Amara looked at Sebastian when he moved away. "After yesterday, I dont think I want to heal such large wounds until I'm ready" she said with a smile. She wanted to start with smaller ones first if she was going to work her way up to being able to heal without getting so dizzy. Her blue eyes were locked onto him as she spoke. Amara chuckled slightly when he mentioned that he didnt know anyone that could heal. "I just had to ask" she said. When he stepped back and placed the book on the shelf before wanting to get shown around, Amara couldnt help but smile. "I think I know the perfect place to start" she said. She did her best to hide her blush, but didnt know if it worked. Amara lead him down a long hallway that eventually lead to a rather large garden. In the back there was a line of willows that Amara kept walking to. As she walked under them, there were little flowers of all colors that looked as though they were glowing. "This is one of my favorite places around here." ~~~~~ Aro rolled her eyes at her comment about nobody paying her to be there to check on him. "Well that's a first" he grumbled as he stood up to pin the sketch up on the wall with the others. He looked towards her as she opened the curtains to look out. "If nobody paid you, then why are you here" he asked as he narrowed his eyes looking at her. He wasnt used to others being around him anymore, so he became skeptical. The last time someone stayed around this long it was Amara trying to drag him out of the room for a walk. As Aro watched Lorelei, he was now curious as to why she would be in a room. He didnt see anything wrong that would cause her to want to be locked away. Not like how half his face was covered in scaring, making him feel like he was a monster. As he had been healing, many servants wouldnt look at him, casuing him to become more and more isolated, hating to be looked at. "The sketches arent really much" he said as he heard her say they were remarkable. Most of the time he ended up with too many and tossed them out. |

Sebastian could see the blush on her cheeks when he had grabbed her hand. He couldn't help but chuckle slightly at that, loving that he is able to get such a reaction out of her like that. He will have to see what other things he does that can also get a blush out of her. It will be amusing for him, though she might not appreciate it. Then again, she will have to get used to it as he wants to get to know everything about her, even the flaws. He has to say that he is pleased that she won't do any healing until she is ready. That made him feel better as he didn't want her to heal someone and it could cause her to be on the brick of death. He followed her into a garden, his gaze constantly flickering around to look at everything. A grin is on his lips as he is one who has always enjoyed gardens. Only Xander and Lorelei knew that, but now Amara knows this too. He looked at her after going under the Willow Tree, a smirk on his face at what he has on his mind. "Beautiful, but not as beautiful as you." He then started to snicker at himself, hating how cliche that sounds. What a total melt he is turning into. "I can see why this is your favorite place though." He added as he looked around. He then remembers that he will have to meet her father soon. They probably should've done that first, making him feel like he is rude not introducing himself. "We should see your father soon. I feel rude for not meeting him before going to the library." ------- Lorelei sighed as she looked over at him. Just like her and Sebastian, it seemed that Aro had a hard time trusting people. She has more of a reason to not trust people than Sebastian, but, of course, she never told her brother about that. She went over to him, leaning against his desk next to him. Her hands are by her side while her gaze is trained on his face. Should she say something that could perhaps let her into his trust circle? Then again, it might not even work and he might not even believe her about it either. She pursed her lips, trying to decide what she should do or say as she didn't want to say the wrong thing to him. "Well..." She trailed off, her gaze flickering away from his face and nowhere else in particular. She did snort when he said that his sketches aren't much. She will get back to why she is here in a moment. Her gaze flickered back to him, her brow raised as she leaned towards him ever so slightly. "Don't say that. I absolutely love them." She said, giving him a soft smile as she did so. It flattered though before she is finally going to tell him why she is here. "Because we both think we are monsters." She said as she reached out and gently let her hand go to the side of his face that didn't have the scar. She turned his head towards her so he was actually looking at her while she spoke. "We have scars that make us feel like we ugly, nothing, and feel like we have to hide in the darkness of our rooms to get away from prying eyes." She gave him a sad smile, though her eyes were holding nothing but the truth. |

