Appearance: Willow is on the smallish side with a round face and long redish brown streaked dark blond hair always pulled back into a messy braid. she has round half- eyes one sky blue one maple brown. She has a curious but somewhat intimidating stance. Her smile which you almost never see is bright and charming. Willow has a leith and agile frame so she can easily hide in small spaces.
Opinion on escaping: she wants to and has tried to convince others to many times. Though secretly she thinks it might not be possible but with enough people with the right powers she thinks that they can.
Personality: Willow has a rebellious personality that has gotten her in trouble more then anyone can count. She will never leave someone behind it she can help it. She is kind but mostly shy and can be very fierce at times with just enough mischief that makes a lot of people get the wrong impression at first glance. She has some animal ish characteristics like the sky Fox or a ferocious lion until you get to know Willow very well you will never know what she is going to be like that moment and even with close friends it's easy to be uncertain.
1. She can see the auras and spirits of animals and has the chance to control them it works best with animals that are most like her.
2. Her second power hasn't yet shown itself Willow hopes it's something amazing and unique.
Likes: outside, freedom(hasn't had much lately), the moon and stars, Animals in general mostly cats
Bisexual (male lean; though may fancy herself with pining after a pretty girl)
Adallina is captivated by the thought, but it’s never been done successfully, therefore she’s more likely to denounce attempts. Especially because Ambrose is so determined to get out, and in the end she couldn’t stand to see her brother -or anyone else- get hurt, or worse, in an escape attempt. Tempting, but for now she’s not interested in trying.
There is a beauty to Adallina that is best described as ‘dark’. She’s not exactly a cover model, and certainly no delicate looking doll. However she does possess curves, a face that sings with simple enchantment, and an ever present aura of grace that makes her in herself attractive. Her face is in the shape of a softly chiseled heart, with a set of well defined cheekbones to add a flare of definition to her otherwise soft jawline and rounded chin. A piercing sterling gray is the primary color of her eyes, although in her left is a dark brown spot that takes up nearly half the color in her eye. It’s considered to be a birthmark, although Addie sees it more as a subtle ‘beauty’ mark. Just above her eyes are a thinner set of highly defined and angled brows -which are just naturally that way rather than her plucking or anything to maintain the sharp thinness. Addie possesses a more pointed nose with an otherwise straight bridge, with a slight upturn as well. The lips that are either always held in a straight line or a faintly bitter smile contain a slight pout to go along with their natural medium toned pink hue. From those lips comes a voice that’s a soft yet chilling sound. It’s an octave or two higher than the average girl, but it’s oddly fitting. Adallina’s natural color of hair is a bright ice blonde with softer, warmer touches of vanilla highlights. There is a natural subtle wave with evident volume to her hair that falls to her mid back, although one is more likely to see Addie with her hair styled in a fishtail braid, or put up into a messy bun. If she feels up to it, Adallina may add a touch of the few dazzling hair clips in her possession, but she has to be in a particular mood for that to happen.
Addie stands confidently at a height of 5”8, which makes her gracefully regal stance somewhat intimidating, though it goes along rather well with her jaggedly cold stares. In contrast with her aloof demeanor, her skin is a shade of a warmer olive with a touch of medium undertones. It looks more like she’s constantly slightly sun kissed with a soft tan actually. It’s rather rare to see her in a greatly relaxed stance, which could make her appear a little rigid when she’s still. That observation is highly misleading though since she is an extremely agile and swift female. Her body is a bit above averagely toned, though it helps to demonstrate how often she labors her body into being what is currently. Well, a higher metabolism helps too. It’s pretty clear her figure though does not support a woman capable of brute strength, but rather great flexibility and quick movements. She still holds a light hourglass figure that is really just her natural body type, no matter how hard she has tried to make herself perfectly proportional. Adallina has a variety of thinner clean scars, mostly in part due to various experiments though.
Adallina is someone that dresses in a multitude of ways. It depends more on the goals she sets for herself that day -and the clothing she’s managed to get upon request. If she’s hell bent on spending her day molding her body through the practice of aerial silks, a sports bra and thin capri leggings is what she sports. When she feels the need to dress nicer, typically she can be seen in some kind of darker colored blouse and jeans, or a simpler dress that falls just below her knees. Casually; the baggier the better. Addie actually has quite the wardrobe though -since a multitude of clothes have been her most requested item-, so she’s capable of pulling off and wearing a variety of looks. Shoe wear usually consists of converse and running shoes, though every now and then she enjoys strutting in her lone pair of gold sequin heels.
