Kyomi
Female | 4 Years | Pack Member | Mentions: Eira, Takara, Akousa, Cyre, Casek, Kallik

The female was quiet during the interactions, her ears swiveling as each wolf was speaking. Her attention swiftly shifted directly to Takara and Cyre, switching between the two periodically. They both had asked her the same question, so she decided to answer them both.

"I'm doing alright, thank you," her voice was low and quiet, not the same volume as when she was comfortable. There was just too many wolves near her, and it was beginning to make her a bit uncomfortable. Not to mention the tensions coming off her best friend. She understood the paler female was protective over those she cared for, like herself or Takara, so she had expected nothing less. Sometimes, though, the tensions would run too high, and Kyomi needed to flee from the scene.

This was quickly becoming one of those scenes with Akousa. He primarily was addressing Takara, though had sent her a little nod of acknowledgement, which she offered a smile back in return to. However, she found herself looking around, finding a path from the wolves to leave without pulling a lot of attention to herself.

Gently she nudged Eira, a subtle but silent gesture to let her know she was moving away from the growing group. Standing up, her ears flicked when Casek, one of the pack males, plopped down near Takara and spoke. She smiled a bit and nodded gently to him, but then immediately began to edge away from the group.

She went slow and careful at first, but the minute she was free and clear of them, she began to trot away, heading a bit towards her den. As she was moving away, she looked over her shoulder, wanting to be sure Eira knew where to find her afterwards, however, as she did, she felt the distinctive feel of fur and bone beneath her foot.

Squeaking loudly, the female jolted into the air, her eyes whipping around wide from being startled. Unfortunately for her, to make matters worse, when her paws came down, she found that they met the tail again, and she hiked them up once more. Only this time she didn't have the momentum to go up. Instead it sent her careening forward, sending the poor female face first into the dirt.

Thankfully Kyomi was skilled enough with falls that she rolled to her side at the last moment, awkwardly sliding a bit across the ground, her back legs flailing behind her for a moment, before following suit. It felt like ages before she finally was still, and all she wanted to do was lay there and die.

Then she remembered she had just stepped on someone's tail and panic rolled through her like an ocean wave. Squeaking she lifted her head to look over her shoulder at the poor soul whos' tail she stepped on.

"I am so sorry," she barked out quietly as her gaze landed on Kallik, one of the male's in the pack and Casek's brother. "I am so sorry, I wasn't paying any attention, and I should have, but I wasn't and oh gods I am so sorry," her voice was rattling off a mile a minute as she pushed to her feet, wincing in the process. It had hurt to fall, but her concern was on the fact that she had stepped on his tail.

'Oh god. What if I broke it?' Was all she could think of, and she found herself staring at Kallik in horror, trying to rake her brain for any remembrance on if she heard or felt a crack when she stepped on the tail. Had she? It was possible. She probably did, she had gained weight from her pregnancy, it was definitely a possibility she had broken his tail.

"I am so so so sorry, Kallik," she whined again, her ears pinning against her head.

Kallik

4.5 || Male || Pack Member || Mentions: Kyomi, Casek [ind.], Pack [ind.]

Kallik soon recognized his brother's voice join in the conversation, he figured he should go join soon, but was still a tad tired and wanted to rest a little more before hopping into their conversation. He stood to reposition himself, shaking out some of the dust from his pelt before facing away from the group and resting his head on his paws once more. Kal was hoping to drift off for a bit since there didn't seem to be a pack meeting being held when he felt something step on his tail. Kal whipped around expecting to see Casek messing with him again, especially after the ear-bitting stunt he had pulled just earlier, but he quickly scented that it was a female.

He stifled a yelp as she came down on his tail a second time, and that's when he realized that the tan blur was Kyomi. Kal jumped up and spun to face her and she let out a squeak. He wondered if it was a joke, but quickly determined by the squeak she made, that she had just run into him on accident and had truly meant no harm. The male's gaze automatically softened, not that it had been hard before, but it had appeared surprised and he didn't want her to take that the wrong way.

The stunned female quickly rattled of an apology, but seemingly felt the need to do it again and spoke even quicker, "I am so sorry, I wasn't paying any attention, and I should have, but I wasn't and oh gods I am so sorry,"

Kal opened his mouth to reply when he saw her wince as she stood, and quickly rushed over to try and help nudge Kyomi to her paws. He then looked her over and assessed her for any more injuries she may have gotten from her rough fall. Then it dawned on him, that this female was also pregnant! Of course, he had known, the others wolves in the pack sure do talk, and she was starting to show a bit, but it wasn't too obvious yet.

