At the mumbled words, her ears twitched, but it wasn't enough for her system to wake her up yet. Though when he started to move to get up, she did stir. Blinking her eyes open as she lifted her head, just managing to stop herself from growling. She had almost forgotten what had happened.

With a yawn, she slowly got to her paws and stretched. "How's your head feel? You didn't hit it when you fell?" She questioned, watching the stranger warily. Yes, he was a shifter, but not all shifters were kind. Though she did have the advantage of not being injured and would be able to get our of here faster. The only reason she was calm as she was. She cautiously moved closer to make sure his wing hadn't bled through, then lightly stepped away to what she considered a comfortable distance. As she moved away, she grabbed the medical kit she had left there earlier in her mouth and returned it to where she stored it.

There really wasn't much to her little den. Just some items she had gathered over the years. Couch pillows, definetly scavenged from somewhere, served as soft place to sleep, the otherwise cold and hard floor was decorated with an old rug. What once was book cases was now used as shelves for other items. And things she found pretty, salvaged from the rubble and found in other places, decorated the place here and there. While it was not proper house, it was her home and she was fond of it.

"And is your wing feeling alright?" She added to her original question. Even with being a bit wary, she would make sure this stranger was okay. Dragging him all the way here would be pointless otherwise, wouldn't it? Plus, she didn't quite know what else to do.

It was a relief to hear that he was fine, all things considered. And so far not given a reason to be any more wary of him, she became a little more relaxed. "Well you are welcome to leave whenever you want" she offered calmly in response when he said his friend would be looking for him, then tilted her head slight when he went on to say she must not be on the outer rim much.

"No, only occasionally" she answered with a slight shrug as she sat down, "only when I need" she added. There was plenty to keep herself busy with out here and it wasn't as dangerous. So she only went to get food or whatever she needed and was starting to run out of. Luckily for him, today had been one of those days and she had somehow managed to be in the right place in just the right time. She would have liked to not be startled like she had been, but not much could have been done about that.

She didn't recognize him either, but that was nothing new. Almost no one knew her, so it shouldn't be a surprise that she didn't know many shifters. "You must be popular to know every shifter in the outer rim?" She said, unable to help her own curiousity about what little she had just learned about him. There was quite a few shifters around there as far as she was aware, so he definitely had to be popular in some way.

Iru sat down and listened quietly as he spoke. His answer had definitely not been on the list of what she had expected it to be. If what he was saying was true, then he was definetly doing a good thing, even if humans wouldn't agree as much. "So a modern day Robin hood?" She said with a slight smile. "That's very kind thing to do. I've heard the shifter fights can be brutal" she added, her voice softening slightly. She had seen a bit of those fights herself years ago..involuntarily. It was actually one of the reasons she chose to stay out here and away from things. She didn't want to get too close to that again.

It was sad, knowing that someone had to things like this to help others survive. And she was shoplifting to survive..something would have never even considered. She wasn't the only one shoplifting either. She knew that for a fact. It was simply something necessary that had to be done to stay alive.

Iru nodded slightly at his explanation of what it was like, she still couldn't imagine it being very easy. Even if rabid shifters attacked without plan, it was still a fight to the death. One wrong move and you could be injured badly. But fighting against a shifter that wasn't rabid had to be far more dangerous. And the money would mean alot to the shifters, she knew that much. Life was a struggle for shifters.

Her ears pricked slightly when he told her his name and asked for hers in return. "Iruna" she answered calmly, offering another slight smile. She was glad she had been able to help him, especially if he helped out the shifters as much as he did. If the Hunters had gotten hold of him...
