A white somatic mutation covers portions of her, while a soft blueish grey covers the remaining areas. Speckled and spots showing over the darker portions of her coat, unable to show over the white. Her eyes a somber shade of turquoise, gentle and kind. Minthra's tail was more of a large plum, longer thinker fur that sayed with every movement. She is quite large for a female, standing roughly 3 and a half feet at the shoulder and about 200 lbs. Her sturdy paws and lean frame suited for power and agility, while remaining slender and agile. . Minthra is a gentle natured wolf, and a noble heart. She often likes to took out for others and doing what she can to keep others safe. Minthra is a wolf who enjoys being around others, even content to just sit and keep watch. You could say she finds it gives her purpose, to protect her pack and those she cares for with her life. Her heart is guarded however, while she may seem to show such empathy to others. She never really lets them get close, keeping her heart walled off. In truth, she's afraid to hurt. . There are times Mintra of a stubborn streak, which she blams on her father. Standing her ground with gritted teeth when she's made a dicision, requiring lots of force to change her mind. Yet Minthra can see reason, being able to be convinced if you prove she's wrong. She isn't quick to trust others, only trusting those close to her. Minthra is fierce when she steps up for a fight, her growl such a thounderous sound. Careful and sure-footed, Minthra is able to traverse large distances a hare's breath. Begin agile and lightning-quick reflexes, her ability to react to danger and threats is remarkable. At times being able to used this when taking on larger prey, being fast enough to used her size against it. Making her formidable against larger targets, be they prey or foe. . Accelerated Healing Minthra is able to heal within astonishing speed from injuries, except particular circumstances. Any cut or open wound often closes within hours, healing fully in a mater of days no matter how deep the cut. Even being able to withstand much longer boughts of cold before freezing. Yet injuries to her joints remain unaffected by this ability, often taking even longer than normal to recover. ~ Powers that will be gained: Storm Manipulation-Blizzard: Minthra will gain the newfound ability to control a sub-section of storms and weather. This ability initially takes the form of sudden harsh drops in temperature around her, and in times of panic or anger a blizzard of varying size would cover the area. . In time Mithra is able to activate this ability at will, choosing either to simply drop the temparature of the area or calling forth a blizzard. She is resistant to the effects of her own ability, even gaining an immunity to cold. While ice still have some effect, sheer cold has no effect. In fact, cold provides her with a speed and strenght boost. ... Dream Walking: Minthra will also gain the ability to walk through dreams, which would sound fun. If it weren't for the nightmares. This ability allows her to enter the mind of other wolves through their dreams, using them to discover secrets or information from the target. . At first this ability is very hard to control and sporatic at best, only being able to know for sure she's in someone's dream when she saw them sleeping before entry. Sometimes even activating randomly while she sleeps, putting her into the dreams of a wolf nearby. This results in her being unable to get a full night's rest, often growing tired earlier in the day. Initially, Minthra can only observe unnoticed from the sidelines within a dream. Being able to connect to any wolf's dreams within a small radius, unless specifically directed at a wolf in particiular. . However with practice she's able to harness the ability more, being able to interact with parts of a dream. Later, being able to change them entirely. Twisting and molding them to her whim. Her ability to focus on specific wolves also increases with time, being able to think of a specific wolf in range to connect to. If that wolf is outside of her radius they must be in line of sight for her to connect to their dreams. . The wolf she targets with this ability must be sleeping for it to work, and while in the dream Minthra is in more of a trance like state. She may appear sleeping yet she is not, and often wakes tired despite the "sleep". There is some information she cannot gain from a wolf's dreams, for example; anything that wolf has forgotten or sealed away within their subconcious. . Appearance after power gain: After the flash her pelt loses most of it's color, bleaching most of her now frosty fur. While some color remains in the form of faint grey markings left over from her coat before, appearing mostly over her back and down her hind to the top of her tail. Even her nose losses some color, becoming a soft grey instead of her normal black. Her eyes however, become a mesmarizing mix of their natural turqouise and violet. While her physical build remains mostly unchanged from the flash, her coat seems to have become much thicker and seemingly coated in a permanate layer of frost. . Muscles ripple beneath his thick coarse pelt, showing undeniable strength. Aspen's coat is a dusty drown that gives way to a creamy tan over his belly and legs, also extending up his chest and jaw. Faint hickory spots cover his back and hindquarters. Black stripes wrap around his legs with a black tip to his tail, matching the black of his nose. While Aspen's eyes are a vibrant gold, shining both with the fiercness and warmth of the sun. . Aspen is a stoic and noble wolf, that sometimes can come off as cold. He is a good natured wolf, while he may not be great with feelings. Weather is be showing his own feelings or percieving the feelings of others, Aspen often is oblivious to such things. Yet the male is very observant of when a packmate is upset or being threatened, being quick to react and act accordingly. He is very protective of those he cares for, while not showing it in most ways, he defends them