Marcella Lane

Female || Dragon Rider || M: Open

[ind.] dragons, other students

A shiver ran down her spine and excitement flooded through her. Though from the calm look on her face and her casual stance, one might not assume she would feel that way. Marcella had been waiting for the next choosing ceremony for a while now. She had been eligible since she turned 15, but her parents had worried about the dangers that came with it and hadn't allowed her to come until now. As soon as she got word of the opportunity she finally convinced them to let her go, being their only child it was difficult, they didn't want her getting hurt or even killed. But now she was finally here.

Her blue eyes flitted over the terrain, and she felt a tugging sensation in her chest, she wanted this. Marcella shifted her stance to lean more on her right leg, hands crossed over her chest. With so many other people here, she knew her chances of actually bonding with a dragon were slim, but maybe she would get lucky this time. She had to be. Marcella wouldn't be allowed a second chance to come back, her parents wouldn't allow it and even if she did she may not be eligible the next time a Choosing Ceremony was held.

Marcella was aware that some of her friends might be here but stood alone. She stiffened as a girl brushed past her, and she turned her gaze to the sky where she had been looking. A dragon. What they all had been waiting for. The girl let out a little gasp, sounding fearful and she backed into Marcella. "Watch out," she quickly snapped, eyes locked on the sky. Her foot was squashed beneath the girl's boot and she pulled herself free, her black hair falling into her face and obstructing her view. She quickly stopped to pull her hair back into a high ponytail. She looked back to the sky to see the dragon entering and exiting the clouds above, heart racing.

A breeze washed over her and she calmed, Marcella always loved the outdoors and was looking forward to spending the rest of the ceremony out here. A sound then came from above, but not any noise, a roar. It came from the creature circling in the sky and Marcella immediately moved to look around, maybe more dragons were making an entrance as well.

She kept an eye on the one in the sky but was searching the terrain for more. Eyeing each crevasse carefully, and then looking to the sky as if another dragon might appear the same way the first did. Hopefully, she would be paired with one of these magnificent creatures.

Orva
Light Dragon || Feminine || Mentions: Nirmala
Indirectly Mentions: Asmodeus

A long neck twisted around a singular tree, a deep purr sounding from the throat of the massive dragon. From where she stood, she could espy the distant forms of humans. Orva didn't wish to be seen yet, but rather preferred to bask in the company of a water dragon for a few moments longer instead. Her head weaved around the tree, wrapping around it before making its way to the Nirmala, who had been her closest and oldest friend. Dragons, for the most part, seemed to prefer solitude, but not Orva. Her species was known to live among others, befriending any she saw and offering peace and unity.

"What an exciting day," she spoke, her neck continuing to wrap around the tree like a snake. Within her, she felt a certain.. pull. Her human was among the crowd, waiting for her. She wondered if they felt this feeling as well, just like she. Unlike other dragons, Orva enjoyed the company of humans, so long as they remained peaceful and kind. She knew of their kind and how they could create destruction and uproars, but Orva had a good judge of character. She knew not all craved chaos, thus, she gave many the benefit of the doubt. That didn't mean that she trusted humans, simply offered them a reason to prove themselves to her.

"To think, both of our people are out there, waiting for us in the crowd." Her pupiless eyes, both glowing and resembling small suns themselves, turned onto Nirmala. Upon her crown of antlers and spikes clattered several shells held together by a thick black string. It was a gift from Nirmala many moons ago, one that Orva treasured deeply. A gift in return to her own she had offered.

Nirmala and her held an intriguing bond. The water dragon offered gifts from the sea, and in return, she offered gifts from the land. It was a sacred bond, one that Orva cherished immensely. "Do you think that they'll like it?" She whispered to her friend, lifting her tail. Upon it rested a singular crystal wrapped in a leather string. It would be a gift for her human, whomever they may be. It was tanzanite, a rare, purple, transparent crystal found only in certain areas. For this one, she ventured to a volcano and had stumbled across it. It was one of Orva's most treasured possessions, and she had decided to gift it as a necklace.

Above her, the sound of a dragon flying could be heard. As she peered up at the sky, she could tell that it was a fire dragon. Raising her head to the tip of the trees, she watched them enter the vicinity of the humans, lunging at them and attempting to create fear. "I believe the humans need our presence now." Orva was a peaceful being, and she strived to ensure that order was constant.