Now that her tumble was over he remembered to speak, "Oh it's alright, anyone could have accidentally tripped over my tail," He started, Kal went to look her in the eyes as he spoke and found pure horror, he suddenly found himself rambling on and claiming it to be his fault, which really he thought it now was. "I practically brought it upon myself when I turned away from the pack and left my tail out in the open!" he assured her.

Kyomi apologized again and he almost cut her off, "Kyomi, it's alright," he said gently. Suddenly squinting off towards the others, a thought suddenly crossed his mind, "No one over there said anything to you, to make you run away like that. Right?" Concern filling his amber eyes, "And are you alright? You had quite the fall," he added, turning his gaze back to the shaken female, noticing she had pinned her ears.

Leviathan
Male | 5 Years | Alpha | Mentions: The Pack, Koa

The male had settled down on the rock, reverting to his more stoic nature as the pack gathered near by to converse. He hadn't called the meeting yet, wanting to think through his ideas prior to giving it to them, he wanted to be prepared in case there was push back or questions. He doubted any of the former would occur, he wasn't going against traditions too much with the hunt, but he couldn't be sure.

Truthfully, Leviathan had to be careful with the decisions he made, knowing many of them would be scrutinized by the wolves who didn't support him. When he took over and then proceeded to demote the betas, he had caused an uproar, disheveled the pack. He had followers himself, but so did the Betas, there was even a chance they had more too. They would knit pick every decisions he made, so he knew he had to be careful while also trying to make change.

His thoughts were interrupted by an odd, distant sound. It wasn't a normal sound, something caught between a yelp and howl. It concerned to hear such a noise, the pack was silent in practically anything they did. Howling was not permitted unless absolutely necessary, so while it wasn't a true howl, it still worried him.

However, it wasn't followed by anything else, so he chose not to respond for the moment. He would keep it in mind, maybe send out a small patrol to coordinate up with the sentries, see if they saw or heard anything. He knew Koa and Ronin, which were the sentries in that direction, were far more than capable of handling most things. Lev would rather be safe than sorry though.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, the male focused back on the task at hand. He would call the meeting soon, he just wanted to wait a little bit longer. Let the pack kind of socialize a bit, encourage bonding and all that.

Kyomi
Female | 4 Years | Pack Member | Mentions: Kallik

The female let out an audible sigh when Kallik didn't seem to be hurt nor angry when he turned around to her. Offering a small smile when he helped her to her feet, she felt the relief beginning to flood through her. Shortly after her shoulders sagged a bit, and she found herself relaxing with a slight thud onto her haunches. The action pulled another small wince from her, but it was just a mere twinge.

"It wasn't your fault, I truly just wasn't paying attention. I don't think I had realized how far I'd gotten so quickly. I was just trying to move away from the crowd," she softly explained, her head falling a degree. Pale yellow eyes glanced up at the male she had stepped on and offered a soft smile a bit when he continued to show concern for her.

"Oh no, no one said anything to me," she assured him, a small snort erupting from her. "If someone had, I'm pretty sure Eira would have eaten them," her nose wrinkled a bit with a small laugh and she shook her head. "She's very protective," she cringed when she realized that the pale female in question definitely heard, possibly saw, everything that happened.

Quietly she looked at Kallik in the eyes, not bold eye contact, more of a sheepish look on her face. "Are they all staring?" That's the last thing she needed, everyone staring at the pregnant she-wolf that just stepped on another tail and plunged her face into the ground.

Koa
Male | 7 Years | Eastern Sentry | Mentions: NPC Rivals

Koa was in a very bad position, and he knew it. Outnumbered four to one, stuck in a position that he couldn't move from due to jaws latched around his hind leg, a snarling wolfs face trapped between his own teeth, and the other two closing in on him with dizzying speed. He didn't even register who it was that dug their fangs into his side, lifting his forelegs to draw the wolf trapped in his ivories' embrace ever closer.

His chest met the throat of the struggling wolf, and he forced it onto the ground, placing a paw on its face to keep it locked in that position when he lifted his head, baring his teeth at the attackers around him. He was trained for this. He was trained to survive these situations, to figure a way out, to bide the pack enough time to help him. But even the most trained wolves struggled in four against one confrontations.

