head around to face where the noise had come from, only for her body to almost immediately relax at the sight of Orva. Her growled hiss lowered to something closer to a grumble, one that sounded from her chest. She moved, albeit slowly, to allow her human to be seen by the other dragon, although shifted to a position where the other three directions were covered by her own body.

This is Orva, she said through the link, nodding a greeting to her friend. She is my oldest friend.

"Hello, Orva," she murmured, angling her head down to study the human that came with the light dragon. He was shorter than her own, hair a much more distinct ginger shade, and face covered in... freckles? Did the humans call them freckles? "And hello Sindri."

She was glad that the small human knew to stay clear of her and merely beside Orva.

Introduce yourself to her. She is safe.