fiercely. Aspen will sit beside others and offer his silent support, offering comfort with a simple flick of his ears. Trust is something he values greatly, it's not easily gained. Once his trust is earned, he is extreamly loyal. But trust is also easily lost, Aspen often becoming wary of those he no longer trusts. . He is a respectful wolf, and quite happy to be able to help the pack. Aspen is a formidable hunter, skilled in stealth and the strength to support it. Being able to lie in wait and strike without warning, bringing most prey to the ground with ease. Large prey isn't as easy for certain, yet Aspen is still able to use his weight to tip the scales. He is a patien wolf, in both social and hunting. Often quietly watching a situation before choosing to act, using his size to step in and sort things out. While Aspen will stand up for what he thinks is right or for those he holds dear, he is however very respecful towards those above him. While he is sometimes slow to react, when he lands his attack the target rarely gets away. Being able to clamp his jaw shut with enough force to even break bones, or holding on until another wolf makes the kill. He is also able to whistand more damage before severe injury, even being able to put up a fight to a bear. Yet this has it's downstides, often underestimating his own strength with packmates. Sometimes risking knocking others over with small pushes, or needing to be extra cautious to not accidently hurt them. . Stealth While already a keen hunter, Aspen is able to dampen any noise he makes. Able to sneak up on even the most observant opponents, standing over them before they realise he's there. Quiet steps even when he's bounding through dense undergrowth, his dark pelt able to blend in with the shadows cast by the trees. This presents an issue with scaring his packmates, often needing to delibratly make noise for alert them of his presence. This is due to Aspens deadly silent movements, often doing so without realizing he's doing so. ~ Powers that will be gained: Earth Manipulation: Aspen will gain the ability to manipulate the very earth beneath his feet, being able to create earthquakes and call forth large bounders from the ground. Initially, it only creates small shakes with each step. Something that takes him a little practice to turn off. Requiring even further practice to create small earthquakes in a limited area, while increasing both in strength and range the one he practices. . Eventually he's able to pull boulders from the ground, and throw then with variable accuracy. Even able to just create large cracks in the ground. Yet this is heavily limited, requiring focused concentration to control. Being harder to control with strong emotions. This takes a toll on his body, often feeling weak for the following hours. Even having a headache for the next day. While this improves slightly with time and practice, the effect still remains. . Camouflage: Aspen will also gain the ability to camouflage himself, being able to almost cloak himself from sight. Blending in with his surrounding and remaining mostly unseen. While this ability doesn't make him completely unseeable, it does make him very difficult to detect. Being able to almost mirror his surroundings, cloaking him from sight even in varing terrain. . This ability isn't fool proof, having a tendancy to react to his emotions before he can realise. Along with being more efficiant in forested areas, it can still be used to some effect in open terrain. However it requires he either remain still, or move slowly to remain camouflaged. . Initially he struggles to turn it off and on, yet with practice Aspen is able to used it more frequently and for entended periods. Although there is a limit to how long he can use this ability without taking a break, that being only 12 hours without stopping. After which he must rest before being able to use it for more than a few moments. ~ Appearance after power gain: After the flash, Aspen's coat darkens substansialy. Turning a muddy brown that gives way to black over his underbelly, that black extending to his legs, chest and jaw. The hickory spots on his back remain yet now appear lighter, while extending in faint stripes down his tail. Light speckling of his former dusky brown cover his shoulder, and now form a small snip on the bridge of his nose. While his leg stripes have lightened to more of that same dusty brown. She will only grow another foot in height and 20 more pounds. A downy soft coat of tan, orange and brown that gives way to a creamy underbelly and jaw. Black and orange speckles littler her coat. Yet a hickory somatic mutation covers large sections of her pelt. Despite her age one can easily see she is built more for speed than strength. Slim and leathal build, with smaller paws and slender legs. Aria's tail is much thicker than the rest of her pelt, acting more like a plum. Her eyes are a stunning gold like her brother, they shine only with warmth. . She has a kind heart that doesn't judge, rarely is she rude to others. Even when another wolf is mean to her, Aria will just brush it off and continue on. She doesn't hold another's words or actions against them, forgiving them everytime despite some advising her against doing such things. Aria's affinity for compasion is an anomally, considering she grew up not knowing what kindness was as a pup. Her loyalty is to her pack and family, while she may trust everyone to some degree. She only completly trusts those that have proven themselves to be trustworthy. Aria keeps alot of things to herself, even from her own brother. Yet her determination to make others proud is undeniable, yet she is also easily discouraged. While she is very honest with everyone even when it comes off wrong, she means well and by no means tries to be disrespectful to those above her or older. . After the flash, Aria becomes more wary and skittish. Growing quiet and often nervous in stressful situations. While she remains caring and gentle natured, her willingness to trust blindly disipates. She becomes fearful of others