Amara looked at Sebastian when he mentioned meeting her father soon. "I can send Cobalt off to find him, but if he is in his study, then you will have to wait for dinner" she said. "I dont know why, but he hates to be bothered there unless he actually sends for someone." She gave a small shrug and looked over to the little griffin hanging out in a bush. "Go find my father please" she said. As she stood up, he took off towards the study first before heading elsewhere. "It shouldnt take him long if you want to wait here or see other places." Amara wanted to give him options on what to do since she didnt want to be the one to take control over where she lead him and what they did. *We have to do this together* she thought as she smiled. "If your a little hungry, I can send someone to get us snacks, or we can head to the kitchen ourselves." She wasnt too hungry herself, but could do for a snack, but if Sebastian wasnt, then she could hold off until dinner. ~~~~~ Aro looked rather confused when Lorelei mentioned feeling like a monster. He hadnt known others to feel that way, and his cold eyes seemed to soften up. He shuddered slightly at her touch, not being used to it after so long of no other contact with others. "I dont know how you could feel like a monster" he said as he carefully put his hand on her wrist and pulled her hand off his face. He shook his head as he tore down all his sketches of the dragon. He held them out for Lorelei to take. "You like them so much, take them. Otherwise they are going in the trash" he said, his voice and eyes cold once more. *You cant open up to her* he thought. He could tell she meant what she said, but he just couldnt see how someone as beautiful as her could feel like a monster at all. ~~~~~ Haku's eyes were narrowed as he saw Amara and Sebastian so close. He had never seen this man before, and now him and Amara were close already. He didnt like it. *She should be mine* he thought as he kept his distance. The guard wasnt happy about them making it back. He knew that she had been suppose to meet up with someone in the village not far from the kingdom, and his plan almost worked, except he was told that they caught some guy instead of Amara. He was suppose to have been able to rescue her. He was suppose to save her and make her fall for him. *How can she not see that we belong?!* He clenched the handle of his sword before another guard walked up. "Sir, we found out he's the prince from the other kingdom" he said. Haku's eyes went wide. Now it made sense. "Good. Now that we know who he is, I now need to figure out how to deal with him" he said before Haku and the other guard walked away, looking as though they were just making their rounds. |

Sebastian listened to her, about to open his mouth but she was already sending Cobalt off. He could've waited for dinner, but he didn't get a say before she sent the little Griffin off to see if her father is in his office. He looked in the direction of where Cobalt went in, wondering if he should have a letter be sent to have Atticus come here. He feels bare without his canine companion next to him. It is odd to see him without the canine. It definitely made him feel less safe too, even though he can protect himself just fine. Well, earlier it didn't seem like that since he literally got shot with arrows. He furrowed his brows as he thought about it, zoning out and not hearing what she said about it shouldn't take long. He really does wonder if this person Haku is behind this like Amara said. He will definitely find out. He might sneak around tonight to talk to this man. He looked up when she asked if he was hungry. He shrugged his shoulders as he stood up, holding his hand out and helping her up from her seat. "I could perhaps go for a small snack. Since I didn't eat anything this morning." He said before wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulling her against his side. If Haku is around, he rather not have Amara get close to him. He limped as they walked, but not too bad, yet it was noticeable he was injured. "I am not that hungry before you ask me if I am starving." He said, telling her the truth. He just doesn't eat when he travels. It doesn't appeal to him. -------- Lorelei noticed that his eyes seemed to soften when she mentions the word monster. Ah, he definitely still has that soft, caring side to him. She let him pull her hand away from his face, surprise that his touch was careful and gentle. She for sure thought that he might slap it away for some reason. She snorted when he said he doesn't understand how she feels like that. She looked away from him, her brows furrowed together. There is a reason why she always wears long sleeves, a dress that goes down to the floor or pants, makes sure to not wear a shirt that goes off her shoulders, or has a revealing back of her dress. It would only reveal the nasty scars she has acquired when she was taken. She even has a scar on the back of her neck, which she always keeps covered with her hair. Even the palms of her hands has crescent moons in them from her clenching her hands so hard and her nails digging into the skin. "Don't assume things, Aro, when you don't know one's story." Her gaze flickered back to him, seeing that he took the drawings down before handing them to her. She looked between them and him, her brow raised in question. She reached out, her fingers accidentally brushing against his as she took them from him. She looked down at them, a small smile playing on her lips as she went through them. "Thank you." She said softly. She pushed off the desk, taking a grape from the tray and popping it into her mouth. "I should probably go as I feel like I am intruding in your personal space." She popped another grape in her mouth. "I am just down the hall if you need anything. My door is always open as I know how it feels to be alone." She gave him a soft smile. She headed towards the door, stopping at it when she reached it. "Do you need anything before I leave?" |

