Beau || Four Years || Lead Stag|| Eastern Herd || Mentions: Dawn, Faith, the herd (ind) Throughout the last day and a half the lead stag had been by the entrance of the cave, watching as the storm raged on. Trees bowed to the wrath of the beast, snow was hurtled through the air pelting those who dared face the storms fury. Each hour he could see the snow pile higher and higher devouring the landscape and leaving everything looking barren and dead, if food had been hard to find before he was sure it’d be near impossible now. Worry ate at his stomach, making him feel restless, he had been refusing to eat or sleep until he came up with the solution for his herd’s issues. If they wandered further from the lake, the snow would be thicker as there were less plants on their side making it less likely for the herd to find enough food for all its members, but hugging close to the lake hadn’t really helped them either. The presents of one of his head members snapped Beau back to reality. Ears twitching he recognised the soft hoof fall of Dawn, one of the does in his herd. However, Beau felt a twang of guilt as he realised that beyond her name he knew very little of the other deer despite the fact she was a part of his herd, it was another thing he had neglected in his worries over feeding the herd. As she explained her worries, the lead stag did not interrupt fully soaking in everything she said and processing it, she was right after all. There was a heightened risk with staying near the lake, and it was started to become over grazed from the herd constantly sticking to that one spot. “Don’t worry about overstepping your place,” he told Dawn once she had finished. Beau’s tone was warm and friendly, a warm smile lighting up his face as soon as he spoke. “You’re a member of my herd, if I didn’t take your input into consideration what kind of leader would I be? And your right it does put us at greater risk, we will be grazing further from the lake after this storm clears.” Lilliana || Three Years ||Lead Doe || Western Herd || Mentions: Fox, Twilight Keeping tucked closely, Lilliana scaled the mountain easily matching her sister’s agility. It seemed that both sister’s moved with an uncanny grace and precision, uncommon among other does (although not unheard of). Unlike her sister, however, the young mother did look back as to keep a careful eye on her young daughter, with each couple of steps she would stop and glance back ensuring her fawn did not get left behind. The higher they climbed, the storm worsened, the wind blowing more aggressively as if nature itself was trying to push the two does off the mountainside. Snow beat down on them as well, hitting the does body with such force it felt like bullets, Lilliana felt fear for her fawn eat away at her stomach and she looked behind her. Nothing, she could see nothing beyond the wall of spiralling white that seemed to have isolated her from both her fawn and her sister. But the doe continued on, heading higher up, having to blindly trust that her daughter was just behind her and her sister just in front. As soon as the abnormally furred doe entered the small cave, she shook herself like a wet dog sending snow flying all around her. Once satisfied that she was clean, the doe flopped by her younger sister. Edited at November 5, 2020 08:56 AM by Peaceful Vengeance

Faith Eastern Herd herd doe 2 mentions Beau Aelia Coming up to Beau she saw Dawn talking to him."might as well stay here until they are done." she said to herself. Then she realized that he would find out one way or another that Aelia was fine. heading to the cave entrance she puased near Beau."I'm going to go find some more good caves for us to stay in so we aren't staying in the same one. i will make sure that the path is covered and well protected from the storm for the fawns." She told Beau without looking at him. then she went outside and started at a trot towards her own area with her head up so she could see well. Blossem lone doe 2 mentions: eastern herd Seeing the doe leave the cave made her wonder even more about life in a herd and moved closer to the cave entrance. stopping she realized that she couldn't just go up to the entrance and walk on in. she decided to move to a tree were she could see the cave entrance from and to hopefully shelter her from the strom."before i do this i need a drink" so she headed in the direction in what she hoped was toward water.

Aelia (Sunny) | Eastern Herd Doe | Doe | M: Faith Aelia got up a little while after Faith did. She stretched a bit and licked her nose a bit before looking at the lead stag. She shook herself and realized it was a bit colder. She let out a long quiet sigh and swished her tiny tail from side to side as she started walking a bit to the enterance. She was quiet and with every step she made sure to be quiet and sly. She put her nose up and smelt the air and sneezed. She noticed the snow and huffed. She didn't like snow.

