Novak flicked his tail towards Decibel and continued to panic. He grunted and lifted his huge head high as he protected her. He allowed her to lean into him as his wings fanned out. Novak wrapped one of his huge feathery wings around her and then the other around Lickit, who was on his other side.

Primrose stood in the center of the herd, panicing.

Ahadi grunted, scared but not showing it.

Lickit felt secure in Novak's wing.

"I was praticing my magic. All the others have more powerful magic, and I wanted to try to show them that I have strong magic too. Then the wolves came and now I don't know what to do." The words flowed out of Whirlpool's mouth, seeming as though they forget to check in with his higher brain fuctions. His ears flicked back as a low rumbling sound came from the trees.

Luna raised her head and reared, spreading her wings, trying to indicate to the herd to get behind her and do the same. Her ears were pinned as she bellowed out, almost daring the wolves to even attempt to attack the herd. *I won't let the pathetic wolves take anyone* she thought as she watched ad a couple of wolves made themselves seen, looking at the herd hesitantly.

Novak stood on his hind hooves and spread his huge wings before he neighed, forching the tiny Lickit next to him to do the same.

Primrose reared, her horn glinting as she tipped her head down, her horn pointing at a wolve's head.

Ahadi's wings spread and he stood behind the guards, furious but stiff in fear.

Giving an ever so slightly disappointed sigh Axel looked Whirlpool in the eyes. "Well I can bloody see that now mate." He turned and fanned his wings, not only to make him look bigger then he was but also to protect the lad. He heard the growl and reared up. Adding to his size. "You blokes want a fight, you've got one." He pushed his massive wings forward creating a large gust of wind and stomped his hooves before looking back at Whirlpool. "When I say run you best well do so." He took steps forward and kept a sharp eye and ear on lookout. Only smelling wolves immediately and the very faint smell of the heard far off. Well ain't this brilliant aye. "Right, I do believe if we go about the bank yeah, we may be able to out maneuver them. As I do think theve split up." He turned around and started off in the opposite direction he last knew the wolves went with. It also happened to be near the thinnest part of the forest to reunite with the rest of the heard. "Right this way, step lively." He quickly changed pace to a slower gallop.

Keeping close to Novak as he wrapped a wing around her she relaxed and took a deep breath ignoring the scent of wolves. She shook her mane and tail amd took a step back when he and the other horse who was taunting him reared up. Giving a slight huffshe could see Luna practically daring them to try her. Why must you be a hero. We have gaurds for a reason. Though as the thought went threw her mind she realized how selfish it was and was immediately disappointed in herself. So she decided to just stand there quietly. Uncertain of if she should do anything at all. Yes she felt the breeze from Novaks wings, the crisp dusk air concentrated with the heavy fog continuing to roll in.

Shadow saw Luna rear and spread her wings and copied her. Spreading his own wings to their full length, he reared, letting out a bellow as he stamped the ground. He was ready to fight and it showed as he pinned his ears back. He could feel Night beside him flapping his own wings. The wolves had let them be seen now but were hesitating. A good sign for them.

Night trotted to Shadow's side, flapping his wings and rearing a couple times. Throwing his head, he stamped, staying close to the unicorns in case the wolves tried to go for them. He could see a few, but they were hesitating. For good reason too as the pegasus's pumped their wings, and the unicorns lowered their horns. Night could see the guards and royals in place with Luna in front of the herd.

Lily trotted around the herd one more time, noticing two were missing. A unicorn and a guard. At that moment, Luna reared pumping her wings. Moments later, several of the others did the same. Lily reared before spotting the wolves looking at the herd hesitantly. Going back on four hooves, she trotted to the front where she lowered her horn at the wolves, throwing her head. She wouldn't get into a fight until necessary but she hoped that guard would make it back safely with that unicorn.

Daisy stared at confusion at the amount of the herd that had stopped. She had kept walking when some of it was panicking. She stared back and perked her ears. She still couldn't see or hear anything out of the ordinary. She then flew up above where everyone was standing. Now that she was closer she saw that they seemed to be in a guarding stance. She then landed behind the guards and asked, "What's happening?"

Rom craned his neck around to look over at Daisy. "Wolves." He stated, his voice a bit rough from shouting commands to other horses around him. His choclotaley eyes took on a softer tone when meeting Daisy's; he could tell she was a little frightened. He returned his attention to the few wolves that had so foolishly presented themselves, his nostrils flaring. His chest heaved with his breath, his wings stretched to their farthest reach, the barbed tips of his feathers aimed threateningly. He looked like an eagle ready to strike.

Novak snorted. Crap- He thought to himself as he stepped in front of Decibel but bent his leg the wrong way. He let out a pained grunt but stood anyways. The tips of his feathers aimed towards the wolves, copying Romulus. Though he wasn't a guard, he felt like one. He moved a hind leg in front of Decibel's chest and nodded to her.

Lickit's eyes widened as she pressed against Novak's side as she crouched a bit. She decided to stand tall and bent her head down, trying to be strong as she aimed her horn at the wolves. Why must there only be a little amount of guards? There should be like, ten, not six! She yelled to herself in her mind. She backed off a little bit from Novak and lifted her head as she snorted.

Primrose stepped forward again, but accidently hitting Shadow's rump with her chest. She ducked her head in panic and opened her jaws to speak before she paused, catching the eye of one of the wolves. She shivered and looked away before backing off a little bit as she aimed her horn at the wolves.
"Sorry Shadow-" She mumbled quickly before she spun around and cantered towards the rest of the herd.

Ahadi shook out his wavy black mane before he flapped his wings lightly, his eyes flickering at the wolves before he met Novak's eye, looking confused. Novak seemed to have turned on him because Novak had turned his head all the way back, his ears forward as he snorted at Ahadi before turning back. Is he traitor?! Ahadi asked himself as he panicked, his eyes wide.
