I breed mainly for looks and affinity, so of course I end up getting pups that either look pretty that don't have excellent affinity, or that have boosts/defects and excellent affinity but look ugly by my standards. :')

Name:

Sparrow

Age:

5

Gender:

Female

Rank:

Alpha Female

*Desired Rank:

~

Appearance:

Sparrow, like her name, is a brown wolf, with a laced back, speckled legs, and a light pink nose. She can easily be spotted in a crowd by her aqua eyes. Her tones are more orange then earthy, but she won't admit that. She is a large wolf, nearly 150 pounds and 36 inches at the back. Her frame is heavy, making her more suited for fighting and hunting then scouting. Her muzzle is starting to get grey flecks on it. Her eyes are soft and kind.

Personality:

Sparrow is kind, and want's to help every wolf that she comes along. She might seem like a pushover, but if you overstep, she'll become more firm. Sparrow knows that all of her pack mates deserve respect, so that's what she gives. Her loyalty to her mate is one of a kind, and she'd die for him.

Sparrow can be a bit indepent, but if she's told no, she'll back off. She may sulk in a corner, but that only last for a couple of minutes. If something is wrong, she'll be the first one to respond, not to get into the middle unless urgent, but to observe.

Strengths:

+ Fighting +

+ Patient +

+ Mother-like +

Weaknesses:

- Get's easily distracted by pups -

- Helping -

- Slight bit lazy -

Increased Ability:

Enhanced Stealth

Sparrow picks up enhanced stealth, helping her move on her prey better, and not worry too much about them hearing her with the large frame, or clumsy paws. This helps her become the hunter she always wanted to be.

Enhanced Agility

Sparrow also got enhanced agility, making her betting at fights, and hunting. Her frame now seems lighter, even though it isn't, and she now can dogde attacks better. This helps while fighting larger things, like bears and such.

Power(s) that will be gained:

Sparrow gets the power to control bodies of water. The water can come from the ground if wet, dew drops, puddles, or lakes. At first it's just little things, like a orb of water floating where she wants it. It grows to be able to make large waves over an opponent, and acting like a shield, even though you can go right through it.

She can only use this power when she is calm, and collected, and by a body of water. This power can take a toll on her though. Sparrow will get really tired afterwards if it's a lot of water or done for a long time.

*Likes:

Known Name:

Sylvie

Meaning “From The Forest”

Real Name:

Botanophobia

Meaning “Fear of Plants”

Age:

4 Years

Gender:

Female

Aroma:

Before

A noteworthy piece of information for this gal. As one would expect, she coated in numerous perfumes of plant-based origin. Pine, leaves, and an accumulation of different flower-based scents (all of which are pleasant). However, she is best known for the scent of lavender which overrides most of the other scents.

After

The lavender scent remains, but is now coupled with the aroma of ivy and strong flower-based fragrances (which remain pleasant).

Sylvie is quite far down the small side of the wolf spectrum, standing around a mere twenty six inches in height. She is towered by most fully grown wolves – much to her dismay – but that doesn’t make her any less of a menace than them. Her weight backs up this petite stature, only racking up to 123 pounds. Her build is what one would consider to be lean. It is not made for all out brawls, but it can pack a punch if need be. Though, its best asset is its focus on speed and agility. As such, most of her muscles reside around her legs and chest. But they especially form around her hind legs. Due to the amount of muscle she possesses there, she can propel herself forward at high speeds in a matter of seconds and jump rather high into the air. The muscles allow her to easily maneuver around objects as well by providing power to the “push” of her stride. Her coat is heavy with no area lacking in fur density, causing it to be rather troublesome in the warmer parts of the year – with her tail is especially bushy. If she were any smaller, she could honestly pass for a large arctic fox with how fluffy it is. Her cheeks are also noticeably thicker than the rest of hide for some reason, but not to the degree of her tail. Long and slightly sharp claws protrude from her paws – arguably designed for dealing damage and gaining traction on the ground, but are quite handy for digging up numerous types of roots. Some whiskers can be seen sprouting from her upper jaw, medium in length and seemingly thick. Though, they do not serve much of a purpose.

The herbalist’s coat is a simplistic one, being basically nothing but a congregation of a single color. Pristine white is what her fur has decided to call its own. Its shade mimics that white petaled flowers, with dahlia’s being what it is most attributed to. The only noticeable shift in the shade of this white can be found on her tail tip, where the fur becomes a bit creamer than other areas along her body. But besides this, there are no patterns or changes to the white of her coat. Due to its bright coloration, her fur gets constantly muddied. This leads her to having to constantly clean herself to preserve its pristine condition. Some black dots can be found around her lips – right where her equally as black whiskers reside. These dots only form exactly where a whisker protrudes from. Her nose is also pitch black in color and is not as shiny as those of others. As are her gums, minus the “shiny” part. Her teeth are (sadly) yellowish in coloration, mainly due to the plants she works with on a daily basis. Those long claws of hers take on a light and dull shade of tan, almost like the shade of dust. Her eyes are a rich shade of brown and are very expressive. Just a glance into them – even to the most oblivious of souls – can tell one exactly how she is feeling in that moment.

Seeing as she is a healer and not a fighter or hunter, this floral-based canine has not accumulated a great number of scars. She truthfully only has two prominent ones. A nick in her left ear is the first one is bound to spy. It is located along the bottom inner side of her ear. Another is a bite mark along the scruff of her neck. A semi accidental mark that one is, but a scar nonetheless. Besides scars, a large amount of accessories decorate her pretty but bleak fur. Flowers and pretty green leaves are stashed in a multitude of places along her heavily furred body – of all different colors and species. Her personal favorites include a lavender, bluebell, and some ivy. The ivy is likely the most noticeable of the bunch. While its twine is short, it stands out greatly against the white of her fur. It wraps around her neck in a single loop. Almost like those fancy scarves humans wear. A bluebell is stuck around the tip of her tail. However, it appears to be growing a tad old and will have to be replaced soon. Finally, the lavender. Probably her favorite accessory. She entangled its stem into the fur along her right shoulder and can be seen constantly shifting it around to ensure that she does not lose it.

The icy female’s voice is an odd mix of sweet and sour elements. Typically, it is as sweet as honey – simply changing its quantity of “sweetness” depending on her emotion. This sound can be alluring to some… if not for her motherly yet stuck up tone. Especially the stuck up tone. However, at times of immense anger, her choice changes from honey to the sour tang of lemons. It is not necessarily an ear grinding sound, but it can easily put most in their place with its sharp and curt tone. The pitch of her voice is more on the higher side, but is nowhere near the squeaky side of things. Though, it is still hard to enjoy unless you truly get to know her – where she’ll drop the usual stuck up tone for something more friendly. But what most do not know is that she has a great singing voice, being able to hit a large quantity of high notes with such experience that it is hard not to listen. If one even manages to catch her singing in the first place, that is, as she only does it when completely alone.

Personality:

Before

Posh || Conspicuous || Bit Of A Neat Freak || Snappy || Argumentative || Talkative || Gossiper || Knowledgeable || Icy Demeanor || Slightly Apathetic || Hardworker || Attentive || Orderly || Independent

The female scoffs, leaving her head up to the side from its downward position of inspection. Her deep brown eyes roll in their sockets, as though she couldn’t have been more unimpressed. “Another injury? Please! You must try and get yourself hurt at this point.”

Sylvie is no doubt a posh sort of character. She, for one, is most certainly elegant. Her movements are graceful – pleasingly so – and flowy. At times, it almost appears as though she’s floating instead of touching the ground beneath her paws. It is due to this that many consider to be a dove in a wolf’s body. However, her mannerisms make her more of a white rose than anything else. Born from this trait is her rather conspicuous nature. “Honestly, I was just born to stand out,” is what she commonly says to herself and others. To an extent, she is arguably right. That luxurious white coat of hers makes her stand out a lot from the backdrop of the pack’s home. As well as the various plant life she has stuck into her coat – which may as well be the wolf version of a “fashion statement.” Both attract a good amount of attention to her, simply for her beauty. Though she is truthfully neither here nor there on the prospect of gaining such attention. It really just depends on the day how she reacts to wolves granting her their time, ears, and eyes. Mainly eyes. But one thing is for sure, she must always be well kept. Not for sake of attention, but for her own comfort and well being. Allowing others to see her with even a single spec of dirt on her pristine coat would be one of the worst crimes known to canines. Consistent grooming is a must for her, lest her appearance and, thus, beauty be absolutely demolished. Which most certainly cannot be permitted.

