[Name] Vasuki meaning: a king with the gem on his head [Age] 120 Years [Gender] Masculine [Class] Dark Class [Appearance] [super rough sketch by me. not free. do not steal or trace. i will find you.] Vasuki is massive. His height paired alone with his physique makes him an intimidating creature, standing at 16 feet. Vasuki's wings are perhaps the most impressive thing about him. They are much larger than his own body and often drape alongside of him. They are so large, he looks disproportional compared to his lithe and slick body. In total, they are around 20 feet long. Vasuki also has three tails. Not one, not two, but three. These three have spikes all down them as well as pointed blades at the end. However, they also make rattling sounds when shook a certain way, similar to a rattlesnake. He uses them to twist around his attackers. He also uses them to smack against the ground, confusing his opponents. In extreme cases, he uses it for suffocation. Like a snake. Vasuki's body resembles that of a cat and snake overall. It is thin and flexible, able to be twisted around. His chest is broad, but his stomach caves in and allows him to appear more lithe and skinny. Additionally, his body is long. Again, he's like a cat in terms of his movements and physique. It's best to keep that in mind, for even his movements are stealthy. In terms of his scales, his body is a dark, dark purple. So dark, it almost appears black, but in certain lighting, one may see the soft hint of purple among it. Not only that, but his scales appear iridescent in certain lighting, though it's isn't very bold nor blinding. His horns are slightly lighter than his body, and his underbelly is even lighter still. Overall, only three colours are found upon him. Dark purple, medium, and light. His eyes, however, are white and tend to glow. In terms of his horns, well, Vasuki is quite proud of them. Upon his head they sit like a crown, offering him protection when it comes to fighting and defending himself. However, one of his main horns on his left side broke due to an accident when younger. The scene left the right side of his face scarred in the process as well. As a result, he wears a dragon skull upon his head to cover his mangled face and to help him replace his broken horn. The scales never did grow back there, so he is extra sensitive beneath his mask. He also has spikes all down his back that end at his tail that retractable. His fire is a deep purple that transitions into a light one. Accessories or Armor: He wears a skull helmet of another dragon upon his head. This is perhaps his main form of armour. Additionally, he wears a bone necklace that often clatters around with every movement he makes. Vasuki has an obsession with bones. [Personality] Stoic - Honourable - Loyal - Selfless - Intimidating - Aggressive - Peaceful - Curious - Enjoys Collecting - Oddity - Leaderly Vasuki is a stoic individual that often comes across as intimidating due to his height and appearance. However, he is truly quite soft. One will quickly learn that he does not harm another unless conditioned that they're a threat. In other words, if you leave him and those he cares about alone, he will leave you alone, making him rather peaceful in a sense. He is known to even sit by a stranger if trusted that they won't make a move to harm him or others. Like most dragons though, the moment a threat is identified, he will switch instantly and act hostile and defensive. He is respectful and honourable and rather loyal to others surrounding him. The only time Vasuki may come off as rude is when strangers touch his belongings. He is known to collect odd trinket he encounters, mainly bones. If those he does not trust touches them, well, Vasuki grows agitated and will result to being aggressive. If patient, he is the type to offer a gift, but anybody rifling through his things instantly ends up being disliked unless he knows that they wouldn't steal it. Look, but do not touch. He is also a curious creature, always bulging his eyes at anything he finds remotely interesting. This makes him an oddity of sorts, for when he is intrigued, Vasuki acts odd and completely smitten by whatever trinket he encounters. He's an odd individual in general, always poking around and seeing what others are up to. Again, like a cat he acts when he's bored. Vasuki enjoys being independent and solitary, but even he grows lonely. When that happens, he tends to run off and find a companion to socialize with and bother. So, there is an immature side to him, though it will fade slightly the older he becomes. Vasuki is a cunning thing, mainly because he is very in tune to his instincts. He has a way of being able to know right from wrong, even if he's never been in that situation before. He always seems to understand how to get out of it and manages to come up with several plans. He is also a quick-thinker. The moment something goes wrong, he can dodge or solve it. Like any other dragon, however, even his patience runs thin. If somebody continues to bother him, he will result to physically and verbally harming them. He will often voice his concerns first, but if his request is ignored, then Vasuki cares little for the aftermath. Take boundaries for instance. If he tells another to step away from him and they do not listen, then prepare to be thrown. Overall, he is a good companion to have so long as there is mutual respect. [Rider] Vivienne [Ability] Smog Breath Able to emit noxious gas that is dark in color, Dark Dragons primarily use their ability for defense. It provides cover, the dark plume both physically hiding them as well as causing confusion within anyone trapped within the fog or inhales it too much (3+ breaths). The gas is fueled by a chemical reaction caused from stored minerals gain from mushrooms. When those stores are empty, they can't create it. The smog can also emit from glands beneath the wings and at the tip fo the tail. He uses his abilities more often than his horns and claws in fear that his helmet will fall off and he will be weakened. He also uses his flight and body often to attack against his enemies. Strengths: - His wings. Although large, Vasuki's wings offer him good protection and