He needed to buy enough time to howl. To properly howl. The Dark Forest Pack was built on secrecy, on living in the darkest shadows and remaining unseen. It was why their hunting parties had alternating seasons. Howling was strictly forbidden unless you were in a life or death situation. And, currently, Koa would definitely class this as a life or death situation. But giving himself enough time to howl between the flashing teeth and aggressive snarls was near impossible.

The onyx canid twisted his head around, snapping his teeth at the two circling wolves. Fur and flesh were missing from his flanks, sides and shoulders, areas that they had gotten to when he had been preoccupied. He couldn't last beneath such heavy attacks for much longer, he knew that. But he also knew that, with a pup, Ronin wouldn't have reached the pack yet. For once, he cursed the fact that their pack owned such a large territory, wishing nothing more than to be a small, local pack where the borders were close enough to hear someone shout. Help would have been here by now if they were.

Deciding to say screw it, Koa snapped his teeth one last time before jerking his head back and giving the loudest, most powerful howl he could give. There was no other way to tell everyone, to tell the pack, how much trouble he was in. He hoped, prayed, that Ronin would keep to her duty of making sure the pup was safe before returning to him, but he knew that he would have turned back if it had been her that delivered the sound.

One of the wolves lurched forward, taking the opportunity, and dug their fangs into the base of his throat. The angle that the attack had come from made it miss most important things, but it still cut off the howl when he flailed and struggled against the hold, desperate to rid himself of the grip that could mean death.

But this attack--it would be death, wouldn't it? It would be death for him. He was eternally grateful that he had sent Ronin back with the pup. She would be safe among the pack. She would survive. She would train the newest sentries that would take their paired position, the position that she would no longer have to fulfill with his demise.

Koa felt the side of his body hit the ground before he realized the weight of his attackers had crumpled his frame. Instincts more than thought made him struggle, made him snap his teeth and bite at his attackers, made him twist and wriggle, clawing and scratching with a desperate, primal desire to live, even when his mind had come to terms with the idea that he would die here.

He was just sad to be leaving Ronin before they retired together.

Enigma
Female - Pack Member - 4 years - Mentions: Kyomi, Kaliik, Lev (indirectly)

The monotony before her made Enigma zone out for a few seconds. A slight breeze blew through her dark pelt prompting her mind to return to the moment. Her hazy eyes scanned the pack. The once three wolves that had gathered around the boulder had now grown to include almost the majority of the pack. It felt overwhelming to Enigma, but she decided to embrace the opportunity to stay towards the edge of the group to observe the pack's interactions with each other. It would come to a great advantage later on, it always did.

The pack started to stir a little when the embarrassing scene of Kyomi's fall captured some attention. Enigma chuckled slightly under her breath at Kyomi's whining. Clumsy. Enigma was fully aware of Kyomi expecting pups. The majority of the pack knew. Gossip and talk seemed to be all the pack ever did besides the occasional effort to survive. At least, this is how Enigma saw things through her pessimistic mindset.

A sense of surprise made Enigma's ears perk up when she observed Kallik's behavior towards the accident. Why would he care? Enigma expected (despite not knowing the male wolf well) him to growl or snap at Kyomi. Guess I am wrong. It took a minute for Enigma to realize she was staring at the she-wolf. There was something about her that she admired but hated at the same time. She kept her consistent cynical view of the pack when she thought through what she really thought of Kyomi.

Before she could finish her thought, Enigma found herself slipping through to approach Kyomi. She wasn't sure if this was going to help or make the situation worse as it had already passed, but Enigma wanted to find out because of her curious nature.

"Kyomi, are you alright?" She asked in a gentle and calm tone. It was something she wasn't used to doing, but she figured she would give it a try. However, there was a lack of motivation to be sincere. "Golly, I hope you didn't break anything. I think Kallik's tail will survive." Switching her tone, she let out a laugh to lighten the moment. She nudged Kyomi playfully. "To be honest, I think the pack was too distracted by our new and improved alpha to notice anything." She winked and chuckled, but than a slight, unfamiliar sound rang out. "…and that distant howling…" She trailed off. "Did you hear that?" Enigma felt panicked. That isn't good.

Kallik

4.5 || Male || Pack Member || Mentions: Kyomi, Enigma, Leviathan [ind.], Pack [ind.]