Adallina is hardly as complex as her twin counterpart, but she is still very much her own interesting creature. One that breathes grace, and walks with a regal majesty, Addie is equipped with a mild temper. She’s fairly passive, and should one notice, perhaps a little too passive sometimes. More often than not Addie breaks down people on a psychological level to determine how she can adapt to be in their presence best. While she can -and occasionally will- use her power of observation as a tool in her manipulations, more often than not she’s just trying to chameleon herself with others to fit in. A habit her brother shuns her for often, but Addie can’t help it. She wants to be liked, she craves positive attention, and is willing to go to concerning lengths to get it.
Addie is someone considered to be a ‘listener’. She doesn’t boast or talk anyone’s ear off about herself, but rather she listens intently to others. Usually asking questions perceived as sweet, caring even in order to derail a conversation from focusing on her often. Not that she has anything to hide, she’s just trying to get across that she’s interested in whoever she’s speaking with. Addie never wants to be seen as vain, or selfish, and she associates talking about herself with both of those ugly qualities. When hurt, however, she packs just the right amount of intensity to not only be taken seriously, but to be someone whose threats should be feared. When she says she’s going to do something threateningly, oh, she’s making a promise that she is hellbent on following through with. Can one blame her though? She’s become accustomed to being treated like an object in the facility, just as the rest of the experiments, so sometimes someone needs to settle the playing field. More often than not the scientists are her targets. While Addie is not a fighter, or someone who likes confrontation, she will go out of her way to spark a war path with anyone she believes is worthy of receiving her scarcely seen wrath. As one will come to know, Addie can be highly opinionated and will argue her point out with nothing short of cutthroat words and undeniable facts. Although, of course her passive nature makes some of these more intense sides to her extremely rare to ever witness.
Good friends are in short supply these days so Addie, and as much as she desires attention and company, she is very careful with who she trusts. Naive tendencies can lead her into trouble with trust, but it’s one thing she usually relies on Ambrose for. Because if her brother says he doesn’t trust someone, then that’s enough for Addie to reciprocate the mistrust.
When her goals, friends, and things she feels a need to defend are threatened, Addie can easily turn very combative. She hardly needs any abilities to fight her battles though as her words alone are sure to tear anyone apart from the inside out. Aside from words, her intelligence-fueled manipulative actions are sure to crumble any foundation she intends to knock down. She is capable of so much graceful malice that it can easily be regarded as beautifully criminal. It’s not the kind of person she enjoys being though, but in the end Addie will always do what she believes is needed. And what she believes is best. It gives her no joy to hurt people in any way, and she will often try to defuse situations in a peaceful manner before things escalate, but she can hold her own if need be.
Addie and humor don’t always mix. She’s a little… innocent when it comes to understanding certain jokes. Ambrose’s “that’s what she said” jokes are things she usually never picks up on. So dirty jokes fly over her head. Other puns may take her a second to catch onto, especially various types of word play, but even if she doesn’t get it… the girl will laugh if others around her are doing the same. Addie doesn’t want to risk being ‘rude’, or viewed as stupid -because she’s far from it- when it comes to misunderstanding others, so really she tends to follow after crowds. A minion, or sweet natured “yes man” are fitting terms generally.
Her brother; most of the time
Aerial Silks; she has twin silks setup in her room
Designing clothes; usually ideas are sketched into notebooks, but she’s never been given the tools to be a seamstress
Anyone being angry with her
This is basically an umbrella term for what Addie is capable of. In a basic sense though, yes, the girl can manipulate shadows and any threads of darkness in a half a mile radius to her. What she does with these shadows is up to her, but the dark is a chaotic element, and one that puts up some resistance when Addie comes to tame it. So to wield shadows draws a lot of energy from the girl. How does the facility keep this rather dangerous, sometimes uncontrollable ability at bay? Her wrists are enclosed by silver cuffs, with the sole purpose of inducing a hindering fever should she begin to use too much of her ability. The heat is her ultimate weakness, and an internal fever makes it nearly impossible for her to have the energy to control the dark. Other uses of her ability include:
-Night vision; fairly self explanatory, she can see in the dark
-Shadow Cloaking; Addie can veil herself in invisibility if there’s in any sized pocket of darkness
-Temperature Drop; while difficult to control, when Addie conjures enough darkness in one area, it gets much colder. The more concentrated the dark is, the colder the area enveloped by shadows becomes. We’re talking up to -40 degrees Fahrenheit on one occasion… never again though
-Black Out; not something she can hold for long, but everything in a radius maximum of half a mile goes completely black, and more than likely her use of a temperature drop will come next.
