Amara stirred when she felt someone gently shaking her shoulder. When her eyes opened she quickly looked around before she remembered what happened the day before. "I assume we werent attacked last night" she said as she slowly sat up from leaning against Luna. She looked around and felt her head still pounding. Amara still didnt feel like herself all the way before she realized what Sebastian had said to wake her up. "Calling me darling already huh" she asked with a slight tease in her voice. As Amara sat up, Luna stood up with Amara gripping onto the unicorn's mane, being pulled up by the white mare. Amara used Luna to steady herself as she sighed. "Are all the guards here" she asked. "And Lorelei?" She wanted to get a head count beforethe was ready to head out and take them the rest of the way back to the castle. *Hopefully we dont get attacked again* she thought as she looked at Sebastian. |

Sebastian sighed when she mention him calling her darling. Well, that was the first in a long time he has called another woman that. He remembers saying that to her so many years ago before she died as well. He might just have to call her a different name later on. He stood up, offering her his hand and pulling her up to his feet. He smiled softly at her before turning her around. "I mean, I could call you other names as well. Whatever pleases you." He murmured, his face close to her ear. Without much thought, he let his arms slipped around her waist and hugged her from behind against his chest. For some reason, it just felt right, and didn't know he is doing anything until it happens. He didn't say anything for a moment before finally speaking. "Let me do your hair." He wasn't asking, he was saying that he was going to be doing it. He pulled away from her slightly and started to run his fingers through her hair to get the tangles out of them. He listened to her, his gaze flickering towards the entrance for a moment. He knew everyone is there since he was just out there seconds ago before coming to wake her up. "Everyone is ready. I rather get a move on just because I don't want to stay in one place for too long." He mumbled as he separated her hair in four equal pieces before starting to slowly braid it. He only knew how to do such things since Lorelei taught him when she didn't want anyone in her room beside him after her accident. He went slowly just because he still wanted to have time alone with her for a bit longer before they had to join everyone else. After a few minutes, he was finished. He wrapped a tie around the end, making sure it was secured before he let go of it. He has its start from the left side of her head and had it wrap along the back of her head before the rest of it went over her shoulder. He turned her back around to look at his handwork, nodding his head in satisfaction at it. "What a beautiful masterpiece." He gave her a wink before moving away from her without another word. He grabbed the blankets, wrapping them up as he walked away. He went out to the entrance, Zahra grazing quietly away from everything. He went to her, slipping the blankets into place before getting onto her back. He waited at the entrance, watching as everyone hoisted themselves onto their creatures. He waited for Amara, not wanting to start leaving without her. |

Amara couldnt help but smile. "I dont mind" she said. "I just couldnt help myself with teasing you." Her blue eyes glanced back at Sebastian when he hugged her. "W-what would you like me to call you" she asked. When he "offered" to do her hair, Amara wasnt going to argue with it. *It's so sweet of him to do this* she thought as she waited for him to finish. *This arranged marriage really may not be all that bad after all.* Amara agreed with not wanting to stay in one place too long. "Will you be able to ride at a canter at least" she asked knowing his leg was still sore. She wasnt sure if she could keep up a canter for long either with still being a little weak from healing Sebastian. It still startled her that she was able to do so. "How if your shoulder, and what about your leg?" When he finished with her hair she looked over at him and waited for his reply before she had Luna lower herself so Amara could climb on with no issues. Amara looked over at Thunder who was riderless and tied a quick note to send to her father simply saying "Dinner should be at sundown". She knew her father would understand what it meant, while anyone else would just be confused as to what it meant other than dinner. "I want everyone to keep alert today" she told the guards. "If there is another repeat of yesterday, someone is losing their jobs." She was stern and cold to the guards as she spoke before she looked at Sebastian, blushing a little too obvious, making a guard or two chuckle while another rolled his eyes. She sent Thunder off before Cobalt flew into her lap and curled up for the ride home. "Hopefully today goes much smoother" she said to him, holding her hand out to him without realizing it. |