Pretty on the outside, prickly on the inside. Or is it prickly on both sides? Either way, the herbalist is by no means as gentle or soft as her overall appearance. She can be quite the opposite, actually – being incredibly snappy and irritable. It doesn’t take much to set off her annoyance. A wolf breathing too loudly for her liking, another constantly getting injured, pups whining about the smallest of cuts, and much, much more. When someone strikes the right cord, best be prepared to take a jump back. While she will never get physically violent (unless someone else attacks first), she will absolutely get right into your face and tell you off with impeccably sharp words. She doesn’t care if what she says is a touchy subject or not. She basically has no filter upon reaching this stage, and she’ll rarely ever feel sorry for what she has said. And don’t bother arguing against her or scolding her for those choice of words. It won’t do anything for either party. She is argumentative, after all. She’d just be spurred on, and will not drop the discussion until many hours following its founding. She’ll almost always stand by her position until the very end, with there having been only one occasion in which she shifted her stance. But that took nearly five hours of conversation… Best to just let it slide, unless it’s way out of line.

Speaking of conversations, outside of arguments and snappy comments, this female is pretty talkative. In fact, it’s one of her favorite pastimes! Oh how she adores the aspect and action of talking with friends for hours on end, complaining about certain pack members, joking about annoyances and other trivial matters, and even saying something as simple as how their day has been thus far. No one is quite sure how long she can actually talk, for the only times she stops is when her companion has to go or she gets pulled away for her own duties. However, her absolute favorite subject matter to prattle about has to be gossip. Any kind of gossip, but especially that which gives her dir- er… information on another. It helps her with dealing with them whilst they’re injured, of course. Yeah! That’s why she gossips! Totally… Anyway, she finds listening to all the rumors and known events (particularly those going on between two or more wolves) to be rather pleasing to the ears. And she will, without a doubt, spread this information to her other buddies. No matter if it is true or false. It makes for good conversation, after all. So why not utilize it? (“No, I am not spreading rumors to get back at her. I’m just relaying information that I have gathered from others.”)

Botanophobia is considered to be very knowledge on a long list of subjects. She knows a lot about the world around her – both in terms of ongoing events in the pack due to gossip and on what lies within the pack’s territory. She is well informed on wolf “biology” and “anatomy” (of the closest thing wild wolves have to that), knowing exactly what the issue is based upon symptoms, expressions, and area alone. But, most importantly, she has a lot of knowledge on the various herbs of the territory. Their uses, locations, duration after picking, and preferred season can all be listed off the top of her head in a matter of seconds… which is something she does often, just to flaunt her intelligence on the matter. She has studied long and hard to ensure that she knows everything she can about every plant in the area. If one wants to know what something plant based is, it’s best to come to her. She’ll gladly inform the ill-informed… in the most condescending yet somehow chirpy way ever.

The snow-covered female is absolutely as icy as her very coat. She is almost unapproachable due to her near-hostile nature. She is not affectionate (generally), and always scoffs at any public displays of it… even if she’d do the exact same thing at times and expects others to not care. She totally won’t ensure that they don’t with a snarl. No, not at all. She can also be this way towards some of her own friends. Strictly on the rough days, though. She is also rather apathetic. An odd trait for a healer of all titles – as one would expect her whole thing to be wishing to help others – but one that comes with some odd benefits. In her eyes, anyway. Such lack of interest or general caring allows her to focus on the real issues going on, rather than a ranting pack member. Or it grants her the ability to flat out ignore the whines of a patient (to an extent) and instead focus on dealing with their injuries. She sees that as quite the plus, even if others don’t see it that way. (“Tsk. They just don’t know what they’re talking about.”)

Sylvie is nothing short of a hard worker. She always puts her duties first and foremost, above nearly all else. Her actions are diligent, showing great care and consideration in what she’s doing. She takes her time, unless the situation requires urgency, and will not allow anything to get in the way of her task. Besides, possibly, teaching her apprentice. Though, she’ll typically just do the task then explain her actions afterwards. During her work – especially when caring for wounds or ailments – she is known to be incredibly attentive. Her attention cannot be broken by most actions or words and her movements will not pause for most anything. She’s even attentive of her patient’s discomfort… which she rarely takes into account unless the specific injury requires it. She is attentive outside of her work as well, constantly keeping an eye out for danger, small strings of gossip (naturally), and actions of others. It is easier to break her out of this type of studying than the others, but it is still a bit difficult. However, she most certainly gets snappy to those that do – with the exception of loved ones and close friends.

Help is not something this female takes… in general, actually. She despises any form of assistance, seeing as an outright insult rather than something coming from one’s generosity. Accepting such insolence (or what she would describe as such) would surely prove that function on her own. But she absolutely can! So what if the task needs two sets of paws? She can do it on her own! No doubt about it. Honestly, offering aid to this gal is like talking to a brick wall. She’ll flat out ignore the kind soul, if not outright snap at them and chase them out of her den or keep walking forward so they are forced to back up. The only small exception she would ever make would be for her apprentice, solely for the purpose of teaching. Nothing more and nothing less.

After

Eerily Calm || Level Headed || Seemingly Emotionless || Near Silent || Patient || Cleanly || Gradually Growing Empathy || Blossoming Kindness || Hardworker || Wavering Focus || Currently Disorganized

The head moves in an eerie fashion, slowly bending down to meet your gaze. The creaking of woods and rustling of leaves can be heard through the movements, as though the woods themselves strain as her body moves. The foliage along the base her tail shudders in anticipation. Of what? Only she would know. Flowers meet your eyes in place of what should have been inside her sockets – small and pink, but their species indecipherable. It was as though they were something entirely new. They rustle as you shift slightly, as though they were truly eyes. The pink of the petals bores into your eyes as her smile grows even wider than its usual size. “I… See… You~”

The biggest change the flash had on Sylvie would have to be her personality. Yes, she became a multitude of greens. Yes, she now has plants growing out of her eyes. Yes, of course she has powers… but underneath all that, her body is still… mostly the same. Her mind, however? It was skewed beyond imagining. And it’s quite noticeable, too. What was once a rather feisty and mal tempered female has now become almost a shell of her former self. She is calm. Eerily so. All her past grievances and pet peeves are all seemingly void now, whipped away by the wind and vines now coating her body. Insults are ignored. Pestering barely gets one an ear flick. And yelling just goes in one ear and out the other. Even physical attacks are not enough to phase her. All she’ll do is slowly turn her head… “meet” your eyes… tilt her head… and just grin. She won’t growl, snap back, or anything of the sort. She doesn’t even react to the pain it likely causes, nor does she express any emotion outwardly. In any circumstance! No joy, no sorrow, no hate, no anger. Nothing. It’s honestly… unsettling. It’s almost as though she’s no longer in control of her own body…

A near silent atmosphere now trails after the small healer, haunting and unnerving in its own right. It’s a stark contrast between the wolf she once was and what she has become. As though she is a shell of her former self. This shift, unlike others, happens instantaneously after the flash. Almost as though it were a byproduct of it. There is much speculation behind the reason why she no longer speaks. Some think it to be connected to her eerie calm state. Others just chalk it up to the obvious mental changes that have occurred. The rest claim that it is the plants that prevent her from communicating, constricting her vocal cords or some of their throat. But there is no telling why. Of course, there are theories about it, but none are easy or light on the ears or mind. It will take time for her to ever speak again. Many months, if not years, will pass before she can even ponder the idea. For now, all she can muster are the air wheezes that one may hear whenever she breathes.

Patience was not really a virtue that was known to be held by this wolf in the past. Honestly, she was anything but patient! Though, not entirely impatient. She would get on other’s cases if they did not meet certain time requirements that she never hinted towards and harp about how they are “as slow as molasses” or how “even a snail could outpace you” or something along those lines. Now, however, patience will be a forming trait of this female. It’s presence will not be felt directly after the flash – differing from all the other noted changes thus far. Rather, it is to be developed over time. Albeit a short period of time, seeing as how her now hindered sight has denied her the ability to move around properly on her own. Let alone function how she used to. She will be feeling very agitated with her own body for some time after the flash. But patience will grow from acknowledgement that she will eventually get used to the all-but-new life. Even if it is a large roadblock within her life.

One thing that hasn’t changed about this female is her cleanly nature. Despite the numerous plants growing from her hide (and lack of sight), she has still managed to keep a pristine like appearance. Her fur is well kept and free of most dirt. Her plants are relinquished of any loose or dead leaves or even petals. Any scar-coated-vines are always well dressed and treated. She is also careful to avoid dirty situations where she can. If she can even notice them, that is. More than likely, it’ll be the one guiding her around that makes her avoid the muck. Still, she… appreciates it.