Kallik seemed to relax more as Kyomi let out a sigh and seemed to relax, he gave his tail a light wag to show he was uninjured. The female let out another wince, though quite smaller than her last, and concern filled his eyes once more, Kal hoped Kyomi didn’t have any other injuries, and that her pups were alright, she had quite the tumble. "It wasn't your fault, I truly just wasn't paying attention. I don't think I had realized how far I'd gotten so quickly. I was just trying to move away from the crowd," she explained.

“Oh it's quite alright,” Kal nodded, trying to break the ice he added, “Besides, it was the most spectacular fall I have seen,” he grinned. Once Kyomi confirmed that no one had said anything to upset her, Kal nodded, pleased that she was only trying to leave the crowd and that no one had upset her. "If someone had, I'm pretty sure Eira would have eaten them, she's very protective," Kyomi spoke,

“Ah yes, you both seem quite close, I can definitely see her doing that now that you mention it,” He nodded. Kyomi suddenly turned to look him in the eyes, more of a sheepish look crossed her face, "Are they all staring?" she asked. With a quick glance over towards the others, Kal determined that no one seemed to and he turned back to face the tan wolf, “ I don’t believe so,” he said, shaking his head. With a glance back up, he did notice one wolf now looking there way. “Oh wait, I believe Enigma is now looking over here,” Kal whispered, looking away from the black wolf. “And it appears that she is coming over here now,” he added, tone still hushed. “Kyomi, are you alright?” Enigma asked calmly, once she had arrived at the small group. Tone switching as she added "Golly, I hope you didn't break anything. I think Kallik's tail will survive." ending it with a laugh.

Kal’s eyes narrowed, “No,” he said coolly, “Kyomi didn't break anything, my tail is fine. It was mostly my fault anyway, I left my tail in her way.”

Suddenly aware of how defensive he sounded, Kal sat back on his haunches and did his best not to allow his surprise to show, but she shot an apologetic glance at Kyomi. He was naturally a bit protective of his friends, and he considered Kyomi to be a good acquaintance of his, that must have been why he acted out quickly like that. His ears twitched as he considered what to say next but the black wolf spoke up again, her voice sounding more playful this time but he ignored what she said as a howl sounded. “Did you hear that?” Enigma spoke,

A slight feeling of panic coursed through the male, howling was only for dire situations so the pack's location wouldn't be given away, and it sounded distant, so there was a good chance it was one of the sentries. They must be in trouble. Kal jumped to his paws, “Yes I did, and it sounded like it was coming from the eastern border, though it was faint” he said, nearly confident in the location as he reflected on where the sound had come from. “We need to let Leviathan know immediately, the sentries that normally guard that border are out there, I haven't seen them at camp, and by the sound of it they may need help.” Kal rushed, muscles tensing, “Or at least alert some of the others in case he doesn't feel the need to do anything about it,” he added, unsure of how their new alpha would react to such a statement.

Ronin
Female | 7 Years | Eastern Sentry | Mentions: Koa, Orion, NPC Rivals, Pack

The entire time Ronin was running she was having doubts about leaving her partner behind. It may have been what they trained for, may have been their duty, but she wasn't ready to lose him yet. And there was something heavy in the air that was weighing on her, seeping into her pores and filling her with dread. What if they didn't get there in time? That was the question. What if she failed him because she wasn't fast enough?

Her ears swiveled to the pup when he spoke and she shook her head, not sure how to explain it to him. "It's my duty to my partner, my rank, my pack, that I get you to my pack," she answered, trying to explain it so he understood that she wouldn't be leaving him behind to get the pack.

"Koa is a strong wolf, he can handle his own, and he will keep them at bay to give us time," she said, her voice filled with pride. Koa was one of the strongest wolves in the pack, of that she had no doubt, but even he could fall under the right circumstances.

"I'm sure he will--" the female was cut off by a howl. An actual howl. It had been so long since the female had heard a howl that it took her a moment to realize what it was, and then who it was. A rush of emotions clouded the female's mind, and her lips curled into a snarl. It wasn't directed towards the pup in the slightest, more so the wolves who dare harm Koa enough to cause him to howl.

"You'll have to go without me," she began, her voice hoarse and thick with emotion. "You are safe with my pack. Keep running in this direction, you'll eventually get to a worn trail, keep following that. It will get you to the den site. If anyone sees you, tell them Ronin sent you," her eyes practically burned as she looked at the pup. "That is the most important part, remember my name: Ronin."

