Flame Chaise | 19 | Female | M: Arlin Flame watched Arlin as he said gruffly, "I'm going to train, If you need me, I'll be outside." She watched him leave before sighing. She didn't hate her fire power, she just didn't know how to control it. The other power, however, she shuddered to herself, she would rather not use it as an attack at all. She waited until she couldn't hear him anymore before scanning the bookshelves. She searched through the rooms until she found a box of old greek books on mythical creatures. Sitting down in the biggest, emptiest room she could find, she started to read.
The first page had everything on griffins. As she read through, she made a mental picture in her mind. Putting down the book near the wall, she kept it open as she closed her eyes. The first thing she transformed into was a lion and once in it, she gave a low growl that vibrated the walls. She concentrated all her energy before feathers appeared down the front of her body. A sharp screech erupted as her head turned into a huge eagle. Her front claws transformed into talons as two wings emerged on her back.
Taking a small breather, she slowly walked around the room, getting used to her new form. Once she was quite settled with it, she transformed back drawing only a little energy from the building which didn't seem to have a lot. She transformed into an eagle and flew out the window, circling the city lazily like a bird would do. She would need to pick up her pack before heading back though.
Circling down to the forest, she glided above the trees before swooping down. Shifting, she landed next to the tree and picked up her bag. Pulling out her father's mask, she put it on before slipping into the edges of town. She got back to the building with no incidents and no one following her thank goodness, and she laid her bag next to the door of the room she was practicing in. Hopefully I don't burn this room down like I did the last building, She thought, annoyed with herself. |

Jacqueline (Goes by Jac) O'Conner | Female | 17.5 | Hetero | Mentions: Lilypad Jac followed the guy closely. She was still mildly annoyed that he hadn't given her an answer to what he did. Probably some sort of crime or gang. Is he safe? He seems safe. He seems nice. She thought about it, not sure at all about him or his friends. He led her to a resteraunt, sitting outside. Sharky poked her little head up to look outside the jacket and around her. Jac smiled at her, petting the cat on the head. Sharky dissapeared when the waiter came over, the cat curling up on her lap for saftey. Lilypad ordered a hamburger, fries and a drink which actually sounded amazing to her. She decided to just get the exact same thing, she didn't even remember what she liked to get a resteraunt anymore. "I... I'll just do the same." She said to the waiter, flashing a gentle smile to him. She watched as the waiter walked away then turned her attention back to Lilypad. She finally smiled at him, but it just lasted for a split second. She had so many questions for him. "How did you survive?" She whispered to him, green eyes staring into his. |

Arlin stares at the black leather jacket that was gifted to him by his brother, staring at it for a bit before taking it off cautiously. Gripping the jacket tightly in his hand, staring around the woods to find a suitable spot to hang his coat on. "I should've honestly left this back at the mansion," he hangs the jacket on a low tree branch and then his shirt, "Hope Lilypad won't be too upset that I'm training without him supervising me." Arlin shrugs, stretching first before moving over to the center of the clearing. He traces his skin on his arm with his fingers, feeling the rough reptilian texture. "Okay. Which should I practice first? Lightning?" He nods his head, closing his eyes as he clasped his hands together. "Yeah. That's what I should do."
He starts grunting as he feels electricity coursing through his body, slowly prying his hands apart, and an energy ball of lightning forms between his hands. "Focus, Arlin. Don't make it too big or too small." Opening his eyes which were now glowing, staring at a boulder in front of him. "Try to shatter it." His voice was low, taking a deep breath as he moves his hands past his side, and just a little bit behind his back. "Just hurl this ball at the stupid rock." He tosses the energy ball at the boulder, the ball flying towards the rock and a loud explosion erupts in the air. A large, dark cloud of smoke drifts through the air and Arlin smiles victoriously. It was until the smoke cleared he snarls as the boulder was still intact. "Stupid son of a-," he stops himself and takes a deep breath, there he restarted the process all over again.
Each time he tries, the more tired he becomes as he uses most of his energy to do this. After the 10th attempt to break the boulder, he collapsed on the ground and was panting like crazy. "I need to surpass my limits," Arlin says to himself as he covers his eyes with an arm, his body covered in sweat, and his heart was beating fast. "And I need to make lunch. I don't have enough energy to do that."

Flame Chaise | 19 | Female | M: Arlin Flame was almost studying the whole book when she heard a bunch of explosions. What the heck are they doing so close to the building? She thought getting up. It was almost lunch time so she decided to go after Arlin anyway. Shifting cleanly into a wolf, she trotted out of the building into the woods. A 10th explosion went out and then silence. Extending her wings on either side of her in case it wasn't Arlin, and would make for a quick getaway, she stalked forward.
Holes in the ground and a boulder came in view first. The second thing that came in view was Arlin collapsed on the ground covered in sweat. She flicked her ears, unsure of what to do before walking forward. The holes in the ground brimmed with energy, and she took it more so that the electricity around it would calm down. She sat down a couple feet away from Arlin, one eyebrow raised at him. |

