"Alright" Sage replied as she followed everyone up the stairs, careful to leap over that third step. I hope the rest of the stairs are easier, She thought anxiously. When they entered the next room Sage saw that those stairs looked very unstable. Jack didnt reply, as soon as he heard her whine he spun around and saw a wolf pack, about 5 wolves were all in a defense pose snarling at them. Jack didn't know what to do, it would be suicide to attack, or even to look like they posed a threat. "Stay still" he whispered, unsure of what the wolves might do if they moved.

Apex led the way, carefully inching his way up the staircase. A few gave way and he almost fell a good thirty feet down to the churning waters. With a shaken sigh, he jumped onto the the next platform. Violet nodded slowly. "We mean no harm. The waters washed us in here.. I dont even know where we may be at this moment," She honestly told the wolves. Slowly she cruched down, to seem less threatening.

Sage nervously walked up the second pair of stairs, she could feel her legs shaking at every step. She dared not look down it was far to high and she might panic even more. Drawing a few shaky breathes she tried calming herself, trying not to shake, as that was making things worse. Jack crouched down next to her, hoping this would help them see they weren't a threat. The largest wolf spoke, "the flood has washed many in, but that doesn't mean we're going to let you enter our territory!" The wolf gave a snarl, "I'm tired of helpless dogs thinking they can rest here! When they can't!" The rest of the pack growled. "So I suggest you move on and don't come back, because if you don't well, we won't be to freindly." The large wolf barred his teeth menacingly.

Apex sighed. "Its getting scarier and less safe each flight we go up. I'll test it out, and I need be sacrifice for all of your safety." He walked up the next. These ones were very sturdy, surprisingly. The next flight was mostly washed up, and he had to make a daring leap across. He waited for the rest of them. Violet whined. " We cant go anywhere else, and I am injured. Even shelter for just a minute would be very helpful, and we can be on our way. I'm ready to fight if you really want to attack me," Violet whined back.

Sage whimpered, she was getting to scared to go up the next flight. "I can't do it!" She whined shaking. This was my idea! I need to try and be brave! She thought, yet she couldn't. Jack stood at full height, "I'm ready to attack, if it comes to that," he snarled raising his hackles. "Mm brave words," to and there only words" A wolf snarled. "Let us stay! Atleast for one night!" He growled. The wolves didn't answer, and instead they surrounded both of them, snarling, ready for attack.
(this is pretty short sorry!)

Violet's breed was known for their fighting and hunting skills. She could take down a few wolves, right? The females' eyes slanted, and her ears pinned back the sides of her head. She was stanced widely, and beared a ferocious growl in her face. It was like something clicked, and she leaped towards one of the wolves who were about to attack. She was able to inflict a wound on the head of one. Violet leaped back and watched the wolves carefully, to see which one would attack first.

Jack was surprised at how fast the female attacked. Almost to surprised as he didn't see the 2 wolves that leaped on him, Snarling. He sunk his fangs into ones neck, causing the wolf to yelp and flee. But another wolf took its place and attacked him ferociously. (sorry writers block!)

Violet watched as two of the wolves fled. She saw that one wolf was latched onto Jack. She headbutted the wolf, and it stumbled back. The piece of debris shifted, causing Vioket to plunge into the waters, She was luckily able to climb on to land.

Jack struggled to get the large wolf off of him, he saw the female fall into the water but after that he didn't know what happened. He was strong but the wolf was stronger and larger. He felt fangs sink into his shoulder and he yelped in pain. He tried to bite back but he was pinned and he could barely move. Jack could feel the wolf's hot breath on his face as he spoke, "you wanted a fight you got one you couldn't win." The wolf snarled, and prepared to sink his fangs into Jack's neck.

Violey had already grown quite fond of Jack, and wouldn't let some stupid wolf kill him. She leaped from the ground onto the platform. "You better not touch him!" She snapped, and rammed into the wolf. It stumbled off, and she followed it into the water. (Writers block)