Simply put, Addie can put a temporary end to anyone’s abilities. It’s not exactly a great feeling for her to rip away one’s use of their abilities, but she can, and the recipient will not feel very good either. Stronger willed individuals can certainly fight her for control, but even with very determined individuals, the least amount of time she can keep up with wielding this ability is 5 minutes. The longest amount of time she can put an end to other’s abilities is 30 minutes. And she can only have a hold over two people at once, and even that is highly strenuous. Scientists very much are interested in exploiting this ability, sometimes attempting to get her to use it against her fellow experiments, but Addie refuses. She seeks her fellow experiments' approval more than the scientists after all.
Either way Alex is fine. Escaping would be alright with her but she doesn't see the point in it as she quite likes her neat and orderly life.
Alexandria is rather small and very short as any 8 year old may be. She only weighs around 75 lbs and is a height of 4’7”. Her smaller complexion causes her to get exhausted quite easily and testing is hard for her although she won't show it and always puts a smile on her face when she's alone or just around people.
Alex has darker skin and is African American. Her hair is curly and dark brown. It's harder to take care of so it's almost always kept in two curly braids. Her eyes are a dark brown color which always look excited and friendly towards others.
For clothes Alex likes wearing a plaid skirt and a plain black or plain white shirt along with maybe a jacket of some type. For shoes Alex wears some worn out sandals.
Friendly would be quite an understatement. Alex is overly friendly, loving, and kind. She accepts people the way they are nobody who they are, what they have done, or if they don't even like her. Her cheerful attitude may be described as annoying sometimes but Alex doesn't let those types of negative comments get to her.
This young child is very forgiving also, no matter what you do or what you have done she finds no reason to hold grudges or judge you, Alex simply forgives. She is definitely not picky and will take anything if it's food -that is unless it's spicy- or where she sleeps, or if her request isn't fulfilled exactly how she wanted or expected. Alex just is that way.
The gloomy Facility can't put a damper on Alex’s cheerful mood and she sometimes can make people around her feel cheerful by just hearing her laugh or seeing her smile in these dark times. She loves people and is very extroverted so being locked up in her cell can be somewhat lonely sometimes and she loves the times when they get to be in the freedom zone or whenever a scientist or guard comes into her cell.
How she gets her positive outlook on life and her friendly cheeriness is a mystery that not even Alex can solve. Some might think it's weird for the young 8 year old to be so positive and sometimes sound wiser than those older than her.
Some of her personality has its flaws like how she is overly trusting. This causes Alex to be manipulated by anyone more easily as she doesn't even stop to think who may be bad or good. She is fairly innocent due to this because the scientists have lied to her about what really happens and why they are really there.
- Helping others
- Playing games
- Happy music
- Spicy food
- Sad songs
Alexandria has the power to heal any wound or cut no matter how big or small it may be. Although depending on the size or extensive damage a wound has caused some may take more energy out of her than others. If the wound is too big Alex can't heal it without losing Alex though would happily heal anyone who asked no matter what the cost would be to her. She can't however heal cancer or other similar things like it, although she has been tested on it a few times. Unfortunately the power only grows with age and seeing how she is young it may take awhile before she can heal larger wounds.
Ambrose has tried to charismatically saunter his way out more times than one, only to be so rudely halted. If he even smells a plot to escape in the air, rest assured Ambrose will be leached onto the idea. Sometimes though, for cruel fun, he’ll encourage other experiments to attempt escape in various ways… simply to gauge what works, and what doesn’t in terms of escaping. Hey, why put himself in harm's way when others are willing to endure it? He prefers to work smarter, not harder.