Turning the female's muscles tensed and she growled, muzzle wrinkling. "Now run, little one. Don't look back," was all she said before surging forward, back towards the way they came. Paws thudded against the ground as she ran, her ears pinned back, long strides making the female streamlined for maximum speed. She was a larger wolf, designed for power and strength, but she was still fast, not as fast and agile as smaller wolves, but fast enough.

It took Ronin far less time to return to Koa as it had taken to her to leave. When she spied the pile of wolves atop him, trying to finish what they had started, Ronin practically saw red. There was no good way to go about getting them off of her partner, but that wasn't going to stop her.

With rage fueling her, Ronin snarled loudly and lunged forward, using her running moment to propell her into the wolves atop Koa. When her body collided with the other wolves, she snapped and snarled at them, trying to rip away any flesh she could get her teeth into, until her jaws closed around the side of one's face. A sickening crunch, followed by a sharp yelp and whine filled the air as Ronin bit down with all her force. She growled the entire time, glaring daggers at the other wolves as the wolf in her jaws flailed for it's life.

All she had to do now was buy time. Pick up where Koa had started.

Orion
Male || 5 Months || Pup || Mentions: Ronin
Indirectly Mentions: Koa, camp wolves

Why should he care for these wolves? These two strangers? It was his own doing that the enemy wolves attacked, but would it be his fault entirely? If he ran away now, would it matter? Would he survive? Should he stay, or should he run? Oh, Orion had so many questions! What was he meant to do? No, of course you should stay, he thought. This pack could help him live and thrive. If he were alone, surely he'd die, wouldn't he? Maybe luck would be on his side? It had been twice already, after all, he had made it this far..

No, you can't leave. Do you want this put on yourself? Don't you want to know what you could have done if you hadn't run like a coward? If they died, maybe you could have helped save them.

The pup nodded to himself, his thoughts helping him relax. Of course he couldn't leave. He'd practically be guilty of murder, and he couldn't have that weighing on him for the rest of his life. He couldn't constantly be wondering if, hey, would life have been easier if I stayed? Did the wolves I leave behind survive, or did they die because I led the enemies right to them? No, Orion had no choice. He had to do as was told.

So, he continued, his paws practically numb as they connected with the ground. He could have sworn that he was bleeding somewhere too. Now that he thought about it, his entire body stung. Orion glanced down, noting his paw pads cut due to running upon hard terrain. The more he looked at his body, the more he noted small scrapes and scratches here and there. They were probably obtained from sprinting through thorny bushes and scraping past boulders for all he knew.

He continued inspecting, until the female's voice cut his concentration off. Koa, he thought, taking in the name of the wolf left behind. He could hear from the female's words that she thought highly of him. What kind of pack even was this? Why were there two random wolves sitting on the border? Was it a patrol? How odd. "I can try running faster.." He mumbled, practically gasping out. I'm sorry I'm holding you back, he wanted to add, but he could barely get a breath out. Even if he did, he would have been cut off by a howl. A sudden, panicked howl.

What was he thinking?

He should have kept running. If the enemy wolves got him, so be it, but at least he wouldn't have put other lives in danger. He shouldn't have been selfish. He shouldn't have worried so much about himself and-

"You'll have to go without me."

Orion glanced up at the female, worry in his eyes as he listened to her instructions. "I can warn them. I promise I will." Pinning his ears back, he nodded. "Ronin." He confirmed, nodding once briefly as he watched the female turn.

"Don't look back." She had said, and Orion didn't.

Ronin, Ronin, Ronin..

He needed to remember that name.

As his body surged forwards, Orion took what little, minuscule energy he had left and used it all. He propelled forwards, ignoring the pain shooting through him and the soreness that had begun to build up. Not to mention, a pounding headache. But he wouldn't stop. No, Orion was determined, so he ran, and ran, and ran, until he made it to the worn out path, and even then he still ran.

He ran right into the camp, where he saw other wolves. So many wolves. How many were there? He ran until he was just in sight of them. "Help," He gasped, his words strained and quiet as he caught his breath. "Help!" He repeated, this time louder. "Ro.. Ronin! Ronin sent me! Ronin and Koa!" Tongue hanging out, he shook his head and gasped once more.

"They need help!"

And before he knew it, Orion's vision faded and he hit the ground.