"We may not have appeared first, but we'll offer the audience a show they won't forget, hm?" The light dragon wasn't one for showing off, but ever so often, she would feel the need to express her elegance or powers, simply to let others know of her presence. "Shall we?" She asked Nirmala. If she had an arm, she would be offering it to her friend, but instead, she offered her tail. Without another word, she unwrapped her neck from the tree and began to move forwards, her head weaving around the trees.

For a dragon as large and bright as herself, it was difficult to remain hidden, but Orva had managed to do so, crouching down and lowering her head to avoid being seen. "Close your eyes," she whispered as they neared the edge of the trees. Orva was one for grand entrances. She was a light dragon, after all. A dragon wise and powerful in knowledge who carried herself like a regal creature, and in a way, she was. She waited, patiently, until Nirmala closed her eyes. She didn't want her friend to strain her orbs after all.

And then, she lit up.

The faint neon glow between her scales increased, her body using the energy she had absorbed from the sun to power her actions. She wouldn't use all of it, but most of it. To use it all would be fatal and could potentially blind the audience or stun them for a short while, and all Orva wished to do was impress.

Slowly, the area around her and Nirmala had become a warm glow, until it increased, and increased, and increased, until at last, both of them were lit up, only their silhouettes being seen. Orva didn't have issues seeing through the light. It wouldn't blind her, for she was the creator of it.

Lighting up, she soon decreased the brightness. "You may open your eyes now," she spoke. "I made it so that, while it's bright, you may still see." Orva knew that Nirmala would want to put on her own little show to make their entrance even grander, and who was she to deny her friend that opportunity by blinding her?

Taking a step forwards, her single step made a loud sound against the ground, almost like a rumble. She took another, and descended forwards, only her form being seen amidst the light. Orva had purposefully allowed them to be slightly seen, but only their outlines. They were two simple forms moving forwards, and they continued, until Orva had stopped in the middle of the valley, her eyes peering down at the humans.

Glancing to Nirmala, a gentle smile formed, one that even held a hint of mischief.

"Your turn."

Julien Devereux
Male | Dragon Rider | Mentions: Mircea, Tyrus, Alexa, Open

Julien had arrived to the ceremony alone, though he arrived at the same time as everyone else. Being tall and lanky, he knew he should stay near the back so others could see without him blocking their view, but his excitement wouldn't let him. Slowly he pushed forward, weaving between people, offering a winning smile to anyone who shot him a look. He cared little for their irritation right now.

As he moved he spied a few familiar figures near the front and made his way over. No surprise to him, but Mircea was holding Tyrus Rafferty there, making sure the other boy didn't just take off and out of the ceremony. With them was Alexa, someone he knew a little bit, but wasn't terribly close with. He was sure she was there because of the others, being at least one of their friends, but, unlike them, she wasn't causing a scene.

Nodding gently to Alexa he clapped a hand on both of the other two boys' shoulders and grinned widely. "Come now guys! This is a time to be excited!"

Julien had to quickly duck his head as a large dragon, a fire dragon judging by it's appearance, swooped over them, close enough that he could have touched him if he wanted, or have his head knocked off if he wasn't paying attention. His grinned widened, if that were possibly, and an excited sound got caught in his throat.

"I pity the fellow who gets chosen by that beast," he murmured to the aggressive dragon who lunged and snapped, causing some poor kid to fall over and scoot backwards to get out of reach.

A bright light caught Julien next, and he found himself shield his face, trying to protect his eyes through his glasses which just seemed to amplify the light. No way. He though to himself as the source of the light dawned on him. There is no way there is a light dragon here! His excitement turned into awe as he peaked at the bright dragon, finding his jaw becoming slack. He was having to squint, but she was breath taking from where he stood. Depicted exactly as how light dragons always seemed to be, he was, for once, at a loss for words, and found himself leaning forward, and slightly on Mircea, to get a better look.

"Do you believe this?" He breathed finally, not able to hide the emotions rolling through his tall form. Even if she didn't choose him, which she probably wouldn't, he was still in awe to have seen one in person. Not many could say that.

Nurzhan
Dark Dragon | Male | Mentions: Humans, Dragons

A dark beast remained hidden within the forest, using it's shadows to disguise his own form so he wasn't picked up by the dull eye sight of the humans entering the field. His eyes peered out at them, a soft sound rumbling within his throat as they came into view. He had no real desire to be here, to have left his comfortable and hidden home only to bask in the presence of humans. It was beyond him on why he, of all dragons, needed to bond with a human. It practically went agaisnt his nature, and yet here he was, unable to fight the pull created within his chest.