allow him to move swiftly through the air despite his size. That, and because his body isn't as heavy due to lack of muscle. He often uses them for warmth over anything else, as well as reflecting/shielding against attacks. - His body. While he has little muscle, Vasuki is tall and flexible, able to weave around and move swiftly and stealthily despite his size. He has his light body to thank for that. - His helmet/horns. It offers him extra protection when it comes to his head. He wears a crown of horns upon him, and the helmet helps aid him in attacks and when defending himself and others. - Courage/smarts. Vasuki learns quickly for a dragon and often finds himself to be rather cunning. He is known for his bravery and will jump headfirst to save his friends. While he has a lot to learn, he is by no means stupid. - Fighting. He's not too bad of a fighter. He has much to learn, but he isn't bad. He often practices his skills on Ryuu and Mira. Thus, he has a good amount of skills. Against Ryuu, he learns how to take down a tall and physically strong/powerful dragon, and with Mira, he learns how to defeat a smaller, swifter, more cunning dragon. Weaknesses: - His helmet - the moment it falls off, Vasuki grows anxious for he has skin and scarring exposed beneath it as well as a missing horn. The helmet offers him protection. Without it, he is weakened. - He isn't very strong. Vasuki is more stealthy, lean, and swift like a cat. That means he isn't as strong as other dragons. He's more of a serpent slithering around. While his chest is broad and muscular, it is nothing compared to others. - Missing horn. There is nothing more humiliating than breaking a horn. Sadly, Vasuki indeed has broken one of his main ones, often leaving him unbalanced if he does not wear his helmet. This severely throws him off guard. - Wings. Although large and a strength of his, they are also a weakness. They are so large that the poor guy trips over them daily until he grows into them. Likes: - Bones & Collecting - Vasuki loves collecting items. Any trinket he finds, he takes and stashes away. Rocks, gold, jewels, bones, anything. - Night - He's a dark class dragon, it makes sense he likes dark things. The night, however, he adores. - Light - Shiny, bright things intrigue him. He becomes in awe of anything bright and it draws him in. Dislikes: - Boundaries - Vasuki hates his personal space being infiltrated by strangers to the point where he'll swat and snap at them. - His Items being Touched - His trinkets are his own. If anybody touches them, he will get hostile. - His Helmet being Touched - He will become violent. Vasuki favours his helmet, as it protects him. If it is broken or touched, he will become aggressive. [Affiliations] Mira - These two go way back.. as in, over 50 years. They have helped one another through several struggles whilst managing to overcome them and pick each other up. This is Vasuki's most loved and trusted companion. She's his other half. The light to his darkness. He would do anything for Mira. Loyalty does not come in any other form. In short, Mira is Vasuki's soulmate. He broke his horn for her, and he'd break the other one just as quickly if it meant she'd be safe. |

[My Rider] --- ⌜ • ° + ° • ⌝ Roxanne Monroe ⌞ ° • + • ° ⌟ Age: 18 Gender: Female Appearance: [character belongs to me, art of her done by plasticbagz for a TH art trade. Do not steal nor trace.] Roxanne is a woman that stands at 5'11" with a lithe physique. She is tall for a female and certainly above average, and walks in a.. lazy manner of sorts. Not necessarily sloppy, yet not overly graceful either. At first glance, Roxanne gives off an intimidating aura. Her face sits in a frown, never a smile gracing her features. In fact, she's hardly readable at all. Regardless of how she's feeling, the woman always keeps a neutral expression. Try as you might, you won't be able to read her. Besides her height, the next most noticeable thing about her is a large scar cascading over her left eye. Nobody knows the true reason as to how she obtained it, for Roxanne speaks little regarding herself. However, it suits her. It's clear that she is by no means humiliated by it. Rather, she does little to cover it up. The female's skin is slightly tanned, though not overly so. She has a darker complexion, and her hair is a darker brown that sits at shoulder length. Roxanne's hair is wavy, but not to the point where it's considered curly. There is only slight volume to it, and is typically seen being worn down. Her entire body as a whole is rather slim with muscle predominantly on her arms and thighs. Her build is best suited for swiftness and remaining both stealthy and agile rather than delivering powerful blows. In terms of her facial features, she has a sharp jawline and large eyes that often observe people. Her eyes sit in a naturally judgmental way, as if she's plotting something against you. Her eyes are the same colour as her hair: brown, with long lashes. Her eyebrows, oddly enough, are darker than her hair, giving her a more unique look. Additionally, Roxanne's lips are rather large, and her nose is wide, though it somehow manages to compliment her. [Accessories] When it comes to accessories, Roxanne has several on her face alone. For one, she always carries a silver septum piercing upon her nose. Besides that singular one, she has approximately seven on her ears; three on her right ear, four on her left. Additionally, she carries around a dagger, simply for protection. One could never know when she needs to whip that bad boy out. [Attire] Roxanne's choice of attire is plain and simple, most typically neutral or dark colours. If one thing is clear, Roxanne does not like to stand out. [Voice] Roxanne's voice is slightly low and raspy. Not quiet, yet not overly loud, though it has the potential to increase in volume if she yells. For the most part, she speaks in monotone or in a nonchalant manner, as if she doesn't have a care in the world. It's almost lazy. Personality: [Reclusive - Reserved - Nonchalant - Unreadable - Observant - Bold - Blunt - Valiant - Audacious - Intelligent - Intimidating - Stoic - Mysterious - Leaderly] Roxanne is a female that is a true