Another gradual shift in Botanophobia will be faced by some growing empathy. Over time, she will turn against her uncaring ways and become one of the most caring beings ever to walk these lands. Somehow, some way, that icy heart of her will lose its outer shell. Perhaps it will be the gentle patience and compassion of another despite having to deal with her previously harsh ways? Maybe she has been humbled by her own founding issues? That is uncertain. A blossoming kindness will also form from the interactions she has after the flash. Especially those that are of kindness itself. She, unlike her building compassion, will not be the kindest wolf. She will still have her harsh moments (a habit from before). But she will be nowhere as snappy as before. Not like she has the voice to be so anyway-

It still remains true that Sylvie is an incredibly hard worker. She, as always, takes her job very seriously and basically puts it at the forefront of her life. However, thanks to the… changes she is now forced to face, there arise quite a few… complications to put it lightly. First and foremost, her attentiveness is all but gone at the start. Between struggling to find her away around basically anything, the thunderous whispering of all the plants makes it hard to focus on anything. Let along her own thoughts, which she can barely decipher from all the voices tingling the confines of her mind. This causes her to lose her train of thought quite often, especially when she hasn’t figured out how to quell the plant’s rambling. She has also become immensely disorganized, due to both the voices and her lack of sight. This is likely to improve when she figures out how to control her power of “herbal sensing” but do not be surprised to find various herbs and healing items skewed all around her den and mixed together.

Increased Ability:

Enhanced Senses – Sense Of Smell

Oddly enough, the plant obsessed female only gained a boost to a single one of her senses – much unlike those who received a boost to two of them. Her sense of smell has dramatically increased in its power, with its range and overall sensitivity earning large improvements. She can now catch the scent of things miles away from her if she focuses on a particular one for long enough. Her exact range is unknown, but it is likely around three miles wide. Deciphering between various impeccably similar aromas is also a present capability. She can easily tell the difference between near indistinguishable herbs by taking a single whiff of the items (with her eyes closed, of course). However, she cannot pick and choose which scent to center on if a stronger one overlaps a weaker one. The fresher of the two will almost always win.

Stealth

Sylvie has always been a rather lightweight wolf, airing on the side of speed and agility. Her paw steps – even before the enhancement – rarely ever spurred up racket whenever she moved, no matter the velocity she traveled at. However, the gift of stealth was still not one she would expect herself to have. Improved smell? Sure. It helps her find herbs and other various healing items. But stealth? She wasn’t a hunter (and never would be), so what good would it serve her? Creepy around some lumbering bear that she could already outspeed? Honestly, the very prospect that she can go so easily unnoticed amuses her. Very few can even hear her footsteps nowadays, and – if not for her blaring white fur – she’d basically be invisible to the naked eyes. Though, she cannot help but wonder… if this ability just so happens to be alluding to something… more.

Powers To Be Gained:

Regeneration

The ability of regeneration is not one uncommon to the concept of powers. It’s likely one of the first few thoughts when discussing such a topic. Regrowing limbs, instantly healing over wounds, and whatever else floats their boat. However, in the case of Sylvie… you may as well forget a lot of the known properties of this ability (besides the very basics). They don’t exist to her. Her regenerative properties take a rather “gruesome” or “haunting” turn, and the process at first is quite painful for the first couple of months she deals with this power. When damaged… her flesh doesn’t actually grow back. At least, not at first. Instead, what comes of her is a conglomeration of quickly growing vines and various plant based will cover or replace the injured area – completely replacing any flesh present. This process is quite painful (at first) as she can physically feel the vines and plants extending and growing from her body. Thankfully, though, the unsettling sight of vines-for-flesh will never last. Skin and fur will grow back over the area with time (but it is unknown whether or not her flesh does the same). But this part of the process is slow. It may take multiple months or even an entire year or more for it to grow back, depending on the severity. Once all the fur and skin is in place, the only sign of a former injury will be a small plant growing out of that very area.

Overall, this is a completely passive ability. Meaning that she has no physical control over it. The only improvement this ability will receive with time is to its speed. The rate at which she regenerates vines, fur, and skin will shorten as the months and years pass. Though, the time to heal (hide wise) never goes under a year for serve cases. The only way to prevent this healing ability (at any stage) is by setting her on fire. Though, cold weather does slow down the process by a large margin.

Herbal Colloquy & Sensing

Speaking with plants is a rather bizarre ability that this herbalist comes to possess. Or, better put, the ability to hear or listen to plants speak. How it works is pretty straight forward. All surrounding plants (within a certain radius) can essentially whisper to her. Not in a “conversational” type way, but in a “gossiping” sort of way. The plants will relay various tidbits of information to the female that can either be useful… or something entirely random such as “did you hear about what oak tree caused?” The messages received depend entirely on the species of plant themselves as well as their age. For example, older trees tend to tell stories about their youth that come with wise messages… that are basically only useful for other plants. Ivy and other vines are mischievous – usually speaking cryptically, making harsh jabs, and sometimes giving important details (if prompted or bribed). The differences in their patterns of speech and knowledge allow her to decipher between something like a not-safe-to-use-or-consume holy bush and a completely harmless raspberry bush. Upon first gaining the ability, these so-called “whispers” start out as a roaring mass of voices that she can barely decipher between. Nor can she block them out or get them to shut up. Headaches constantly spur from the bustling “crowd” within her mind, but only when she tries to focus in on what they’re saying. But, being who she is, they are incredibly distracting. So, headaches will be quite commonplace. Over time, she will be able to block out and ignore some plants while listening to others. The prospect of actually speaking to these plants is currently foreign to her (and will likely remain that way for a long while). She may make attempts to speak with them through the bustling mess of her mind, but she is rarely ever fruitful. It is only through patience that she will be able to collect even a single ounce of information from these organisms.

It is from this minor ability (as well as another aspect) that Sylvie gains the power of Herbal Sensing – which is much more “center stage” than the colloquy aspect. (This basically means that her “conversing” with plants only exists because of her sensing ability.) Similar to seismic sensing, this power allows her to basically see without actually being able to. Besides the whisper of plants – who just love to murmur about various life forms trekking through certain areas which are always great distances away – she can also access the fauna by touching a plant. By doing so she can create a mock image of the world within her head. If she focuses hard enough, that is. The only way to true focus, however, is by honing in on that plant’s voice. This image is not very detailed, with it simply being a black landscape with white outlining things around her. At first, it takes a lot of concentration to use this ability (something that she’d be lacking in for quite a while). But, as time moves on, this power will be as easy as breathing to her. However, living beings can only be seen while moving around unless she really hones in on their position. That being said, no one can hide from this female – lest they be in areas without foliage. Not even those with powers that deny others the ability to sense them. She doesn’t sense things like others, after all. She essentially feels them through vibrations and whispers passing between the plants. This ability has been present ever since the flash, with there being no feasible way to turn it off. It is, however, rather weak at the moment. But it will grow with time, and be able to stretch out and sense things miles away.

Backstory:

Sylvie’s heritage is not as extravagant as her coat and personality may propose. Her mother was a rather “harsh” individual, even if she undeniably thought the world of her pups. She had incredibly high standards for them, born out of life and the desire to see them thrive. However, these standards actually drove her pups away as she got enraged whenever they were not met. The flower-pelted female generally took the brunt of these (among a few others of her litter) due to the title she was working towards. Her father wasn’t any better, as he typically stood back and watched her mother throw hissy fits over how “poorly” she had done. This caused quite a few conflicts between the family as she grew older, until it drove her to denounce the wolf as her so-called “mother.” The two haven’t spoken since.

Sylvie’s transformation is not one for the faint of heart. It’s a grim tale filled with immense amounts of pain and discomfort. Her height seems to have remained the same, with nothing having been added or subtracted from it. Her weight, on the other hand, did receive an increase – going from 123 pounds to 142 pounds. This weight gain is from a few select reasons, one of which is an increase in muscular structures. They are much more prominent and evenly spread across her whole body. She has lost the speed and agility aspects she possessed (to a degree) due to the added bulk which has slowed her down. Besides, there is no true need for such maneuverability when she can practically tank all hits thrown her way thanks to her regenerative properties. For the most part, the density of her has remained mostly the same. Though, some fur has grown a bit more around the elbows of her front legs since the transformation. One of the most unsettling aspects – to others, away – is the constant eerie and empty grin she now seems to carry. It rarely ever seems to drop, so it is of little surprise that some think it to be a permanent expression.