He snorted as other dragons began to appear, their grand entrances call the attention of the humans to their forms. They seemed to relish ther attention, but it only made Nurzhan sink back further into the trees. A thick smog, a miasma really, leaked from his jaws as he bared his teeth in discomfort, anxiety really. The cloudy, dark smoke wafted through the forest, coiling around branches, acting as if it were merely a harmless mist. Nurzhan had been careful to fully fuel up prior to coming, comforted by the knowledge he could expel the smog if he needed to make a quick getaway.

He continued to emit the smoke slowly, letting it drift through the forest, and whisp at the edge of the forest. Most wouldn't see it unless looking for it, though it was likely the dragons in the field would be able to start smelling it soon. Nurzhan wasn't necessarily trying to hide from them though. Just the humans. No, he wasn't ready to step out from the shadows into the light just yet.

His eyes shifted when a bright light cast away many of the shadows in the forest, causing him to sink back further, body pressing against the ground like a cat. He closed his eyes for a bit until he practically felt the shadows creep back over him again. Only then did he crack them open, peering quietly out at the sight of a Light dragon and her companion.

Great
He thought to himself, and shook his head. Well, at least all eyes would be on the Light dragon and he didn't have to worry about being discovered just yet.

Nirmala
Water Dragon | Female | Mentions: Orva, Humans

Being so far from her beach, the part of the ocean that the dragon had claimed as hers, gave her a slight uncomfortable feeling. She knew, deep down, that she would not be returning to that place. She would not go back to her mighty, sandy beach. She would not get to go back to her home. She would, hopefully, find a new home here, among the other dragons and the humans, with Orva.

There was little that the water dragon did without Orva, her best friend. When they had first met, Nirmala had, regrettably, attacked the other, believing her to be a threat to her home. Orva, ever the patient creature, had left her a gift from the land. She had left a gift from the sea in return, and their bond had, slowly but surely, grown.

Fond memories resided within her about the times she had tried to teach the pale dragon to swim, and it had, obviously, failed. Orva had tried to teach her to fly, but, because her species was not made for flying, Nirmala had failed. Their only common ability was climbing, and, even then, they were not the best at it. Climbing was mainly left to the earth dragons, thankfully.

"Of course they will like it," she said to her friend, pushing slightly closer. Whilst she enjoyed her personal space, Orva was an exception. She had grown so used to the female throughout the many, many years of their conjoined existence, being apart was more foriegn than having her near. "It is a gift, a mighty one at that, and from a dragon such as yourself. A human would be the most foolish creature alive to think little of such a thing."

And she spoke the truth.

Nirmala had brought a pearl from a deep sea clam for her human, a gift unlike any she had given Orva. It was a treasured item, one that she had to dive down deep to get, and one that she would offer her human from the depth of her heart. Whilst she might not like humans very much, she wanted her human to like her.

The mention of making their entrance, alongside a creature who snapped and launched at the humans, had her humming a confirmation, moving closer to the light dragon. She knew what was to come, brushing her eyes closed and keeping a point of contact between her and Orva. She didn't wish to stray off to get lost whilst blinded by her own eyelids.

Before they even began walking, the dragon brought water up into her throat and mouth, boiling it and boiling it and boiling it. She wished to make steam, a mighty fog that Orva could detach the brightness within and they could stride out of, side by side, just as they always were.

With the confirmation of being able to open her eyes, Nirmala, too, opened her mouth, stretching her jaws wide open and surging the steam forward, allowing it to billow around them, and fill the space surrounding the two figures. Slowly, she closed her mouth, swallowing the water that remained and, and muttered: "Get rid of the light."

She waited a heartbeat for the light to be gone, before she opened her small, round wings and used them to push the steam away, showing their figures. Perhaps not as grand as the entrance that the light dragon had offered, it still showed off what kind of dragon she was, and her powers.

A low rumble came from her chest, and she swung her head around to gaze at the humans, irritation already curling in her stomach. She had to find hers in all of those?

"Good luck, my friend," she said, brushing against the light dragon and turning towards where she felt the strongest pull.

|| Sezyryn ||

|| Air Dragon || Male || Mentions: Humans and dragons

Indirectly mentions Orva

Through the white clouded skies a large shadow circled over head. There and gone in the blink of an eye.