complexity to understand. One would never be able to know what she is thinking nor feeling. She keeps it all hidden to the point where she mainly keeps a straight face wherever she ventures off to. Completely unreadable, one could try unmasking her and fail. She does not smile, does not laugh, does not show any emotion, even if a situation is extremely dangerous. She is reclusive and reserved, not often speaking about herself nor giving off any information to do with her life or personality. Roxanne is a completely closed book that cannot be opened. Even towards any she considers friends, they will not know everything about her. She keeps her life subtle and to herself. Often acting nonchalant and lazy, Roxanne seems to have a very uncaring attitude. If something drastic happens, she's the type to shrug it off and saunter off as if nothing happened. It isn't as if she can't feel emotions. She can, simply doesn't express them. Perhaps there are few moments where one can catch a glimpse of her smiling, though such sights are very rare. She is very observant, able to watch others and learn about them. After all, she's one to sit on the sidelines without being noticed. Observing simply comes easy to her. She is also intimidating. She doesn't give off anything about herself, thus, nobody knows much about her. Her height, scar, and facial expression certainly don't help her case with meeting new people. Again, she isn't antisocial, simply doesn't care. Roxanne has a lot of potential to make friends, she simply doesn't care enough to actually do it. She has the personality that, if you leave her alone, she will leave you alone. However, like others, she doesn't let others step all over her. She will be blunt and bold with another if they insult her, not one to simply brush it off. In fact, she can be fairly bold, and feisty as well so much as another crosses her. Leave her alone, and she'll leave you alone. If not, well, Roxanne does enjoy games and can be petty if she has to be. In other words, she doesn't let others disrespect her or talk down to her and will put another in their place no matter what she has to do. Roxanne does speak. Simply because she's reserved about herself doesn't mean she's introverted. She will bring up her own opinions and insert her ideas into things. After all, she is determined and can be audacious. She's the type to take bold risks, which may come as a surprise to many, for she's usually calculating in such that she prefers thinking things through. She usually plays it safe, though will take risks if it ensures her survival. She may also be feisty depending on the situation, and uses both verbal and physical advantages to win in different occasions. Selfless, Roxanne, if takes a liking to you, will do her best to watch out for you. She isn't the type to leave another behind. Even if she despises another, she would offer a helping hand. Though one thing is certain, she does not give out second chances. Cross her once, and she will never help you again nor accept an apology. Roxanne takes trust seriously. If it is broken, another could beg for her forgiveness and she will ignore them. She is unsympathetic when it comes to that. In short, she's an oddity that is reserved, yet truly bold and intimidating if another speaks down to her or others. She would be a good friend, but don't expect her to share much about herself or joke around. They were similar in age and seemed to click. The two were good friends, often getting into trouble together or roughhousing. However, there were times where they were more mellow and often enjoyed playing chess (Roxanne would ask Hart to tell her strategies in hopes of beating Mircea). If not chess, then cards, marbles, or other games. They were also found exploring. They probably knew the entire area because of how much they wandered around. Too bad she had to leave him behind. Hartley Russell Barn - Childhood Friend - Hart and Roxanne also grew up together. Actually, Hart and Mircea are cousins, so it was no wonder she was friends with both of them. However, with Hart, she had a calmer relationship. They two often ventured off in the forest together, where Hart would read and Roxanne would look around or join him. It was he who had gotten her interested in science facts and books, and he who had also (unintentionally), helped her improve her reading and writing. She also gained a basic knowledge of plants, since he used to point out different ones as they walked through the woods. Like Mircea, she had to leave him behind. [Background] Roxanne lived in the south with her parents and sister. It was a simple family. Her father, Alaric, was a tall, broad, and loud man, typically seen doing labour work. He was a builder. Not a specific one either. The man could build anything from houses, to boats, to tiny toys. He was a very handy man. His wife, Roxanne's mother, was named Colette. Now, Colette was handy in her own way, always seen baking or gardening. She typically stayed at home and minded the house. For the most part, Roxanne was an independent child, but often found curiosity in both of her parents to the point where she and her younger sister, Florence, would pester them at times. She had learned a few things from them, but nothing academic-wise. Both of her parents weren't very literate, her mother moreso than her father. It was her father that was able to read and write, and he would take the time to read her and Florence books, specifically, poetry. He was't too good, but he was good enough. From him, she learned the basics. When Roxanne wasn't with them, she was busy exploring. Especially the woods. She was a tall and awkward child that always had scrapes and bruises on her because of how active she was. She was a tomboy of sorts, always wearing clothing made for boys and running around. She had a knack for getting into trouble or injuring herself. After all, Roxanne would spend all of her free time outside, specifically, with her neighbours. Mircea and Hart. She had met them when she was 11 and had spent a total of three years with them. With Mircea, she would be active and competitive, the two often getting into trouble and roughhousing. With Hart, she would be