Isabeau Rayfe Isabeau had arrived late to her destination. Late. To the Meadow Blossom blah blah blah blah yeah, that place. She clutched her letter in one hand and her suitcase in the other, biting her bottom lip. She was in the least bit please in any sense of the word as she started up the path. She then stopped, realizing she didn't know where she was going. The girl sighed and looked at her little wrist tattoo. She smiled and tapped the little angry frog before looking up again. Now, where to go...

Alina Smith (Ms. Smith) | M: Isabeau, eggs (Ind) Normally, Alina would not have gone to the choosing ceremony. It was already hard to let go of the eggs, without seeing them hatch. But, this had been a particularly good group, and Alina just had to make sure they were all okay. Apparently it was a good thing she did. Otherwise, no one would have noticed the student who showed up late. Alina made her way to the student, already setting a smile on her face. "Hello, I'm Ms. Smith. Shouldn't you be at the ceremony?"

Isabeau Rayfe // M: Ms. Smith Isabeau looked up, a brow quirked. Who was this? When she posed her question, she sighed a little, already a bit annoyed. "If I knew where I was going, maybe I could get there." She put a hand on her hip and cocked it.

Ember Lee Anders M: Moonblight, Flicker, & Erin Ember for a second heard a name, but it no one had said anything.. it sounded more like an echo.. He then stared at his companion. He licked his lips and whispered in a soft tone,"M-m... Moonblight? You're Moonblight right, but how do I know that.." He then felt as though someone was watching him.., he didn't really care though and continued scratching Moonblight's chin as she snuggled up against him. Oh my god.. he thought to himself before his mind went poof, Moonblight was to cute.. he couldn't handle how cute she was. Then his mind came back to him when he heard someone yell,'Am I late?," he turned around to look at who had yelled but before he got there his eyes stopped on a taller male with black hair and the softest green eyes. Ember was enchanted and couldn't take his eyes off even if he wanted to.., not that he did.. Who was that guy he wondered to himself. Maybe one day he'd work up the courage to talk to him.. . ~ . Erin River Clearview(Bits or River) M: Erin stared at the other students.. No one was responding.., he was beginning to worry. It was a simple question for goodness sake! He just stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do, or where to go.. Should he go to the table with the eggs, should he sit down, did he need to go and talk to a teacher? How should he know, he was late! Should he repeat his question..? He then realized his face didn't feel so hot.., that's good, right? M-my face is probably, well.. hopefully not red.., he thought to himself. Edited at March 22, 2021 01:11 AM by Ricaan

Alina Smith (Ms. Smith) | M: Isabeau Well, she has some fire. Alina wasn't all too happy about the student's response. Frustration flashed in Alina's eyes for a moment, then disappeared again. "Of course. I was just heading there myself. Why don't you follow me?" Alina took off before the student could respond, setting a reasonable pace towards the ceremony.

Sky, Ms. Smith | 21 | F | Dragon Flying Trainer | M: Everyone(ind.), River
"You are indeed late, but you did not need to yell that for the entire room to hear." Sky's voice betrayed her annoyance. It was just good manners to be quiet when you were late so you did not disturb anyone else. "Now sit down over there and wait," Sky gestured to some empty seats, "Then we will wait and see if anyone else is late so that I don't have to give the instructions more than I have to."

Isabeau Rayfe//M: Ms. Smith Isabeau sighed a little and jogged to catch up with the woman, hoisting her bags up and over her shoulder. Her long legs helped to keep pace with the one set, though her forearms ached from having to suspend her things above her shoulder. She stopped and took a moment to look around at her surroundings before keeping on her path. By the small glance she'd gotten, it was beautiful.

Alina Smith (Ms. Smith) | M: Isabeau, everyone (ind.) Alina walked to the room the ceremony was taking place. She pushed a door open without stopping, holding the door long enough for the student to either grab it or slip through quickly. Alina moved to a row of seats in the back; out of the way, and separated from the students. Only then did Alina glance around the room. The first thing Alina noticed was the eggs. A panic fluttered through Alina's chest as she looked at the broken shells. Then, with a small laugh, she remembered the eggs had hatched, not broken. Indeed, most of the eggs had hatched, and now, young hatchlings dotted the room. Most sat in a child's lap, but some were more energetic. Alina couldn't help but smile. She had done a good job with this year's eggs. All the dragonets seemed healthy and happy. Some of the eggs hadn't hatched, but Alina wasn't worried. Either students who arrived late would claim the hatchlings, or Alina would watch over them for another year. For, all of the eggs were still alive, and ready to hatch. Alina could sense their hearts, their movements. It was what made Alina such a good egg caregiver. Alina had always been able to hear the unborn dragons, though no one truly knows why. She cannot hear the hatchlings or the students. Only the eggs. And, for Alina, that was more than enough.