Eira
Female || 5 years || Pack Member || Mentions: Kyomi, Takara, Cyre, Leviathan, Enigma, Akousa
Indirectly Mentions: Ronin, Koa, Kallik

Her eyes were glued onto Akousa. She was staring, as if waiting for him to break.. To show his true colours in front of Takara. Dare Eira utter that she had observed him in the past? That she had taken notes on his behaviour ever since he presented a liking to Kyomi? That she knew of his ways? Oh, indeed. Eira knew of his little cry baby act, and how, when that didn't work, he'd result to using other methods to get his way? An almost.. Amusing glint shone in her eyes having known his small secret as she watched him. My, how she watched.

It was ways such that Eira knew that she was her mother's true daughter, not a pup switched at birth. She was conniving and intelligent in the same way her mother was, always a few steps ahead while others remained behind. Those were her mother's ways, and now, Eira had adapted some of them. But these ways were reserved for certain individuals, Akousa being the main and only one.

I'm onto you, she almost muttered. In fact, she even leaned in, preparing to speak those words before holding herself back. Instead, she raised her head, her smirk matching his own.

That same smirk vanished moments later.

Akousa wished to share a meal with her sister? With Takara? Did she not see how he acted? No, of course no, she wouldn't have been nice to him if she had. Eira's eyes twitched, the need to tell.. No, order her sister to not share a meal with this imbecile skyrocketing. She couldn't accept. She mustn't. If she disliked Akousa, then her sister must as well. It was how things worked.

But then again, Takara didn't truly know how much Eira disliked him.

Pity, here I was hoping to sit by my sister and Kyomi to eat. I suppose I will simply see you there, she was about to say, before adding a: If you're lucky, I just may allow you to sit next to Takara. Almost giggling, Eira opened her mouth prepared to speak, however, her excitement suddenly disappeared as Kyomi gestured that she would leave. Oh, what an awful friend Eira was! She wouldn't have entered the crowd had she know that her closest friend would feel uncomfortable, so she stood up, prepared to follow before seeing Kyomi look over her shoulder at her, signalling that she was fine.

Alright, so she'd find her after.

Eira watched her friend for a moment before turning away. As soon as she did, she heard a small commotion, only to learn that Kyomi had fallen! "Are you alright?" She called, stepping forwards. Eira ignored all current company and focused on her friend, staring at Kallik to ensure that he would accept Kyomi's apology. Dare a single insult be uttered about her, and Eira would strike. However, instead, a look of surprise and admiration struck her face when, in fact, Kallik showed kindness to her friend. Knowing she had nothing to worry about then, Eira turned away, only to catch a small chuckle from Enigma at seeing Kyomi stumble.

What's so funny? Did I miss the joke? She wanted to ask, but instead, threw Enigma a deep glare. A warning of sorts. Sometimes, looks said more than words. Kyomi had enough to deal with as was, she didn't need that as well. To make matters worse, Enigma strode forwards towards Kallik and Kyomi. As a result, Eira tensed. If Enigma said one word about Kyomi-

"Why don't we give her some room," she said, disliking the lack of sincerity in Enigma's tone. Stepping forwards once, Eira paused midstep. Did.. Did Kallik defend Kyomi? At that moment, Eira's eyes shone, her mouth turning into a grin. He defended her! Eira thought that she was the only one that did, but no! There was another. Oh, how she suddenly adored Kallik, practically watched him and Kyomi in awe. Alas, all good things must come to an end.

A small, sudden sound was head. Something between the mixture of a howl and a yelp. "Was that a howl?" Eira suddenly asked, worry filling her eyes. Forgetting about her little blows towards Akousa and hearing Enigma's little comments, she now focused on what she had just heard.

She hadn't heard a howl in a long time.

"Was that Koa?" Standing up, she shook out her pelt, head raising. "Does anybody know if that was Koa?" It sounded like him, and it was in his direction, wasn't it? Had the wind carried the sound? Where was Leviathan? Raising her head, she took in the sight of the male himself and nudged her way towards him. "Leviathan," she breathed, glancing behind her. "I think that was Koa," she added on, concern filling her. She paused as another howl was sounded. A longer, more desperate one.

"Leviathan," she mumbled, this time, with complete unease. "Shouldn't we- Is that a pup?" Glancing in the distance, she saw the small form of something stumbling through.

"Ronin and Koa..

They need help!"

Ears sitting upright, her eyes scanned across the group until landing onto Leviathan, awaiting for his move.