calmer, often tagging along with him and venturing into the forest where he would read, and she would wander around. It was speaking to Hart that had improved her reading and writing skills. When he read his books, she would always ask about what he learned and often ask for book recommendations. However, when she was 14, she had to leave when a fire struck her house. She had awoken sweating, coughing, and confused. She had known that something was wrong, but she had underestimated the situation. It was only when she opened her bedroom door and was met with flames did the panic settle in. Unknowing what to do, she thought of jumping out her window, but before she could, her door flung open. Without a word, her father entered with a rag at his mouth, scooped her up, and sprinted out the door. The two had made it out safely, but Roxanne's mother and sister were still inside. No matter how much she cried and screamed, her father went back inside for them. Everything would have worked out, had the house not collapsed on them. Days later, she was sent away to distant relatives. A great aunt on her father's side. As a result, her accent had faded, as did her personality. She had become quieter and more serious. What pained her the most is that she wasn't able to say goodbye to her friends nor anybody she knew. With her great aunt she grew up and learned how to be an entirely different person, only to return to her hometown years later because of a family business trip (her great aunt was richer and was looking to invest in land). She didn't want to return, but was forced to tag along. |

╓═══════♆═══════╖ Brontes Greek origins, meaning “Thunder” ╙═══════ ≈ ═══════╜ Age: 250 years Gender: Male Class: Water class Appearance: The image was drawn by the lovely Tenebris Umbra. Don't steal/trace/copy, the character is mine but the design modifications and drawing was done by Tene <3 
Brontes is a male with impressive height for his class. Standing at the tallest he can get, roughly 12 feet at the shoulder. His build is leaner, and slightly muscular, making him almost lanky looking. Brontes is built for endurance and stamina, he can keep quite a good pace for a long time in the water, with his strong swimming skills. It also helps that his feet are webbed, it’s a leathery material that connects his “toes”. Dragons have many varieties of scales. Except this dragon doesn't really have any, but instead, a thick, leathery skin, and has a pattern similar to a crocodile, though smoother. The color ranges from dark blues to light blues, helping him blend in with his surroundings underwater. The main color of this dragon is a dark blue, which takes up his entire back, top of his legs, top of his tail, and neck. His frill is the lightest variation of Blue he has besides his eyes. The frill is similar to that of a frilled lizard, as well as the webbing in his feet. His frill looks more similar to scales but still has the leathery texture that the rest of him has. This frill is semi-circular and is underneath his mouth, and on the side of his face. Instead of the edges being round like the Frilled lizard, the shape is shaped similar to a “W” and continues in that pattern around the whole edge of the frill, every other point having a small ivory claw at the end. The length of his frill is nearly one foot long, and the skin around it is thin. He can tuck it against the side of his face, almost making it seem as if it isn’t there, it only comes out as a display of dominance to make him seem larger, or if he is tense or stressed. This male does have horns, but instead of sticking straight up they are more laid back, Brontes has four in total. Two on his forehead that runs straight back with a slight curve, the tip bending downward. Then one on either side of those two, with the tips curved upward slightly. They are the same blue as his chest, described below. This dragon's head is slender and thinner. The rest of his features are more suitable for quick swimming underwater. He has a spiked fin underneath his jaw, as well on the back of his neck, and a longer tail. His legs can tuck neatly under him as he glides through the water, and are powerful, allowing him to speed through the water. The other markings on this dragon include lighter blue/grey spots along his neck and face. The color on his entire underside goes from the middle of his chest downwards and is more of a dark teal variation. Brontes’s eyes are a bright blue and have a marking the same color directly above his eye. When his eyes are closed it gives the illusion that his eyes are above, so in a sudden attack one would miss his actual eyes. His wings are small and used to help aid him in swimming and gliding, though they still look proportionate to his body. He can try and flap them enough to get him off the ground, but he never is in the air for more than a second or two, his weight and small wings are not a flying combination. True flight is never accomplished. Armor: As for Armor, Brontes can be found sporting sharpened silver caps over his horns. They are made of strong metal and extend an extra inch or two. He does like to use his horns in battle, so the extra sharp tips come in handy. he has a similar spike on the end of his tail, though it has smaller barbs on it meant to snag and catch the opponent. While this may not seem like much, his thicker skin/scales also act as a natural "shield" or barrier. Personality: Grumpy || Territorial || Disdainful at Times || Intelligent || Resourceful || Communication A+ || Verbal & Physical || Cool || Calm || Collected || Snappy at times || Disaplined || Somewhat patient || Strong bond || Independent || Slight temper || Somewhat strict || Sarcastic Brontes is a calm dragon, yes he can be a bit grumpy towards the rest of his species but never truly out of anger towards them. He can and will rage if his rider is harmed by someone, whether it's an accident or not. This can consist of a blast from what he calls his "water breath", a stern reprimanding, or he can take it to a whole other level. A feeling of guilt does come from seeing his rider hurt, thinking he could have done more to protect them even if it wasn't his fault. Brontes is also quite