Well, at least Rev can handle the apology stuff, that'll definitely be helpful for Nico. Especially with breaking stuff and whatnot. Nico will immediately go into panic mode thanks to past relationships- - Ooo, all very interesting! Yeah, Ingall would probably handle breaking something by quietly cleaning up too, unless it's something he knows is valued, in which case, he'll be a wreck too, lol And Akira will just do what they have to to take care of everything. Though if any of their partners walk in without shoes they'll probably panic a little about someone stepping on glass XD - Oh, yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense for Garvin! - Fun, fun, lmao - Enjoy the post! I will say, the first trigger just happened and the Body Arc has officially started! :)

Very fair haha- Revan gets to handle apologies. Until it's Akira or Garvin. Which, Garvin doesn't even tend to apologize for stuff. It's a whole other can of worms that basically boils down to apologies not meaning or doing anything. - The one time Garvin not having valuables comes in handy. No one ever has to worry about breaking something of his. At least until he starts accepting gifts lmao - I want so badly to discuss the system but my brain cannot think of how to. Or like. What needs to be discussed. - I am now over 7000 words. I require the 'walk through every step as he lock picks (surprise?) the door' because I have no idea how Ingall would go about that Please help - The post was amazing! I loved it. Was the first trigger the phone being put into the locker?

Great, lmao - True, so one less person for Ingall to worry about breaking stuff from, at least for a bit, lol - Yeah, that's very fair. I also have no idea- - Well, let's see, it'd probably be a relatively basic explanation, just to make sure nothing is sudden, probably a long the lines of "Alright, Garvin, It's Ingall, I'm going to come in now. It's just me. If you want me to leave, just tell me, but right now I'm going to unlock the door" *cue lock picking skills* "Alright, I'm opening the door now and I'm going to step inside the room with you, as long as that's okay with you?" Something like that anyway, haha - Yep, you got it! Adiar not being able to immediately reach Nico is gonna end up being a major problem, which is exactly why Nico triple checks his phone every day. Not that that'll do much if her phone's in a locker :)

A good place to start is probably how the polycule interacts with different types of headmates- Like littles and whatnot. Revan's surprisingly good with kids, actually. - That's adorable, lovely. Hopefully the short novel will be done by tomorrow haha I do not think it'll be done tonight but who knows lol - Yeahhh, definitely a major problem. Garvin meanwhile is going to hear about the lockers and immediately regret not bringing cigarettes so he could multitask stealing. XD

Oh, yeah, true Well, let's see, for littles, Ingall's actually amazing with kids, if not a little awkward at first. He always wanted to be an elementary or middle school teacher, and he certainly has the heart for it Nico is also great with kids, actually and they freaking love them. He'll definitely be one to offer coloring or doing puzzles together And Akira is probably the one who struggles the most with kids. Not that they're bad with them, once they warm up, they're actually really great with kids as well, but they'll probably be pretty timid at first actually, which is mostly thanks to the home. Like, they love kids and they very much want to protect them, but, also, their only real interaction with children was in an extremely hostile environment so they've never really understood how to act around kids unless it's protecting them from a threat. So, it'd take a while, but, eventually, they'll end up being a pretty good source of support and playmate for the littles as well, probably mostly through watching the others interact and then adjusting their behavior accordingly. - Alright! - Lmaoooo, I love that

That's all kind of adorableAdmittedly, the system is very much split into subsystems. So information travels very, uh- Inconsistently, especially since the system is very much unaware that there's a system at all. Which is part of why memory is so odd. I'm sure Akira will have an easier time with some of the littles that kind of double as protectors. The main issue here with talking about the system is that a lot of them don't have names. As good as he is with nicknames, that doesn't really include himself lmao And most of the ones that do have names are like- Chips. Tombs. Vivi. You know, what I previously labeled nicknames for Garvin. Again, since it's very much split into subsystems, there's multiple of each name too and it's already gotten complicated, haha- There's a lot going on. The smallest named subsystem is Chips. The largest named subsystem is Tombs. Just a fun tidbit, uhm. There is so much to go over. - Okay, I have but one question for the short novel. Does the polycule have nicknames for each other? I mean, I obviously know Garvin and Nico have nicknames for everyone. But what about Akira and Ingall? Revan mostly just sticks to names because that's kind of already a can of worms. He would probably eventually start usung nicknames here and there though, small ones, things like 'love' or short versions of their names. It's very rare though. - Everyone Else; Getting ready to skate and figuring out how to walk with them on (or helping, probably, in Nico's case) Meanwhile Garvin; Man, wish I brought cigarettes so I could steal from people.. How the fuck do laces work again...

