Akari [ a-car-ee ] Japanese origin meaning "Light, Brightness"

This mare stands at about 14 hh tall, about an average height, and has a short and healthy coat. She is a perlino, with her creamy whitish color and pink skin, and bears no other markings on her coat. As for scars, she does have a few minor ones, one that is a bit more noticeable but is not pictured, is a spot on her left shoulder from a fight in her earlier years. The rest are hardly visible. This mare's mane and tail are the same color, white, though her tale takes on more of a yellowish hue. Akari's eyes are a stunning light blue, the edges of her big orbs are rimmed by a darker blue that fades to that light blue as it reaches her pupil. Her eyes are then framed by lighter lashes that appear almost white. These mares' build is more lean than bulky, and she has more speed than strength, but will put up a fight in order to defend her herd. 
Personality: This mare is a self-less horse, with the herd's well-being constantly in the back of her mind. She will always consider the perspectives of the herd members when helping the lead stallion make decisions. She is quite intelligent in this way, and will always look for another solution to a tough problem to better help the herd. Akari's loyalty to the herd runs deep, her family had been in it for as long as she could remember, and would lay her life down to help protect them. Akari is also quite friendly with those in the herd and would take some time out of her day to speak with any. She is open to anyone if they need to speak about something concerning the herd, and will give her full attention to them. This mare is a great listener and can be patient with the younger foals as well. Not only is she loyal, and trustworthy, but she also values loyalty and trust in her friends, you won't find her associating with "the wrong crowd". If you are going to be in her inner circle of friends you must have her trust, and while you don't have to be as deeply committed to the herd as she feels, you must still show loyalty to the lead, she dislikes any sort of insubordination and once she gets proof of it she will give a full detail report to the lead and let him decide what to do next. Akari knows when to step back and let him handle the situation, though if it comes to it and she and the Second hand can reach an agreement, she would urge the lead to see it the way they do. When it comes to her Deputy position, she will fight to keep it. This mare had to prove that she was worthy of it, she had to be able to vocalize and communicate properly in order to enforce the herd rules and the lead stallions' decisions. A part of her job was also to help fend off bachelors or lone stallions looking to pick off herd mares. Which she has done in the past, with her loyalty to the herd running strong, she would never allow herself to be taken without a fight, and won't allow that to happen to any of the mares that don't want to get taken against their own will, espcially under her watch now. Because of how she worked to get where she is now, Akari won't let the old Deputy waltz back in and expect her position to be restored. She will put up a fight if necessary, any past feelings of love should not be a deciding factor that the lead stallion uses to choose the Deputy. This mare had been loyal and hard working in the six/seven years that Kali had been gone, and that should count the same time that the former deputy served. It seemed to her that since the experience was the same, that it was a matter of who served more recently. She knows the herd members and its current issues more than Kali would since she has been gone for so long. Now, this mare does not want to stir more drama than there may be, she just believes that the position is still rightfully hers and rather keep any arguments on the rank between the Second Hand, the Lead Stallion, her, and the former Deputy. She doesn't want the herd to worry over how the management of the herd is fairing and she doesn't fear possible "backlash" that might happen because of it. Akari just wants what's best for the herd, and with the missing horses returning the leadership should stay the same. Their return was a shock and with all the change there should still be some constants in their life. While she is also generally not stubborn and has little to no temper, the subject of her possible removal will definitely push her buttons for various reasons already stated. Now Akari does not hold grudges anymore, though old ones she had made when she was a young yearling are starting to resurface. When Kali had been Deputy she had looked up to her, being a few years younger than the former Deputy and wanting to be just as successful as her. But an interesting exchange happened between the two, and she felt belittled, and that Kali had treated her wrong and held more of a one-sided grudge against her. With her return, she has started to become jealous of the relationship she once had with Eleos, and before her