Amara couldnt even help but smile as Sebastian pulled her close. "Kitchen is this way" she said as she started heading in that direction. She watched him a moment before she saw the look on his face. "What are you thinking about" she asked as she tilted her head slightly, rather curious as to what was running through his mind. As she walked, she waited for his reply, hoping he was alright, knowing it must be hard being in another's kingdom without his family there with them, well, without his parents anyway. Amara didnt walk too quick as she had before, wanting to spend more time with Sebastian. As they neared the kitchen, she coud smell the food they were cooking. It made her smile. "I hope you are hungry for dinner. Our cooks are wonderful" she said. Her blue eyes looked at him before she looked forward once more. When she saw Cobalt near the kitchen, she knew then that her father was in his study. "Looks like you will have to wait until dinner, but at least you still get to meet him tonight" she said with a smile, hoping it would help him not feel so rude as to not have met him sooner. ~~~~~ Aro didnt say much after he handed her the sketches. "No, I dont need anything else" he said. He walked over to his bed and laid down as he often did around this time. "After dinner, just bring me a plate" he said as he turned to face the wall away from Lorelei. Aro wasnt much for talking, and to him this was the longest he had ever talked to anyone, and he wasnt sure too much as to what to think about it. He planned to wait for her to leave before he did much else. He wasnt ready sleep like he normally did, which he found it odd. Something about Lorelei was keeping him from being his noramlly quit, isolated self, and he didnt know why. |

Sebastian glanced down at her when she asked about what he is thinking about. He hesitated, wondering if he should tell her the whole truth. Then again, he doesn't want to say anything about Haku as he has a feeling she would try to stop him from trying to go talk to the man. He rather keep it to himself, wanting answers before he gets her involved in what he has going on through his head. He shrugged his shoulders as he looked ahead to make sure they don't run into anyone as they walked down the halls. "Nothing really. Trying to decide if I want to send a letter to have Atticus come here. I feel bare without my fellow canine." He said, a soft laugh leaving his lips while he thought about the young canine. When they got to the kitchen, his arm slid from her shoulders. He pushed the door open, letting her in first before following in after her. "Sure. I will be hungry for dinner. As long as there is wine, you have my attention." Honestly, he isn't a fan of alcohol, but he absolutely loves wine no matter what brand or flavor it is. It isn't strong enough for him to get drunk after multiple glasses, so he is thankful for that and it is one of the reasons why he enjoys it. He greeted the cooks, giving them a friendly smile before he made his way to some strawberries on the counter. He grabbed one, groaning in pleasure at the sweetness of the berry. He glanced at her, nodding his head. "That is fine. As long as I meet him sometime tonight is all that matters to me." ------ When he said no, Lorelei let a sigh leave her lips. It is definitely going to take a while, but it will all be worth it in the long run. "Alright. I will be back later then." She mumbled before she opened the door and slipped out. She shut the door slowly and quietly before leaning back up against it. She started up at the ceiling, wondering what she can do to help him open up. She wasn't sure exactly what she could do. Perhaps she will have to ask Amara for some guidance and hope that it will help her out. Then again, Amara failed at trying to help him, so it might not be much use. She pushed off the door, walking towards her room to change since dinner won't be too much longer. She didn't say anything to Xander as she passed him. She didn't need to as this is something she is going to be doing herself. Once they got to their rooms, she turned towards him. "You can do whatever now that I have met him. You don't need to hang around. Don't say Sebby told you to do so as we both know I am more than capable of taking care of myself." Once he finally agreed after a bit of bickering, she slipped into her room. She went to the bag she packed, taking out a midnight black gown that reached the ground. May as well look nice since she will be meeting Amara's father later. She hates she has to wear this, but she will just have to suffer. It was long-sleeved as well, yet the front was a bit revealing as it was a v-neck. At least that is one place there aren't any scars. |