the territorial creature, it's part of his nature and he considers his Rider his territory. Hence the guilt if someone happens to them. If they are harmed he has let down his guard. Touch them or think about touching them and you will earn a stone-cold stare. Being territorial also applies to his personal space, he tends to be grumpy because he hates to be so close to people, however, his rider is a major exception and he prefers to be around them. Dragons are slightly different, he does prefer their company to other humans but sometimes finds them too much. His personal space is considered his territory as well, so if it's invaded or you're too close he'll let you know. He is good with communication like that. While he is good with communication if he starts to get frustrated he may begin to lack in that aspect a little bit. This male is normally in a somewhat grumpy mood, however, this has only been due to recent events. With the Academy going under attack, his mood has shifted. This has amped up how territorial and protective he normally is. This has also affected whatever feelings he has towards the new riders and their dragons. Begining to grow more protective over them due to the traumatic recent events. He feels the need to watch over them more and keep tabs on them. Though this has led to him putting a little more pressure on the dragons, due to being able to communicate with them his goal is to help them focus so that their rider has a smoother time learning to ride. The stress and pressure of this situation have forced him to be more verbal, as well as physical. Verbal in the sense that he speaks up more to guide his dragons better, and physical in the sense that he will give more of a demonstration when explaining it all. He is a collected figure, however, he still has his days. Brontes may be more grumpy or impatient, seemingly fighting the calmer nature a water class dragon has. This dragon is cool in battle, he has a strong stomach and can handle the sight of destruction and carnage in battle. Of course, he has seen some of the carnage left behind from the initial attack the Academy received, so that experience has made him somewhat ready for whatever he will face next, so a bad reaction will not be expected of him. Due to his experiences, Brontes is a pretty resourceful dragon and is ready to help pass on his skills to the new Dragons and their riders. He can be a bit strict at times you won't see an overly snappy or impatient teacher. He believes the Dragons and their riders must learn discipline, during a battle they must not get distracted and their moves should be fluent and coordinated. Dragon and ride must work correctly as a team. While he still is considered a young adult, he is as old as the oldest trainee and does have years of experience and training time on them. He won't tolerate disrespect. This dragon is very intelligent for his species, and though he cannot directly communicate with riders other than his own, he has learned about body language and how the frequency of their voice means specific emotions. From this, he can express what he needs to the rider's dragon in order to better understand the situation. [ I am a little unsure of the extent of communication a dragon might have with a human who is not their rider, so this is subject to change. ] He was able to obtain this skill through years of being exposed to humans and riders. Brontes is a patient male and is able to pick up on a technique with much more ease due to his experience and understanding. He realizes that the newer rides won't have this skill right away and is willing to wait a little longer for them to attain it. If he notices a pair in particular struggling he will intervene. His wisdom, skill, and size, may also lead to some disdainment towards humans. Especially due to dragons wielding a greater amount of power compared to them, and a rider who is not willing to work with their dragon will cause this aspect of him to rise more. Though his bond with his Rider will help him overcome this feeling shortly after. As mentioned before, Brontes enjoys his space, as well as some independence. Though he does find it nice to occasionally have some small talk outside of training. He is more open to those of his class, though he is more willing to talk, and rather likes it when he is approached with questions that will better a dragons riding with their rider. He also enjoys the company of some of the older dragons in the group. His speech is mostly clear and to the point, though he may have a few sarcastic remarks. Concerning a serious topic you won't have to deal with sarcasm, he will be straight and to the point. Rider: The Squad Leader Ability: Rather than breathing fire, these dragons are able to "breathe" streams of boiling water at others. They, like fire dragons, can adjust the temperature of the water. They must be hydrated to use. Lack of Hydration = Lack of Water. Usage does dehydrate. His abilities are used in combination with his horns and other fighting abilities, though he tries to only use them when necessary. Strengths & Weaknesses: -Water, is both a strength and a weakness in this case. This dragon needs to stay hydrated to function properly, and using its water blast will dehydrate them. But being in a habitat where water is plentiful, they can use it to their advantage. Their water blasts will dehydrate them, but if they were in a source of water, it could keep them going for a longer period of time since they could rehydrate quickly. -Size, is definitely one of his strengths. Being lean and muscular, almost lanky, his build is more for endurance and stamina. Brontes can keep swimming for a long period of time. -Swimming, is another one of his strengths. His webbed feet are definitely an asset when it comes to it, and since his habitat is in the water, he has grown to be an amazing swimmer. -Flying and Heat, this male can hardly fly, his class does more of a glide and are more water-bound than some of the other dragons. Heat also greatly affects him, as his skin is sensitive to it. Both of these make it hard to keep up on land with other dragons. -Heights, something he cannot attain easily, since he cannot fly. Though maybe climbing is a thing? It is also somewhat of a fear, Brontes rather spend time in the depths of in ocean than thousands of feet in the air. He likes to have his feet in the water thank you very much.
