Jacqueline (Goes by Jac) O'Conner | Female | 17.5 | Hetero | Mentions: Leonas and the agents. She was scooped up by Leon to her surprise. He started running from the agents. She was starting to lose her composure, no longer calm but starting to get mad. You have to understand that she never ever got mad. She got sad, scared and even annoyed, but anger? She tried to help as they ran down the alleyway, but they were going in and out of the shadows too fast. Although the hiding when they went through patches of shadows was helpful to Leon, who was hit less. "I'm going to run past it so you can get familiar with the area," he stares down at her and offers her a soft smile, "Use whatever vortex power you have. Don't worry about getting shot, I'm not afraid to block it with my body." She looked up at him, feeling a sense of guilt for him getting hurt, but that just started tofear her rage. He looked at an old warehouse and she followed his gaze. "That's the place right there. Think you can handle that?" She nodded absentmindedly, trying to muster all her stregnth to try and do this void jump. It didn't help that she had never done this before, or sucessfully. Things... kind of just get uncontrolable when she used that specific power. She closed her eyes, trying to focus on the location. She put her arms around Leon's neck, for support. She focused everything she had on that and her power. She felt it starting to work, but it was met with extreme pain as was usual with her trying to use her power. Ow! She felt it, of cource it hit her in the smallest possible place. A dart right on her hand. That sudden pain mixed with the pain from trying to use her void power caused her to scream in agony. All her concentration was broken and her eyes sprang open. Black circled around the iris of her eyes, she was still trying to use her power to get them out of there even though she could feel herself fading.
She blacked out, going completely limp against Leon. Yet she had managed to use her powers, just not the intended way. A void had formed for a split second underneath the people chasing them. Becaus eof the mix of pain she was feeling it had expanded to a large size and engulfed all of the men and women. No exit was formed, just the entrance. That had happened before, and she had never found the thing that had gotten stuck in the void... |

Nyx | 18 | Hetero | Female | Mentions: Jaq, Leonas, Dakota (ind.) Nyx was in the process of thinking, What to do. What to do-all of a sudden, a scream started ringing in her ears. "What the hell-" as she looked through the wall, on the outside, she could see movement. Two body forms, one was on foot, carrying what seemed to be another person...and a cat?? Who the hell carries a cat around here!? She watched closely, watching it all happen, something seemed to engulf the Ibex Team members behind them, and her mouth gaped open. The team seemed to all disappear, but the people kept running. Wait, wait, wait- She pictured the thing that engulfed the people again, then her eyes opened wide. They are being chased by Ibex, some odd power attacking them, running bad outta hell. OH. Pff I'm so smart-Just when she was about to teleport to them, 5-6 Ibex Men came out of the warehouse. Aiming at Dakota and Night. And then, she was gone. She teleported into the middle of the group, she snapped one's neck, kicked another in the johnny, and punched a few in the face. A few yells and screams escaped their lungs before they collapsed and died. |

Cybul | 19 | Homo | Female | Mentions: Alexander Cybul darted between cars, willing herself to calm down and camoflauge properly. She looked like a walking indecisive traffic light. The drivers probably think they were unwillingly given some hard drugs, she thought, giggling to herself dispite her circumstances. She was snapped back to reality at the sound of a blaring horn as a car came straight for her. She gasped and darted forward, her camoflauge correcting itself on reflex. She stared back at the Ibex agents, some looking confused, others looking around, and one reeling in Lex, who's legs were tied together by one of the nets. "Cybul Vontella, show yourself right now, or we'll open fire." A tall women called out. This women pissed her off. Who was she to tell her what to do? Cybul cletched her fists as another whizzed by in front of her, clambering up on top of it, then jumping to another car back towards Ibex and Lex. She had only just realized more Ibex victims out there, she wasn't about to let this one be dragged back to that hell right after meeting him. after crossing the street she leaped onto the side of a building, clutching the drain pipe, positioning herself to be propelled toward the man holding the rope. She leaped, baralling into him with such force he let the rope fall, loosening its grip on Lex. Her camoflauge broke with the impact, exposing Cybul to the vision of the other Ibex soldiers. One immedately threw a net straight at her, and she shot out her hand, stopping the net in the air. Her triumpant feeling was short lived, however, as she cried out in pain as she felt two darts puncture her skin. One was in her shoulder, the other in her leg. She fell back, suddenly feeling quite fatigued and dizzy. She stood up faltering slightly, as the agents began to approach her. One began to ready a net, which sent a new dose of adrenaline corsing through her veins. She activated her camoflauge once again and sprinted across the road again, not looking back this time. |