return, she had started to call him Elliot. After how long she had known and served with him for she thought it would be the next step in a closer friendship, though she never wanted anything more with him. With the former Deputy's appearance, she has started to call him that more to show how long she has known him, and how long she has held the position, in hopes that the Deputy won't try to take it from her. Some of the jealousy she is feeling stems from the fact that she had never been near to having a mate, or even a relationship like Elliot and Kali. Akari always wanted something like that but the opportunity never came along, if she ever had a foal it was from something she thought was worth putting her time and effort into, but it would fall apart. They had made it seem so easy and they seemed so close, but then she disappeared and all hope for their return was lost. Until she managed to find the herd again, along with the other missing. Tynan [ TIGH-nuhn ] Irish origins, meaning "dark, dusty"

Tynan will grow into a larger male, standing around 32 inches at the shoulder and weighing in at 155 pounds. His height, compared to most, will be just on the edge of average and slightly taller. He will have a strong, muscular frame, allowing him to take on potentially larger enemy wolves or prey with more ease than a smaller-sized wolf might. Though currently, this young wolf is much smaller and even on the leaner side. This wolf's eyes are along the lines of a pale yellow and a yellowish-green color, and really stand out against his greyscaled pelt. Tynan's fur is much shorter and denser compared to most and has an interesting coloration. He is more of a grey wolf, like his brother, but also has some cream colors that start from his belly and blend into his legs. He also has a little bit of red, though that is mostly concentrated around his muzzle, the back of his ears, and his tail. The rest of his pelt is grey, though it grows darker along his back and around his face and chest. He has no other markings or scars that are visible or that stand out. Personality: Tynan is quite the opposite of his brother, he is less dreamy and more down to earth. He is focused on his training to become a better asset to the pack, as well as any other skills he may need practice in. Eventually, he hopes to become a High guard, but in order to do that, he wants to prove his worthiness of the spot and willingness to learn what he needs to do in order to get there. Making this trainee more determined and hardworking. He wants to be trusted by the pack and won't jeopardize that by agreeing to do something stupid while he is a trainee, Tynan wants some respect once he becomes a pack member and doesn't want to be known for some foolish thing he did in his earlier years. This wolf could be considered intelligent, and a fast learner. He can pick up on a hunting technique or fighting skill faster with practice, and actually doing it than just seeing it done, or hearing it explained. Tynan is meticulous when it comes to technique and will practice until he gets it right, in this way he is very passionate about what he does. This trainee is more independent, he will socialize with the other trainees but does prefer some time spent with himself. When he has to deliver some sort of information, he is not one to beat around the bush and is more straightforward, though he does have some empathy if he were to deliver harder news. Tynan takes time to pick his friends, he values trust so if you lose his it will be pretty hard to regain. He will hold a grudge if you do something to make him lose his trust, he won't be one to quickly forgive if you spite him either. Tynan has a sharp memory and won't be forgetting anytime soon. This wolf does have a slight temper that is a bit easier to trigger than most, he gets frustrated with himself quickly and if you catch him at a bad time it could make it worse. He is working towards becoming more patient with other wolves when conversing but has no problem being patient for prey. Tynan could be described as a loyal wolf, he was never one to hide secrets from the pack, though he does now to keep his personal things out of the ears of his pack mates. If he is ever out on a patrol and notices someone out of the ordinary, he would be quick to report it to his superiors, something that could impact the pack's future shouldn't be left alone. This Lioness is a bit larger, standing 3.5 ft at the shoulder, weighing 365 pounds, and being 4.8 feet long. She is a considerably strong lioness, though has much to learn still, due to her still being younger. Atiya is done growing as far as her height, though her weight will change depending on her food intake and age. Her head had yet to start broadening out, it is still a smaller size though its growth will continue the older she gets. Her fur color is tawny and lightens up along her chest, belly, and legs. Her fur could also be described as short and has a bit of a coarser texture, though