Yeah, that all makes sense. Honestly, Ingall will probably do pretty well with all the littles and then struggle with the adults in the system because, ya know, autistic struggles and all that, lmao And Nico will probably do better with some than with others, especially depending on how everyone does with touch... Which is actually something that Nico will struggle with when around the system as a whole because it's not just a "yes touch" or "no touch," but literally different people that will probably be hard to identify at times And Aki's gonna act basically the same with all the adults and then be awkward with the littles until they figure things out, lol - Hmm, good question. Ingall will probably mostly stick to names and shortened versions of names. Pet names will be very rare from him probably, which is mostly just because he feels awkward doing so. Nico obviously has a shit ton of nicknames for everyone, but after they start dating, "love" and "babe/babes" will probably become relatively common as well. And Akira will probably start occasionally using the most popular nicknames for everyone (Vinny, Angel/Gall, Niki, and Rev) and all theme shortened versions of the others names, but they'll also most likely both have a special individual nickname for everyone that they use when they're comforting them or being intimate in some way (this will also come with an unspoken rule that no one else uses this nickname for that person. I know it sounds a bit possessive or odd, but it's something that they actually picked up from the home and one of the few positives things they kept, and, honestly, if it's taken badly, it might cause a bit of a confused panic on Akira's end as well as a major apology followed by a feeling of rejection, so, that's fun). They'll also probably use nicknames like "love," "babe/babes," "sweetheart," and "bun" (babe probably being most common) - Lmaooo, and we love Garvin for that XD

Very fun, yeah- Autistic struggles all around. There is not a single one in the system that is not somewhere on the neurodivergent spectrum. Some are better at masking than others, is all. More or less. Same for chronic pain qnd fatigue and all of that stuff too- Some have less than others and some have more than others. Yeahhh- Everyone's for sure going to have fun explaining consent and boundaries multiple times because of that sort of thing. I know that at least one of the littles will actually bond with Akira pretty quickly and- The ANP for Chips. Akira has purple hair, like Jinx, what else is needed to prove they're cool? - Oooo, love all of that. Lovely. Okay. Garvin definitely accidentally uses one of the nicknames that are 'Akira-Only' because his mind latches onto nicknames way easier than names. The first time, Aki probably just explains and Garvin's like 'Aight, okay' because he isn't about to say Akira can't have a special little nickname for each of them. And then any other time it happens, Garvin just kind of goes quiet and tries to say sorry without actually saying sorry. Because apologies are not easy or good. For complicated reasons. Garvin, obviously, has all the nicknames he does for everyone and the star nicknames too. But he's also a pretty consistent user of pet names. Sweetheart, honey, hun, darling, love, and probably more. Honestly. The only ones he tends not to use are like... King or baby or- Babe, actually. Because sometimes it's too similar to baby and he just can't. - Haha, yes. Garvin (like me for real) hates shoelaces and avoids them as much as possible because he struggles with tying them. Why? Mostly because he was never really taught how to tie them and the few times someone did try to teach him, it never really stuck as well as he thought it should have. Either way, he's very bad at tying shoelaces and is going to be very annoyed lmao