A strange, unexplainable force had drawn the beast to the clearing, the same clearing he had heard stories of along his travels. A place of old where humans and dragons bonded. Connected for life. A low rumble grew in Sezyryns’s throat. Despite all his protests and fighting he still wound up here, the tugging he felt with the very core of his being, was stronger than his will. As much as he didn’t want to admit it, his rider was down there. A small easily squishable human, in the herd that gathered.

Hidden in the clouds the air dragon watched as others arrived, each displaying their own grand entrance. It had been a long time since he was so close to that many dragons. His nomadic lifestyle of going where ever the wind took him, meant he didn’t stay in one place for very long.

Sezyryn’s flying had slowed to a mere glide as he circled the valley. At war with his mind and the bond he tried to reason with the feeling, tried to convince it that this was wrong, and he shouldn’t be bound. But it was no use, his thoughts of protest only seemed to make the feeling grow stronger as his thoughts drifted to his human down below.

From down below as he watched, a bright light instantly caught his attention. Focusing on the source of the light down below, he became entranced. A light dragon exited through the dense wood, emitting a warm and inviting glow. When the light had died, Sezyryn shook his head. Slightly upset that the show was over. A strong breeze rustled his feathers, bringing up the sent of earth and human. Taking the in the scent, he groaned, accepting his fate. There was no denying it any longer.

Opening his maw Sezyryn took in a large breath, what came out was a roar that shook the skies. It was a sound of frustration, and defeat.

Closing his eyes for a moment, he gathered himself. From his mouth a white cloud that seemed to glitter in the light, widened, it clung to the surrounding clouds. Instantly freezing the vapor with in them. From the skies frozen droplets of water fell down to the earth like diamonds. And so too did the air dragon.

Wind rushed passed as he fell, his wings tightly tucked ot his sides, only increasing his speed. Sezyryn watched as the ground below drew closer and closer. Only at the last second before he hit the earth did his wings snap open, slowing his descent enough to where he could land without injuring himself. His feet hit the ground then instantly bent, cushioning his impact. His claws sunk into the soft earth.

Eyes of ice stared down the humans before him.

Mircea Cryolar

Male | Dragon Rider | Mentions: Tyrus, Alexa, Julien, Dragons

"Stop whining like a little bitch." came the firm reply from Mircea. He scrunched up his face as Tyrus tried to make him release him from the headlock he had him in.

He scoffed amused as Tyrus whined about changing his mind. Oh hell no. If Troy had basically dragged him here against his will, then Tyrus could damn well get over his fear. The male had loosened his grip a bit, but he had tightened it again then began arguing with Tyrus.

"Oh you dipshit. If I got dragged here, then you can damn well get over your fear of dragons." he hissed, as he watched Tyrus wildly look around. It was quite odd seeing him like this as the male was usually unafraid of anything, and he then began to tease him, "I hope your dragon drops you off a cliff. It'll be a good way to make them trust you. Or maybe you'll be fortunate enough to have a dragon that doesn't fly."

As Tyrus kept throwing his tantrum he had to refuse the urge to laugh at him. He gave an offended gasp when Tyrus mentioned his height, "Bitch. Just because I'm short doesn't mean I'm weak. I work out, thank you very much." he retorted as he moved with Tyrus, trying to avoid his thrashing movements. "Goddamnit man, calm the fuck down Tyrus before I disown you."

He only called Tyrus by his full name when he was really agitated by his bullshit. And right now he really was. His amber eyes were full of annoyance, and he rolled them as he heard Tyrus whine about his shirt, "Oh? I'm sorry for wrinkling your shirt." he replied, sarcasm dripping from his voice, "what in the hell do you think you're doing to my clothes?!"

And he crinkled his nose again in annoyance as he took in his clothes. His mother had sewn his clothes with love and the best material. He wore a frilly white blouse. The sleeves were long and the arms had delicate frills at the end that had been meticulously pressed. Now due to his entanglement with Tyrus it had began to wrinkle. Not to mention his pants were killing him. His mother had made them a bit too tight. She said it showed off his figure, and he remebered his horror at her saying that. He wore his father's kneelength boots that had a bit of a heel to them. They dug into the ground as he firmly pressed into it so he could hold Tyrus down.

His hair that had been neatly put up was now flying about with each movement. He let out a loud and annoyed sigh as Tyrus then began trying to appeal to Alexa, and he squeezed a bit tighter, "Don't look at her, look at me. She can't help you. I swear on the Gods I will drag you here unconcious if I have to." and he felt the large hands of the male slapping his arm. He hissed annoyed and in pain a bit, if it was one thing his skin got red easy, "Oi, you're gonna leave a bruise with all that hitting you little fucker. " and then he narrowed his eyes saying, "I would easily win in fistfight between us. Don't get cocky."