where it happens to grow longer on her, it is not as rough. Her tail is similar, though it does have a little fluffy tuft of hair on the end. Under Atiya's jaw, there is another lighter, white patch, she has no other markings or cub spots on her pelt. This female's eyes are an orange ish-brown color and are quite large, being about 3x as big as a human eye. Her orbs don't stand out as much against the colors of her fur but are more noticeable if you stand closer. Personality: This lioness strives to be a skillful hunter and with her social skills, and good communication certainly helps. While she has a lot to learn Atiya is willing to spend the time to figure out better hunting techniques, she could still be considered a young lioness, with only five years compared to the possible nineteen a lioness could live. On a hunt, she would try to only attempt prey she is capable of and is smart enough to stay away from the larger prey she couldn't handle, and could possibly get hurt with if she is alone. If she ever came across a mouse, she wouldn't go for prey that small either. When stalking her prey, she can be quite patient, slowly moving towards her target, eyes locked on its body before she makes the kill. And if she has to make chase, this lioness is a determined one and will go after it until the chase is no longer worth it. When working with the other lionesses from her pride, Atiya is great at communicating, whether through words, or even a glace, and flick of the tail if they need to be silent in a hunting situation, she does her best to get her point across clearly to avoid any unwanted confusing. The last thing she wants to do is jumble her thoughts or say the wrong thing in front of the queen or other higher ranks, possibly making her seem less intelligent than she feels. She takes pride in being a lioness in her pride, though is disappointed in her fellow pridemates at choosing the current Queen over their rightful one. She had nearly been convinced to join the current Queen and help build the new pride under her, but she felt it was wrong to do so when the dual, if you could even call it that, would be unfair. Instead, Atiya choose to stay with the rightful Queen and seek asylum in the neighboring pride. Her loyalty runs deep and she knows where she stands among her old pridemates, she will do whatever she can to assist her queen in returning to her pride. Fight for her, die for her. If that what it takes for her Queen to get her pride back she would do it, it’s only right since she was subject to mutiny. If the dual was fair, and the current queen had won fairly, she would have followed without questioning, but that didn’t happen and Atiya will bid her time as a refugee until she can help get the pride back. This lioness is careful with her words, and not just blurting out random thoughts or ideas, rather she makes sure it makes sense and would be the most logical. This female won't be making a fool of herself by speaking un-intelligently in a situation, especially if it's an urgent one that requires quick and decisive thinking. This lioness is a quick thinker and can usually come up with a quality solution in a decent about of time. When being addressed from a higher rank she obeys without question, they were clearly put in place for a reason so why go against them? She will address the higher ranks in the Ximhungwe pride who were gracious enough to let her stay, with just as much respect as her Queen. This lioness is a social creature, she enjoys spending time speaking with the other lionesses and prefers to have company, than be alone. She can definitely take care of herself, she just feels complete with the pride around her or a friend to talk to. It’s definitely strange living temporarily in a pride, and then possibley making friends that you may have to meet in battle latter down the road. But Atiya is greatful for the Ximhungwe pride’s kindness. Crush: She did previously start to like a male from her pride, but is now unsure since they are serving under a queen who took control during a mutiny. This Queen is a larger size, with her strong build adding on some additional weight, which ends up coming to about 370 pounds, standing 3.5 ft at the shoulder and being 4.9 ft long. She is quite strong, which helped her overtake the previous Queen. Onto her fur, it is considerably short and coarse in texture, though on her longer tufts it does soften up, especially on the little fluf at the end of her tail. Ashanti’s eyes are more noticeable than others, they are orange but take on a brighter version of the color. They stand out against her pelt and are more stunning up close. The color of her fur is Tawny, though it takes on more of a golden hue, the color also lightens up near her paws, though stays consistent throughout the rest of her. Under her jaw and around her lower muzzle is a white patch, she has no other markings or cub spots. Ashanti does have a few scars through her fur, they are small and generally unnoticeable