and their new abilities, even those she thought she trusted are strangers to her. ~ Strengths: -tracking- -stealth- -good listener- -emapthy- Weaknesses: -sensitive to loud noises- -strength- -endurance- -directionally challenged- Increased Ability: Heightened Senses: Hearing and Smell Aria's sense of smell is very acute, being able to pick out the minor differences in a scent. She is able to pick up scents from miles off, even through rains. While some bad weather can limit her ability to pick up fainter scents, she is still able to track scents over great distance regardless of weather. However, if something with a strong scent is covered over her nose, it can become hard for her to distinguish other scents for each other. This can be tricky as she is often dependant on her smell to navigate. . Aria's sense of hearing is quite keen, with the ability to pick up even small noises from large distances. Being able to hear the faint noises of a mouse in it's den, or the soft steps of smaller animals moving about. While she can hear most whispers, her morals cause her to stay silent. Except when she feels those whispers should be shared out loud. She is also able to keep track of different noises (animal or pack) from great distances, often causing her to help with comunicating between the patrols from the camp. Enhanced Stealth Aria's ability for stealth is greatly increased beyond that of a normal wolf, being able to make her steps near silent. Being able to bearly even hear herself at times, and almost completly silent to others. Her slender paws are well equiped for this task, gliding soundlessly over even leaves. Her tail becomes a tool to dampen any sound from the foliage around her. ~ Powers that will be gained: Invisibility: Aria will gain the ability to cloak herself from sight, being able to make all physical traces of her dissappear from sight. Initally, this ability activates on it's own and it takes her a while to figure out how to turn it off. After some practice she can control turning it on for short times, yet finds it hard to keep it up for long instances. In time, Aria will learn to activate the ability on a whim for longer dirations of time. While she will gain more control on using the ability, it isn't exactly fool proof. Her scent and any noise she makes is still detectable while the ability is active, however they are muted. The ability is also tied to her emotions, such as activating when she gets scared or nervous. . Crystaline Coat: Aria will also gain a special coat, one which the likes would be myth to any. Her coat gains a luster of a polished gemstone, sparkling softly under light. While this ability may seem purely asthetic, it does have a usefullness. After some time, she will become aware of the ability this new coat grants. Hardening her coat to deflect incoming physical damage. However it is limited, protecting most effectively against piercing damage. Partially protecting against blunt forces, her joints are expecially vulnerable. She is also vulnerable to muscle fatigue, and head trauma. This coat is a static ability, and doesn't cost anything to maintain. ~ Appearance after power gain: After the flash Aria's fur darkens to a sleak ebony with a unique shine to her coat. Soft blues and violets dance over her coat, shining beautifully in the light. Yet her leopard markings remain, alone with the remnats of her somatic mutation, but it's shifted colors from hickory to an obsidian black. Aria's eyes will shift from their normal gold to a vibrant sapphire blue, shining brilliantly in the dark. Often Feather is the one to offer comfort to others, being the one to lend an ear or soft words of comfort to those who need it. She places an importance on the safety and welfare of those around her, consistantly looking after the health of others over herself. She tries to uphold a strong moral compass, yet conflicts and tensions are bound to arise within a group. Feather will often break rank when things go to far, wanting to ensure safety and peace. This willingness to take action shows her care for others, not wanting to see anyone get hurt. Being able to almost navigate the expanse of the territory blinded, just by using scnet trails alone. . She's able to observe the world with enhanced clarity, thanks to her remarkably sharp eye sight. Spotting the slightest movements from a distance, notice fine details, and navigate various lighting conditions without trouble. This gives her an advantage tracking, observing her surroundings and spotting potential dangers. -Using these enhanced abilities together makes her an unmatched tracker.- ~ Power(s) that will be gained: Restoration; Feather will gain the ability to heal or restore a wolf's health, while this has it's limits, she is able to treat most scraps and cuts with ease. At first this seemes like the extent of her ability, but in time she finds it has a much more potent use. Being able to treat broken bones and treat dieseases, this takes energy from her however and often leaves her tired after treatment. This ability draws on her own life and health, overuse could have catastrophic consiquences for her. . Force Field Generation; She will also gain the ability to create a force field, that can be used as a shield or an outward blast. Initially, this ability lies dormant, being triggered by her emotions. Starting at only being able to create a small shield that she can move around herself, eventually being able to project the it further and cover a wider area. Feather will eventually learn to wrap the shield around herself or another wolf, defending from 90% any damage taken. Being most efficent with bludgening damage, moderatly with slashing and piercing damage. However, her force fields are weak to elemental damage; be it cold, heat, water or electricity. These force fields are more effecive when used as a barrier over a given area, yet maintaining this ability reguires a large amount of concentration. Not only requiring her to remain stationary, but means her whole attention must be on the force field's stability. .