The male then began muttering under his breath strings of curses and threats at Tyrus as he continued to struggle holding the male. He then began going backwards a bit as Tyrus even then tried to kick. After holding him down for what seemed to be hours, he finally felt the tap on his shoulder as if asking for mercy or to be released.

He let released his grip from his arm, but then quickly grabbed a fistful of hair saying, " If you even try to run, I will knock your ass out." and he shoved him forward a bit scowling.

Now Mircea wasn't one to show his emotion, but whenever he was with Tyrus it was instant chaos. He found himself being loud, yelling and even fighting. He kind of enjoyed it, but he also enjoyed the confusion their relationship brought. Now, that he was done dealing with Tyrus he put on his usual calm expression with an impassiveness in his eyes. He didn't want anyone to think he was here to make friends, he already had more than he could hope for. His expression remained neutral as a large fire dragon made a large display of fear.

Oh god, what a terrifying creature he thought sarcastically. Maybe it was because of his adventures with his Aunt that he was used to seeing aggressive dragons. His attention was held when Julien began talking, and saw the other dragons entering. He moved up quickly catching up with Julien.

His eyes immedietly widened at the sight of a entrancing glow, and he felt his arms shaking and then found himself bouncing in excitement. He then began violently shaking Julien, "It's a Light Dragon, oh my god. My Aunt always told me about them, she'd be freaking out if she saw that creature." and he noticed the pretty display of the Water Dragon with her, "OH MY. What a beautiful dragon! I'm not suprised the light dragon has a companion. They're a very social creatures. And the scales on that water dragon are extremly gorgeous! What dragon do you think you'll have. I think for you, a dragon that's protective and loyal would be best for you, possibly a Water or Fire Dragon." he found himself rambling on, and his eyes lighting up with excitement.

He found this male easy to talk to. And one who he could share his darkest secrets with. He then tucked a loose strand behind his ear, and gave a big smile towards Julien saying, "I'm sorry if I'm rambling too much." and he found himself with his arms interlocked with Julien. Oh dear-

Then a magnificent sight caught his eyes. Something akin to a sparkling meteor. His eyes widened at the sight, it was breathtaking. It reminded him seeing frosty comets at night, and it seemed this dragon had a flair for showmanship. The dragon was beautiful and held a confident and almost commanding pose. He definetly was intrigued by the air dragon that had fell from the sky.

Persephone De Clare

Female | Squad Leader | Mentions: Brontes, Dragon Riders, Dragon

The young woman was in the Valley. However, she was far away from the site of activity. Yet, she sat at a vantage point where she could observe the newbies. She sat on the branch of a tree, watching the new kids come in. She had to stifle a laugh as some were scared by the dragons or had that starry-eyed innocence. Ah, to be young and inexperienced she mused inwardly.

Brontes, did I look that dumb when we met? she asked her dragon through their mindlink. She kept her gaze on the students, intrigued by them. It seemed she was getting a colorful bunch this year.

Her dragon was a handsome creature and she adored him. Persephone could stare into those electric purple eyes of his for hours, and not to mention the beatiful shades of purple and blue he was. Her dragon could be a grumpy creature, and she found it amusing. However, even with his grumpiness she knew he listened to her, and she climed down the tree she was in. She nearly toppled over, but she caught herself in time, and plopped down besides Brontes. Her emerald eyes full of curiosity, a rare thing to see on her face. Usually it was one of a stern nature, one that commanded, no demanded respect of those around her. However with her dragon she could be more laxed.

What do you think our team will be like? Hopefuly they're not a bunch of spoiled brats. That would be horrendous. And she gave a humorous chuckle through the link between them.

Persephone remember her meeting Brontes when she was 15 years of age. She was just a little girl with big dreams, and this dragon became a major part of her life. She hoped the young riders found their dragon, and made a good connection with them. She hoped they realized being a Rider was a partnership and not mastery over their dragon.

"This shall be an exciting day for the new Riders." she said knowing what was to come for them. And she felt a cool breeze wash over her as her lovely vermillion colored hair swayed in the wind, and she gave a mischevious grin toward her dragon.

Brontes

Male || Water Class Dragon || M: Persephone

[ind.] New Riders, Other dragons

Brontes was glad to keep his distance from the hoards of people down below in the valley. That many noobs in the same area was just too much, he didn’t envy the dragons looking to find their person. Of course it was fun to put on a show and make some kids scream in terror, but then actually finding the rider you bonded with would be difficult. Fortunately for him Freshwater Perse and scared walked right up to him.