From solid to patterned, this female’s colorations have certainly taken quite the hit. All of that pristine white fur of her is now vacant – replaced with various shades of green and black which really follow her namesake. The most apparent color is eerie black. It coats the majority of her fur along her body in its dark and haunting shade. The first place one will spot it is along her back and sides. Here it is broken up by swirls of smokey black, twisting about like vines climbing the limbs of a tree. More eerie black can be found along her under-legs and paws. Above it is mostly a shade of umber which paints most of her upper leg. A small strip of grullo runs along the top of her front legs (right where the elbow bends) while another strip moves along the upper-back part of her hind legs. More eerie green can be found across a small portion of her lower chest – right between her two front legs. Some more umber cuts through this area of eerie black, cutting it off from the fur of the rest of her chest. The final spot of this eerie black runs along the upper ride of her tail, following the bone down to its point. The upper tip of the tail, however, fades from the eerie black into a shade of black chocolate. The second most apparent color is turtle green. It covers portions of the middle section of her body (between the umber underbelly and eerie black back) where it connects to various other areas of her body. One section runs down to meet up with the eerie black along her chest. Wide-ish lines of grullo follow it down on either side of the green. The turtle green loops up to meet fur along her neck while the grullo fades out. The middle sections of her tail, face, and neck all have this shade of green as well. For her tail, the section is small and thin. Underneath it is a much large portion of grullo that lines the entire underside of her tail. The turtle green on her neck has a much larger area than that on her tail and connects directly to her head. The upper part of her neck is mostly raisin black on coloration, with three strips of grullo running through it. One along the top of her neck, another through the middle, and the third towards the edge of the black. Finally her face, which has a wide range of colors surrounding and cutting through the turtle green. First is the chinese black surrounding the underside of her lower jaw, upper head, and snout. This exact color can also be seen on her paw pads and claws. Some more grullo runs around her maw, lining her lips. It makes a swirl at the very end of her mouth which curls into the turtle green. More grullo runs in a line underneath her eyes and to the top of her forehead where it connects to the upper strip of the same color along her neck after connecting her ears. Said ears are mostly grullo in color with eerie black lining the connection between the inner and outer parts of the appendage. Speaking of the inner ear, it is the last spot of turtle green and can be found on her body. One final dap of umber plops itself around her “eyebrows.” The colors of her eyes are unknown. Then again, it is unknown whether she still has them or not. Her gums and inside of her mouth have taken on a green shade similar to the darker shades of what paints her body, and her teeth are now stunningly white. The only thing that has remained the same is the cold black of her nose.

The plants she once held oh-so-dear to her heart have turned against her during this transformation – having physically taken root within her own body. The ivy that had once draped itself around her neck has spread to new areas and has gained another loop around her neck. The lower half of her tail is wrapped around two loops of this ivy. Her midsection is tied up within three loops of the ivy which are much tighter than those around her neck and tail – fitting snugly against her body. One last section of ivy twines itself around her front legs, ending just above her paws. At the base of her tail, a mass of leaves has taken root, almost like a bush. Between the leaves in a few select areas are small cylindrical white flowers of unknown species. Some leaves from this very plant wrap around the bottom-outer side of her right ear. All her scars have been replaced by vines that seemingly act as flesh. Day by day, fur and skin creep back over them – regenerating itself. But what has to be the most haunting aspect of this transformation has to be her eyes. Or what’s there in place of them. Flowers. Instead of eyes within her sockets, she has flowers. Her right eye contains two flowers of a pink shade (their species also unknown). Her left, on the other hand, is a more sorrowful sight. This is where her most beloved lavender resides, amidst some astilbe. The lavender keeps a straight and strong posture, not flopping down to the side like it usually would. As though it’s proud of its achievement. These flowers have been seen and heard rustling whenever she catches someone moving with her sensing ability. Almost like they themselves can actually see their target. It is highly advised that none of these plants are removed from her. Doing so will cause her physical pain and discomfort, as though one was pulling chunks out of her instead of leaves.

After the flash, Botanophobia has found speaking to be physically impossible. All she can muster initially after the event is raspy syllables. Not even full words. Just small and short syllables that few can decipher. Overtime, she will gain some of her voice back. It will be nothing like its former self – still carrying that raspy noise from before. Words can be formed at times, if she strains herself enough. However, they always have some space between each. Her words also seem to almost have an echo to them during this stage, as though she were speaking in a hollow area. Her other noises have taken hits as well. But rather than being gone and replaced with something else, they have been filled with a number of natural sounds. The rustling of leaves and creaking of wood are examples of this addition. Her body itself also seems to mimic these sounds whenever she moves in certain ways. It’s almost like there’s no wolf left. Just a bunch of plants controlling something in the shape of the powerful canine.

Other:

- No one knows Sylvie’s real name (Botanophobia), and she doesn’t intend on telling anyone it anytime soon. If ever.

- Despite being rather icy towards her patients, this flower-ridden female does care deeply about their issues and ailments… not because she feels sorry or anything.

- Ever since the enhancement of her skills, Sylvie has found that her eyesight has slowly been deteriorating. There wasn’t much of a change (before the flash), but things were definitely becoming quite blurry at a distance. She isn’t quite sure why this is happening, though. She’s in perfect health, has been eating well and avoiding ailments, and is rather young in years. This shouldn’t be possible for her just yet…

- Oh, how Sylvie just loves the color purple! She has a habit of grabbing every purple flower she encounters just to place it somewhere in her fur.

- Of course, flowers aren’t the only thing she ties into her wintery fur. Sylv has a good variety of plants, all stuck into the fur of her neck and shoulders. Various vines, ivy, and even portions of… flowering bushes (especially those with white petals). Yeah, she almost entirely focused on flowers.

- After her transformation, this female’s mind is an absolute mess of voices and thoughts – most of which cannot be distinguished between one another. It would be advised that mind readers avoid entering her thoughts until she gets everything under control, lest they desire to earn themselves a headache.

- Never talk to this gal about pain. You won’t know what it is until you experience something as horrid as her transformation.

- When angry, vines can be seen crawling out of her throat and waving about in agitation. No one is quite sure how she remains unbothered by this.

Yes, I have hidden my favorite color in this here section. Yes, it is likely easy ta find. Will I say exactly where it is or which color it is? Not at all. XD

Lots of character growth with this gal. She’s likely ta gain some more aspects ta her personality as time goes on.

Aero – initially – was a heavy set wolf, being purely designed to both tank hits and dish his own harsh blows. He stands at a height of 34 inches, being on the cusp of above average. His weight, on the other paw, is strictly within the medium range for his kind – being around 143 pounds. Muscles are at the core of his build, causing him to appear quite bulky and, of course, strong. They, like those on most wolves, do coat the entirety of his body and are difficult to miss whilst he is moving. However, they are most prevalent around his chest, sides, and shoulders. Here, they can be seen both while moving and holding still. His legs, while not beefy do hold enough strength to support this large upper body. A heavy fur coat covers his entire form, only lightening up around his legs and tail. His cheeks are especially fluffy, making his neck and head appear to be rather large – even in the summer months.

This muscular male has a rather unique coat that is both simplistic and complicated at the same time. It is an odd mix of black and white, almost structured like the pattern of a cold winter’s night. The majority of his coat is a dark and pristine black. The fur of his ears, shoulders, back of neck, lower half of tail, front leg, and lower hind legs are the darkest version of this black – looking akin to the color of ink. His sides, face, underside of neck, and upper legs are all a lighter tone of black-leaning towards a sort of gray. White resides on the rest of his form and does tinker with sections of black as well. His lower muzzle, sides of neck, underbelly, and upper-back of his hind legs are the purest sections of this white. Some white peppering along his back and sides can be considered to be somewhat pure, but does seem to be overtaken by the black in some areas. The final stretches of white come in two line-like patterns. The first of these are a pair of white lines that run underneath the front-base of his ears, and partially down his cheeks – making his face appear lighter in color than it actually is. The other pattern is a thicker pair of white lines running up to his shoulders on either side of him. Both end before actually touching the top of his back. Deep brown eyes top this all off, a stark contrast from the grayscale form he takes. If not for their duller complexion, they could have been considered entrancing to many.

Despite his rank, this dark winter wolf doesn’t have all that many scars. A few are peppered here and there. Some are buried underneath the large amount of fur coating his body. But very few are visible to the naked eye. Among these is a scar running across his muzzle, cutting from the top of it to nearly the bottom of right lip. This scar was granted to him while he was assisting a hunting group in his early years of life. He is a bit ashamed of it, but it at least makes for a good story for the kiddos. A second above-fur scar runs between his shoulder blades, seemingly tracing his spine downwards. It is one that he would rather forget about, but its presence did more than just mark his hide. It’s a remembrance of his fear – gained from falling from a large height not long after he became an apprentice. He doesn’t like to talk about it.

Aero’s voice is an oddly soothing sound, fatherly and tender while still strict and stern in its own right. It seemingly has the capability to both scold and uplift someone at the same time. Its tone is usually on the cheerful side of things – not bursting with energy, but certainly upbeat. A constant sly undertone can also be heard, leading to others having a decent amount of difficulty telling when he’s about to pull something or not. The pitch of this voice is within the medium range, being exactly what most would call tenor. No noticeable accent is present.

