This mare has more of an average stature, standing at 15.1 hh tall. Her build is a bit weaker, she is built more for speed and has more power in her long legs than anywhere else. Selene’s coat is just slightly longer than most and is quite an interesting color. This mare is a blue roan paint, the majority being that blue roan. Her main markings are a large white one on her neck, a white blaze, a white sock on her front right hoof, a high sock on her back left hoof, and a white stocking on her front left leg.

The eyes of this mare are nothing special. They are a dark brown color and can almost appear to be black. In the light, it helps to see the depth of her eyes, with the intricate dark browns that make up her large orbs. Blue roan is the color around both of her eyes, and black long lashes frame them. Onto her mane, it is of shorter length and interesting coloration. The top is more of a dark grey, while the bottom half is white. Her tail is long and sweeps the tips of the grass, the color is dark grey, with a light grey base.

Personality:

This mare doesn’t care to be disrespected, she won’t take kindly to the harsh words from a younger horse, especially one she raised. Two years back she had a foal, she was just 4 years old when she had Asteria and as a new mother, she didn’t know how to properly parent yet. Now she was a great caring mother for her foals' first vital weeks/months, then she started to unintentionally neglect her. Forgetting to check up on her, spend time with her, or make sure she was staying safe.

It was a temporary lapse in judgment and she was able to bounce back and be an involved mother again, but only for a short amount of time. Selene eventually fell out with her daughter. She had been too busy to take the time to try to properly raise Asteria in her first year of life and the little words they shared would turn into an argument. When they would fight she would lash out with just as much venom in her words while keeping her tone light and volume at a normal level. When she argues with her daughter, sarcasm drips from her words and her eyes turn fiery. She hates her, and at this point in time, it’s almost unexplainable why she does.

Now she has a new foal, one she is not going to mess up, a little precious colt who she has been caring for since she birthed him a few months ago. This mare is now a kind, motherly figure, she is quite protective of her young, and is very involved in raising them. *Asteria scoffs* Selene will do all she can to make sure they are raised right and not lead astray. This mother can be a bit strict, but she believes it’s for the good of her foals. She will allow them to play and explore with the other foals, and won’t be too overbearing. Now don’t get me wrong, she is protective of them and would lay down her life to save her foals. But she has the sense to also give them a little independence so that they can develop their own personalities.

Selene is a social mare and is not one to try and pull information out of you. She is patient and will let you share what you want to share in your own time. She is not pushy and knows if she needs to back off in certain situations. This mare is very opinionated but will keep it to herself unless asked, or if she is in an argument. Which doesn’t happen often, since she has a very little temper, though the one horse that riles her up quickly is her own daughter.

This sturdy foal is growing quickly, as of now his legs seem a little long for him and he hasn't started to fill it yet, but he will grow to a promising height of just over 17 hh tall. His father was quite the stallion, standing around 18 hh and Anu wishes to grow just as tall as him. As of now he is speed over strength, his long legs allowing him to cover ground quickly for short bursts at a time, but as he grows that will switch to strength, He will be a strong stallion, one definitely(in his opinion) worthy of Parsia’s heart.

Anubis takes after his father's coloring as well, being a black and white paint. Though he is more black than white. His coat is more fluffy right now but will smooth down and become more sleek and smooth to the touch as he ages. He doesn’t have any scars either, and one would be concerned if a creature this young did have any.

His tail is a funny thing. It’s short and a little stubby, and very fluffy looking. It’s just as soft if you were to run a hand through it, and looks stick straight. Its color is white, and it only takes on a slight yellowish hue at the tips. As he grows, his tail will eventually be long enough to sweep the tops of the grass. Onto his mane, which is quite similar in coloring. The top half of it is white, and then the bottom half is black. His mane appears to be more of a medium length, as has started to grow in quite well, it will end up pretty long.

Finally his eyes, a shocking blue color. It has quite the contrast compared to his coat. His eye is rimmed with a darker blue, and in the light, you can see the depth they hold, with the different intricate shades of light blue surrounding his round black pupil. His eyes could be considered stunning, with those long dark lashes framing them.

Personality:

Personality is “I love Parsia”

To put it shortly, Anubis adores Parsia. He craves her attention, though she has a bit of a distaste for him so it’s hard to get it. This colt always wants to hang out or play with her, after all, she is the only other foal in the herd as of now. He also has a bit of a foal crush on her, which he thinks is secrete though it’s quite obvious how he feels. At this point his “love” has made him “immune” to her bluntness, if she shots him down, Anubis comes right back, never thinking less of her or taking her words to heart. In fact, this foal is more stubborn and persistent, even though she may hate him, he still wants to be friends. This foal even takes it as far as to sneak away from his mother to attempt to spend time with her. As Anubis grows and matures, one thing will stay the same about him. His feelings for the pretty buckskin mare, he would follow her to the ends of the earth and continue to pursue her until she agrees or takes a different mare.

This foal looks up to many horses, including his only full-sibling Asteria. He loves her and is quite affectionate with the young herd mare, trying his best to be humorous or come up with funny jokes. All-white standing at her side, as close as he can be while looking up at her with those big foal eyes. He also is a bit adventurous and of course curious, constantly sneaking off to try and meet her. I’m short, he is a sneaky guy. Another horse is he likes is Luther, just because he is cool. And he is his big sis’s best friend so that automatically makes them friends. Right? Well, at least in this foals mind. He will sometimes end up wandering over towards this young stallion, just to say hi. Anubis wants a friendship like Luther and Asteria, he looks up to both of them, and they influence him whether they mean too or not, especially Asteria. The last horse he looks up to is his dad, quite literally since he is so tall. Anubis would sneak away from his mother to see him, but wouldn’t want to upset his dad by leaving his mom alone without telling her where he was going. Though occasionally he will work up the nerve to do it. Though he does become a little shy in the presence of the large stallion.

Since he is so sneaky, you would think he would be in danger of leaving the herd. Anubis is smart enough to stay within the herd, partially because that’s what he is told, and partially because he is afraid of what’s out there. Though that doesn’t stop him from running around the herd, proving unintentionally that however watchful Selene is, she can still get distracted so that he could escape. His mother is constantly in a state, worrying about where her foal, though is usually just a little ways away.