except for one larger scar. This one is over her right shoulder, she was clawed there during a fight earlier in her life, which resulted in the scar, it’s quite visible and no fur had grown over it. Personality: This lioness seems like she was born to have the role of Queen, and she sure as hell acts like it, but her older-I'm assuming she is the younger sister-sister had taken on the role instead. It had left her furious but Ashanti had kept it hidden, making sure to show some support here or some affection towards her there, but the title should have been hers, and this lioness was not about to sit back and let her sister take it. She had finally bid her time long enough and started to make a plan to stage a rebellion, whispering ill-mannered comments about Rasheda behind her back, and string rumors about what "was actually happening behind the scenes". She persuaded and convinced and manipulated both the lions, and lionesses in her pride to join her, and to take back the pride from that wretched Queen who had planned to away so much from them. It wasn't long before she had convinced most that she would be a better fit, fair and unbiased, and then she struck. Ashanti came out the clear winner, and most of the pride was hers, only three lionesses had left the pride with the former queen and she considered it a big win. Now she could rebuild the pride the way she wanted it. Ashanti is a regal and dignified lioness, head held high and proud because she is proud, proud of herself for pulling this stunt off and doing it herself. Of course, that would seem selfish, but that's what she is. This lioness has an involved, satisfied, and kind exterior, and she hides it well. She has basically been practicing hiding that side of her ever since she knew her sister would become queen, with her fake smiles appearing realistic, and especially that "look of respect" she has when near the view of her lion and lionesses. Because of the "they did it, they were able to take back their Pride and I couldn't have done it without them" attitude she puts up. If the pride had found out she had never truly felt that way, she doubts there would have been this much support for her taking control. Though even if that happened, her ambition was too great to let that setback get in her way. Ashanti is not as merciful as her sister may have been, if you step out of line there will be consequences. Which she argues is important if they are to establish a strong pride, capable of great things if they are smart enough to follow the rules the higher ranks have given them. She will rule by fear if that's what's necessary but would prefer not to for the time being since she is still playing the good guy in this scenario. The rules she has set up for the pride are similar to her sisters, but a little more strict, she believes her sister was a lax ruler and if the pride wants to strengthen themselves they shouldn't have grown so soft. This lioness is quite intelligent, an example of this is the fabulous stunt she was able to pull off called "taking the pride for herself". Ashanti coordinated this alone, so she must have had the brain capacity to come up with something like that. She is also smart enough to keep her love life separate from her politics. With the new ranks she has appointed, Ashanti makes sure the lions she choices to have a powerful position are also separated from those she may have a softer spot for. This is done on purpose so that if she needs to make large decisions her head is clear and her thinking is not muddled. Yes, this lioness is also capable of love, which seems strange considering some of the information you have learned about her, but she is in fact capable. Ashanti will have her favored male or mate that she chooses to have cubs with, and those cubs are the creatures she loves the most. They will always have her full support, protection, and affection. The male she has them with will also share a part of this, though depending on how much she trusts him or thinks of him will determine how much he gets. When raising her cubs she makes sure to teach each of them to respect the higher ranks and expects them to stay in line more and more as they age. She has high expectations for her cubs and expects the pride to treat them with respect, if they refuse then you can expect to see a mother's rath come at you with full force. Now if you inflict physical pain upon them, well, I guess your luck has finally run out, run for the hills while you still can. As for her other family, her sister is clearly despised, though Rasheda's offspring is a different story. Her niece is one lioness she holds true respect for. Since she had stayed in the pride under her rule when her mother was forced out, and would even treat her like her own cub. If war was ever declared on her pride, this lioness doesn't plan to go down without a fight. You will have to kill her to get Rasheda back as Queen. If Ashanti did end up surrendering and going rouge, that wouldn't mean you