Luna watched the wolves, seeming hesitant to go near the herd. As the lead mare reared again, the wolves howled once more before they started waking away, trying to act like they weren't afraid. Luna gave a small sigh before she looked back at the herd, making sure none got attacked while she wasn't watching. *Seems like the wolves didn't bother flanking* she thought as she gave a sigh. Most of her royals and guards didn't seem to be doing much with the wolves and she wondered if she needed to demote a few. *I'll figure that out once we find somewhere safe to rest* she thought.

After hearing a grunt Decibel cringed, her eyes closing as her muscles in her face all pulled tight. He glanced down to look at Novaks leg as he did slightly bend. Like one of his legs buckled. She let him prop himself against her a bit so he wouldn't fall over. "You alright?" Her voice was higher pitched with genuine concern for the male. Though when just as she finished asking she heard a howl as the wolves had retreated. With a sigh of relief she stood with proper posture and waited for a command or an order or something. Looking at the heard she saw other heads pop up and be more at ease, only helping her be more relaxed. She shook out her mane and tail to get the rest of the creepy uncomfortable feelings out of her mind. "So is it over now?" She lightly pranced in place with joy that they could move on now.

Romulous still had his wings at extent. He watched as glowing pairs of orbs faded into the distance; the eyes of the enemy faded into the shadows. He shifted his weight on his hooves, carefully folding his wings over his back. He looked around, his ears erect for any sign of a threat, instinctively looking back towards Luna. She seemed fine, if not a little frazzled. He willed his muscles to relax, tossing his head.

Lily was on the outer edges with her horn down before seeing the lead mare rear. Rearing with her, she watched as the wolves retreated. Letting out a relieved sigh, she cantered to the front. Circling the perimeter, her eyes on the forest around them, she finally decided the coast was clear. Trotting over to Luna, she said, "We need to move the herd farther away from the wolves in case they decide to come back. Should we keep following the meadow line or delve deeper into the forest on the other side?" Lily asked, tilting her head slightly her ears still perked alertly.

Night sighed relaxing as the wolves backed off. Ruffling his feathers, he pranced in place still wary before taking off into the skies where he felt safer. Luna and some of the royals were near the front while the herd seemed a bit frazzled. Wolves could do that to them. Night shook out his mane, hovering in midair as he caught his breath.

Shadow flicked his ears, it wasn't unusual that wolves back down from big herds like this one. Shadow just wasn't taking it for granted. They could be back at any moment, the herd had to stay ready. They would also have to move somewhere in order to sleep. Shadow saw Night take off, his little brother always nerve wrecking even though he pretended to be fearless at times. Shadow shook out his wings before walking around the herd. There was a guard and a unicorn missing but Shadow couldn't track them from down here, especially after the herd had moved around this area so much.

Shadow let out a sigh before moving to the edge of the herd, keeping his distance slightly but still close enough that he could hear what was going on. He didn't like crowds and the herd was definitely a crowd. He flicked his ears again, waiting for a signal to move out or something.

Novak snorted lightly and shook his head before looking at Decibel, his eyes round.
"I'm alright, thank you." He mumbled, unusually gentle. He looked up and when he saw the wolves retreat, he shoulders loostened up and he stood up straight, wincing. He looked down at his hoof that was bent. He set it straight and paced for a minute before sighing in relief that his hoof was alright.

Primrose sighed in relief but galloped over to Shadow for no reason at all. She decided not to bother him so she backed off, accidently hitting Novak's front legs and chest with her rump. She spun around, her ears tilted back as she inhaled sharply.
"Oh, just you. Hi Nova." She giggled at Novak.

Novak's pupils flicked to her face and he bent down his long neck, making direct eye contact.
"Don't. Start. And I would like for you to call me Novak. Nova doesn't suit me, stupid-" He breathed out, aggrivated.

Primrose snorted at him angrily, her head lowering as she horn aimed at his chest.

Novak laughed, his head bobbing up and down.
"Your a funny pony, now run along." He grumbled, turning back to Decibel.
"I hate her."

Lickit watched what had happened but ignored it and ran over to Luna, silent. She shook out her main and flicked her tail at the guards nearby, then backed off a little, feeling as if she had invaded Luna's personal space.
"Sorry.." She mumbled.

Ahadi reared before soring off, his wings stretched out and he sighed. He allowed the light wind to run through his wing feathers before he lowered himself to the ground, his hoove tips rubbing against the grass as he glided around. Eventually Ahadi landed and fanned out his wings, neighing.

Lickit watched what had happened, but she had ignored it and ran over to Luna, silent. She shook out her mane..*

Shadow flicked his ears as he heard someone come up behind him. Turning his head, he saw Primrose and Novak having a half heated conversation. Blinking, he walked over before getting between Primrose and Novak, "Primrose, why don't we go find some good grazing ground and leave Novak alone shall we?" He said, diverting Primrose's attention from Novak. Crisis diverted. For now.

Seeing the last of the wolves all leave she lifted her head in what she thought was triumph. Though it was quickly ended when she heard Novak snort. "I don't believe that." She sighed watching him straighten his leg out. O nnoo. Though after she watched him walk around on it and prance a little she knew he was alright. She gave a small winnie with excitement for him. "Guess you proved me wrong after all." She trotted over to him to support his body a bit more if need be. That's when are hit his chest. She watched their interactions where she seemed like a small child who didn't get the hint, and Novak sounded generally displeased with her existence. "I don't believe she knows that." She tried to state it plainly vut couldn't hold back the quriosity as another horse quickly removed her from the situation. But why, she seemed sweet eenough. She followed her with her eyes just to see what she did.

Luna pinned her ears just slightly. "I know we need to move" she said before she glanced around as to where. *some seem to think I've been around much longer than they have* she thought before she shook her head. The trees were where the wolves came from, and now they were far too obvious in the meadow before she finally made the decision to walk on the edge of the meadow. "Let's go" the lead mare called as she looked back to see a few already starting to fall in line as she moved towards the edge of the trees.

Horizon followed the alicorn. Marigold close behind. His golden wings were tucked neatly on his back. He felt his sister's warm breath and slowed down slightly until he was right beside her. "Don't wander off again please. It's my job to keep everyone safe and I can't if I have to worry about my own sister. Okay Mari?" He saw Marigold pin her ears back, she hated when he called her that. She sighed softly. "Okay, I'll let you know when I go to get a drink." He leaned into the younger mare. "Thanks."

Whirlpool galloped after the guard and caught up to the herd after a while. They were on the move and keeping close to the edges of the grassy meadow. "What's going on?" he asked one of the other guards. He was a chestnut pegasus with gold-tipped feathers. A similar-looking mare was next to him. "We're too exposed in the meadow so we have to stay by the edges of it." The mare flicked her tail in a way where she was asking the guard to join her again. "I should go." Whirlpool headed more towards the rear, where he could think without anyone bothering him. Luna was leading the herd as always with all the others following her. He focused on the swishing tails of the other members of the herd in front of him. He started to let his thoughts wander as he followed the others.