Sebastian didn't say much during braiding her hair or even afterward. He is just ready to get a move on and be away from this place. As he said before, he hates staying in one place for too long. Staying for too long can bring trouble and for the people who attacked him yesterday to get closer. He rather keep them as far away as possible to prevent anyone else from getting hurt. He turned towards her and shrugged his shoulders at her question about what he would like to be called. "Whatever you would like." He gave her a wink before turning his attention onto Xander and Lorelei as they came over to them. They were quiet, which made him surprised as neither one of them were one's to be quiet for long. Something must be up for them to not be saying anything but nod their head in greeting to him. He listened to Amara's words about wanting everyone to stay alert and to have no more injuries. He will agree with that as he rather not have anyone else hurt, even if it is one of Amara's guards. "I should be more concerned about you instead of me with what happened last night." He muttered, not wanting anyone else to know about her healing abilities until he gets more information on them. He has a feeling Xander would be suspicious and Lorelei would only want to learn how Amara was able to do such a thing. He knows for a fact that she would beg Amara to teach her how to do it, even though she had no idea she could do such a thing. "As for my injuries, I will be fine. I am in perfect condition." Of course, that is a lie, but he seemed to make it sound true with his dazzling smile. Just as they are about to head out, she saw her reach her hand out towards him. He reached out, giving it a soft squeeze before dropping it. "If you wanted to hold my hand so badly, you could've told me." He teased before taking off with anyone else. From anyone, they know that he is teasing her because he feels comfortable around her. This is surprising since they can't remember the last time he felt so comfortable around someone so fast, let alone with someone from another kingdom. Soon enough, they arrived at Amara's kingdom by mid-afternoon. He just wanted to get there as soon as possible without any hiccups along the way. Once they put their horses away and gathered their bags, they entered the kingdom's doors. He walked next to Amara with Xander and Lorelei walking behind them. He glanced behind him, seeing that Xander has a monotone face on, showing he is in business mode and nothing else. His gaze flickered to Lorelei, seeing that she is fidgeting with the hem of her shirt, not used to being in another kingdom, and having eyes on them as they walked along the halls. When she finally looked up, he gave her a soft, reassuring smile that she also returned. He looked back ahead, following Amara to wherever they are going. "After we are done with this, we are going to the library while Lorelei goes to your brother, alright?" |

Amara had smiled when he mentioned she could call him whatever she wanted. *I will have to think of something then* she thought. She figured something that would be a little joke for them. She blueshed when she realized she had held her hand out to him and bit her lip. "Sorry" she said as she placed her hands in Luna's mane. As Amara listened to Sebastian telling the guards that they wouldnt want to get hurt like he had. Her blue eyes watched them before she took the lead in heading out, taking to a quick walk, but nothing too stressful. ~~~ When her castle was in view she sighed. *Home* she thought. She missed it more than what she thought she would being gone only two days, but then again, it was a stressful two days. She had been worried about Sebastian, somehow healed his shoulder, and they still didnt have proof over who attacked them. She had hopped off Luna and the white mare went to her stall and she saw that Thunder was in his, the note gone. She knew the stallion made it to her father with the amount of food he had. *Good. Father will know we are here* she thought. Amara called for one of the servants to come over. "I would like you to give a tour to Xander and Princess Lorelei. Once the tour is over, please get Lorelei some servant clothes. She will be trying to talk to my brother, and do not introduce her as a princess to him please." She smiled as the servant nodded. "Of course princess Amara" she said. As Amara looked at Xander and Lorelei, she spoke to them. "The first stop will be to a few rooms for you to pick from of where you want to stay. If you wish for a servant to follow you for a while until you feel comfortable walking around, you may have one do so" she offered before she looked at Sebastian, nodding to heading to the library as soon as possible. "Lorelei, be careful" she said knowing her brother might be harsh to her at first. Looking at Sebastian she took a step closer. "Ready" she asked him as she prepared to look for any books that could tell them what was going on with her. *Would it be in the healing section, or the scetion on our history?* Amara had no clue where they could begin to look. |