Likes -Water, and food, the water is cooling and calming to be in, and being a water dragon his hunting skills peak underwater, due to his food source being all around him. -Nighttime, everything is calm, peaceful, and quiet. It is this dragon's favorite time to relax, stars fascinate this creature. Don’t disturb him during his sacred time or he’ll eat you :’) -Space, being territorial, Brontes does like to be separated on his own claim of the water/land at times. He is also picky about how close you might stand next to him, he likes his little bubble of personal space. He doesn't care if his rider "invades it" Dislikes: -Fire dragons, Brontes generally dislikes the fire dragons due to them having some sort of power over him since they can dry him out and leave him defenseless. He won't have an issue with them unless they mess with him. -Any type of heat, he rather freeze than be anywhere near a source of heat. If anyone steals this I am coming for your kneecaps ☺ This young dragonet is quite a lovely sight. Her scales have a certain rough, yet gentle feel about them. She stands at a sturdy 11 feet in height. Her face is very dignified, with sharp cheekbones and an almost snake-like appearance. Her face can be described as more of a diamond-shaped. Her muzzle is midlength and slender, and it can sort of remind one of a crocodile. Her fangs within her mouth are quite large and are sharp and pointed. Her teeth are perfect for biting or harming someone, or if she choses to bear them, scare them off as well. The tip of her muzzle has a beaked tip. Her eyes are very cat-like in appearance, but they can also be described as reptilian as well. Her eyes are a burnt orange that almost seems to glow with slight tinges of red around her black-slited pupil. Now this female's base color is of midnight black. These scales being dark and lovely. However along her body she scales in almost stripe-like marking on her sides with different shades of orange. These shades being honey, amber, and rust orange. Along her chest down from her throat are scarlet red scales. They almost have a glow about them it can be a warm and friendly glow or one angry and a warning that she'll spew fire at you. Along the spines of her back you can see the colorful spikes, they being a mixture of oranges and reds. When it comes to natural defense this female has an assortment of spikes and other defense mechanisms. Along her back are a mixture of medium and tall spikes that are sharp and pointed. Easy to get a finger or scale pricked on. However she can flatten these spikes for safety if need be. Adorning her head are two horns, they are long and corkscrew in shape like that of a Greater Kudu antelope. The horns are oily black in color, with slight specks of marigold orange and cherry red at the tips. Her talons are like that of an eagle, being thick and sharp and curved. Her tail is very thick and flexible, very powerful with spikes lining it with the fashion of a Kentrosaurus. Twin spikes being long and thin, yet pointed lining down the tail until it comes to the tip where two just sprout on in a parallel fashion. These spikes are bloody red in color. This female's body if very muscular and athletic in appearance. Though you may not be able to see it due to her scales, her build gives it away. You can see the power in her body whenever she moves. Her legs are long and sturdy with each one coming down to five digit feet/toes that has menacing talons at the end which are obsidian in color and have a certain sheen to them. Her wings are nice sized, and not necessarily large, but they are of a notible size. They appear membranous, like that of a bat, however they are protected by small spikes lining the wing bone, and then large hook like bones that sprout out at the tips and fold endings of her wings. Her scent can be described as a mixure of fragrant flowers like roses, lavander, and petunias with an underlying hot and smoky scent. Almost reminding one of a burnt meadow. Personality: This female is quite the unfriendly looking individual. If you just look at her you'd be warded off by her steely gaze. Or the way she walks with a defined elegance in her step. Not to mention whenever you try to approach her she seems irritated or unimpressed by you. Sometimes you can be met with a blank, icy glare. It's really hard to tell her emotions from just how she looks at times, but sometimes it's quite evident. One would make the assumption shes dull-witted because she'll stare at you blankly, or she's uppity or a snob due to the way she carries herself, and maybe even boring. Once you get past the prickly exterior (if one ever manages to do it.) You'll find out may suprising things about her. She's quite intelligent and a deep-thinker. And that she actually enjoys companionship, you just have to catch on to her mood/work your way into her friendship/aquaitenceship zone. If you come up to her chatty and she wants to sit in silence then she'll just up and leave. It's not that she doesn't enjoy company, she just wants something quiet and calm for a while before she gets to know you. If you even manage to get a conversation out of her and you're not her friend then you're going places. You'll find she's highly observant of others. She notices the small, miniscule details of things. And can recall details that you said months, even years ago. This can be good and bad in a way as she can use it in arguments against you if you peeve her enough. This female is quite wise for her age, and she's also very shrewd. She is very astute; able to accuratley access a situation and use it to her advantage. She's also quick to understand cryptic messages or ones with eloquent and flowery speech. Not to mention she has a clear-head and thinks before rushing into things. She enjoys listening to older and more mature dragonesses and learn from their wisdom. Sometimes she seems like an old soul in a young body. This female has a refined manner about her; she isn't one to just flop