Personality:

Confident || Flirtatious || Mischievous || Teasing || Sly || Playful || Loyal || Protective || Loving || Comedian || Impatient With Certain Things || Wavering Attention Span || Slightly Disobedient || Dependable || “Father Of The Year” || Patient With Pups || Temperamental (Afterwards)

“What am I doing? Oh, you know,” he wraps his nearest leg around your shoulder and pulls up in, resting his head against yours, “stuff. Really important stuff. Yeah, oh yeah. Real important stuff.”

Confident is one of the best descriptors to attach to this wolf’s hide. He is undoubtedly one of the more self assured wolves within the pack, having full faith in his abilities to complete near-any task. Hesitation and uncertainty are rare and typically fleeting emotions for him, never sticking around for longer than an hour with very few exceptions. And those exceptions are usually well founded. This confidence of his has – oddly enough – led to him being quite a flirtatious being. Strictly because he does not fear any sort of rejection or outstanding negative reaction. He holds a large amount of trust in this particular set of skills, and believes them refined enough to not lead him astray or make anyone too uncomfortable. Rather, he trusts them to make others laugh – a sound he adores hearing, especially when the perpetrators are his family. However, it should be noted that his flirtatious statements are saved specifically for his beloved and no one else. Both out of common courtesy and adoration of the light-pelted female. He generally attempts to drag her into a line of them as well (hoping that she’d join in on the fun) just to get a reaction out of those around them. Though, he will not take kindly to looks of disgust unless they are the teasing ones coming from his offspring.

Like the rest of his little familial group, Aero is very much a mischievous soul – constantly up to no go simply for the sake of his and his loved ones’ own amusement. Although not as consistent as the other two, he can be rather bothersome when in the mood for causing trouble. He is never malicious towards anyone while doing so – unless they have wronged his family. He could care less if they wronged him personally – and he typically uses such measures to actually mend strained relationships. Or, at least make an attempt to. It was most likely a prank that got him into that strained position in the first place, so a “make-up” prank is not the brightest idea but it has been shown to work. It is not uncommon to find this male purposefully getting himself in trouble with the higher ups just to hear the laughs of Sadie and Shia. He usually annoys them to the point in which they chase after him, a circumstance in which he will utilize his superior agility to dodge their attempts to grab him and do funky moves that are sure to cause laughter. Short quips are also utilized to ensure that the one after him stays focused on catching him. To spur on the initial annoyance (which he will turn into a game of “tag”), he typically enacts a lot of teasing and some “disobedience” – either pestering the easy-to-annoy ones or doing something that he really shouldn’t be. His remarks always seem to hold a sort of slyness to them when doing so, as though he were hinting towards his deceitful temptations before committing them. A small opportunity for his desired target to escape before anything happens. Sylvie is generally his go to for this, but he will step on the tails of the alpha and betas if given the chance. He, of course, is rather playful during this time – egging the one after him on and eventually bringing others into the whole thing. Over time, he will try to diffuse the situation by making the whole thing like one big game, but that doesn’t always work with the more hotheaded of wolves.

As any good father would be, the sentinel is impeccably loyal to and protective of his family. Betrayal is not a word within his vocabulary – having been burned to ash and then thrown into the deepest of lakes the minute he knew of its existence. Nothing can shake the care he holds for those around him, unless the most convincing of evidence were to arrive. But even then, it will take a lot of convincing to make him turn away from that wolf. Promiscuity has also been ripped from his mind, with the very idea sending a mass of shivers down his spine. Never will he turn his back on those he holds dear – especially not his mate. Those held by the wings of his heart have nothing to fear, for he will always be there to protect them from their wildest fears and foes. Defending others with his own life is done without question, no matter who they are and what they’ve done (for the most part). Even those who have clawed him in the back are not exempt from this. Though, that does not include those that use his family to do so. To him, they are the scum of the earth and he’d rather claw out his own eyes than save them – simply to watch them rot. However, he, unlike some others, will continue to treat them with a good chunk of respect – though, any amount of possible trust is forever gone. This treatment may make him gag at times, but he’d much rather let things stew than cause any sort of conflict between back members. At least, any more than there already is. Such actions, including the way he oh-so gently treats his offspring, have granted him the title of “loving” by the majority of his pack. A soft hearted canine strictly out to protect his family through any means necessary. A worthy lifestyle if he does say so himself.

If it wasn’t made particularly clear by his previously listed aspects, this tallish male considers himself to be somewhat of a comedian. A pack-clown if you will. He all but lives for laughter, as though he granted him more sustenance than actual food. He will do a lot to be granted the honor of hearing such a sound – jokes, pranks, getting into trouble, and much more. There truly is not one particular method that he deems more entertaining or useful over the others, and simply switches them up depending on who he interacts with. Though his choices are not always the wisest when it comes to this, saving pranks strictly for the more hotheaded, impatient, or serious wolves of the pack. But he does have the courtesy to only grant jokes to the emotional, stressed, shy, or hurt members of the pack. He does not wish to be the one to push them too far with just the thought of doing so causing aches within his heart. His jokes towards this specific group are gentle in nature and work to mend at least some amount out the pain, but he will let up if receiving negative or no reactions.

On the off chance of a bad day or simply one in which he feels the need to be mischievous, this male can become pretty impatient with most things. Not to the extent of getting annoyed with another, but enough to make him constantly lose focus on what he is doing and shift to a whole other topic or idea. Outside of bad days, his patience usually wears thin while waiting to be assigned a task or waiting on another to start one. He prefers to constantly be doing things to keep his mind from wandering to some unsavory topics or boredom. And from boredom sprouts his disobedience. Though, that is not the only factor in it. Once more, it should be noted that this is rarely (if ever) done out of malice. Rather, it is simply a method used to entertain himself and others. This most often takes the form of just not being in the area he was designated to watch over, or being nowhere to be found when daily tasks are divided amongst the pack. (“I like my morning walks. What can I say?”) Although annoying, it can make for some funny chase-and-run interactions between him and the more serious members of the pack. But, despite his occasional streak of disobedience, the soon-to-be-winged sentinel is actually surprisingly dependable. He is always ready to aid his pack and always shows up when it is needed of him – especially during the most dire of situations. The most important of tasks granted to him gain his utmost attention, and are consistently put before his own needs (but not his family). Even when assigned the more “boring” tasks, he has proven himself to be incredibly reliable when he needs to take things seriously. Otherwise, do not expect too much from him.

While he is new to the whole “father” role, Aero has proven to be an amazing parent for his beloved pups. He is protective, kind, playful, loving, and yet stern all the same. He enjoys hearing the laughter of his offspring as well as that of other pups, including those not of his descent. Although rather troublesome for his pack at times, he still tries his best to set the best example he can for his pups – ensuring that they learn from both his rights and wrongs, and improve upon the wolf he already is. He has attempted to slightly lessen his mischievousness after having his first litter… but he wouldn’t be Aero without being a troublemaker, so he hasn’t changed that much truthfully. Though he does discourage his little ones from partaking in or pulling the pranks he enact… but he still encourages harmless pranks and jokes for his pups, as well as drags him into some of his own! Can’t have their lives be entirely too bland now can he? He will also gladly be the victim of any pranks the pups wish to pull, having the patience to deal with practically whatever they may pull. However, as one would expect, he draws the line at getting another hurt.

The only addition to his personality after the Flash, but a dangerous and almost explosive one at that – this poor endearing soul has become quite temperamental after shifting into his new form. This once calm and outgoing wolf now becomes one who is easy to rile up and upset. Well, for those outside of loved ones, but even they are not completely taken out of the “annoyance” equation. This change has led to him being very risky to be around thanks to the chains wrapped around his body, specifically in the early days following the Flash. He will eventually tame this wild side, but not without some “collateral damage” having been dealt. No one knows the exact cause behind this change, with there being a multitude of speculations about it. The main three being: it is a byproduct of the Flash, it is a severe reaction to his transformation (which, by this theory, he would be incredibly upset about, or it is those cursed chains causing this change of mindset.

Increased Ability:

Strength

Strength – a great asset for what could essentially be considered a guard. Although Aero had always been known for his strength, none could have predicted that it would increase to such a degree. His bite force is now equivalent to that of a black bear. His general physical prowess, however, is nowhere near that of a bear’s. But he still has the strength to easily topple some of the lighter prey items as well as easily pin down most wolves. Other than this, there is not much to remark on.