saw the last of her, oh no, she will return stronger than ever with reinforcements to personally take you down. She is not one to give up, so unless you want this relentless lioness trailing your pride you better get rid of her. (c) to Valkyrie-Stock on Deviantart Halia is a small foal, barley standing below her mother's shoulder, though while she may be on the smaller side, she is still as strong as a 3-month-old could be. With sturdy legs and a strong neck, supporting her head, Hali's coat is a light palomino and she has a white blaze running down her face and ending on her lightly greyed muzzle. Her eyes are a dark brown and her mane is a whisp of fuffy white, Hali's tail is a shorter floofly little thing, and is just as white as her mane. Personality: Halia is nearly the opposite of some of the social foals in the herd, sticking to her mother's side and only exploring the 6-foot radius around her mother. When around her father, the little filly will brighten up and talk some, playfully bumping noses with him and occasionally playing a gentle game with some of the gentler foals, letting them talk all they while Hali listens quietly, occasionally adding her own small thoughts in or responding to questions. Though she'll occasionally get a brave moment and may speak up or try to run around with the other foals. While Hali seems quieter, reserved, and even a little frightened at times around the other herd members, she does have a little attitude around her father and mother, playing games and nipping playfully at them and ducking beneath them, using her small size to her advantage. This foal doesn't mind asking her mother a question that just happens to pop up in her mind, whether it may be a bit silly or totally serious. Sleep comes easily and during random periods of time Halia will run over to her mother or father, laying down in their shadow and either drift off for a bit or just lay there and watch the herd, feeling the safest when she 'hides beneath' them. Rashika's eyes are large, with a round black pupil in the center. Their color is a pale orangish-yellow that is similar to the color of her fur. Which is a tawny color, though a lighter version. When she is older it will turn into a tawny color with more of a golden hue to it. This cub's fur texture is on the softer side, though will grow a bit courser as she gets older. As of now she still has her cub spots, but now that she is five months Rashika will start to begin losing them, or rather, they will start fading. Though to her dismay, won't fade entirely from her haunches. Her size is still quite small and she will only reach her mother's shoulder in height when she is 12 months/1years. 
Personality: Rashika is an observant cub, something’s gone wrong? She can pick up on facial expressions and emotions quite well. Can’t find your stick? Its ledges between those rocks over there. With her being so aware is really helps her stay safe, meaning, she won’t wander outside of the pride. She understands some of the dangers through what the adults have talked about, but that doesn’t include all of the dangers. So this cub is carful to follow her mother’s rules so she doesn’t have to cause her more worry by being a wanderer. Speaking of her mother, this cub is quite affectionate with the “older” lioness. Often weaving herself between her paws, stretching out at her side, or giving her a gentle nudge. Rashika craves her mother’s time and attention, she looks up to her a lot and it always means so much to her when Efuru pays her attention. Not that she doesn’t, it’s just she has two other cubs and sometimes she will get jealous of her mother “spending more time” with her sisters. She treats her sister’s in a similar fashion, though can still get a bit rough with them, play fighting, and wrestling. Battering their sides, though carful not to actually hurt them so she doesn’t get in trouble, and nipping their ears just to remind them of her dominance. Being the middle child of course(if that’s alright) she constantly needs to show it so her sisters don’t think they can just attack her out of nowhere and get away with it. The oldest may think she is more dominant than her, while the younger may try to take advantage of that and pull some stunt to try and put herself above Rashika. So in her mind, she can’t let that happen. Even with all the fighting they may do, she still loves her sisters and would do whatever to defend them, weather from another cub, or something more. She couldn’t bear to lose them. Her sister Amurshaya is an interesting case, with her cold and sarcastic exterior she sometimes frightens this cub, though Rashika hides it pretty well. She still tries her best to see past that initial personality that her sister puts forward, and see her “good side”. She treats her with respect like she would with any other cub, except one...and will ocationally put her on a higher pedestal, she admires her sister, though for what she couldn’t tell you. As for her other sister