Amara smiled when he menioned wanting his companion there. "I can always send one of out messengers if you do" she replied. "I know how it feels to not have your companions there. You deserve to have yours." Her blue eyes watched him, not really sure what else to say. "I am sure it will be alright no matter if you choose to have him brought here or not." She did hope he picked to bring his companion. Amara walked into the kitchen and nodded. "My father always makes sure there is wine, though I personally dont care much for any of those drinks" she said as she waited for him. She chuckled when she watched him take a bite of a berry. "Our cooks often grow these berries and other things themselves, making sure they are the freshest possible." She jumped up and sat on the counter while she grabbed one herself. "Strawberries are my favorites" she said. "And dont worry. My father never misses dinner, so you will be able to meet him at some point tonight." ~~~~ Aro waited until he couldnt hear her outside his door anymore before he got up and walked over to his desk. He took out another piece of paper and started to write a letter once again. This time, he was able to write more on it, and at the end, he flipped it over and started to sketch. The difference now was that it wasnt the same dragon as before, but instead, his mother. For the first time in a while, he felt a tear start to stream down his face. *Why do I feel like this* he thought as he shook his head. *Not like she could answer me anyway* he thought as he crumpled up the letter and tossed it onto the trash once more. He would wait for it to fill up again before he would light it as he often did. |

Sebastian shrugged his shoulders at her mentioning she could send for Atticus since he is fine. Now, if he is gone for more than a week, he will definitely have to have a letter be sent out. Unless the canine ends up coming here thinking that he is hurt. He wouldn't be surprised as Attticus has done that before when he was out on the battlefield disguised as a soldier. He wanted to see how bloody the war was over a week, but he didn't fight in it. Then, as he was checking over the soldiers in the medical tent, the canine came bounding in and exposed his cover. Great day that was when he had to explain to his parents why he was out on the battlefield in the first place. It wasn't like he was dead or hurt. At least her father doesn't miss dinner no matter how busy the man is. If it were his father, he wouldn't be at dinner or any other eating time until he was finished with his work. He knew that if he turned into that, he would pull his hair out. He will just have to have Amara drag him out of the study if that were to ever happen. He hopes not as he would love to spend time with both her and just helping out around the kingdom. "Great." He went over to her, standing in front of her on the counter. He put his hands on either side of her before he leaned forward and took a bite of the strawberry in her hand. He winked at her, his hand going over his mouth as a small chuckle left his lips. Clearly, he is quite flirty when he is comfortable with someone. Well, he trusts her enough and since she is his finance, it is fine to do so. "That was much more delicious." ------- Lorelei glanced at herself in the corner mirror, her brows furrowing together at seeing how the dress clung to her curves. She hated it, but, much like Sebastian, she has to have a good impression towards the King. She has a feeling she might forget to change later when going back to Aro's room. He would probably then find out that she isn't a maid. She frowned at that, not sure she wants that to happen. Then again, she can be an airhead. She will just have to keep reminding herself to make sure to change before arriving at his door. Then again, she feels like he needs to know that she isn't just a maid like he thinks she is. Sure, it would be easier to get to know him, but she didn't want him knowing what he think she does is the truth. As much as she would prefer that as she wouldn't feel like a puppet, she needs to be truthful with Aro. She sighed, knowing she should probably just stick with what she is wearing and deal with him throwing something at her or kicking her out later. She smoothed her dress out before slipping out of the room. She didn't see Xander in sight, causing her to quickly hurry away before he could catch her. Once she rounded the corner, she slowed down. She found herself at Aro's door once again, her gaze staring blankly at them. She reached out to knock, but pulled her hand back. She probably has bothered him enough for right now and will be bugging him later when she brings him food. "You're being so dumb, Lorelei." She said as she walked away from his door. |