Amazing Awww, I love that! Adorable! Akira will actually be so excited that a little is happy to meet them and will 100% be doing everything possible to not fuck it up, lmao - Ah, yeah, honestly, Akira will probably brush it off for the most part, the only exception would actually be if it were on a trigger date. For reasons. Otherwise, they may get mildly annoyed, but they probably wouldn't say anything and would pretty quickly accept Garvin's unspoken apology and move on Fair. Yeah, Akira will be using a lot of pet names eventually, probably nearly as much as Garvin actually, which is kinda funny considering how few nicknames they actually use. Though they definitely avoid pet names that are both a personal trigger and quite possibly a trigger for others. Because, yeah, one bad relationship and a couple of sexual abuse incidents in the home are more than enough to have trigger pet names, lol And Nico will really just stick to the two already mentioned, maybe occasionally "hun," but that's about it. Otherwise it's nicknames all day :) Now, if we're talking about flustered level? Ingall's an immediate wreck. The second a pet name slips out, he's speechless and a blushing puddle on the floor. My guy can't handle it, and, honestly, even after they've been together for a while, a pet name will still get a flushed face from Ingall, he's such a sap for that type of stuff XD Nico also gets all flustered pretty easily, but that won't stop him from violently flirting back, lol And Akira's probably honestly dependent on the person. With Nico, they find it more adorable than anything and will just smile and flirt back, with Garvin it'll be dependent on how intentionally and directly flirtatious it is, since he'll use pet names often, but with Revan? Honestly, that occasional "love" will most likely destroy Akira every single time. Mostly because it's unexpected. But, like, if Revan ever wants to shut Akira up or see them become a flustered mess, I'm giving you the formula right now. He literally just needs to use a pet name and Aki will die right then and there, lmaooo - Aww, Garvin XD No worries, Nico will definitely offer to help. No need to curse the shoes, buddy, it'll be alright, lolll

No worries, Chips and Akira are bound to get along. So long as Akira can handle an extremely AuDHD child that swears like a sailor. Or. Modern day pirate, technically. Little gremlin to the max. Overall though, I think Akira will have an easier time with the middles. Some real quick terms so that it's easier- Little = Up to 12? Some people put it at 6 to 12. But I don't know what younger than that would be, so... Yeah. Middle = 13 to 17. At least, that's my understanding of the terms. - Garvin would be so apologetic but he does not know how to say sorry. It's just. Been erased from his vocabulary. Apologies in the past never helped to do anything but invite victim blaming and more abuse. So he basically learned that apologizing only ever made things worse. He will be trying his absolute hardest to not use the 'Akira-Only' nicknames. We love that. Garvin will basically just be using pet names like they're nicknames. Literally the most rare thing with him is him using their actual names. And when he uses their actual names, everyone gets worried. Because it usually means he's going through a huge spiral and thinking about leaving. Anyways, yeah- Pet names that are triggers are quickly avoided. Garvin does a much better job at making sure he doesn't use those. King/Queen isn't really a trigger, just Garvin being an awkward street rat that irks away from pet names that are also royal titles. The only other pet name Revan ever uses other than love, is probably dear. Meanwhile Garvin will use every single pet name under the sun unless if it's a trigger or a royal title. The only one who might would get a royal title is Revan. Because Revan's a rich kid and thus royal title is fine and makes sense to use. As for all the flustered level stuff... Garvin takes full advantage of it once he realizes. He flusters Ingall and then just continues to use only pet names for a good twenty minutes. Nico gets flustered and they end up going back and forth for like- At least thirty minutes. When he manages to fluster Akira, he'll continue as long as it flusters them and then some. When he manages to fluster Revan, he will continue for as long as he thinks he can push his luck. On the flip side, he doesn't tend to get flustered often though. Mostly he laughs it all off. Meanwhile Revan tries not to fluster anyone. And when he does, he kind of just- Gets worried? The one thing he is not used to- People getting flustered. Literally someone getting flustered will fluster him. But otherwise, he doesn't tend to get flustered either. Which leads me to- Revan is capable of flustering Garvin. Which then leads to Revan getting flustered and Garvin absolutely taking advantage of it. Garvin gets flustered through insults. If they call him a bitch while he's trying to make them flustered, he will get flustered instead. It's so unexpected that it manages to catch him off guard and fluster him. Garvin will be trying to fluster Revan by calling him 'king' and Revan will shoot back with 'peasant' and it immediately works. - Garvin will only curse the shoes more if he ends up needing help but thanks anyways Nico lmao