Sebastian listened to Amara closely, seeing what she had to say. At hearing that Xander and Lorelei are going their separate ways, Lorelei started to panic. He can see it in her eyes as well as how her body seemed to slightly tense up. She looked at him wide-eyed, not ready to go off on her own even if Xander is going to be with her. He let a sigh out before stepping towards her and gathering her into his arms. He hugged her and pressed a kiss to the top of her head to soothe her. "You will be fine. If he throws something at you, I know that this panic you are feeling is only going to disappear. Besides, Xander will be watching from afar to make sure you are safe, alright?" She nodded her head before pulling away from him. He gave Xander a look, having his friend give him a curt nod before they turned to walk away. "I will." She said, referring to Amara telling her to be safe. Once they turned the corner, he turned towards Amara. He knew that she gets panicked without really noticing when it comes to new places she hasn't been before. She used to not be like this, but after her accident, it is hard for her to relax in a new place until she gets to know the people around her a bit better. Then again, if someone is to piss her off, that panic seems to melt away and she wants nothing more than to piss them off just as equally. "She will be fine. She is just not used to being in new places. One day I am sure she will explain why." He said, following her to the library. As much as he would like to go with his sister, finding out how Amara was able to heal people is his top priority right now. Once they entered the library, he pursed his lips, standing in the middle as he thought of where the books could be. His gaze flickered among many shelves of books, the gears in his head working nonstop. "Start in the history section, love. I will start in the healing." He said before stalking off towards the aisle on the books of healing. As he said before, he is going to be keeping his distance from her until he finds the answers he wants. -------- After picking a room with Xander across from her, Lorelei looked at the clothes she will be changing in front of her. She can't believe she is doing this, but if it helps him, that is all that matters to her. She let a sigh out before stripping her current clothes off and changing into the clothes on the bed. They fit perfectly to her body, making her feel a bit better being here. Though, she hates how they seemed to have her curves pop out since the clothes aren't baggy like she likes them to be. She soothed her clothes out, making sure she didn't have any wrinkles before opening the door to her room and stepping out into the hall. Xander was there, like he said he would, and telling the servent they are ready to head to the Prince's chambers. As they are walking, she looked behind her, seeing that Xander is following her from afar. She looked back ahead, almost running into the servent when she came to a halt. At least she didn't as she would feel embarrassed she did such a thing. She took the tray of fruits from her, just to have it seem she is giving him something and not just knocking on his door for no reason. She thanked the servent, watching her walk away before turning towards the door. She raised her hand but didn't knock yet. Her hand seemed to shake slightly, causing her to scowl before she knocked harshly against the door. "Prince Aro. I have some food for you." She said, preparing herself for what will lie before her once the door opens. |

Amara watched as Xander and Lorelei headed in their own direction, wondering why, but not pestering as to why Lorelei hated new places. Amara didn't blame her though, this was a rival kingdom after all. After leading Sebastian to the Library, she took a deep breath. As she skimmped through the history section, she stopped on a book that had all the former queens in it. Giving a sigh, she pulled out the book and looked to see if it had her mother in there. Amara almost put it away when she saw it didn't, but something caught her eye. "Sebastian, over here" she called to him. She was on a page about her grandmother that mentioned healing powers. According to the book, only the women of royal blood could heal with magic, though their power didn't come in until they turned 18, the day they were told about it. Amara's face dropped as she read it. "No wonder I didn't know" she mumbled to herself as she leaned against the book case. As she read farther in, it mentioned how the healing will drain the user, causing them to be weak for a short while depending on the wound they healed. ~~~~ Aro heard a knock on his door and narrowed his eyes as he heard the new voice. "Come in" he said as he made sure to stay in the darker corner of his room. He sat at his desk, writing letters, stacks of them to nobody. In his mind, this was how he would heal properly. He thought it would help give him the courage to finally sit down and talk with someone and not just sit and feel like a monster. He was wrong. None of it had been helping. He crumpled up yet another and threw it into the trash next to him and lit the trash on fire with the candle that had been sitting on his desk. "Who are you" he asked, wanting to know if this new person was paid by his father to drag him out of his room. It wouldnt have been the first time, and he assumed it wouldn't be the last time. As he waited for a response, he took out another piece of paper and started sketching a black dragon. |