When one hears the word ‘ego’, one may envision Ambrose. His entire demeanor screams ‘I’mbetter than you’. Suited with a chiseled diamond structured face, high set cheekbones, and a slightly rounded chin, Ambrose could easily pass as a prissy male model. Annoyingly attractive if anything. Ambrose’s eyes are a brilliant cornflower blue that radiate nothing short of ever present amusement in his eyes. While his eyes convey every emotion he is capable of flipping through, the thinner set of arched brows that reign above are a little less expressive. The slightly concave nose he possesses actually adds a flare of beauty to his features as well. Ambrose’s voice is best described as resonant, and a voice capable of capturing both his ego and emotions in a fluidly smooth nature. He sports a bit of a paler skin tone, though he actually pulls it off rather well instead of looking sickly in any way. Like some males, Ambrose channels a lot of grooming into his hair, although it really doesn’t need too much effort. His dirty blonde locks sit in a lightly curled fashion on top while the sides are cut a little shorter. The longer tufts aren’t long enough to fall into his eyes, rather a few curly wisps curtaining his forehead, and it is easily long enough to run his hands through, and to be blown astray should he face gustier winds.
Holding himself at a shorter 5”10, it’s actually harder to tell Ambrose is shorter to some of his peers due to how well postured he is. It helps that he walks around as if he’s 6”5 as well. When it comes to build, Ambrose is akin to a more proportional rectangular figure. His shoulders aren’t exactly the broadest, but they square near evenly with his hips. While he’s no ‘hulking’ figure, he’s a fairly fit guy. Especially in terms of figure due to his obsession with soccer and laboring himself into an able bodied sprinter, so his legs and core possess the most toning to his build. There's an evident nimbleness to Ambrose’s build, but he packs a nice punch. And while not exactly a male capable of using brute strength to his advantage -at all-, well it doesn’t stop him from squaring his shoulders, puffing his chest, and engaging in confrontation.
Clothing wise, bring on the bad boy look! While most certainly being the reason pocket chains are banned in the facility (since he once used it as a tool of strangulation for someone who threw hands at him first), that doesn’t hinder Ambrose from rocking the same black, badass leather jacket he’s had since 10. It’s his baby, his pride and joy, and something he will kill over. Primarily graphic T-shirts, skinny jeans (too bad he can’t have fancy belts), and a singular silver ring he wears on his right ring finger is what he sports. Occasionally shorts, knee high socks, and a tank top. And rarely sweatpants and sweaters. Shoes? He’s been thrashing the same pair of black and red Nike’s for 3 years.
If one could explain Ambrose, there would be a few things that would come to mind. The most prominent aspect of his personality being his pride and arrogance. At all times, he is the most awesome person in any room. Always. The young male also enjoys sizing other people up -scientists and experiments-, and looking at them as if they’re worth no more than an ant. Though, compared to this narcissist, everyone else might as well be an ant compared to his thunderstorm of a personality. Easily he is one of the biggest narcissists one will ever meet. Self-love is something he is not in short supply of, and honestly he can’t help but to admire himself from time to time too. If anything, his reflection in the mirror is his best friend. Ambrose knows very well his appearance backs up his pride though, and he is not ashamed to let those around him know they will never look or be as amazing as he is.
Right, wrong, things such as ‘morality’ in general have no room in Ambrose’s life. He doesn’t care to be moral, since he very much dances to the beat of his own drum at all times. It certainly does not make him an easy person to be around considering he sees no issue in treating people like they’re lesser than him. Because they are lesser. Very few individuals are regarded as important to the narcissist, with his sister being one of those few people. Most days that is; other days he may contemplate pushing her off a rooftop. But he never would, so do you see? He’s such a great person. The best!
Anger is a common emotion one may see Ambrose demonstrating. 0-150 in 2.4 seconds kind of guy, with all emotions though with how flippant he is. Ambrose is fully capable of shifting through 20 different moods in under a minute. Surely that’s some kind of record. Maybe he’s a smidge crazy in that way, but never count on Ambrose being predictable. One of the biggest contributors to Ambrose’s general nature is his apathy and utter indifference. Sure, he has feelings, but he could honestly care less about most others’. Even his own feelings are so volatile he’s not even completely sure he wants to feel them. All things considered, he does work to be a little more considerate of the feelings of those closer to him. Addie in particular since they have a close bond, but Ambrose isn’t completely heartless either. The narcissist, should you win a place among his roster of liked individuals, is loyal to a damn fault. If one is worthy enough, the narcissist may even lay his life down. Ambrose’s affections are difficult to express, and often those in his better graces can hardly tell, but this diamond is just a bit rough around and the edges. He’s trying.