Agility

For one as strong as he, it is quite surprising to discover that this sentinel’s other enhanced trait is agility of all things. One would expect something along the lines of stamina of enhanced senses, but no. He was granted the ability to dodge attacks and travers difficult landscapes with ease. No one is sure why this is the case, but it will be revealed in due time.

Power(s) that will be gained:

Aerokinesis

Aerokinesis – otherwise known as the ability to control air – has become a pinnacle aspect of Aero’s life after the Flash, and proves to be one of the more difficult hurdles for him to cross. Not only is it completely unpredictable at first, but it hinges a lot of its power off of his emotions. Meaning that, if a strong negative one is felt, a powerful blast of wind is likely to ensue. But, when calm or in a “positive” mood, this ability is rather… lacking at first. He is only able to produce a small gust of wind during this time, barely strong enough to rustle the leaves of the canopy above. Thankfully, over some stretch of time, he will eventually gain enough control to only create blasts when desired as well as make them as strong or weak as he wishes. The creation of updrafts will be his go-to choice of usage, as will the manipulation of air currents (which is one of this ability’s strongest utilities). Combined, these two will aid in his endeavor to master the art of flight – keeping him in one place or allowing him to avoid obstacles when coming closer to the ground. When completely conquered, this ability will be strong enough to send a full grown moose flying backwards.

Binding Fury

An incredibly niche ability of his, formed strictly from the chains wrapped around his body – Binding Fury is a power that this dark coated male is surprisingly fond of. By utilizing his aerokinesis, Aero can manipulate these chains to entangle around whoever or whatever he desires with impeccable precision. However, they do not necessarily require the usage of air to conduct this action and seem to almost have a mind of their own at times – snagging anything they so please with or without his knowledge. His chains, mystical as they are, have also developed the capacity (or simply came with the capacity) to bind themselves together in such a way that makes it seem as though they are not separate entities. Instead, they appear to be simply parts of a whole. In the later days of his transformation, they manage to increase in length on their own accord, even if all parts are connected – increasing their range to a significant degree. This power of theirs does and will always have a limited range of around fifteen feet maximum when fully fledged, but is around five at the start. The power of his ability becomes increasingly dangerous in the early days of his transformation, seeing as these chains appear to lash out whenever he becomes enraged – hence its name – or whenever he believes himself or his family to be in danger. And, due to a lack of initial control, a helping hand can become something a bit more deadly. In order to master this ability, he must first quell the anger which developed after the Flash.

Following this Flash, a lot has changed with Aero’s overall build – both in general structure and overall appearance. His once generous height of 34 inches has jumped up to a rather staggering 40 inches, excluding the new extremities he possesses. His weight, however, only increased by four pounds (now being 147 rather than 143). An odd difference in values seeing as one would assume his weight would increase to a much larger value. But the reason behind this will be explored later on. His previously slightly fur-lacking tail is now immensely long and fluffy. It drags across the ground as he walks, occasionally picking up sticks and leaves along the way. It can be a chore to clean alone and often gets caught on bramble and branches in the earlier days of his transformation. His ears have grown much in length, looking much like those of a bat and less like a wolves’. Their ends are sharply pointed, but are still as flexible as any other mammalian ear. If not for his species, it’d easily be described as those of an elf. On the inner part of his hind paws now resides two raptor-like talons. They are large and sharply curved – dang to any unwise enough to attempt and attack from behind. Though, it is unlikely that they would be able to pick anything up. His fur has remained mostly the same in terms of texture and length, with only his cheeks and front knees having gained some more fluff. The wildest part of his transformation has to be the arrival of two large wings protruding from his back. They are coated start-to-finish in bird-like feathers, with the largest being oddly trapezoidal or rectangular in shape at their tip. At the wings’ joints, two “finger claws” jut out – akin to those of dragons and wyverns. Their purpose is not yet known to the male, but he will eventually figure out a multitude of ways to utilize them. Upon their initial appearance, their positioning will be… rather awkward at first – with him constantly shuffling them about to find a comfortable position for the appendages to rest. It is not uncommon to find them at two different angles, either. However, later on, they will either be held above him or at his sides.

For the most part, not much has changed when it comes to the sentinel’s coat. It still retains its mostly black coloration, but is a lot more uniform than before and has less division. Rather than having light grays and whites sprinkled here and there across his pelt, he now has consistent patterns across his body. The “base” black is now slightly lighter than what he originally possessed – having an obvious gray tone to it. In a way, it appears like the black of a night sky where a full moon is present rather than the new-moon-night black from before. However, that pure inky black does still remain, having seemingly faded out to the outer edges of his body. It now paints the toes of his front paws, back of his neck and hind legs (right along the spine), “eyebrows,” and the underside of his neck. His tail also appears to faintly fade into this black from the new-moon one. Thick swirls of a barely-distinguishable blue-black – almost structured like the pattern of drawn-out air currents – run down the top of his tail. They can only be noticed within the brightest of sunshine and can almost be described as splotches or patches of this color if not for being connected. Along his hind legs and lower body runs a mass of lighter gray swirls, once more akin to the “shape” or air currents and breezes. They are difficult to miss due to the contrast they have with his “base” coloration, and are not symmetrical (when comparing the two sides that is). Such a case can be seen in the lower portion of his right hind leg which has four gray lines running down towards the paw – something that cannot be observed on the other side where it is just solid black. More of this shade of gray can be found along his shoulders, on the tufts of fur on his front elbows, underneath his wing-body connection, and behind his cheek, right on his neck. Speaking of his wings, they still maintain that full-moon gray towards their main bone mass, but do fade into the new-night black seen elsewhere on his body. Some of the lighter gray has also made its way onto this part of his body, running along the top edges of them. Some stripes – similar to those seen on his right hind leg – can be found on the top of the “sharpened” tips of his primary feathers. Coming to his face, one will find that something new has been added to the mix. The usual mix of grays and blacks are, naturally, present – especially along the insides of his ears where it swiftly fades from the full-moon black into the lighter gray at its base. Not much patterning can be seen here with being mostly standard in color. However, a thin line of gold can be viewed running up the outer edges of his ears. It makes for an oddly stunning change of pace in color for such a gray-scale wolf and will likely be the most eye-catching part about him (color wise, of course). His once brown eyes have become a dark gray-near black color, blending in near perfectly with his coat.

Although the male possessed very few scars (let alone noticeable ones), it is clear to all that look upon him that all the previous injuries have been wiped from his body. Not a single scar remains, not even the one that caused him so much turmoil in the past. He is nothing less but a clean slate. However, he is not completely void of any “additives” to his form. Rather, these additions take the form of accessories rather than injuries and old scars. The most prominent of these are golden chains. These chains are a rather intriguing element to this otherwise simply wolf – holding a sort of mystery that no other aspect of him does. They seem to wrap around him across various portions of his body a varying amount of times. On his neck, they wrap loosely around him three times. Those wounds around his upper body do the same, but are a bit more snug than those on his neck. A smaller section of chain wraps twice around his upper right leg, almost as though it were a bracelet of sorts. The final sections of chain are not exactly wrapped around him, but appear to simply drape over his wings. Though, a small portion does wind around the tip of the outermost primary feather on his right wing. Despite looking to be their own “entity,” these mysterious golden chains may as well be a part of Aero. They physically cannot be completely removed from his body, though they can be shuffled and adjusted. What makes them even stranger is their ability to almost grow from nothing – increasing in length and wrapping themselves around anyone the wolf desires to pin down. An odd and soft red glow emanates from these odd metallic structures, brightening and “sharpening” only when these chains are in use. Another interesting (albeit, mostly useless) aspect about this wolf is his teeth. While they have not changed in overall shape, there is a noteworthy shift in appearance. Though still mostly white and natural, the sentinel’s top right fang as well as the tip of the tooth behind it now hold a golden coloration – almost as though the original white teeth were simply replaced. No one is quite sure why this is and it seems to hold no purpose besides those of interesting “looks.”

In terms of his voice, not much has changed for Aero. His voice has persisted through the flash as its usual self, having no change whatsoever. His calls, on the other hand, carry the odd backdrop of various bird calls mixed in with the usual wolf ones. The cry of a hawk now resides within his howl. Growls have a sort of hiss to them, like that of an angry bird of prey. Raven-like sounds occur when he is particularly in a good mood, but the ability to mimic is not present. All other noises (excluding his voice, of course) have this sort of bird-theme to them, containing one bird call or noise or another. His favorite, of course, are his more raven-like happy can – simply because he finds it amusing.

Other:

- Aero absolutely encourages Shiva’s behavior. As well as his offspring’s. He may even join in, every once in a while.

- Only those close to the male know of his true name. Though, he does still request that they stick to “Aero” and not the other one.

- Once he gets a hang of flying, he will absolutely take his little ones for rides just to hear their giggles. Don’t worry, though! He won’t drop them… much.