Alexander (Lex) | Male | 18 | Hetero | Mentions: Cybul Lex was surprised as the girl, Cybul came to his rescue. He quickly unscrambled the net from around his legs, struggling to his feet to run away. Someone grabbed his hand, the one with his glove. He pulled it free from the glove, but the woman who had grabbed it just grabbed his wrist. His fingers gently brushed her exposed wrist and a darkness started to spread from that spot. She screamed and let go of him, wathcing the darkness grow across her arm and hand and spread. He couldn't bare to watch her skin slowly turn an ashy black and turn to ash. "Die!" He heard the lady yell. He glanced back. He was almost 200 feet away from them now, covering the ground fast. He herd a bang and felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. He screamed in pain, but kept running. The others somehow didn't see where he had gone while they were focused on the girl, so he just kept runnning. He finally collapsed 6 blocks later, bleeding from his shoulder. He was hiding behind some trash piles, hoping that would be enough. She shot me... I killed her... I deserved to die. He thought, starting to cry. He knew that was such a weak thing to do, but didn't know how else to process what had happened. |

Flame Chaise | 19 | Female | M: Arlin, Nyx & Dakota(ind), Lilypad(ind), Jac(ind) Flame watched him get up before he spotted her. He groaned before saying, "Don't tell me you witnessed all of it? If so, wipe it out of your memory of watching me fail," He frowned before saying, "And don't you dare tell Lilypad of what I've been doing. I don't want him to mock me, then scold me for doing such things." Flame blinked before shifting back into human form, "We all fail at some point. And most of my failures have killed someone." She narrowed her eyes at him before saying, "Maybe next time, focus all your energy not into your lightning but towards the boulder. Your lightning will come when called, it's where your putting it is where the energy needs to be focused on."
Flame shrugged, "Just a suggestion." She looked at the boulder before setting it on fire. It burned for a moment before dying out. She was about to say something when she saw people dropping from nowhere onto the roof of the warehouse. She clicked her power on, feeling the beast rise up but she pushed it down. 10 males, Ibex going into the building. Two females and a male inside. "Oh frick." Was all the warning she gave Arlin before shifting into a wolf, bolting towards the door of the building.
Making it inside, she ran straight into 5 of them. She could hear screams outside, which might be Lilypad. Her power rose up to meet her and this time she let it. Strands of light appeared in her vision, connecting to the men in front of her. As they raised their weapons, she snapped them draining all of their energy instantly. They fell to the ground, but she ignored them as she sprinted forward. There was more than she thought, as she turned a corner, she spotted a female taking care of a few, and a male taking on some himself. Another female was speaking and helping as much as possible.
Flame panted before shifting into the griffin she had practiced. She blocked the way so no more could come down, although they were now circling to the back staircase where she couldn't see them. She screeched at one who tried coming at her and slashed him with her claws. He managed to take a shot at her but it missed. Transforming back into a human, she said to them, "We need to get to the forest outside quickly! Before more comes." She moved quickly down the hallway, coming to the back door and opening it. Once out, she turned around to introduce herself. "My name's Flame, and you three?" |

Looking over at the male, he said, "You can wait here while we check this out or you can come with us." He nodded to him before entering the building after the twins. They were almost through the first floor when rapid footsteps above echoed and got louder as they approached. "They're here. Ibex has found us." Nyx said looking at Night worried. He simply wore a grim frown on his face. So soon? Argh. He thought, mostly to himself before watching Nyx relax, then snap back up. She was definitely ready for the fight coming their way.
"What the hell are we going to do-" Dakota started before 5-6 men came in view. Nyx started working on them as 3 men came up from behind. They all aimed their guns at him, who looked weaponless. . .at first. A long handled dagger appeared in midair and he barely touched it before it lodged in one of their throats. Teleporting behind them, two more daggers appeared and he slashed downward, cutting their throats easily. Nyx had finished with her guys when a wolf creature came in.
He looked at curiously before it shifted into a griffin, slashing at a guy coming down the corridor. It finally shifted into a woman, a year older than Nyx. The woman said in a hurried voice, "We need to get to the forest outside quickly! Before more comes." He was already moving, feeling her powers instantly. The girl moved fast through the hallways, before they came to the back door of the warehouse. Moving outside, he heard from the girl, "My name's Flame, and you three?" |

