"Tha-" Jack tried to reply but realized Violet was gone. Jack survived the damage done to his shoulder, the wound was bad and bleeding a lot. Jack stood up, causing the platform to wobble. "Woah... " he murmured trying to leap off of it onto the sturdy ground. The platform flipped over, causing Jack to fall into the river. Jack desperately tried to swim to the top but found he had no strength. He passed after trying to hard. A trail of blood from his wound was making its way to the surface.

Violet moved off the wolf and it scampered away into the forest. "Pssh. Scaredy cats," She growled. Soon the female realized that Jack was missing, and that a puddle of blood was contaminating that waters. Violet quickly stuck her head under the water, pulling the male dog out.

Jack gasped for breath, coughing up water. "Thanks" he managed to say through breathes. She saved me! I could've died.. but she saved me! Thoughts ran through his brain as he looked around. His eyes hurt and his vision was quite fuzzy. All the sudden he remembered his sister and a sense of dread came creeping back to him. "What if she died, it would be my fault.. I'm the one that left her," Jack thought aloud. He looked at his shoulder, it was still bleeding and bitten pretty bad, but all the sudden that didn't seem to matter anymore. "What now?" Jack asked mostly to himself.

"Well.. We can try and escape without getting killed, or submit to said wolves and escape. Its your choice.. Im sure your sister hasnt died," Violet smiled. She was trying to be as motivational as she could, and she didnt want anyone to loose hope. "Would you like me to look at your shoulder?" Violet asked, tilting her head to the side with a smile.

"I think the wolves are gone for now so maybe we can just leave." Jack replied feeling a anxious. He looked at his paws, unsure of what to do, "yeah you can look at my shoulder." I shouldn't lose hope... He thought trying to replace his thoughts of his sister with anything else. "So i think we should find something to eat maybe get some rest then get moving." He advised. Jack didn't know what else to say, he still felt a bit nervous.

"Where there is one wolf, there is always more," Violet shook her head. She then walked over and examined the bleeding cut on Jack's shoulder. That's pretty bad.. Violet walked away, grabbing a few things. She had grabbed a few nettle leaves, and a long dandelion. "Now this is going to sting, its nettle. It will help," She firmly stated, before carefully applying the few nettle leaves on his shoulder. Violet used the dandelion to tie it together so it didnt come off.

Jack yelped in pain as she put the nettles on, "I'll be fine.." he whispered. As they stayed longer jack felt unnerved, Violet was right, where there was one wolf there would most definitely be more. Maybe they might think I'm a wolf and back off.. he sighed no that would never work, he may look like a wolf but he carried the scent of the city not the forest, or a pack. "Violet we should go, like now..." he faultered as he heard a sound. He turned around to see a squirrel dash away and up a tree. Jack gave a sigh of relief. He was extremely tired but he knew they couldn't stay and they must get going.

Violet softly pressed down on it with her paw. "Thepat should hold until I can find what I need. Come on, let's get going then. If we find more wolves, just play it off. Roll onto your back and submit to them, it works just about every time. We can only how it works on them.." She sighed, standing up. Violet broke into a slow trot, waiting for Jack to catch up. Another growl made her freeze.

Sumbit, the word was not in Jack's vocabulary, he was used to being top dog, fighting his way out of things. This was going to be impossible! Why did I have to get wounded! He thought feeling quite annoyed. Jack, after awhile sighed reluctantly and followed. Jack heard the growl almost instantly, but he couldn't quite make out where it was until he felt the hot breath of something, or someone behind him, he froze.

Violet watched everything that was happening. A large wolf who looking to be that of a scout or alpha stood behind Jack. She pinned her ears back, slowly laying down. The female dog rolled onto her back, exposing her belly, to submit. She hoped this didnt cause an attack. Jack.. you are going to get even more hurt! She thought.