I’ve been digging brownscales lately for whatever reason.

Female

Elder
*Desired Rank:
Oh she's fine ;)
~
Appearance:

Flame possesses a distinctive and striking appearance that reflects her age and life experiences. Her fur is a rich blend of deep red and brown hues. The interplay of these warm tones gives her fur a unique depth and a sense of wisdom earned through the passage of time. Flame's mesmerizing green eyes, vibrant and piercing, hold a depth of knowledge and a spark of curiosity. They reflect her keen intellect and the wisdom she has acquired over her long life. Her gaze is both comforting and captivating, drawing others in and inviting them to seek her guidance.

As she has aged, Flame bears the marks of her journeys. Patches of white adorn her fur, most notably gracing her muzzle, providing a striking contrast against the richness of her coat. These patches, like snowy whispers of wisdom, add a touch of elegance to her appearance. Scars, weathered lines that outline her legs and back, tell tales of battles fought and challenges overcome.

Personality:
Respectful || Patient || Wise || Enigma || Intelligent || Loyal || Calm || Curious || Friendly || Gentle || Honest || Kind || Reliable
Flame is an incredibly wise and experienced wolf, respected for her age and the knowledge she has accumulated over time. Having witnessed the ebb and flow of generations, she holds the rank of Elder within her pack now. This rank acknowledges her deep understanding of the world and the wisdom she imparts to those around her.

Increased Ability:
Senses:
Flame has an increased sense of eyesight and hearing. She is able to see the tiniest of details from a couple wolf lengths away. Her eyesight comes in handy in lots of times but she also uses it to see the beautiful views on her walks. Her hearing is also well, hearing the smallest sounds from down the trail. As she doesn't hunt as well as she used to, this sense is mainly to make sure everyone is doing well in camp or when a patrol is returning.

Accelerated Healing:
Not the most useful for her as she doesn't get into trouble like she used to, this increased ability helps her joints and muscles. Mainly keeps her able to move around easily and not get any cramped muscles, it's more of a luxury than a use.
~
Power(s) that will be gained:
Cryokinesis:
With this gained power, Flame is able to control and create ice. As she first gets this power, she will walk only on a path of ice. Her paws will freeze the grass in a pawprint size everytime she walks. This will slowly be learned how to control as she learns to direct the ice and create it. Once she learns to completely control this power, she will be able to make ice scultptures, control and create ice on command, freeze her fur and make the temperature turn cold. The downside of this power is that while cold doesn't affect her, the heat does. Too much heat can result in over exhaustion unless she ices her fur.

Forcefield Manipulation:
When she gains this power, she will have a constant gloss to her fur. Whenever she gets scared, a forcefield appears around her. With time and practice, she can expand it and cast it over others for their protection. This will be based off of her emotions with fear activating it and anger disarming it to the point where she can't use it.

Her natural red and brown hues stay, however, she gains a white blizzard on her coat as well as white paws and on her throat. Her fur is now glossy as if she just got out of water and covers most of her scars up. Only one can still be seen on her front right leg. She also gains a white tip on her tail that seems to speckle right in with the rest of her coat.

Name:
Night
Age:
4
Gender:
Male
Rank:
Sentinel
.
Appearance:
Night is a striking male wolf with a sleek and lustrous coat that shimmers under the moonlight. His fur is predominantly a deep shade of gray, with subtle undertones of silver that give him a captivating and ethereal appearance. The interplay of these colors lends depth and dimension to his coat, enhancing his natural elegance. His eyes, like orbs of amber fire, shine with an intensity that reflects his keen perception and unwavering focus. Night possesses a lean and agile form, allowing him to move with grace and precision as he prowls through the moonlit forest.

Personality:
Night is a complex and puzzling individual, known for his calm and composed demeanor. He emits an air of quiet authority and mysterious charm that draws others to him. Beneath his cool exterior, Night harbors unwavering loyalty and a strong sense of duty towards his pack. He is deeply protective of his pack members and will stop at nothing to ensure their safety and well-being. Night's intelligence and strategic thinking make him an insightful decision-maker. He carefully assesses situations, taking into account multiple factors before taking action. While he may appear reserved, those who truly know him understand that his loyalty knows no bounds.

Strengths:

Sharp Senses
Night possesses keen senses, particularly his excellent hearing that can hear the quietest sounds.
Nimble and Quick
He excels in agility and speed, making him a skilled hunter and tracker.
Strategic Thinker
Night has a knack for analyzing situations and devising effective strategies, making him valuable in planning and executing missions.
Adaptable
He is quick to adapt to different environments and can handle diverse challenges with ease.
Empathetic
Night possesses a deep sense of empathy, enabling him to connect with the emotions of others and foster strong bonds within his pack.

Weaknesses:

Thin fur
Night prefers the nighttime like his namesake, finding it cooler and much more relaxing than daytime. As he has thin fur, it's also nicer than getting sunburn.
Distraction-Prone
His heightened senses can sometimes overwhelm him, making it difficult to stay focused when there is a lot happening around him.
Trust Issues
Due to past experiences, Night may have difficulty trusting new individuals and requires time to develop genuine trust.
Independent Streak
Night's independent nature and pride can make it challenging for him to seek help or accept assistance when needed.
Unwavering Loyalty
While loyalty is one of his strengths, Night's unwavering devotion to his pack can sometimes blind him to their flaws, making it hard for him to recognize when change is necessary.

Increased Abilities:

Heightened Hearing

Night possesses the heightened ability of heightened hearing. His already keen sense of hearing is elevated to extraordinary levels, allowing him to detect even the faintest sounds from great distances. This heightened ability grants him unparalleled awareness of his surroundings, helping him pick up on the quietest sounds, potential threats and sometimes whispered conversations when he's close by. However, he hates sudden loud noises or or loud noises in general due to his hearing.

Speed/Agility

Night's agility and speed are further enhanced, allowing him to move with unmatched swiftness and grace. His reflexes become lightning-fast, enabling him to dodge incoming attacks and react swiftly in combat.

Power(s) that will be gained:

Camouflage

Night possesses the ability to blend seamlessly in with any color, his coat turning an array of colors. This power will allow him to disappear and camouflage in with whatever is around him. At the beginning, his coat will change color depending on his mood. As he learns to control it, he will find himself able to blend in and move around in the camouflaged mode making himself almost invisible. This requires a lot of control on his emotions and the focus to keep his pelt a certain color. While this doesn't take much energy, you can see most of his emotions on his pelt.

Enhanced Empathy

Night has an innate capacity to sense and understand the emotions of others. This power enables him to empathize deeply with those around him, allowing him to provide comfort, support, and insight. Night can project a soothing aura that calms heightened emotions or use his empathy to detect hidden motives or truths. However, his ability is limited to sensing and interpreting emotions rather than manipulating or controlling them. Night must also be cautious not to become overwhelmed by the intense emotions of others, as it can exhaust him both mentally and physically. When he becomes overwhelemed at the beginning, his pelt is pretty much a neon sign saying 'I know how you feel'.

Likes:

+ Solitude +
+ Night Sky +
+ Patrols +
+ Strong Bonds +

Dislikes:

- Chaos -
- Betrayal -
- Bright Lights and loud noises -
- Unnecessary Aggression -
Appearance after Power Gain:
After he gains his power, his original pelt stays the same. However, depending on his mood will determine his pelt. If he's angry, his pelt takes on a dark red, almost brown color. When he's scared, he will temporarily become camouflaged with whatever is around him. This color can also be determined as pale white or an almost transparent grey. When he's embarrased, yes, he turns as pink as flowers. Other color will depend on the mood but this is a basic guidline.

Name:
Shia
Age:
5 years old
Gender:
Female
Rank:
Queen
*Desired Rank:
Sentinel again
~
Appearance:

Shia is, despite her actions, a cleaned up kind of wolf. She likes to keep her pelt clean, even after a particular dirty trap. One of the things she likes to do a lot is swim, bathe and just float. Her fur helps with that a lot. She has thick white fur that keeps her warm during the winter and helps her stay buoyant in water. It's not quite long enough to act like a sponge but thick enough where she can get quite hot under it unless she's floating.

Despite the pranks she gets into, she keeps her coat a pristine white with the discrepancies easy to see. One easy discrepancy would be the cream intertwining her coat. These markings along her back, legs and tail are delicate and lends her a unique and captivating charm. Her eyes are a mesmerizing shade of green, with a slight hint of brown like the environment around her. However, they normally have a mischievous glint residing in them, a sparkle that seems to dance with every step she takes. These eyes reflect not only her joy in creating mischief but also a keen intelligence that aids her in navigating the intricate mysteries of the forest.

