Elza is a taller girl, being around 6’0 and is more on the athletic side due to her inability to use her powers in an aggressive way. She stands tall and straight-backed and walks with an air of confidence to her, her style matches that and she is always dressed as best she can be considering the current conditions. Due to her heritage, Elza is on the darker side, from her skin to her dark curly hair which can usually be seen pulled back into a simple bun. It’s rare to see Elza without her hair in a bun due to its volume which she finds difficult to manage. Her eyes are a deep brown. Elza doesn’t have much scarring from the testing but her most prominent scar is a cut through her upper lip that gives her a slight sneer, despite this she presents outwardly as a very warm person. Elza can generally be seen wearing glasses, though her eyesight isn't bad and she can function just fine without them, she does however enjoy the look of them.

Personality:

Elza is a charming girl, she can sweet talk almost anyone and lies like she has a tongue made of silver. She could be cunning but could never be considered ruthless, her loyalty is strong and she would defend those she trusts with her life. She enjoys toying with the guards curbing her words just enough to (generally) avoid trouble. She uses her clever tongue to tease her peers but almost never means it with malicious intent. It’s rare to see Elza mad, she found out early on that anger leads to punishment. Elza adores the younger children and would do anything to make sure that they got out so they would never have to grow up in the way that she and the other young adults did.

-Shield:

Elza can block any mental powers that would affect her, mind control rarely ever works on her but she can still feel the full brunt of any other kind of power. She cannot spread this power to others no matter how hard she has tried and it is a passive power meaning she cannot turn it off nor can she attempt to boost it. Her power does have a weakness however, should she be exceptionally tired or injured beyond a certain extent they weaken exponentially and with minimal prodding, they cease to work. In order to regain control of her powers, she needs to rest or be healed to full health once again. Her powers can also be dulled by the use of drugs but due to her inability to use her powers actively, they don’t often need to drug her outside of testing.

-Mute:

Elza can “mute” the powers of her peers. Elza dislikes using this ability on others and when she was younger would often get in trouble for refusing to use it. When her power is used on another it feels a bit like you’re walking around underwater. Recently it has been discovered that she can use her power on regular people to Mute their senses, this is harder to use on other powered people though as first she has to completely shut off their powers in order to get to their senses. Unfocused she can hit anyone with a snap that lasts around a minute and only dulls their powers/senses to a point. If she is able to be close to her subject she can hold it for a longer amount of time and almost completely shut off their senses if they are a regular human and is able to just begin to tap into a powered person's senses. If she is able to retain touch with a person she can shut off their senses completely. Her power is often talked about as a possible torture method. She hates these powers some days. She is forced to wear a bracelet that --Ironically-- dulls her powers.

-Calm/Anger:

Elza is able to flick a switch on the emotional control of others and is able to either calm their emotions or send them into an anger-filled bloodlust. She has been used to calm her peers on numerous occasions since she has gotten these powers. She can only use it for a very short amount of time and if she uses it for an extended period of time her powers begin to fracture and she is rendered not only prone but also completely loses her shield leaving her senses into a tailspin where any stimulation, whether it be visual or auditory sends splitting pain through her head. Currently, her record is almost a minute, 53 seconds to be exact.