Twilight/Fawn/western/M: Fox, Lilliana The fawn flopped down beside her mother feeling exhausted. She looked up at her aunt feeling confused. Why where they moving? Was their home not great? Sure it was cold but up here is even colder. Twilight snuggled up closer to her mother and closed her eyes to think about why this was happening. Maybe the warmth was coming sooner where they were headed? Yeah, that must be it. Maybe there would be fresh flowers and more fawns! Some of the water had seeped through the fawns fluffy coat. She felt freezing but soon with her mother and aunt laying beside her Twilight fell asleep. She just hoped that the warmth would be there soon. The fawn fell asleep and started to dream about where they might head over to. In her dream there were white flowers, playful fawns and warmth. Even the sun was more happy looking. After a while she started getting thirsty and slowly got up and moved toward the lake to get a drink appearantly in the same direction that the doe had. Aelia (Sunny) | Eastern Herd | Doe | M: Open Sunny lifted each hoof with grace and walked slowly and quietly. She lowered her head a bit as she sniffed the ground. She heard a snap and her head shot up. She froze and only moved the breath and look around. Then she realized it was her who did that. She was pretty hungry but held off. This blizzard was bad. She laid down towards the entrance of the cave to watch the snow fall. She tucked her legs underneath herself and sneezed a bit then perked her ears forward. She wished that this would be over already. She hated snow but loved to watch it fall. Well...this snow wasn't falling it was a blizzard so it was coming fast. She sighed a bit and licked her nose a bit and shook her head as a bit of snow fell from the top of the cave onto her head.

Dawn | 3 years | Doe | Eastern Herd Doe | Mentions: Beau Dawn nodded and turned around walking back to the herd of does. Her back legs were slightly shivering, she hated the cold. For some reason, her coat never grew as thick as it should have just like the other does. Must just be her genes, but anyways, she huddled up close to the do as much as possible much giving them their space. Her red tail shook back and forth as she held it close to her body, the storm blew west, in her vision but she didn't truly know. The red doe was being blown in the face by snow, and it started to hurt her little face. Dawn turned around facing in the opposite direction of the storm.

Beau || Four Years || Lead Stag || Eastern Herd || Mentions: Dawn, Faith Watching as Dawn returned to the mass of huddled figures, Beau fell back into his thoughtful stupor. Despite this cave being sheltered from the worse of the wind and snow, it did very little to stop the cold from reaching them. With every breath he took, he could see it spiralling upwards into the sky, and he could feel the involuntary shaking of his body. Damn the cold, he thought tossing his head, even that was trying to kill them. This isn’t good, he mused getting to his hooves, huge frame silhouetted against the entrance of the cave. Watching the does for a second, he debated what to do next, Faith was missing and the other’s seemed really on edge. Snow was building up near the entrance of the cave, making leaving or entering the cave difficult, not only that but the snow was starting to edge into their shelter. Faith had ventured out into that blizzard looking for new shelter or food for the head and while he would much rather stay here with the rest of the herd, he knew that he had to go out and find her. “Right,” he whispered looking out again at the white coated landscape. “I’m leaving to find Faith,” he told the herd. “Please try to keep towards the back of the cave, it should be warmer there. I’ll be back soon” Beau didn’t even wait for the doe’s response before he stepped out into the storm. A gust of cold wind met the stag, making him take a sharp gasp. It was freezing, but the butter determination to keep every member of his herd safe, drove the stag forward as he waded through the thick snow. Alcina || Five Years || Lone Doe || Mentions: Kaala It was cold, too cold, the mother worried returning to her daughter’s hidden spot. Poking her nose through the dead branches, she found her instantly, a small pale fawn that had yet to understand the dire situation she had been born into. A situation Alcina was determined she would see the end of; nuzzling the fawn affectionately the mother tried to get her attention. “Kaala,” she whispered softly. “Kaala sweetie, it’s time to move” Edited at November 14, 2020 08:53 AM by Peaceful Vengeance