Amara held a fake angered look when Sebastian ate the strawberry she had in her hand. "Why you turd" she said before she broke out laughing, unable to stay mad, or even look mad. "There are so many more to pick from." She glanced over and saw how a few of the servants were giving them odd looks, wondering how the two seemed close when they had never seen Sebastian around before. *Oh well. They can get used to this* she thought before she grabbed another and ate it before Sebastian could. She grabbed another before she placed it in front of Sebastian's lips and smiled. "I'm really enjoying spending time with you" she said as she looked him in the eyes, meaning what she was saying. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted some movement and saw Haku walking in. "Princess" he said happily, giving her a bow, which was quite unusual for him. Amara's smile faded. "Hello Haku" she said. She looked back at Sebastian hoping Haku would leave, but the guard simply walked over. "Who might your friend be" he asked. Amara turned to Haku once more. "My 'friend' is who I am suppose to marry Haku, and my father told you to back off" she said rather sternly. She semi hoped that Sebastian would do something either sweet, or tell Haku to leave, butshe wouldnt blame Sebastian if he kept quiet. *He doesnt know Haku, and I dont want too much trouble between them* she thought. ~~~~ Haku had seen Amara and Sebastian heading to the kitchen and had followed them quietly. He wasnt happy when he saw how happy Amara seemed to be with him and looked for any sign of weakness that he could use to possibly chase the "boy" off. *He wont have her* he thought. That's when he decided to approach and see what exactly was going on with them. ~~~~~ Aro laid back in his head and heard voices outside his door once again. He didnt know who it was, or what they were saying, so he placed a pillow over his ears to try and block them out. After a moment he sat up and munched on the food Lorelei had originally brought in before he laid down to try to sleep once more. For not doing much, Aro managed to stay as a slim figure, though his muscle tone was fading to not having much there. He often debated about having his sword and a dumby or two brought into the room for him to still practice, but he didnt see much of a point if he wouldnt be seeing anyone for more than a few moments. |

Before Sebastian could tell her that he enjoyed spending time with her as well, they were disrupted. He is displeased that someone is inturrepting them when they so clearly wanted to have time to themselves. It isn't like he is going to do something to her that could harm her or put her in danger in the long run. He had to turn his head to the side to hide the scowl that appeared on his features. He is going to have to have a talk with the King about people interrupting his time with Amara if it isn't important if it keeps happening. Now, if this conversation is going to be important, that is a different thing. If it isn't, that is another thing. So help him if people interrupt them just to get between them, he isn't going to be able to hold himself back and might just lash out at them. He has a feeling that Amara wouldn't appreciate it if he did it either. At hearing the guard ask him who her little friend is, meaning him, he turned his head towards the man, his scowl no longer there. He raised his brow in questioning, wondering why he would like to know who he is. At hearing the name Haku, his gaze flickered to her, wondering if this is the man she was talking about last night. He stayed quiet for a moment, letting her finish speaking before he said anything. "Nice to meet you. I'm Sebastian Glace from the Inferno Kingdom." He said politely with a kind and soft smile on his lips. He stuck his hand out, shaking the man's hand. He didn't even refer to himself as Prince as he hates doing so. Everyone is equal in his eyes no matter what title someone holds. "I wouldn't mind having a spar with you or having you show me the arena one day." He said, his smile not flattering. But there was a look in his eyes as if challenging the man to say yes just to kick his ass. --------- Lorelei made her way to the dinner hall, smiling slightly at the maids. She pulled a chair out before she sat down in it. She let a sigh leave her lips as she ran a hand through her hair and pulling it over her shoulder. It revealed a sliver of the scar on her neck, but not enough for someone to know what it is. For all anyone knows it could be the clip that holds her jewelry together. She rubbed her temples, her eyes closed as she thought of scenarios, none of them really fitting. How if she supposed to get though to him? She knows she will eventually, but that might take weeks. She doesn't have that time as who knows how long they are going to be staying here. She didn't want to stay here weeks either, especially if there isn't any progress with Aro. |