Vindictive and generally malicious characteristics are heavily associated with Ambrose as well. So while more often than not he’ll go face to face with anyone, special occasions require him to want to be a little more devious in his plotting. Wrong him? Run. And hide. Wrong his sister? Death to the one who crosses his sister, that’s his job! Wrong his friends? Meh, depends on how close he is to them. While Ambrose is naturally a more confrontational character, finding it highly entertaining to rile others up for his own sick pleasures, he won’t tolerate mistreatment of those close to him. And he will not tolerate being blatantly disrespected, though for fun, Ambrose may ignore or throw double edged insults at those how do disrespect him.
Overall, Ambrose is vastly flirtatious, and what’s more charming than someone who possesses practically no filter? Insensitive? Definitely. Inappropriate? Yep. Says things that make people question his sanity? All the time! One may never really know what’s going to come out of Ambrose’s opinionated mouth next, unless there’s an opportunity for a pun. Dark humored or not, he’s sure to make one. At least one can come to him for complete honesty, because oh boy will he give it to you. While he is someone who is vastly deceitful and a little bit of a pathological liar -not to mention a raging sadist- Ambrose is still blunt when it’s needed. Good news, bad news, or just news, he’s sure to deliver it. Forget drama Queen’s when it comes to Ambrose, he’s the entire royal family, and some. If he wants all eyes on him? Oh, he’ll get them. The man-child loves attention! Good or bad. When he’s really around people he likes though, the more dramatic and playful he is. All anyone needs to keep in mind about Ambrose is this; he is the epitome of an ultimate wild card.
Having his ego stroked
Being a showoff
Having fun; no matter where he finds it
Crying; he doesn’t cry, but seeing others cry makes him greatly uncomfortable
Children; they think they’re so great, being cute and shit… no one’s cuter than Ambrose! He’ll throw hands with a six year old who thinks they'd make a better unicorn tamer too! (Ambrose acts mentally seven, so his childish nature shouldn’t be too shocking)
Similar to his sister’s ability… but with light! Ambrose is the spotlight of any room, literally. Drawing both energy and power from sources of light, Ambrose can contain light itself to be used as a weapon. Or, you know, turn himself into a human flashlight. It takes a bit of charging, but in places where light is in little to no supply, Ambrose can conjure an “internal light” to fuel his ability. In some sense he’s like a solar panel, but he can absorb artificial light as well. The manipulation of light is tricky, considering one wrong move can seriously blind a person, but Ambrose has a good grip on his ability. To keep this in check, Ambrose has a small chip inserted at the base of his skull -size of a grain of rice- that will send a violent jolt of electricity through his nervous system should it sense a high usage of his ability to overwhelm his senses, and effectively frying his senses enough to make it impossible for him to wield light. Other uses of his ability include:
-Ambrose can look directly at the sun, no squinting required B)
-Light Shield; almost like a force field, but composed of light, and only fit to shield himself, and maybe stretching as far as 10 feet if he tries hard enough
-Frickin laser beams! Oh yeah, guess who can channel shooting light from their eyes like lasers… this guy
-Travel through light; similar to teleportation, but he can only travel from one space with light to another, and uh, not far. It’s not a pleasant experience either…
It’s not safe for a single soul to dare look Ambrose directly in the eye. Because eye contact is what fuels his ability to persuade individuals into doing as he says. ‘You should totally put that fork through your hand, try it, it’ll be fun’. Ambrose is never out to do kind things with this ability, and so the male wears contact lenses. Though thin, anything blocking him from making uninterrupted eye contact renders this ability useless. Even sunglasses would hinder it from being effective. Plus, it isn’t fun to be fishing for contact lenses in his eyes, and quite frankly he doesn’t want to use his ability that bad on anyone that he tries to poke around in his eyes either. During testing, usually it’s the scientists wearing contacts to handle him, while allowing him to remove his own. How else would they try out how effective his means of persuasion are?