Sebastian let his fingers skim over the spines of the books, taking only a brief glance over the titles. He wasn't looking at every title too closely since he had many books to look at to try and find his answers. He stopped for a moment, seeing a title about different types of herbs. He slipped it out of its place on the shelf and started to flip through the pages. He didn't grab it because it could relate to Amara. He grabbed it as he wanted to see if a certain herb was in there. When he didn't see it, he pursed his lips while wondering why such a thing wasn't written in the books yet. He quickly flipped through the rest of the book, seeing if he could see it at just a glance. When he didn't, he shut it with a slap, cringing at how harshly it sounded. He put the book back on the shelf just as he heard Amara calling his name. She must've found something for her to call out to him. He walked in the direction he heard her voice in, quickly finding her. He laughed mentally to himself, wishing he could find things as fast as he was able to find Amara. He walked over to her and looked over her shoulder to see what she was reading about. Even then he kept his distance, not too close but not too far from her either. Reading about her grandmother also having these healing powers, his brow raised. Seemed she isn't the first one in her lineage to have them. He read down some more, seeing that she didn't get them until she was eighteen. Interesting it was. "Huh." He said, grazing over the rest of the words on the page before he leaned his back up against one of the shelves. He crossed his arms over his chest, his gaze on her. "Anything in there that says it can harm others?" He asked with a raised brow. -------- Lorelei heard Aro telling her to come in. She just stared at the door, surprised that he didn't come to it and open it. How interesting. She glanced in the direction of Xander, seeing that he is looking out one of the windows like he sees something interesting out there. She hesitated, feeling bare and defenseless without her sword attached to her hip. Perhaps she will have to get a throwing knife and strap it to her thigh to make her feel more comfortable and safe. Then again, if Aro ever saw that, he might think that she is there to kill him or something. She rather not have that happen as she doesn't want to cause an even greater rift between the kingdoms. She snapped out of her thoughts when he asked for her name. Should she lie and give him her nickname so he doesn't try to figure out who she really is? Probably not as that would be a bad way to start out. She took a deep breath and softly, yet slowly opened the door to his chambers. "My name is, Lorelei." She said, closing the door behind her. Her eyes had to slightly adjust to the somewhat dark room. Of course, it would be dark in here. At seeing the fire in his trash bin, she started to freak out slightly on the inside. Though, that slowly slipped away as she narrowed her eyes at it. She went over to him and sat the tray of fruits next to him on the desk before going to the bin. She said nothing as she grabbed it and went into the bathroom to put it out. She wonders how long he has been dark and brooding around n his room like this. She remembers the days she was like this and still is if something triggers her. After she made sure the fire is put out, she returned to his bedroom and put the trash can next to his desk. She leaned against the wall next to his desk, her arms crossed over her chest as she looked down at him sketching. She took a closer look, impressed with his sketch of a dragon. "Impressive sketch so far." She comment, her gaze drifting up to his face. In the flicker of the candlelight, she saw a scar running down his face. That must be what is holding him back. "Why don't we open the curtains? It isn't good for your health to be moping around and brooding in the darkness of your room." |