"I-" Nyx started to speak, but she was stopped by an aching pain in her head. Painful memories struck in and out of her head, her head throbbed wretchedly and she felt as if she was going to get sick. She felt a comforting arm surround her back, and she was pulled in by her sister, leaning against her shoulder. "It is gonna be ok..they will never touch you again. Never." She stroked Nyx's arm, as Nyx was leaning on her shoulder, Dakota had her head on top of her Twin's. "Night is good, I know it. He is one of us..we aren't alone anymore." Dakota's calm voice soothed Nyx's head. "The fire...the torture...the hell-...just why? Why would they do that-" she softly spoke and shook her head once more. "I don't know, but we will find out someday and we will kill them all, I promise you." Dakota smiled, and Nyx looked up to her, and she started to smile too. The two sisters hugged each other for a few heartwarming moments, then when they released and stood up. "Let's find our fellow experiments," Nyx spoke, she wiped her face and walk toward the front of the alley, Dakota walking beside her in sync. They stood at the front of the alley, looking at Night. "Ready to find our fellow friends?" Dakota spoke, her arm was holding her waist and she had a smile on her face. |

Lilypad goes quiet as the waitress asked for Jacqueline's order he observes the area around them, making sure that no one was eavesdrop on their conversation. As the waitress left, he snaps his gaze back to the woman with the cat. "How did you survive?" She questioned, the man places his arms on the table, and leans forward to close the distance between them. "Still curious about that incident, aren't you?" He whispered to her, drumming his fingers along the surface of the table, and he just chuckles. "Quite a funny story, really. Arlin and I decided to escape the same day the fire started," his mouth coils into a smile, "We managed to escape our cells and were close to escaping out of the vents. While inside the vents, we smelt smoke, and we knew that the building caught on fire." Lilypad pulls away from her as the waitress came with their food, placing the plates down onto the table and drinks down as well. Finally, a small saucer of raw beef was settled on the ground under the table. "Enjoy you three."
When the waitress was gone, Lilypad spoke again. "Arlin is resistant to fire, and I'm able to heal any wounds inflicted on me. I did get burnt a little," he shrugged his shoulders, "But it didn't hurt me too much."

Night Chetan | 23 | Male | M: Dakota, Nyx Night leaned on the wall, waiting for the twins to come back. He sensed them before he saw them. Turning his head, he watched them come to the front of the alley. He could almost feel their powers cooling down. Sister feeling most likely. He thought, letting a small smile go. Getting off the wall, he started walking towards them hearing, "Ready to find our fellow friends?" from Dakota. She had a smile on her face and Nyx was right beside her. "Yes, I am ready." Night said, dipping his head to them.
Their powers almost overwhelmed him again but he kept control on it. The last thing he needed was to accidentally make a weapon out of thin air. He himself was still trying to figure that one out. He might try his invisibility distatchment once they learned to trust each other though. I know what most of their powers are, now the question is, do they want to know mine? He then realized that he had forgotten to close his mind and the thought slipped out. |

Nyx spoke to Night, and Night alone through their connection, she then turned around and started walking onto the sidewalk. Earlier she saw that Dakota was drawn towards an abandoned building on the other side of the street. She closed off her connection with Night, and crossed the street. Hm..I wonder what we will find..only one way to find out. Following her, Dakota was close behind. She looked back to see if Night was following. Yes! The more the better, and maybe, someday, we will all be able to bring Ibex down once and for all. I hope...she thought to herself and looked back in front of her sister. She jogged up next to her and smiled. "Feeling better?" "I suppose." They smiled at each other and slowed to a walk. The wind started to blow, and the leaves on the ground started to scatter. Dakota looked around nothing in the sky. No cars in the road, no people. I'm not liking this... The siblings walked up to an alley, it led out to an Abandonded warehouse of some sort, and there was a patch of trees behind it. The warehouse was about 2 miles down the alleyway, the twins looked at each other and sighed. "I hate walking." |

"Still curious about that incident, aren't you?" He asked her, she nodded gently. "Quite a funny story, really. Arlin and I decided to escape the same day the fire started. We managed to escape our cells and were close to escaping out of the vents. While inside the vents, we smelt smoke, and we knew that the building caught on fire." She was surprised, they were already escaping? She had tried to fight to get free, but it had been to no avail. The waiter coming and giving them their food snapped her out of it. It looked amazing, one of the best things she had eaten since... she couldn't acutally remember. Once the waiter was gone he finished what he was telling her. "Arlin is resistant to fire, and I'm able to heal any wounds inflicted on me. I did get burnt a little, but it didn't hurt me too much." He strugged, she doubted what he said though. Being burned was one of the most hellish things she had ever gone through, worse than the experiments.
"Oh, I'm sorry you got burned..." She said, looking at him with a sad expression. She felt bad he had gotten hurt from that, sad he was there to begin with. She tried to snap out of it, she didn't usually feel this way. She didn't hate it though, it was almost freeing to be able to talk to someone again freely, specifically Lilypad. He had been through the hell she had. Although he seemed to have gotten out sooner than she had, which she was glad for. |

He smiled before sending back to her, You could always just ask you know. The two twins were now walking side by side and Night caught a glimpse of where they were going. The abandoned warehouse was about 2 miles from town which meant a lot of walking, but he was used to it.
The twins on the other hand, "I hate walking." He chuckled before saying, "You both have the animal attributes. Now would be a good time to use them." He himself was already slowly turning. His features were getting slightly more taut and wolflike. He knew wolves could walk and run for hours if need be. |