down, she's one to elegantly lie down. She doesn't walk with bulky or overly-loud steps; but one of softer and fainty ones. And she keeps her posture erect and taut as if she's always being watched by somone. You can tell these characteristics came from a very classy, and proper influence in her life. While her words at times don't match her behavior, they sometimes do. As she can be refined in speech, she can also switch to callous words. This female has her days when she's more ill-tempered than others. And you can tell by her gloomy actions and words. She'll also be more droll on these days; being unitentionally humorous. Yet her sarcasm and witty responses will be more vicious than usual as well. She'll also be more sulky and uncooperative with those she doesn't like. And it's almost something or someone who has put her in this mood as she doesn't have isn't always like this. Other times she'll be pugnacious at times, because life needs a little spice, but this is uncommon, yet not rare. When you have caught the bad side of this female, either by insulting her or offending someone she cares about she'll be out for blood. Her words will be fiery in tone and laced in venom. While her expression will be blank, and icy with an underlying smugness. This female is very opinionated even if she doesn't show it. While she doesn't particularly enjoy pointless small talk, she'll easily tell you her opinion/thoughts on someone. She's also stern & blunt in her manner of speech; if she doesn't like you, she'll tell you: "Go away, I don't like you" or "Your prescense here is unwelcomed." . If your annoying or boring her, she'll roll her eyes dramatically saying: "GOD, why are you pestering me? Go annoy or bore someone else." And if you are being stupid she'll say, "Why am I surrounded by imbeciles, no, why are you so idiotic?" She's accepted that there will be times when she'll be forced to apologise for her blunt delivery despite the fact that she don’t think she should have to. For this very reason, Jahzara has developed an apology that works for such an occasion. Something like: ‘I’m sorry my opinion made you feel that way…’ or ' I'm sorry you're so thin-skinned and can't take criticism.' She doesn't trust others a lot. Did she always appear to be unfeeling and cold, no. Others took advantage of her kindness and compassion, so swore to lock that portion of her away, because she never wants to be used again by others. However, once in a while you can see a glint of kindness and compassion in her eyes, but it's very rare to see or witness. She's firm, and almost kind with those she trusts and know can't handle her brashness [particularly baby dragons. And she can even be gentle and almost goofy with them.] This female is very dependable; once you have her in your corner she'll always be there (unless you break her trust.) Name: Mircea Cryolar Age: 17 Gender: Male Sexual Orientation: He is interested in men. Appearance: This Art is credited to the lovely, Tenebris Umbra. I will steal your soul if you steal my babie's art 🙂 On first inspection of this young person the first this you notice is his stature. He is of average height for a man, being 5'7 (170cm) and will probably end up being 5'9 (173) when he's done growing - he still gets teased about his height. That's probably why he prefers to wear shoes with a little heel to them to make him taller. And he hates being used as an arm rest for someone else. The next thing you would notice is his build - this young man weighs around 134lbs on a good day so he's rather light on his feet. This man has well sculpted calf muscles and healthy thighs to go with them - you can tell he puts his cardio it. He has muscles in his arm due to training with rock climbing and other physical outside sports. Hos hard work is shown through his defined collarbone and shoulders. He has a few beauty marks on his shoulder as well. His body is a combination of agility and an appropriate amount of strength - he has the ability to be nimble and fast on his feet due to his lighter body and training. While he is is rather good physical combat, he won't be as strong as someone bigger than him yet he will put up one hell of a fight and he will do down swinging. Also because his mother wanted him to use himself to his fullest he found himself to be quite flexible - able to do splits, somersaults , and able to do flips. This lead to (much to his mother'a shock) him jumping off buildings sometimes. His face can be described as a sharp and angular, with high cheekbones that give him a dignified air about him. His eyes are sharply shaped and always seem to have either annoyed or apathetic appearance. The color of his eyes are quite stunning, being an amber color : Not quite dark enough to be brown, nor light enough to be yellow. His eyes is a lovely mixture of yellow-brown with a golden hue to it. They are framed by long and dark lashes, which adds even more to his beauty. And in the corner under his right eye he has a beauty mark. His lips can de described as full with his upper lip being a darker reddish-brown and the bottom one a softer shade of pink. He has two piercings on each of his ears where he likes to wear earrings along with a nose piercing. He has a rather large nose bridge with a big button nose. If you notice his expressions you see his nose crinkle in disgust or annoyance at times it's quite interesting to see. His face hardly ever gets acne due to it not being so oily, but he does get it when he has eaten too much sugar - and also because he makes sure to take good care of skin. He has dark inky black hair that is quite long , it currently is hip-length and close to being waist-length hair. His hair is very coily and healthy, it's a pain to take care of his hair at times but he makes sure to do his very best to take care of it. He likes to do different styles with it including ponytails, braids, buns, and other updo hairstyles. However as of late he keeps his hair straight so it's easier to manage due to his future occupation. Another thing is he likes to decorate his hair with jeweled hairpins and other pretty trinkets to make it even more pretty. This male does not like anyone touching his tresses