Mukantagara, ___ Now this cub is kind hearted, and even a little innocent seeming at times since she is still young. Though she is old enough to understand most things, she isn’t afraid to learn the truth, her mother brought her up that way with her blunt honesty and tough love. She may even use the same tactic on her future cubs, since it seemed to work out well for her. Rashika is a social creature, once she warms up to you, this cub tends to stay in her shell a bit before she knows you. Once she does she will be just as friendly, when playing she looks for ways to include the other cubs, since it’s more fun when everyone is together. She is kind towards all most and is hesitant to inflict unnecessary violence towards any of the other cubs, it just doesn’t feel right, and isn’t like the play fighting they do. Rashika is always ready for an adventure, being a curious but cautious cub, she enjoys to explore the land around the pride, and the designated area where she must stay/play. When she is older, this cub’s personality changes quite drastically. She has a cool, calm, collected exterior, and is not as inviting as she was when she was a cub. Though Rashika will get over her little grudges she holds against one of the other cubs, and will strive for some peace between those who may dislike her. She becomes ambitious and a strong lioness, striving for the Second in command rank and constantly wanting to prove her worth to the pride. Though she does feel as if she needs to prove that she is a good asset to everyone, so she has insecurities there as well. Anatolii [ ah-nah-TOH-lee ] Russin origins, meaning "sunrise" [ Age ] Six years [ Gender ] Male [ Position ] Team dog [ Appearance ] This male stands at a good 22 inches off of the ground, making him more of an average height. He then weighs in at around 53 pounds, which is a bit on the heavier side, but muscle mass take up a portion of that. His build is leaning more towards the muscular side, though for his position it’s not necessarily pure bulk and muscle that is needed. He just happens to have a little more muscle than an average team dog might have. This makes eyes are Heterochromia iridum or Bi-eyed. With one being a dark brown, almost black color, and the other is a piercing blue, with lighter flecks of that color towards the pupil. Anatolii is a black and white Siberian Husky. With the white face, underbelly and legs, his markings are more “standard” and less uncommon. His mask is unique, with two black stripes coming down the inside of his face, between his eyes and ending about an inch from his nose. A white line runs through the middle of it. He also has black marks under his eyes, in more of a “U” shape. [ Personality ]
Anatolii is a calm dog, he is not one that will easily rile up and is able to keep his emotions under control in more difficult situations. He doesn’t fear an awful lot, other than losing his remaining teammates(and of course, spiders), and will do what he can to protect them. Even if he isn’t the most high ranking he still feels the urge to look after everyone, though only does it to a point so it doesn’t seem annoying and so he’s not stepping on the higher-up’s tails. He had a lot of respect for what they do, and he knows it must be difficult trying to lead the rest of the team through this hard time, so he stays in line and is not one to stir up drama. He hates making hard situations worse so he will often keep to himself during an argument, but don’t think he won’t speak up for himself if his name is being dragged in the mud. This dog is a patient creature, he won’t be the one to wander off and try to find his own way. But will stay with the group and wait until they decide their next steps. Anatolii respects the rules the higher ranks put in place and will follow their orders to a T. The only time he would question it is when he believes it wouldn’t be a benefit to the rest of the team, though he has no doubt the leaders would be selfish like that. He is a hardworking dog and always does his best to pull his weight, he hates to let the others work themselves harder just to keep up for what he lacks in and will always push himself as far as the other dogs are willing to go. This male is also generally confident, not enough to make him seem cocky, but enough so that he doesn’t have to be indecisive and can speak up. Anatolii believes that he is an approachable figure and that he is easy to talk to. He has always been a friendly dog and is pretty easygoing. He hardly has a temper, and it would take a lot of stress and pressure to push him over the edge. Only then does he become a bit snappy and short with people. This dog values trust, and though it takes a bit longer to earn his. He has definitely warmed up to those on the team and doesn’t have a problem with any of them(unless we decide otherwise in the team relationships). He also believes trusting each other, and the higher ranks judgment will make getting through this interesting problem easier. He is