He had been putting on the scariest display, rising from the lake in a cloud of mist and then blasting random trees with his boiling water breath. He hadn’t noticed her until Persephone walked up to him, arms crossed and seeming to be unimpressed. It had left him speechless, but when she spoke the tug in his chest had told her that this was his human. She ended up commenting on how he “wasn’t scary” and then he ended up blasting the tree right next to her. She didn’t react at all and just stood there staring at him, clearly unimpressed. But boy did he make their first ride eventful.

Persephone seemed to be thinking of that day now when she spoke to him through their mindlink. Wondering if she looked as dumb as some of the students now. Of course she did, and the story was quite hilarious in his humble opinion. Brontes ended up dumping her in the lake to put some fear into her, and douse that sassy attitude. Right as he was gliding off a step ledge too.

No sassy. He replied, You didn’t look dumb, just unimpressed until I dumped you into the lake. Then you definitely were, screaming and flailing about before you hit the water. You not only looked dumb, but also pretty clueless, it seemed as if you didn’t know how to swim! Your instructors had their work cut out for them, taking you on. Me being the natural I am helped, but you’ve made some progress since then.

While Brontes may have exaggerated some parts of the story, most of it had been accurate, he just liked to make fun of Persephone sometimes. It helped that he was a natural at it, she also made it easy. He then gazed up at his Rider, sitting in the tree above him. Brontes had rested his head on the ground, wings tucked at his sides when his rider nearly gave him a heart attack. Nearly falling out of trees now? He mocked, jerking his head up and giving a teasing glance to his rider as she sat down beside him.

For starters, aren’t all new recruits brats? I mean, even when we were recruits, there was this one Rider’s head I wanted to constantly chomp off. He was so goddamn annoying. We were way too mature for those squirts. But I guess there’s a slight chance the recruits would be half decent. Brontes had to laugh at the thought, these new recruits were lucky to have such a good Squad leader and dragon to help them.

“Of course it will be,” he spoke, finally out loud, “Though some may just be as unimpressed as Freshwater Perse with their first encounter. If they are, those young ones are in for a spicey first ride,” Brontes added, putting an emphasis on the nickname.

Persephone De Clare

Female | Squad Leader | Mentions: Brontes, Dragon Riders

Persephone heard Brontes response through the link and gave a mock offended gasp. Me? Sarcastic, never. Me? Dramatic, never. And she was shaking her head in amusement at herself. Then she listened to him recall their first meeting and she had to give a large smile. He was trying his best to look scary, but she saw right through his attempt. She remembers some boys running away screaming about a demon water dragon, and so she found the so-called demon and found he wasn't even that scary. However he made her pay for her words later on during the First Ride.

I did not look dumb ! she shouted through the link protesting her cheeks puffing up. I know how to swim. If anything you looked dumb trying to impress that female Water Dragon, what was her name Ticala? Oh, you were crazy about her, I had to listen to you swoon and gush about her every five minutes. Oh! And then she rejected you, and you were depressed for a whole two months. She clutched her hands to her chest and dramaticaly fainted, before opening an eye and looking at Brontes to catch his reaction.

Snickering she found herself schooing over to comfortabley position herself against Brontes and she looked at him for a second, a smile creeping on her face. Are you okay? Did I need to get you some more water, don't need you to be dried out. And she took care to scan his scales to make sure none were dehydrated.

It was the tree's fault not mine. She said frowning as she stuck her tongue out at Brontes. And then she raised a brow at his mention of the new recruits. Amen to that. I remember how bitchy some of my classmates were when I was chosen as Squad Leader. Like at first you were happy for me and then you want to be a fake bitch. Like go be fake somewhere else.

She paused when he mentioned the rider that annoyed him. Oh yea, wasn't his name like Augustus Ramsbottom or something? He was that scrawny kid with a rat face. He still gives me nightmares. And she shuddered a bit at the thought. I wonder what ever happened to him.

She then turned to him as he spoke out loud, "True, I feel like the ones who are unimpressed turn out to be the best riders, but those impressed can be good ones as well." and she groaned at his nickname for her and playfully hit his side and said, "Spicy rides are the best. Just the thrill of the sky or ocean is enough for me. Especially riding in a thunderstorm on the sea." and then she leaned back a bit, "Are you hungry?" she asked her dragon.