For a moment, Ivy’s mind went blank with panic, her heart accelerating. She quickly retracted her head that was peeking out and pressed herself to the wall. Ibex is here, this is bad… oh no… what should I do? Run? Should I help those two out though? It would be safer to be with them right…? Being in a group would be safer. A thousand thoughts ran through her mind in a second. She gave her head a small, firm shake and exhaled quietly. Focus Ivy! She peeked around the corner, watching the two of them run away and the group of Ibex soldiers giving chase. They didn’t notice me! She followed them from a distance, making sure to keep to the shadows. She noticed that about half of the Ibex team was lagging behind, sometimes losing sight of the targets. Thinking fast, Ivy started imagining Cybul and Lex. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The length and colour of Cybul’s hair, the greyish tone of her skin… the oddly shade of blue of Lex’s eyes, his bright orange hair and his panic-stricken expression. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Soon enough, illusions of Cybul and Lex were conjured, the illusions running the opposite direction from the actual Cybul and Lex. Ivy was also careful to make sure the illusions had shadows when they were running. Once they knew the illusions were illusions, it would be useless. She swallowed nervously. She didn’t have the liberty to study Cybul and Lex carefully so she was worried the illusions would look off. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“They went that way!” one of the soldiers called out, chasing the illusions. The few of them who heard him quickly followed him. Yes! They fell for it! Ivy cheered triumphantly. Once she was sure the Ibex soldiers were gone, she began to search for Cybul and Lex, her eyes wide and searching. Though she tried her best to stay calm, her heart hammered in her chest and her palms sweated profusely. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She continued down the street when she noticed droplets of crimson liquid. Blood. Cautiously, she followed the trail of blood to a pile of trash bags. She narrowed her eyes. Was there someone behind there? Should she try to call them out? What if it was an Ibex soldier? Well, if it was, he or she was injured and she could just brainwash them… ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Dakota | 18 | Hetero | Female | Mentions: Night, Flame, Nyx Nyx was overwhelmed with different smells, sounds, thoughts. The thoughts of the Ibex Soldiers were horrifying..Catch them. Kill them. Bring them alive. Bring them back to Ibex. Let the tests continue. Their thoughts rang throughout her mind but she didn't let them affect her. She put herself at ease, as much as she could. All of a sudden, some sort of wolf came barging outside, it came and seemed to transform into what seemed to be a Griffin. Is that a mutated Ibex Soldier?! What the hell-then the Griffin slashed one of them, the lifeless body falling to the ground. Nope- "We need to get to the forest outside quickly! Before more come." Nyx didn't hesitate, "Dakota! Let's go!" She saw Night had already run inside after the griffin girl, soon she and Dakota followed. As the twins ran inside, Dakota felt a dart swoosh past her head. "Hey!" She turned her head around, "Watch where you're pointing those!" She growled and flung her hands at the men coming into the alleyway. 5 metal daggers came spewing out of her hands, flinging into each of the men. All dropped dead. "Hmph!" "Dakota let's go!" She felt Nyx grab her arm, and they ran inside after the others. They were running quite quickly, towards another door. The twins managed to dodge boxes and junk that blocked their path and even jumped over a few broken boards. They followed Night and the girl outside the other door, and as they stepped foot out the girl spoke again. "My name's Flame, and you three?" Nyx eyed the girl carefully. "Fast with the introductions, aren't we?" "Easy. She just helped us out of a tight mess," Dakota spoke, shaking her head. "Im Dakota. This is Nyx. Thanks for helping us." "We could have done it ourselv-" Nyx began to speak, but was elbowed in the side by Dakota and received a glare. "Nevermind." |

He followed them again into the forest and was now watching the scene unfolding in front of him. At the sight of the helicopter, Jesse had vanished into the shadows, having no intentions of getting taken back to that god-awful place. He stayed out of sight until they were all dead, then calmly walked out of the shadows, his pocket knife in hand, blade drawn. “My name is Jesse Ortega, but that really doesn’t matter with Ibex on us.” He adjusted the strap on his messenger bag, his Star Wars t-shirt wrinkled and dirty beneath it. “What are we going to do now, they keep following us and they’re going to keep following us. I don’t plan on dying or going back there anytime soon.” He was worried about getting caught again, yes, but he was more concerned about never seeing his father again, who he’d been spending the time since the fire to look for. |

Flame Chaise | 19 | Female | M: Nyx, Dakota, Night "Fast with the introductions, aren't we?" One of the girls said before the other one said, "Easy. She just helped us out of a tight mess. Im Dakota. This is Nyx. Thanks for helping us." Flame nodded before hearing, "We could have done it ourselv- Nevermind." She chuckled, "It's fine, I know you could probably get out of there yourselves. I wouldn't have seen them if they hadn't decided to jump on our hideout's roof. Speaking of which," Flame started walking back where she had left Arlin. "A friend of mine is up ahead. We could be friends too but that's up to you."
She stopped at the boulder before leaning against it, "So there is more escapees from Ibex in the city. At first, I thought I was the only one until I found Arlin and Lilypad. Lilypad is around here somewhere, and Arlin is over there." She said, letting out a yawn. She was back in her natural habitat so she was much more forthcoming. The male finally said, "My name's Night, and yes we are escapees. Although, just like you, we believed we were the only ones." He was looking at her strangely as if scanning her. She looked back, pulling slightly on his energy, feeling it shift underneath her touch. Mimicry. Of course. She thought, raising an eyebrow at him.
A voice in the shadows made her look over quickly, "My name is Jesse Ortega, but that really doesn’t matter with Ibex on us. What are we going to do now, they keep following us and they’re going to keep following us. I don’t plan on dying or going back there anytime soon." She saw a male in the shadows and her eyes turned slightly downcast as she responded, "I don't know what to do yet, but as long as we stay in a group, we are stronger together." |