Amara Amara looked over when she caught a glimps of Sebastian coming over before she looked back at the page she was on. "Nothing about harming others, but that anyone untrained could heal more than what they could handle and get hurt that way" she said with a small sigh. "I didnt even know my mother had this power either, or my grandmother." She glanced over at Sebastian again. "This could be why my father stopped me from seeing the wounded soldiers after I turned 18. He told me it was so I didnt become afraid of anything, but now it might be because I could have accidentally healed them." Thinking this, Amara only became more concerned. "I dont have anyone to each me about these things, and now, I could end up making myself worse if I even attempt to heal too large of a wound. Had you been hurt worse, who knows what could have happened" she said as she looked back at the book. Amara wanted to help others more knowing she had this power, but without the proper training, she could ruin it. "Have you ever heard of anything like this" she asked as she looked at Sebastian once more, hoping he had, though she wasnt sure if it would have been possible for him to know about it. ~~~~ Aro Aro gave Lorelei a glare. "If my father paid you to come here, then you can go. I dont need anyone he's paid to be in here" she said in a cold even tone. He watched her stiffen up with the fire in the trash, but wasnt surprised. Most of the women that were sent to him did that. What did surprise him though was Lorelei taking the trash bin and putting the fire out. Most that would see the fire would just leave rather than sticking around. When Aro heard her mention the sketch was impressive, he didnt say anything. "The curtains stay closed unless there is a storm" he said in the same cold even tone as before. Without looking at Lorelei, he could tell where she was by listening. *Thanks to be being here* he thought. He learned to listen and hear more than just what he used to. He could hear more of what was said outside his room if he listened carefully, though he mostly ignored it at this point. Aro glanced over towards a portion of his wall that had more sketches of the same dragon. A few papers had just parts that fit onto another piece that formed the whole dragon using more than just four pieces of paper. |

Sebastian listened to her, listening to her closely to make sure that he doesn't miss anything. Her getting dizzy yesterday is probably the result of her healing him. Since she didn't know about that, it clearly drained her. He will definitely have to watch her from now on to make sure that she doesn't hurt herself when trying to heal other people or even him. He took a step away from her, not wanting her to get the idea that she can heal his leg and then pass out from doing so. "I didn't move away because I am scared of you, darling." He quickly said so she won't get the idea that he did it because he is scared of her. He is just fascinated by it, but also wants to make sure that she doesn't overdo herself. "I don't want you to think you can come over to me and trying healing my thigh up." He mumbled, his gaze not leaving her. He snorted at her when she asked if he has heard anything like this. if he had, he would've told her about it already and they wouldn't have had to come to the library to search for information. "Clearly not or I would've told you so." He stepped towards her this time. He grabbed the book from her and placed it back up onto the shelf. They clearly have enough information for the day. "Now, why don't you show me around? I would love to see the kingdom that my lovely fiance is from." He said, a teasing tone to his voice. He reached out and grabbed her hand, seeing where she will be leading him. ----- Lorelei raised a brow when he said she could leave if his father sent her in here. She couldn't help but scoff at that, her head shaking. She pushed off the wall, her hands settling onto the surface of the table. She leaned towards him, her eyes slightly narrowed at him. "Oh, darling. No one sent me in here to do anything. Even if I was paid to do so, I wouldn't take it. I haven't even spoken to your father, so you don't have to worry your pretty little face about that." She said before she stood up, her hands leaving the table. That was completely true too. She is in here to help him take small baby steps at a time. Not huge steps to where it could make him retreat back into his chambers. She frowned at him when he mentioned that the curtains stay closed until a storm comes. This is definitely going to be a struggle to get him to open up little by little. She let a sigh out, going to the window and pushing the curtain a bit to the side to look outside. A small smile graced her lips at seeing the children out on the streets playing with each other. Maybe one day she will find the right person to be with and have kids with. "It's beautiful out. I have had my fair share in a dark room like this. Sitting in here for days at end isn't going to help anything." She mumbled, her brows furrowing together as some memories popped into her thoughts. She moved away from the window, the curtain going back in place as she looked around his room. More sketches of dragons are on his wall, making er walk over to it. She let her fingers gently trace them, a small smile forming on her lips at how good he is. "Remarkable." She whispered, her gaze flickering to each sketch. |