quite happy with how she has been doing as one of the leads and has a lot of respect for her and the work she has put into the team. Marena: Marena, while she can still be a bit snarky with him, is still friendly towards them and he considers her a friend. She is one of the huskies he does enjoy occasionally conversing with as well. While she is only a year older than him, Anatolii does still look to her for any experiences she has that could help him with his duties as a team dog. all stock (c) to bellatora-stock on da This Husky leans towards the shorter side, while still standing at an average height, 20 inches. She also weighs in around 45 pounds, making her a bit in the heavier side, though still quite average. Her build in on the leaner side, but Vira is still strong, with her powerful legs and lots of determination she can accomplish a lot. This female’s eyes are something special. She has Heterochromia iridum, also commonly know as bi-eyed. Where one of her eyes, the left, is dark brown, and then if you were to draw a ring around her pupil, it becomes lighter in color before darkening again. Her right eye is a piercing light blue, with darker blue flecks around the pupil, and rim of the eye. It also happens to have a brown spot in it, the same shade as her left eye and it is in the top left corner of her right eye. Elvira’s nose has a liver colored streak running through the center, and then on either side of it, her nose is black. Her fur is thick and feels soft to the touch. She is a black and white husky. Her white is mainly on her lower belly, lower legs, chest and face. With her black going across her back, sides, neck and head. The markings on her face also also black and white, with a white patch above each eye and then a fainter stripe running between them and down to her nose. The fur surrounding the eye is black and that is mostly under her eye and hardly reaches her muzzle. Vira’s inner ears are white. Her tail is quite interesting, the long fluffy thing is just as soft as her fur, and takes on a few different colors. The main one is black, which is mostly on the top and base of her tail. The white is then on the very tip and the underside of her tail. Through the whole thing, the black, white and ocasional grey make it look like little highlights were put onto her tail. Her tail has a sharp curve to it, and while she can straighten it, it is mostly curled over to touch her back. 
[ Personality ] At a glance, this female seems cold and antagonistic. With her steely gaze, a stare that would seem to burn right through you. And her posture, it’s almost intimidating the way she carries herself with such grace and confidence, head held high in a way that suggests she’s above you. Which she is. Her face often is sitting in an RBF or resting bitch face. With her eyes narrowed and facial expression seeming constantly irritated. All of this may add up to some form of intimidation when you first meet this female. That and she tends to talk sharply when in the presence of strangers, she means to be like this in order to show her dominance or that she is unafraid of anything you might throw at her, or her team. She will not let any doubt or fear slip into her words, she will not appear weak or frightened in front of those she does not know and tries to do the same with the team. Elvira will not put herself in a position she is incapable of being seen fit for leadership in, and it doesn’t help her team stay confident to find that their leader is afraid. This is how she shows herself to outsiders, and I doubt she would change her approach. Elvira is a totally different dog within her team, she is social and quite friendly once you earn her trust, which most everyone on her team has earned. Speaking of trust, that is a value that she believes goes both ways, you need to trust her and she needs to trust you in order to become closer friends, if it only goes one way it doesn't work. She is a trustworthy dog, if you bring important information to her and wish to keep it anonymous, she will. If you share secretes, of any size, she will keep them, she is not the type to gossip or drag your name through the mud. Elvira judges your character on the present and not your past, she is a forgiving creature and willing to give second chances. Though it will be harder to convince her to give you a third. This female is selfless when it comes to her team, and will do anything to get them through this trying time. She would lay down her life for their safety and does her very best to look after all of them. A word to describe Elvira is protective. Especially of her family, as stated, she will lay her life down to defend them, but can also get a little on the aggressive side. Hurt her family and you better run for the hills because that’s something she won’t forget. You will be punished. She can’t stand to see her friends in pain, with any serious injuries she tends to become flustered. Vira does her best to soothe them, and herself but the