and you can expect to get slapped if you touch his hair without permission. His hair matches his skin tone quite nicely - he can be described as having a mixture of a medium bronze and sienna skin with red undertone. It's due to his time outside along with it being his natural skin tone, in summer and spring he appears darker in tone but in fall and winter he seems more pale and how to say more bright looking. His skin is rather smooth albeit the some of pads of his fingers are a bit rough due to pricking them from sewing and other activities. A few other things to note about him is that he is very androgynous appearing. Having more masculine features like the sharpness to his face and deeper brown bones yet also having traditionally "feminine" features with his hair being longer, fuller lips, and a rather appealing waist and body shape. From being the first thing you'd notice would be the long hair and waist and curvature of his hips and other assets from behind. So you'd probably thing - oh it's a woman wearing pants. But then he turns around you see the face and chest you realize he may be male but then again the jewelry he'll be wearing will make you question again. There are few things that make him feel more vulnerable than having people snooping into his life. When he feels under attack in this way, he will go to great lengths to protect his personal boundaries. Nosy people and intrusive questions are intolerable to him but, by the same token, he will never pry into other people’s business either. He has certain elements of his life that he may be willing to share with others but a whole lot more that he prefers to keep private. Her shoe size is more normal, ending up around a size 8.5. Vivienne doesn't have any large birthmarks, her only noticeable one is a small brown mark on the bottom of her pinky toe, on her right foot. She does have a couple of small moles across her arms, shoulder blades, and neck, but none out of the ordinary. Her skin rarely burns and as a result, she has a tan, it's just slightly beyond sun-kissed from the amount of time she spends outside, and will only get a little darker than that by the end of summer. This female's body type is less curvey and more triangular-shaped. She has slightly wider hips and a shoulder width that almost matches that, though is just smaller. She has a flat stomach and a slightly muscular build, though she is thinner than she is muscular. Vivienne has blue eyes, almost a sky blue color, and is quite stunning. a slightly darker blue rims her pupil and outer eye, while small pale blue flecks surround her pupil. Slightly darker shades of blue fill in the rest of her eyes, and they have an almond shape. Her orbs are framed by dark brown lashes, so she has no need for any makeup, not that she wears it anyway. Her eyebrows just a little ways above her eyes are thin and dark. They have an “oval” shape, with a very slight arch. This female's nose is considered to be celestial. Viv is also even-tempered and isn't riled easily so it makes communication much less stressful. She is a patient rider and is willing to work as long as it takes to get to the point where she can return to help restore the Kingdom. Trust is something that is earned. Vivianne's may be a little harder to get at this point in her life, but if you trust her it may come a little easier. She is good at keeping secrets, tell her one and she isn't the type to go around sharing it. She is also quite dependable, you can count on her to show up, be accountable and commit to something. She does like to be on time as well, even early to any sort of meeting or training session. It stresses her out if she is late and she hates to rush important things. This gal isn't usually the type to hold grudges. She's more forgiving, though it may take more if you harm her dragon or friends. Viv is also open-minded, she can take criticism and likes to hear others' thoughts on the subject. While she can be a little opinionated at times she tends to keep it to herself, or if she gets frustrated her dragon will be the first to know. Vivienne can be described as composed. She doesn't get flustered easily and knows how to keep her cool in various situations. This gal isn't one to run off at the sight of danger, she rather help deal with it, she has a fearless side that tends to make more of an appearance in high adrenaline situations. Dragon: Vasuki, unless the pairings are randomized <3 Strengths: -Height and weight, her taller height allows her to have better reach, compared to a shorter person. Her being on the thin side allows less pressure on her dragon's back, which can help with flying speed since they aren't being weighed down. -Balance & Agility, a good skill to have if flying -Quick, in learning and thinking, which helps her catch onto riding better -Combat, in some forms she knows the basics and can defend herself if it comes to it Weaknesses: -Lack of physical strength, her core is unfortunately on the weaker side, she is trying to work on it -Apophysitis in the hips, basically if she overuses/overworks the muscles in his hips, she becomes sore for a longer period of time and may feel pain if it gets bad. It has to deal with her growing, so it shouldn't last much longer -Her inexperience, as much as she hates to admit it, she doesn't have enough experience as a Rider yet -Selfless, she feels for others and this could be a strength or weakness. She won't leave a friend behind and could risk her life to get them back Likes: -Being outdoors, she feels less claustrophobic and it’s calming -Dragons, of course, her free time will always be spent with them -People, she has a small circle of friends, though is starting to go out of her way to be more social -Rain, it’s cooling and peaceful to watch. -The colors grey, blue, and purple Dislikes: -Being separated from her dragon and the group, whether for a short or long period of time -Being underestimated, she made it to the Academy and survived this long for a reason, she isn't here to goof around -Large amounts of heat and humidity, she likes warm weather, just not being scorched. -Physical touch, she prefers to keep her hands to herself, and for others to do the same.
