Axel kept pace with Luna as she took note of his report. He'd be lieing if he said he didn't notice contemplation in her eyes. Though he decided to ignore it as he didn't see it as his business. He watched as another Mare walked over and greeted them. He let Luma speak first and followed "Good evening to you." Then his ear perked as he looked to Luna, a howl rang on in the evening sky. "Make sure everyone is ready to move or scare off a small pack." He shook his wings and stomped his hooves as he turned around. "Way ahead of you. And if you need assistance let me know." He stormed upward and landed in the middle as he saw Luna walk off to the smell in the direction the sound came from. "Everyone, I need you either ready to fight or be able to get out of here as fast as possible." He stood on his hind legs and beat his wings to get everyone's attention. "For the safety of everyone be ready." He took to the skyline and looked around to see what he could though with the fog it would be difficult. |

Decibel thought she had caught him off gaurd and felt pretty bad about it. "Did I startle you Novak? I didn't mean to." She gave a huff of annoyance at herself. So typical of me to just be annoying. "Well you just looked kind of lonely. And in all fairness I was bored." This is when another Mare jumped in and challenged him to a race. "Don't want to." He called after her as he looked and sounded just sad or disappointed. "Are you sure your al.." She was cut off by an erie howl then one of the gaurds telling them to be ready to run or fight. She dipped her head really low, almost touching the ground and tilted her head at Novak in a panic. O what do I do? She inhaled some air and smelled the wolves causing a shiver to go down her spine. |

Lily listened before nodding to Luna. Trotting through the herd, she calmed those that were panicking down. Making it to the perimeter, she did a sweep, keeping her eyes peeled for the wolves. They didn't need to lose anyone to wolves.

Night lifted his head as Luna gave out a call. Trotting over to the herd, he stayed close to everyone, seeing the guards. Night wasn't much of a fighter, more of Shadow. Speaking of which, Night looked around before spotting Shadow near the fringes of the herd, ready and waiting to fight. |

Novak stiffened and moved closer to Decibel.
"No, you are fine, and yea, you startled me, it's all good though. I'm just.." He looked away, his ears back as his tail swished lightly.
"I don't have any friends, I'm not used to anyone talking to me."
Novak looked at Decibel and then at where the howl came from, his large feathery wings fluttering before he lifted into the air and scanned around for a moment before landing next to Decibel again.
Primrose stiffened and her eyes widened at the howl and moved closer to the rest of the herd.
Novak walked onto Decibel's other side and nudged her shoulder and pushed her to the rest of the herd before standing next to her again, protective.
Lickit pressed against Ahadi's side as he lifted his head and let out a small, quiet whinny. |

Lucky was startled by the howl. She whinnyed and reared up. Wolves were one of her worst fears. She tried to calm herself down. She took a deep breath and managed to stop panicking, but she was still frightened. ... Circut spread his wings. He looked in the direction that the howl came from. He tucked his wings in, and breathed in, smelling only the scent of wolves. He tossed his mane and blew out softly, prepared to follow the orders to fight or run. |

Decibel would be lieing if she said she wasn't panicking. She looked over at Novak then to the rest of the herd. Breath, slow down. There are gaurds and Luna will protect us. Right? As Novak nudged her in the group more she felt safe. Secure. "Well, maybe we can be lonely together." She didn't really know what she was saying. She was scared, tired, and in general exhausted. She watched as his posture changed from friendly and just a but annoyed to protective of her. She shook her main out and swisher her tail. She looked up to see one of the gaurds circling, the same one who got them ready for something. She could feel her heart beat in her ears as she gave a sigh. With her head lifted she saw just about everyone's reaction. Either ready to fight or scared. "I hate wolves." She leaned closer to Novak without realizing it as he breathing quickened. |

Shadow heard Luna's call and the wolves and looked over to see Night nearby. The guards and royals were circling the herd to make sure no one had wandered off. Trotting over, Shadow stayed on the fringes of the herd, ears alert and ready to attack if necessary. Usually wolves didn't attack big herds like this as it took a pair just to take down one horse. And as they were not horses, it might take more. Shadow stayed alert anyway, scanning the forest nearby. |

Whirlpool looked up from the small lake he was at. Before the howl came, he had just been working on making bigger waves, it appeared that he maxed out at two feet tall, but now he was alert. I can't die now! I refused to be killed by wolves. He looked up at the sky. If I were a pegasus all I would have to do is take off and I would be safe. Whirlpool spun around, he though he saw a flash of gray fur. Why did I wander from the rest of the herd? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- Marigold jumped into the air, when the howl started. I'm in the air. I should be safe. She took deep breaths, trying to calm herself. Her bright colors stood out, something that made her jumpy as she landed. She would gallop as far as she could, so that if something came after her, Marigold's wings wouldn't be tired. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- Horizon flew around the herd, looking to see if anyone was missing. I don't see Marigold. Horizon didn't worry to much about her. He knew his sister could take care of herself and she could fly out of reach from the wolves. He put his focus back on the task at hand. |

Axel decided his main goal was counting all of the unicorns as the couldn't just fly away, putting them at greater risk. He went lower and realized they where missing one. He didn't bother with new as they went a priority. But numbers. Making sure there was the right amount of everyone. I think its the one that does water stuff? Not being certain about who it was he followed a faint scent. Gotcha. He kept on till he saw a unicorn by a lake and knew it was them who was missing. The issue it that they were on the lake at the other side of the woods. Everyone else was together in the clearing of the other side. He flew in to get a closer look. "Hey. What on God's green earth are you doing." He landed beside him to get a clear answer. |

Hurricane was with the herd when he heard the wolves howl. He quickly looked towards the place the noise came from. Wolves. He thought. He heard another guard tell the Pack to be ready to either run or fight. He turned to the herd and started counting. Winter's Shadow looked up, no longer grazing. Wolves, huh? Well, Hurricane - er, Hurricane and the other guards - will take care of them. Or we can run. Winter's Shadow always thought of Hurricane before the other guards. She knew he didn't always like that, but she couldn't help it. They were close, and always would be. She looked for Hurricane and walked over to him. "Hey Hurricane." She said. Hurricane was startled. "Don't do that." He said, but not unkindly. Now he had to count all over again. Fun. "What do you need?" He asked. "Just nervous." Winter's Shadow said. She looked around, absolutely hating the fog. Why did there have to be wolves tonight, of all nights? Hurricane simply nodded, acknowledging what she said, but not replying. He had gone back to counting the herd. |