Despite her petite stature, Shia is solidly built, her physique a testament to her agility and speed. Her small frame allows her to dart through the underbrush with ease, making her a swift and nimble predator when the need arises. One can't help but notice her right front paw, which stands out with its distinct light grey hue. It's a quirk of nature that only adds to her individuality. Her journey through the years and her traps has left their mark on her. Her paws bear scars from past adventures, souvenirs from encounters with thorns that tell stories of her reckless spirit.

In the forest, she stands out like a cardinal at sea. However, as soon as she joins with the water, she becomes one with the water. Her white pelt can be very hard to see when the sun is out and the blue water is reflecting. Just watch out because if you don't see her in time, you'll get splashed. ;)

Personality:
Humorous || Unpredictable || Sarcastic || Overprotective || Mischievous || Reckless || Annoying
Shia is an interesting character to say the least. Let's start with her mother side. She can be very overprotective over her pups, but she does not play favorites. Touch her pups without her supervision, you will be the victim of her next trap. No messing with the pups period. If they are within her eyesight, she is perfectly fine. There is a soft side to her, only when she is around her pups. This side of her can only be seen when she's in the den or with her pups, every other time, you will recieve her normal placent look.

Now that the mushy stuff is out of the way, let's talk about Shia's main personality. She is indeed unpredictable and reckless. At times, she aims for it as she can be arrogant for some parts, especially when it comes to scouting. Originally a sentinel, she has always had a wary ear out. And I mean that in a figurative meaning. While she does not have the senses that some of the others have, her speed and agility lets her move through the forest with ease. It also allows her to keep up with her pups easily. She also has accelerated healing which explains her abnormal recklessness even with pups.

Her recklessness normally gets her in trouble, per normal but not in the normal ways. This melds and molds with her mischief side big time. Think of pranks and jokes on others now. Maybe glitter or feathers right? Uh huh, now think about it on a wolf. They don't exactly have thumbs. Think on it for a bit. Done? Good, let me explain: Don't get on her bad side. Either your with her or not. Her tricks normally spell out trouble. T. R. O. U. B. L. E.
Trickster. Always up to no-good tricks and not stopping for anyone.
Razor-sharp. Her tricks are always new, enforcing her unpredictable side. She will use a trick a few times before pulling a whole new one when your expecting that same one.
Oh boy. She gets this saying a lot. Mainly when she's on her way over to someone. It usually means she is going to be a) annoying or b) she's up to something.
Unstoppable. Would you like to try to stop her? She listens, to some extent, to the alphas but she will never do it in front of them. No, she waits for the perfect moment to strike.
Brazen. And not afraid to show it. She's bold to try new things but also shameless in doing her tricks. You will never hear an apology from her. If your expecting one, you can wait to your deathbed. Apologies are a weakness.
Liar. This is self-explanatory. While there is always a little bit of truth in her words, there is a lot of white lies. She loves stirring up trouble, whether its with her words or with her intelligence.
Egotistical. Well, we should have figured she had a big ego. She is remarkably self-centered unless it comes to her immediate family.

When she's not trying to be T.R.O.U.B.L.E. she is humorous in a good way although she can be quite annoying. Mainly, she will talk your ears off or be downright sarcastic if she knows she's being ignored. Basically, you need someone that thinks she's the best wolf in the pack, Shia is your girl.

Power(s) that will be gained:

Illusions:
At first, Shia will think its a trick of light. However, as she delves farther in, she will find that she can do simple tricks such as make herself disappear from sight or a small critter where there isn't. As she gets better and learns, she can create large illusions that can help with her traps. However, the larger the illusion, the more energy it takes. Her healing does help with this to a point but does not help completely.

Crystalline coat:
First thing that comes to mind for Shia would not be rocks now would it? Well, guess what? If you gotta have mischief, you've gotta have shiny objects. When the flash came, she seemed to absorb some of the colors of the rocks around her. Whether they were buried deep underground or in front of her face, their colors drained onto Shia. Basically, this power gives her the ability to change colors, only from different rocks. At first, she not only feels odd sensations above but her pelt will slowly transform into a variety of colors depending on what rocks are around her at that time.

She has literal no control over this at first. If she's setting a trap and then seeing who will be the first to step into it, her whole coat will turn as black as onyx with points of red highlighting the points. Where the white in her coat was would be black, where the cream once was, it would be red. When she's the token of innocent, her colors will return to a neutral light color of her new pelt which can be found below. When she's upset, nervous, scared, etc., her colors will change corresponding in two parts.

However, as she learns more about this power, she will be able to shift her coat on will and give you the complete opposite look for the mood if she wishes. Doing this will not take energy but it does take concentration and focus to keep it for a long period of time, getting harder as it continues.

Who's ready for this? Definitely not Shia. Poor girl practically cried when she saw the goop on her fur. Once she got a good look at herself though, she was okay. When the flash happens, her pelt will slowly start turning orange except for her paws and her head. Once all the whiteness is gone from the needed areas and orange covers, the rest shall follow. Should take the rest of the day. Her eyes, nose, tongue and stripes on her tail will be the last to change.

Personality after power gain:
Hmm. . .did Shia change that much? If you count her feisty spirit to get into even more trouble, her added like and collection of rocks, and her recklessness to being as annoying as ever. Perhaps. She's the same foxy troublemaker as before but now she has a pelt to match.

Major WIP!
Name:
Tali
Age:
4 months
Gender:
Female
Rank:
Pup
*Desired Rank:
Hunter
~
Appearance:
Unlike her siblings, Tali stands out as an albino pup, her fur as pure as freshly fallen snow. The short yet dense fur provides her with both warmth and agility, allowing her to slip into the tightest of spaces with ease. Despite her albinism, Tali's eyes reflect her father's essence, a warm shade of light brown that seems to dance with mischief and intelligence. Set against the backdrop of her snow-white fur, they blend seamlessly, adding depth and character to her already captivating appearance.
Credits go to CastleGraphics@DA for image.

Her fur, while short-haired, has a delightful fluffiness to it, capable of spiking up like a hedgehog's quills when she shakes dry, only to settle back down just as quickly. Tali may be slightly smaller than her brother, but what she lacks in size, she more than makes up for in spirit and mischief. Her paws, slightly larger than they should be, often betray her attempts at gracefulness, resulting in moments of endearing clumsiness as she navigates her surroundings with her long legs. Despite her occasional lack of coordination, Tali's narrow face and delicate features give her an air of innocence, further emphasized by the pink nose that sits at the end of her muzzle.

But beware! Behind her picture-perfect smile lies a mischievous mind and a spirit untamed. Tali's appearance may show innocence, but those who underestimate her based on looks alone do so at their own peril. She's a pup of many surprises and tricks, her appearance merely scratching the surface of the promises that lie beneath.

Personality:
Trickster // Mischievous // Sarcastic // Unpredictable // Confident // Sly // Independent // Impatient at times // Sassy // Short attention span // Quiet/Non-talkative // Attentive to detail

Her personality takes after both her mother and her father. She's a little fox herself, constantly pranking the other pack members and doing little deeds. Tali has a good bit of sass to her as well, including some sassy comebacks and quirks when talking. You can hear the sarcasm in her voice more than half the time, which can boost her tricks and mischief. She has a streak here and there where she is the picture of innocence.

Tali's confidence radiates like a beacon, illuminating her every action with self-assurance and poise. From the moment she sets paw in a room, there's an undeniable aura of assurance surrounding her, as if she knows she belongs wherever she treads. This confidence stems not only from her innate charm but also from her fiercely independent nature. Her independence shines through in the way she tackles challenges head-on, never hesitating to forge her own path even when faced with uncertainty. Tali thrives on the thrill of discovery, embracing each new experience with an adventurous spirit and an unwavering sense of determination. She's not afraid to take risks or venture into the unknown, despite failing a multitude of times, she always gets right back up. You can't keep this pup down!

Despite her sassy demeanor, Tali is not one to engage in idle chatter. She prefers to observe quietly, taking in the details of her surroundings and analyzing them with a keen eye. This attentiveness to detail allows her to pick up on things that others might overlook. Tali's sass is sharp and her words drip with sarcasm and show her attitude. There's a playful edge to her sass, a hint of mischief ready to come out. She's also not afraid to speak her mind, no matter the consequences, and she'll gladly challenge anyone who dares to underestimate her. But for all her sass and bravado, Tali's attention span is as fleeting as a summer breeze. She's easily distracted by the slightest hint of excitement, her focus shifting from one thing to the next with dizzying speed. It's not uncommon for her to start a task with boundless enthusiasm, only to abandon it halfway through in favor of something new and shiny. Which after the flash, mainly becomes her mother and her own power.