first sign of blood or a major injury, she becomes a frantic and a little sick. This is when she has her Swing dog take over and she will support from a distance. When is comes to safety or an important topic, Vira is a no nonsense type of gal. She hates to beat around the bush and rather be told the story straight away, than hear about minor/side details. She does the same when addressing the team, and will give any news straight to them. This lead dog hates keeping things from her team, they deserve to be fully updated on their situations and shouldn’t be kept in the dark. Elvira is dependable she’s not late to address something and if she has to get something done, it’s done on time and in an orderly fashion. Elvira can be an affectionate dog towards those she loves, including family, close friends, and her mate. This mare is nearly the same height as her mother, standing less than a hand shorter than herd. Coming to a grand total of 14.1 hh, her height when she finishes growing around 4 years of age, will be 15.2 hh. Ria is still a young mare, and while she is no longer a yearling, she will continue to do a bit more growing. The photo’s above show more of her adult appearance, she is just slightly smaller as of now. For her coat color, she takes after her mother’s painted look, but instead of black and white markings she has white and chestnut, which she got from her father. As of now, the chestnut takes on more of a redish hue and is visible sleek and healthy. The majority of this young mare is chestnut, with her white markings being a stripe on her face, three high stockings and on her front right leg she has a white stocking. She does have markings of a paint, but also has two spots. They are white and are smaller, but are on the left side of her neck, and are mostly hidden by her mane. Speaking of her mane, this creature has a long gourgeous one. With the top half being the same color as her coat, and the bottom half being white. Her tail still has a little bit of growing to do. Though it will reach nearly to the floor when it does finish growing. It’s color is white, though the ends turn to more of a yellowish - chestnut color, similar to her mane.

This is how she shows herself to outsiders, which includes the new lead stallion, and I doubt she would change her approach. With her friends, Ria is a whole new mare. She is friendly, and supportive though is not one to make friends quickly, so her circle of friends may be a bit small. She wants to try and bond with more of the herd mares during this difficult time. She hopes to do this through a mutual hate for the new lead stallion, it took all of her will not to throw herself at him out of rage for killing her younger brother. This young mare still has a lot to learn and can be impulsive like that, she also has a slight temper, thought that will slowly disappear with age, as she gains more wisdom. 
The new lead makes her uncomfortable when she is in his presence, there is just something about him that makes her feel this way. Maybe it’s knowing that he has the blood of all the foals and yearlings on his hooves. Or maybe it was his intimidating size. She also shakes ever so slightly around him, and this is out of two things. Pure hatred, and then just being uncomfortable. This mare will hold grudge, and she does defiantly have one against Howthorn, it’s one she will never forget. When it comes time for her to have foals, if the new LS and his lutienent are around she will refuse. Ria will not be forced to bear the foals of such awful creatures, and won’t be afraid to defend herself. Giving them a sharp nip or a swift kick to the rump. She may even leave. This mare gets to decide who her mate is, not some temporary cold blooded stallion only looking to carry on his line. She will be stubborn and refuse to let someone else take control of her life. Since it is possible for mares to breed at two years of age, she is wary of the new stallions and their ambitions, though has no plans to become a mother that young. A fight will be coming their way if one decides to try something. When she eventually does have offspring, she will be more of a stricter mother, leading with an ‘iron hoof’ and will do her best to educate them as soon as possible. When it comes to safety or an important topic. This young mare is a no nonsense type of gal, and especially hates to beat around the bush. Extra details and an eleborate story don’t need to be told if the information could threaten the herd. She does like the ocasional story, but not if it is trying to soften the blow from the truth. Ria is strong and can be somewhat mature in this category, she can take it. This also shows her less patient side, she is able to wait for some time, but not long and won’t wait for others to drag their hooves. Though this can change if it is family, she is calmer around her siblings and parents. In fact, she is also quite protective of them, that’s also why she reacted to strongly to her younger brothers murder.
