Mermay is a little creative sort of thing. Where there's usually prompts or something for each day of the month to write/draw/etc.

I don't think Mermay has any official prompts at least (not that I've found) and it's just drawing merfolk for the month!

Mmmm, maybe the whole thing could be a sort of government experiment? Like, "What would happen if we threw a bunch of orphan/runnaway kids togther to live on their own? That seems like a great idea!" type of thing?
Or maybe the group formed on its own as a kind of way to protect those who need it?
I don't know, just some random ides, lmao

Just these parentless children forming a group. Don't mind them.
At the same time though, I feel like we need a more overarching plot haha
